brief description: focusing on the more malefic side of mars in comparison to my previous post. in venus, aries is boyish and energetic— leaning heavily into bright reds to combat various shades of monochromatic blacks, whites, greys, and paler shades.

short hair, short cuts, and an even shorter temper.ᐟ
rather than the vibrant pinks and neons i've mentioned before, this venus in aries uses varying shades of red to cut through dark purples, greys, blacks, and army greens.
felt incredibly inspired by this picture from the musier paris spring 2023 lookbook— the use of grey leather on plain white with the model's very sleek pair of black boots made for such a carefully-monochromatic outfit that allowed for her red hobo bag to absolutely shine through. and the hair! just the perfect amount of short and playful that i associate with venus in this sign.
in this interpretation, venus in aries is a minimalist. yes, there may be a mix of revealing cuts and varying textures of leather and denim, but the colors always speak for themselves. sparkles, crazy patterns, belts, and excessive pieces of jewelry are to be kept at a minimum (but not forgone) in order for the singular addition of red to be the forever star of the show.
leather, cargo, and denim are truly the primary fabrics that bring body to each outfit for this sign— layered on top of cotton or modal to create emphasis for these more structured fabrics.

the ninth house also represents ethics; making this sign highly attracted to fashion brands that make use of eco-friendly fabrics and materials. they have a soft spot for brands that put special effort into ensuring that they are operated in an ethical manner.
colorful knits and sturdy hiking boots as seen in this aries x ROA hiking collaboration! such a perfect blend of comforting knitwear and natural colors to support the rugged life of their dreams.
too keep up with this sign's active spirit, i also envisioned a more boyish and sporty wardrobe and felt particularly inspired by the most recent sporty & rich x adidas collaboration. cotton tees, jersey shorts, and bejeweled sambas that are best for movement and activity!
in terms of jewelry, a charmed anklet first comes to mind. this sign is also a minimalist to, so they would rather put their energy into accessorizing their shoes with charms, bags with trinkets, and beltlines with functional pouches.
more energy moves towards functionality in this sign; with multi-pocketed jackets and pants, compact crossbody bags, and shoes that can be paired with a multitude of outfits.

Levi’s and Nigo have announced the launch of their latest collaboration, launching April 6th, 2023. The upcoming collection will be the third installment following previous archival reproduction and Human Made releases over the past two years.
2023 marks the 150th anniversary of the Levi’s 501 jean, one of the most enduring icons of style across the globe. To commemorate this historic milestone, Levi’s has collaborated with Japanese designer, disc jockey, and producer Nigo (Founder of BAPE and artistic director of Kenzo) to create a collection inspired by his favorite personal archive piece, the Hickory Stripe 501 jeans.
A pioneer of Japanese streetwear and denim aficionado, Nigo has spent decades sourcing rare vintage Levi’s and has accumulated one of the most expansive personal collections in the world. For Spring/Summer 2023, Levi’s has worked with Nigo to create a one-of-a collection inspired by the past & recreated for the present.
The two-piece collection features a pair of Hickory Stripe 501 jeans (retailing for $350) and a 557XX Hickory Stripe Trucker Jacket ($260). Both pieces were Made in Japan utilizing traditional manufacturing techniques. The 501 is crafted with 13 oz, Shrink-to-Fit Hickory Stripe selvage denim — specially developed for this collection — and includes classic details like the Levi’s Red Tab, signature button shanks, Two-Horse Pull back patch, and stitched arcuate on the back pockets. It comes in a vintage wash with specific threads and shanks to match the archival reference piece.
The 557XX Trucker Jacket is also crafted with 13 oz Hickory Stripe selvage denim and comes pre-shrunk with specific threads, sundries, and a vintage wash to match the 501. Every piece from the collection comes with a special edition Levi’s x Nigo 150th anniversary tote bag and co-branded hangtag.
The new Levi’s x Nigo collection is presented alongside a short campaign film, shot on location in Nigo’s hometown. Personifying the theme “The Future is in the Past,” the video portrays a young Nigo styled in the collection, exploring many of the formative locations and activities from his childhood in a go-kart.
“As a concept, ‘The Future is in the Past’ means looking at the past to create for the future. I found the original Hickory Stripe 501 at a vintage store in 1995 and haven’t seen it reproduced since then. Using the past as my reference book, I am honored to bring this archival 501 back during the 150th anniversary,” says Nigo.
The Levi’s x Nigo collection launches worldwide on April 6th, 2023, and will be available for purchase on Levi.com, the Levi’s App, select Levi’s Stores, and humanmade.

As previously mentioned, most of our blog and about 'Lucky Fortune' is solely based on indie and urban brands known for an inclusive target market.
This week we’ll be going through some of our favorite fashion archives of collaborations with brands we’ve been fortunate enough to have inspired all of us.
In 2023, as social media consumers, we start to pay close attention and notice what the future holds for these fashion brands. It's by scrolling through our Social Media feeds and taking notes on what is trending. We start to notice high fashion brands collaborating with brands with streetwear brands. It's interesting, because these urban brands may have less exposure and sold at a low price point. We can understand what these collaborations may do for the consumer. It may convince them to invest themself into a limited edition item and be the first to have it. Let's talk about it.

Thought we've seen it all? When this collaboration dropped, it seemed to have light up the consumers world with new and behold features this down-filled jacket had to offer.
This collaboration became available to the public and website October 15, 2022 on moncler.com.
Francesco Ragazzi is the founder and designer of Italian streetwear brand Palm Angels. Ragazzi was working for Moncler in 2015, eventually becoming its creative director later in 2018.(BoF)

We may know now, this isn't Supremes last collab with high end luxury designer. We are seeing this become a trend for both iconic brands, every couple years with little marketing schemes behind it. What we do know is that, we are only able to get our hands on these drops by buying resell these days. As soon as it drops on Supremes website, it is sold out within minutes.

Maison Margiela x GENTLE MONSTER SPRING 2023
Believe it or not sunglasses will always be a part of luxury fashion as well as for everyday use. Why not mesh both styles into a pair of fabulous eyewear for all.

Since the late 1970s and early 1980s, “Streetwear” has grown and taken a huge grasp in today’s fashion scene. Streetwear had a spread in a variety of ways, many say the young skaters from New York along with its hip-hop culture, or the Los Angeles surf-skate and graffiti culture were the influence on this trend. People look at those who wear streetwear brands to have “strong sense of community” or characterized by DIY aesthetics, basically anyone who wants to make a fashion statement, such as wearing casual clothes mixed with high and low-end clothes.
