ღ- just sitting in her car in a parking lot listening to music. since you both have a curfew you can't be out late for late night car drives; soaking up each other's energy. she barely lets you touch the aux tho.

rewatching season one of drawtectives and all of york's cultural blindspots fit pretty well into the idea that the northern tribes are nomadic. he's not dumb, he just doesn't know urban systems and human culture, but he especially doesn't know things that are tied to housedwelling. he can read in orcish, he can do quick mental math, he has a well-articulated critique of power dynamics, he's learned in skills that are easily portable. even the idea that orcs can't refuse an invitation suggests a culture where giving and receiving hospitality rather than items is the primary means of displaying status.

none of this is intentional, i'm sure, but it's kind of neat that it hangs together well enough with that interpretation
