Okay. I had an idea. You guys know how there’s Swap AU’s for Undertale and Undertale Yellow where characters get swapped around…

But if we create a swap au where we swap the characters from BOTH games?

I’m saying rather that swapping Undyne and Alphys. We swap Undyne and Marlet.

So originally I was just going to make the full body design drawing since this artwork I made here isn't full body, here's that drawing in case you're curious:

So, I made a full body one and then got carried away and made Grillby and Fuku too, I still don't know how the arms work AT ALL but ehh... Whatever

I don't have too much info on Grillby and Fuku as AU Characters but I do have a bit on Muffet so here's that below the cut:

She graduated from a high school in snowdin and went to Hotland’s culinary school for her higher education, as soon as she graduated she took out a business loan and opened her bakery parlor.

Not much of Muffet’s early life is known, but we do know she lived with her grandmother, Little Miss Patience though it's unknown if her parent(s) were still in the picture, though we do know her mother's name is Little Miss Mactan, as in Latrodectus mactans (Black Widow), implying that if Muffet had another parent that Mactan probably ate them and the reason she isn't in the picture anymore is that she is serving jail time.

Muffet did meet Papyrus when she was 7 and he was in his 30s-40s at that time when he was working part-time as a babysitter, and at some point Muffet met Grillby but it's unknown exactly when.

During the Underground Civil War, her Parlor was temporarily closed down and she made food and supplies for the war effort.

Muffet is extremely skilled in martial arts and likes to use a fighting technique that incorporates elements of dance.

Before the barrier went up, Muffet’s Family originated from, what is now, the human country of France. We know that Muffet has a lot of tiny spiders that aren’t the same race nor monster type as her being from the Creature Type, but she does consider them her children, and no, they are not the ones she serves to others to eat, those are actual, real, living, exoskeleton and blood spiders not monsters who look and act like spiders, we know this because if they were monster spiders, she won’t be able to cook or bake them into anything as they’ll just turn into dust and dust doesn’t taste good.

We also know Muffet came from a longline of tailors and seamstresses, but Muffet chose to pursue baking and went to culinary school, however Muffet is still a natural tailor and is very good at making clothing, even making clothes to support the war effort during the Underground civil war.

We don’t know what Muffet’s pet is, we do know it’s not a species part of the Supernatural Order, so it’s likely just a familiar, though if it is, it's unknown if she is the one who conjured it or it was just passed down through generations.

Hi Everyone!! Here are some more brand new next gens for my Blossom Love AU. Onyx Bolt, Sweet Sorbet, Dazzle Flash, Bree and Brazen's parents are Grillby and Muffet. Onyx Bolt and Brazen were born as the only set of twins in the family with Onyx Bolt being an hour older than Brazen. Bree was born two years later, then Dazzle Flash was born a few years later and last but not least, Sweet Sorbet was born a few years later too. Onyx Bolt is very mature, super hardworking and very kind. He loves to help others, especially his friends and family and enjoys reading and singing in his spare time. He currently works with his father as a bartender at Grillby's Restaurant due to him getting his cutie mark because of his talents in mixology. Onyx Bolt is also gay and is currently dating Jesse (Jack Skellington and Sans's son). Brazen is somewhat immature, super mischievous and loves to play pranks on his siblings quite often. He's an astounding baker and helps his mother and sister at Muffet's Spider Bake Sales by making cute spider themed treats, which was how he got his cutie mark. Despite his immature nature, he's still very protective of his family and friends and will never let any harm come to them no matter the cost. Brazen is also pan and is currently in a "friends with benefits" relationship with Adonis (Alastor and Angel Dust's son). Bree may be very posh and super polite, but she knows when to loosen up and have a good time. She acts very elegant and regal, but can also be a huge raging party animal. Bree's very kind and generous as well. She's an amazing baker and has tons of knowledge on baked goods ranging from history to prepping them correctly. She's specializes in making fruit themed pastries hence why she got her cutie mark. Bree is also lesbian and is currently single as she wants to focus on helping her mother with her business. Dazzle Flash is super energetic and loves to help his brother, Onyx Bolt, with any task. He's also a super fast talker, which he's trying his hardest to break that habit of his. Dazzle Flash wants to work alongside his dad and older brother, but both Grillby and Onyx Bolt think that he should be a little older before he starts working at the restaurant. Sweet Sorbet is very kind and super relaxed. She's also somewhat lazy, but does try to help out in any way she can. She doesn't have any clue which family business she wants to be apart of, but her parents tell her that she doesn't have to decide right away as she has plenty of time to make up her mind. Here's Flame and Mulberry!!

Flame was an OC my high school sweetheart came up with. He's a Sans x Grillby child.

Mulberry is a Swap!Sans x Fell!Sans ship child I made back in middle school. For whatever reason, I was obsessed with the Sanscest ship children. I think it was because I loved the idea of combining two character designs and fusing design motifs and whatnot.

Also, this Mulberry has no connection to Star-Beau's Mulberry. UT OC | MULBERRY + BIO by Star-Babu on DeviantArt. Complete coincidence that we both have CerryBerry children named Mulberry. Lol.

I've explained half of Mulberry's story in Calli's Pride Art.

Mulberry's story starts before he meets Calli. He canonically was just a child that spawned into existence, and Swap Sans was like "omg so cute! Fell Sans, can we keep him?" And Fell Sans was like "Bitch, why? We can barely afford food on the table." And Swap Sans was like "I'm gonna keep him anyway."

The reason why I chose the CherryBerry ship wasn't because I actually shipped these two. It was because I didn't see any popular CherryBerry children. Like, Ink x Error had Paperjam and Gradient. Ink x Dream had Palette. Geno x Reaper had Goth, and so on and so forth. So I believed that having a Swap Sans x Fell Sans would be well received. My actual opinion on the ship at the time was very meh. I liked Swap!Sans, I didn't like Fell!Sans very much. And that favoritism was obvious in this story. Lol.

Mulberry grew up with a normal-ish childhood. It was obvious that things weren't going great at home. But Mulberry didn't let it sway him at the time. He was a very sweet child. Very friendly and nice to his fellow peer group.

But things at home got progressively worse. Fell!Sans was pretty much the breadmaker of the house. He had to work double time to keep food on the table, and that piled onto an alcohol addiction he apparently had. Swap!Sans had a problem with this because Fell!Sans was pretty neglectful of Mulberry.

Arguments would pile up and one day, in a drunken rage, Fell!Sans severely injured Swap!Sans, ending up with him in the hospital, Fell!Sans loses custody of Mulberry, and Mul ending up in the care of Swap!Papyrus while Swap!Sans was recovering. Once Swap!Sans recovered, he moved in with his brother and that's where Mulberry lived by the time he meets Calli.

The only reason why this story had this child of divorce plot was literally that Mulberry was a Mary Sue, and I, like every young teenager, thought that giving him a tragic backstory would fix that. Now having gone to therapy for several years, I can see where little kid me came up with this story.

Tips for being a story writer: don't give your OCs trauma. Give yourself trauma and then project it onto your OCs. /j

Post Calli's adoption, Mulberry made some friends. One of them being Flamelight. Mulberry and Flame kind of became self-inserts for me and my at the time bf. So they were just pretty much a fluffy romance. I don't remember Flame having much of a story. He's a chill nerd who loves science and has anxiety.

When Mulberry and Flame grew up, Flame got his dad's restaurant, and Mulberry became a baker. having that passion since he was a kid. They have a child named Cambri Pepper who was close to his cousin Juniper.

I have a fondness for Mulberry because he was the first time I started posting my art and my OCs. I opened up an ask blog on Amino, and I had frequent engagement with it. It made me feel like I had something to give to the world, and that the world appreciated what I did.

I want to start up another ask blog at some point. Not now. But at some point.

Grillby: he ofc owns his bar and grill

They're super chill and selectively mute! With some not speaking for years at a time! They love to help in the kitchen and will happily share recipes they know/find and always keep track of what their owners like/dislike/are allergic to and will also keep track of other bitties they or their owner cooks for! They get alone with Sans(and Sans types for the most part) so they're good bitties to house together and the Sans can help them cool off when someone rubs them the wrong way!(Like muffet bitties(say for swap variants lol)

Note: they arent a fan of narcicistic or self centered bitties/people or people that cook for others without regard!(like not making sure they arent allergic to it or actually like the food)

Potassium(Fell Grillby): He works at a bar and grill,

They're full of sass and often have a slight god complex, though its more like 'if you're mean then you arent worth my time', and they will see plenty of other bitties and their owners as their equals! Though they are often very short with Muffet types(say for Swap Muffets) and prefer to stay away from them, they don’t like their attitudes! They do like picking on others but wont if it upset them, they want it to be fun for both sides!

They're fire is purple!

Carmine(Swap Grillby): He's a baker ofc,

They are eccentric as fuck and can be super dramatic, but in the theater kid way, they love to bake and often will try to make baked goods for others! Luckily the worse they'll do is use their own fire to cook them if they cant get stuff into the oven or find other creative ways to bake! They get along well with swap muffets and love working with them! Helping them with the cooking while they'll help with the baking! Though they have a massive sweet tooth and kinda hates anything that isnt sweet- the best way to get them to each other stuff is by glazing(or drenching) it with honey or maple or some other kind or syrup! Though wet food can make it take more energy to 'digest' than to just not eat, so be careful! Though their fire burns hotter than other grillby's so they can take wetter food than others(which is good for them with their moist cakes lol)

They do hate dull colors and LOVE bright colors, even if they clash a bit lol

Their fire is usually the same as Tale grillby's! Or may lean a lil red!

Lithium(SwapFell Grillby): He works as a baker,

They prefer working with muffet bitties unlike most Grillby's! though they prefer swap variants as they find non swap muffets to be to greedy to bother with, but they like to bake while the muffet cooks! But that doesn’t mean they cant cook! Lithiums are very good cooks! They have reaaallly expensive taste, and want their food to look just as good as it tastes and wants at least their area to look very aesthetically pleasing! Their chosen aesthetics are more gothic and they like dark themes! They also have expensive taste with their aesthetics too, If it’s expensive and elegant then they will indeed favor it over normal more modern and useful tools, and they arent afraid of having to do a bit more work!

Warning! They are known to poison the food of people they don’t like- and they will make spicy treats, though if they like you they'll make treats more to your taste for you!

Their fire is white with gold accents!

Strontium(FellSwap Grillby): He isnt a cook or a baker, he actually run a library!

So of course as a bitty they'd love to read and be around books and other readers in general, They hate people that would tear, bend, fold, or otherwise damage a book or people that steal books and even as a bitty they arent afraid to hunt someone down for the disrespect of books/library workers! And arent always the most 'passive' about it either, though even then they almost never come back injured even though there is most likely quiet a large height difference- they love the dark academia aesthetic and often refuse to dress in anything other than a good tailored suit, often keeping a pocket watch on hand to check the time and tucking a notebook into their suit jacket along with a pen to take notes and keep track of things, this often makes them perfect to help with time management and keeping to a schedule! They like savory foods but arent super picky,

Their fire is black with silver accents!

Nebula(Outer Grillby): He works in a bakery,

They make super airy pastries and they're favorite bread to make is cloud bread because with a little bit of food coloring it's soooo pretty! They're super chill and like all outer bitties/characters they can float! They can get alone with almost any bitty and don’t even mind aggressive or territorial bitties as they can just float away when they're getting snippy lol, though if they or another bitty is being abused they arent afraid to burn someone, and when enraged they grow in size significantly! So when I say burn I mean like 3rd degree months in the hospital type burns-

Their fire often changes a lot but is usually mostly dark blue with bright or pastel colored accents!

Constellation(OuterFrell Grillby): He works at a bar and is a bartender, and works with Muffet, she cooks/bakes while he handles the drinks and the drunk pricks that try to flirt with her, they also sell edibles(tho they're pure weed and to help others relax or just vibe while being baked)

They like swap and outerfell Muffets! Since other muffets tend to be pretty greedy and self centered, but if they arent he gets alone with them well, they do have a habit of flirting with sans types, they are very tidy and hate it when theres a big mess, he gets it if you have trouble cleaning though and doesn’t mind helping clean up or cleaning up after others! He knows when to much is to much when it comes to alcohol or drugs so is surprisingly good for alcoholics or drug addicts, he's no nonsense but can take a joke and can crack a few himself! He just wont take someones bullshit, they're very good at reading people and can tell if someones a good person or 'worth hanging around' within a few seconds!

Their fire changes colors often but is usually mostly a dark red with gold, silver, and coper accents,

Solar(OuterSwap Grillby): he runs an ice cream parlor and runs it with his au's Muffet, who bakes!

They're super chill and super friendly, they arent afraid of making friends and will try to befriend just about anyone tbh, they like swap muffet types and ofc have a preference for outerswap muffets! Though somehow manage to befriend other muffets despite they're more greedy natures, though they are also easy to take advantage of- so be careful when they're around bitties that will take advantage of them!

Their fires change a lot but is usually a sorta pastel blue with white and pastel accents!

Jupiter(OuterSwapFell Grillby): He runs a full on restaurant! He runs it with his Muffet and they're both chefs, though Muffet handles the desserts unless it's busy and he needs help, the restaurant is similar to long horn stake house, but with a very space theme :] like, even the chairs float and theres string lights everywhere, he and his muffet both did the decorating!

They hold themselves with the utmost confidence! They arent afraid to speak their mind and arent afraid to Gordon Ramsey a situation if they think that would do get the best outcome, but that doesn’t mean they cant be understanding and sweet when they need to be! Though if anyone hurts someone they care about, even if it's just verbally, they arent afraid to scorch someone! Though they usually call a few burns a warning, and they arent afraid to turn someone into a burn victim if they keep pushing their luck,

Their fire changes a lot, but is usually a dark purple with silver accents,

Sapce(OuterFellSwap Grillby): he owns a winery!

They are wine connoisseurs! And are very knowledgeable in many other types of alcohols and spirits! They are almost always dressed in a suit, though an older styled one(like a 1930s swing vest) and ususally doesn’t have their suit jacket on or they have it over their shoulders, but not properly on, they hate when their clothes get dirty and hate not being around someone that doesn’t at least enjoy a good wine cooler maybe once or twice a month, even if you don’t drink it they like it if you at least have an interest or at least let them basically info dump(but they always call it informing even if it really is just info dumping),

Their fair changes a lot but is usually a rich orange color with yellow and/or white accents

Salsa(Dancetale Grillby): He owns a dance studio and teaches people the salsa and similar dances!

They are a little flirty and is almost always dressed to dance! With fitted pants and an unbuttoned shirt(that is usually sheer/see through or silk) tucked into their pants to show his chest(idk why salsa dancers do that but mm(in a good way))(also not all of them do that I wanna clarify), though if it makes others uncomfortable they will button up their shirt/get a more opaque shirt, they like to dance pretty often, even if its not the salsa, and love to teach others the dances they know!

Their fire is a lighter orange color than Tale grillby,

Twirl(Dancefell Grillby): He owns a dance studio and teaches people the waltz!

They are almost always dressed to the nines, even in their lounge wear, and they have pretty expensive taste in clothes, food, and living spaces! So they arent a cheep bitty to have, and they prefer to have some sort of academia or royal aesthetic to their living space, which they do need one(though they come with a decently sized house for them, its like doll house sized of course! And is like a mini mansion- so even though its 'small' its not exactly- well, small-) and they say they prefer bitties they hang around to have similar taste, though do also get along with sans types so the preference isnt actually a preference lol, they just want to keep their image, that is until they decide to flirt with another bitty that definitely doesn’t share their aestetic(which is ususally a Sans type)

Their fire is a lilac purple

Spin(Danceswap Grillby): He owns a dance studio and teaches people swing and jazz dances!

They are energetic and love swing music! They're always dressed like they're in the 1920s/1930s! They are super friendly and will happily shake hands and befriend just about anyone, they also tend to talk with lingo from around the early 1900s, so keep that in mind as they also tend to not quite get newer lingo! Even slag from the 60s 70s or 80s confuses them at times! But they get the hang of it after awhile, they love dancing in groups and will throw parties if there are any other bitties in the house willing to dance with them! They don’t care if they have a dance partner either, they will happily dance by themselves or with anyone and everyone! They'll even happily dance with their owners if they let them!

Their fire is a semi light yellow color

Sulfur(Raging Wars Grillby):(please I love my au/s) He owns a bar and grill, and works with his au's Muffet, she bakes and waits tables while he cooks and handles the alcohol/bar, he's not really a fire monster he's like a cinder monster, but like hot ones and can sometimes be on fire when angry or just feeling a strong emotion!

They're selectively mute and are fluent in sign(asl to be specific), and tends to let his au's Muffet do the talking, or anyone else honestly, they prefer just using sign or writing down what they want to say, they're pretty tolerant but if someone's threatening or tries to hurt someone they care about they arent afraid to send someone to the hospital, I want to remind everyone this is still technically a horror au(well, inspired by horror/fell/horrorfell/a bit of dust for the 'aesthetic' with plenty of my own ideas) lol, so Sulfer/s arent afraid to eat an 'unruly' person either, so be careful if you are in an abuse situation or you might just get some 'mystery meat' that they would only be happy to cook(or get rid of some other way if you'd prefer)

His cinders are a rich black and he's usually glowing slightly like hot coal, when he's on fire his fire is a red/orange depending on how much he's burning,

Phoenix(BirdTale Grillby): Adding on to the other card here! They like other bitties with wings ofc, they like having a flock! They need dust baths since water can cause them pain and to turn to ash a bit, so don’t try to give them a birdbath- they would rather clean themselves with dirt than have to deal with having to regrow all their feathers and maybe parts of their body depending on how long they stay in water-

Underzero is a WIP Au by us, (us being @sariels-world-ella and @strawberry-lemonade38 ) where the surface world was plummeted into a nuclear winter destroying most of the surface world, but the barrier managed to sheild the underground from the damage and radiation but plummeted them in a deep winter as well.

Muffet is a baker and a conartist, always finding ways to make some money, usually by either selling bake goods or conning money out a certain local celeberty, she is a feisty, head-strong, and insanely clever monster with a love of baked goods and gold.

Concept arts for Muffet's Underzero design, I took inspiration from Slavic clothing but made it more "skimmpy" but without being impractical.

Ardere - Final Boss Grillby

Personality: He is a force to be reckoned with disguised behind the mask of a very lovely and kind fire bartender. A calm and tranquil person who delivers exceptional customer service and is highly charismatic. He is a very charismatic person and never hesitates to protect his loved ones. He takes special care of his diner and bar. He enjoys mixing and making beverages. He enjoys jokes and puns and is a little flirty. He is usually calm and quiet, yet he pays close attention because he knows his customers. He tries to be peaceful and quiet, and he enjoys helping others whenever possible. He misses Aspera.

Appearance: He is a fire monster, he has a scar on his eye.

Honoré - Final Boss Muffet

Personality: She is a bit greedy, but she is only trying to make sure that the spiders get the shelter and food they need. She is very good at working and is very cautious with her business practices. She is pure charisma and delightfulness. She is a talented and careful baker. She is a very popular bakery owner. She is Ardere's business rival and doesn't mind it at all. She resolved to settle their rivalry by opening a cafe and bakery across the street. She's self-assured and enjoys serving Honey tea when people stop by. Mocha enjoys preparing goodies. She also has a friendly rivalry with Caramel, who occasionally works at her cafe.

Appearance: She is a spider monster. She has a scar on her left eyes.

Emery - Final Boss Monster Kid

Personality: They're nice, energetic, and kind. They play and hop around and are quite happy. They enjoy assisting others and are particularly fond of Lowen. They look up to Valda and want to be like her. They're a good kid, yet they're very rebellious. They are a warm and courteous individual. They are generally kind and considerate of others. They look up to the captain of the Royal Guard and the Royal Scientist. They wish they could be stronger and aid more people. They are a model trainee who works really hard. They work hard to help and study magic. They're also pretty daring. Their voice and passion of music develops.

Appearance: They are a lizard monster with no arms.

Shining Bright, Served Two Ways, Chapter 1,2,4 extra notes!

Chapter 1:

While researching for this, I found out that bakers apparently got up early by drinking a ton of water so they would have to use the bathroom. Obviously, this would NOT apply to Grillby at all! So I figured since some monsters could fly, having a returning flight courier waking him up would work instead!

Sal's speech:

So when I type (or even talk!) sometimes, I will skip over words, especially if I went back and edited for clarity, some straight up end up missing in the editing.

Chapter 2:

Me and a couple others in the Grillster fandom are shaking hands on some headcanon/headfanon here, with the hands being from waterfolk (Space) and Grillby running a bakery (Jekkie's Castle of Oblivion uses this. Go read it!)

Chapter 4:

Gaster in canon is portrayed as a spooky boi. However, his language, while complex, is very polite and encouraging.

Entry No. 17 actually inspired me that he would maybe have some sort of infrasound behind his speech to portray this in a non-visible way. 17hz has been portrayed as the "fear" frequency. While there are no frequencies related to the other Dingbats type fonts effects, Monsters are made of magic, I don't have to have an actual explanation for them.

Sans' Z used to be said to be aster by the fandom- HOWEVER, the weightings are opposite, like I have Wingdings' handmade script! I also use the term script here instead of font- font came from metal typesets and not handwriting. Which, while in this time period, would not be adopted until much later to describe a skeleton's script.

Sal liking ginger's "taste" was inspired when I had Covid one time, and it was one of the few things I could "taste": the burn of ginger.

I also have Sal call Grillby "Bee" due to how twitter translates Japanese UT twitter- it usually comes out as "Bee" or "Mr.Bee". So, Bee it is!

After you fight Papyrus in game , he actually has a box of "ALL THE ATTACKS I USED ON YOU."- implying attacks can be taken from an inventory and a physical box is part of it. Even though AD is basically god and canis-ex-machina, would make it easy for a dog to steal an attack this way,too.

Box-as-inventory is also inspired by how Susan in El Goonish Shive stores and retrieves her weapons.

The shared inventory was inspired by the boxes linked in Snowdin and Waterfall.

Hey good idea! I couldn't think of another fire colour I HAVEN'T used, so I made a water Grillby!

there is a jellyfish that sometimes drifts through him, and he has heard the 'water you doing?' pun so much that it hurts.

But with supply issues and no threats to her spiders, UC Muffet would probably make clothes, and maybe make sweets from coconuts or some other plants to give to people who buy things from her spiders.

She would hear about the human either through her spiders or from other monsters and stop them on their journey to figure out their motive. Of course if the human has purchased anything from her spiders, she'll thank them and let them move on.

Who's the best cook? (not baker we know toriel would take that place right away)

Depends on the dish. Most of them have a handful of dishes they know and take turns making dinner.

Undyne and Papyrus know pasta of course, although Undyne can get a little overzealous.

If Sans is put in charge of dinner, it’s most likely gonna be a big giant tray of Torino’s pizza rolls, or else take-out from Grillby’s.

Alphys really only becomes interested in making food if she’s trying to replicate something from an anime or video game, but she’ll go to great lengths to make sea salt ice cream, or anything that remotely resembles those big thick strips of bacon from Howl’s Moving Castle.

Asgore can competently make a pretty broad amount of foods and generally ends up being the one cooking dinner most days. He’s not a five star chef or anything but he’s prettymuch mastered breakfast foods. He can even do crepes if he’s feeling fancy.

Toriel also cooks pretty regularly. Most of the dishes she knows are things she can make using fire magic. She also knows how to cook vegetables in a way that makes them tasty, even to children. Usually it involves sauces.

Title: Castle of Oblivion

Summary: The clouds parted and the sun shone gold on the castle gilded in flowers. Grillby looked up to the castle’s only turret. Its dull stone could not be seen for the blanket of vine-like flowers. Once upon a time of peace between humans and monsters, there was a baker who adventured out into a forest one morning. There he discovered a castle covered in golden yellow flowers. And inside, a man who has been cursed and forgotten. But what can the baker to do remedy this?(aka a grillster beauty and the beast au)

Fic preview: The smell of warm bread filled the bakery. He guessed that it would be a slow day, nothing much else other than deliveries. Grillby was waiting for the last loaf of bread to finish in the oven. Outside the window the morning sun shown on the dew, like honey drops on the late autumnal mums. He watched the valley wake up like he did every morning. Once the loaf was done Grillby quickly wrapped the bread. The loaf warmed the cloth around it, and loose oats fell onto the table. Grillby smiled and dusted them off. He sighed. For the morning, he was done.

This has the downside of being a necessity, so if they don’t absorb any for a while they go into a hunger state in which they can lose control of it and their soul will try leeching off of anything. (for monsters since their entire being is made of magic, this can mean death.)
