While at Bako National Park I found this amazing Bornean keeled green pit viper (Tropidolaemus subannulatus) on a low branch in the understory of the coastal forest. So I approached it slowly and took this in situ image with a fisheye lens. Lately, I love to take in situ images as much as I can, leaving the animals as I found them, with almost zero disturbance. I still love to grab a frog or a snake here and there, but not when it’s not necessary at all. Bako National Park 🐒 . Tips for newbie/ 1st timer mcm i 😁: . - bawalah selipar or extra sport shoe. If datang masa air baru nak pasang, they wont go to jetty. So, kena turun kat pantai. Pakailah juga seluar yg sesuai 😁 . - bawalah tuala kecil 2 helai at least. Tisu 2 peket tak cukup 🤣 . - datang nk selesa2, dont ever plan for national park tour. If u want to go for nature, hati pun kena natural gitew.. . - bawalah insect/mosquito repellent. Very important. Or mopiko at least. Nyamuk dia tahap bina badan. . - pakailah sunblock. Lotion yg ada element2 repellent 🤣🤣 . - better go with tour guide. There are MANY WILD BOAR 🐷. Mereka tak kacau org pun. But they r everywhere. Good experience too. My 1st time tgk dekat2. . Bako National Park, Sarawak. 

Review: Jungle that resembles Jurassic world and really weird animals roam about the island. Home to the long nosed-pot bellied-webbed toe proboscis monkey. Wild boars be napping outside your chalet like a pet would and the macaques there are fond of muffins. Definitely recommend jungle trekking there. Countless trails for you to kill your legs and feel good about it after. Just avoid places with sightings of salt water crocodiles. They ain’t sweet to people (geddit? because they’re salty?)
