I would *really* love for some of these people screaming for the dissolution of Israel to kindly look up Baha'i and think for *half a second* about what would happen to the Baha'i people and all of our holy sites and constructions if these Hamasniks got what they wanted. The Shrines of Baháʼu'lláh and the Báb? Gone. The Arc and the Universal House of Justice? Gone. All the Israeli Baha'i people? Dead or forced out. A cultural and religious seat that's existed for nearly 200 years would be no more and none of those people give a damn. Hell, they probably don't even believe it even exists in the first place!
Sadly, they don't care about baha'i people.
There is this actor, I forgot his name but he was in Jane the Virgin.
He was born jewish but converted to Baha'i and visits Israel to go to Baha'i holy places.
He was in some drama with some actress about a movie recently and it brought him back into people's minds and they were essentially calling him a zionist because he visited Baha'i holy places and when those people were explained why he was visiting Israel, they suddenly claimed that Baha'i was a form of Judaism (it is not) and claimed that its still bad because jews had a hand in the religions creation (we did not).

Happy belated day of Saint Mary Magdalene. July 22.
I got this necklace years ago (I really like the look of it and it says: a loyal and courageous heart) which is when I discovered Mary Magdalene. She is one of my favorite saints, one close to my heart. She can be controversial as a saint since many frown upon her and her actions, but what always stuck to me was her loving heart, her loyalty (July 22 is also the start of Leo season which I see correlate). She was forgiven because of the love in her heart.
So I remind myself to be gentle with myself when I am in despair, a pit of guilt. Things I have done or regret now, when I feel like the enemy or just useless; I have love in my heart and everyone deserves to be tender with that, with themselves. You are not your past. You are not your mistakes. You are what you make of them and how you look upon them, and you let those chains go. You're forgiven because at the heart and soul of you, you're a good and loving creature among everyone else you forgive too.
Mary Magdalene loved with a relentless, unmoving love. Jesus said: "Many sins are forgiven her, because she has loved very much." In Luke 7:47, it is said "But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love."
Hope, love, peace ♡

I run a discord server called Garden of Eden. It has 400+ members. It's a general religion and spirituality server for all people and faiths, mainly for discussions and community rather than debate. We watch shows, and anime, play games, share art, talk about stuff unrelated to religion, and so on. Everyone is welcome, no matter their faith or background. We have a friendly community and love getting new members, so please message me or reply to the post if you want to join.
(If you just like the post without messaging or replying, I won't assume you want a link.)

Amidst the bustling cityscape of Haifa, the Baháʼí Terraces offer not just a breathtaking sight but also a profound symbol of the pluralism and religious freedom that enriches Israeli society.
These terraced gardens gracefully ascend Mount Carmel, representing more than just an architectural marvel; they embody the essence of the Baháʼí faith – unity and peace.
The Baháʼí faith, with its roots in the 19th-century Persia, found its spiritual and administrative home in Haifa.
The Terraces, surrounding the Shrine of the Báb, one of the faith’s central figures, is not only a place of pilgrimage but also a beacon of inclusivity and harmony.
The meticulously manicured gardens, with 19 terraces extending up the northern slope of Mount Carmel, are a visual representation of the Baháʼí teachings about the unity of humanity and the integration of nature and spirituality.
This sacred site is more than just a religious landmark; it’s a testament to the diverse fabric of Israeli society.
Israel, a land revered by many faiths, stands as a unique mosaic of cultures and beliefs.
The existence and preservation of the Baháʼí Terraces in Haifa exemplify Israel’s commitment to religious freedom and respect for different faiths.
In a region often marred by religious and cultural conflicts, the Terraces shine as a symbol of coexistence and mutual respect.
The beauty of the Terraces is not only in their stunning gardens and architectural excellence but also in their message.
They speak to the possibility of a society where different religions and cultures can coexist peacefully, each contributing to the rich tapestry of the nation.
As visitors walk through these gardens, they witness the serene power of unity and the importance of preserving such spaces that celebrate diversity and encourage dialogue.
In a world where religious freedom is not a given, the Baháʼí Terraces in Haifa stand as a proud reminder of what can be achieved when a society embraces pluralism and mutual respect.
They are not just a jewel in Israel’s crown but a beacon of hope, showing the way towards a more inclusive and harmonious world.

If Israel is the only thing that's protecting Baha'i people and preventing the destruction of their holy sites and dismantling will results in backward savage inherently violent Arabs killing all Baha'i people and destroying their centuries old holy sites, then how come those backward savage inherently-violent Arabs didn't do that before Israel was created? 200+ years seems like more than enough time for backward savage inherently-violent Arabs to kill Baha'i people and destroy all their holy sites.
I know this is in bad faith but I want to set some things straight.
1. I have never called arabs inherently violent or savage. As I've mentioned many times I am an arab jew, why would I call arabs inherently violent when that means I would be calling myself inherently violent? I have spoken out many times about calling arabs and Muslims inherently violent. Fuck I even made a post yesterday with a quote from bones where I say that Hamas is bad, not Palestinians. But I guess strawmanning me is easier than looking on my blog.
2. To get into the rest of your ask, Hamas is an extremist islamist organization. They have outlawed every religion besides Islam in Gaza. If Israel is gone and Hamas is in power, news flash, Baha'i will be outlawed across the region where Israel and Palestine currently sits. Hamas wanting that does not mean that all Palestinians are violent or hate Baha'i people, it literally just means that hamas wants to get rid of every other religion.
This honestly shows that you view all Palestinians as hamas as the same which is actually a fucked up view to hold. Your average Palestinian is not Hamas, your average arab is not any extremist islamist group.

The room of Bahá’u’lláh at the Ridván Garden as it looks today.
During one period, Bahá’u’lláh stayed at the Ridván Garden for nine days, meeting with the pilgrim groups that came out each day from ‘Akká to see Him.
In 1881, the Ridván Garden was purchased for Bahá’u’lláh. Pilgrims still go to the little house there for prayer and meditation.

The first Bahá’í House of Worship on the African continent, completed in 1961, is in Kampala, Uganda and has become a well-known landmark. Bahá’í Houses of Worship are spiritual gathering places open to all peoples. It was far from easy to get here. I took a bus from Kenya to Uganda over night, with multiple delays and had to switch hotels three times. But I was able to make it and listen to prayers and choir and meet locals. The stories have been touching and at times funny. One story was the Ugandans were skeptical of the Temple and rumored it had ghosts. There are no ghosts, but it is a very spiritual and peaceful place to visit so please go if you can. #bahai #bahaitemple #bahaihouseofworship #Uganda #kampala #africa #solofemaletravel #solotravel #travel #sightsee #femaletraveler #travelblog #nofilter #nofilterneeded (at Bahá'í House of Worship - Uganda) https://www.instagram.com/p/Co4bSsVtZcg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
