Captain America #253 (Stern & Byrne, Jan 1981). All those issues of Invaders finally pay off when the Falsworths ask Steve to hunt down Baron Blood in London.

Captain America #254

Captain America distracts Baron Blood while the rest of his Avengers fend off the vampires and get the civilians to safety. Captain America fights Baron Blood with a cat-and-mouse game until they reach deck where he (Cap) sees a lot of caskets which contain the reserves of Baron's vampire army. Meanwhile, the rest of the Avengers (Kate Bishop, Hercules, Hazmat and Quicksilver) reach the holding cells full of more trapped civilians and they could not evacuate them all because they ran out of escape pods for them. Even though they ran out of evacuation options and having the danger of more vampire army, Captain America has a backup plan as he throws the grenades to destroy the caskets of vampire reserve army. After Hercules and others free the civilians from the cells, Kate Bishop gives the rousing speech to the civilians to stand up and fight the vampires. Later, the burning Baron Blood eventually catches up with Captain America who is in the cockpit, piloting the helicarrier.
