In 2008, my dad hated Obama, so I hated Obama.

In 2012, my dad hated lgbtq people, so I hated lgbtq people.

In 2016, my dad loved donald, so I liked donald.

In 2017, my dad was pro-life, so I was pro-life.

In 2018, my dad hated women's autonomy and right to vote, so I began arguing back.

In 2019 my best friend was raped. The assailant (an ex) demanded she keep it. He was 18. She was 14.

so I was pro-choice. because if it had happened today, she would've had to travel over 300 miles to get the Healthcare she needed.

In 2020, my dad was deep in the maga cult, and heavily influenced by covid disinformation, becoming volatile and aggressive. So I moved out, and voted for Biden.

In 2024, my dad still loves donald, and I voted for Kamala Harris. 💙

I spent my entire childhood in a christisn maga cult, but I left, because I knew it was wrong. Lesson learned, I deconstructed, became more independent, and realized the absurdity of his bigotry, which was hard in a homeschool baptist kjv bible bubble, angry, closeted, and alone.

For the daughter's, living with insecure, angry men, I'm sorry. And you can be free from it.
