Derecha "Huasos y Novias", Izquierda "Prima Cora" y "Dolores" "Huasos y novias" 2018 Loreto Sapiaín, la artista "Prima Cora" 2017 Inauguración de exposiciones en espacio O Inauguración Entre la ficción y la realidad Después de publicada la noticia de la exposición  Linaje en espacio O en el diario, sucedió algo inesperado y mágico para mí. Me escribió "Ana", la niña de la portada de la invitación e imagen del reportaje que me hizo Las Ultimas Noticias, quien me ubicó por correo, después de haber averiguado a través del diario mi contacto. Ella es Ana, Profesora de filosofía a punto de jubilar, quien trabajaba en el ministerio de educación y quien sorprendida de haber encontrado su foto de primera comunión de cuando tenía 9 años de edad publicada en el diario, comenzó la búsqueda de la artista que había utilizado su foto, su recuerdo, esa era yo. El registro muestra cuando nos conocimos, un día sábado en la exposición. Fue acompañada de su pareja y nos reímos mucho y estuvimos maravilladas de encontrarnos. Ella es parte de mi Linaje. Kristine Diekman & Tony Allard installation " The Big Book Project" at "Sensorium" in loft 249. Contemporary art in redefined places. This was a project I curated with Chi Essary, Rebecca Romani, and Tatiana Sizonenko, for Vanguard Culture's "Sensorium” at IDEA1. A new development located in downtown San Diego’s rapidly growing East Village district. The event included visual, performing, and culinary artists, occupying multiple levels of the property, including the ground floor hub, and the rooftop deck. Fifteen empty lofts were transfigured into experiential exhibition spaces, with over eighty visual artists. The event, not only combined the theme of the five senses, but also brought together diverse cultural organizations, groups, artists, and communities, under one umbrella. This spirit of collaboration and accessibility, which is at the core of the Vanguard Culture mission, and one of the reasons I am on the board of the organization, is critical for an emerging arts community to thrive.
