Your first night in Las Vegas was spent playing slot machines and staring in shock wondering how a male stripper could fit so much into a G-String. You were getting married soon and the bubbly feeling was finally getting to you now that you laid in bed with your fluffy customized bachelorette robe and were laying in the king-size bed in one of the best suites in the hotel. You knew that your best friend Autumn had an early morning planned for you and others, at nine in the morningall of you had a spa day filled with massages, pedicures, manicures, and facials, and that would be followed by a nice luxury brunch. Although, your friends probably were in some nightclub drinking and dancing away—you realized that you no longer could hang out like you used to. Retire to your room early just to indulge in room service and the jacuzzi bathtub you had in your room.
You wondered what your fiancé was doing. Due to the rules of the people who planned all of this, they thought it would have been best to give you guys separate rooms. You didn’t mind that at all, but you knew this was torturous for your Waka. You grabbed your phone to text him, but then you remembered that Tendou had collected his phone before the group parted ways to start their own night of fun. You hoped he was enjoying himself and his last couple of nights as an engaged man. However, you could already imagine that he was ready to go back to his room but Tendou most likely was holding him hostage. As you went to turn the television on, a knock was heard at the door. You assumed it was the room service you ordered, but when you opened the door—there your fiancé stood with some foolish tipsy grin on his face. His face was as red as ever and gosh, you couldn’t even keep a straight face at how he looked at the moment. He looked like he had used the bathroom and forgot to fix his clothes. But it was the fact that he was breathing so harshly as if he ran a marathon that made you chuckle.
“Why aren’t you with your friends?” You snickered as you looked at him. “Your best man put so much into your party and you ditched him. Do they even know you left?”
Ushijima Wakatoshi didn’t say much as he stepped forward and let his forehead fall upon your shoulders. He took in the sweet scent of the body butters you use, which automatically meant you must have just gotten out of the shower or bath. You heard him let out a sigh before speaking, “I just missed you baby.” he utters in a whisper as if the two of you stood in the strictest library.
“You literally saw me earlier during breakfast and you also FaceTimed me while you were getting ready because you didn’t know what shirt to wear.” You pointed out as you dragged him into your hotel room.
“I know, but I still miss you.” Ushijima’s body plopped down on your bed as he stretched his limbs. “I ran up some flights of stairs to get to you, you know?”
“Waka, why the hell would you do that? They have elevators for that. How much have you been drinking?” You asked as you kneeled down to take off his shoes.
“I missed the elevator and was too eager to wait for another one.” He answered truthfully as he sat up using his elbows. He chews at his lower lip before speaking again, “I just had a little bit of scotch and some other things the guys I brought. Which I must point out was very expensive. Why is everything so expensive here? And why is everything so loud? Especially those damn slot machines.” He hiccups.
He just kept going on and on until his eyes glanced around at your hotel room. It was as if he had forgotten what he was talking about in the first place. “Your room looks better than mine.”
“Really? You should see the view from the balcony.” You sat on the bed and your head motioned to the balcony door that was closed.
“I want to see,” Ushijima’s voice drags as he glances at the closed door. He blinks a couple times and then looks at you. “I bet the view is amazing.” His words drag off before he sits up.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” You sniffled a laugh before standing up to help him take off his clothes but he gently pushed your hands away.
“But this could be the last time we see the Vegas view.” He stands up strolling to the balcony with you not too far behind him because you would hate for your fiancé to go flying over the balcony.
He inhales sharply before exhaling the Vegas air. Many of the bright lights made the city look beautiful at night. It surely lived up to the lively experience it advertised on the television shows and movies. It wasn’t even the first on your list of where you wanted to go for your bachelorette party—you were thinking something calming and relaxing like Cancun, but Autumn and Tendou had something up their sleeves. Now here you are in Vegas looking at the gorgeous night view from your suite balcony.
Ushijima's arms are wrapped around your waist before he rests his chin on your shoulder. “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.” He kisses the side of your neck. “I can’t wait to wake up next to you and see that gorgeous smile every morning.” He pecks again. “And I can’t wait for you to have my last name.”
He lets out a happy sigh before letting his body slump on the chairs that were on the balcony. His eyes scan over your body and his teeth nibble on his lower lip before speaking, “Baby..” His voice came off as a whine and it took you by shock.
Ushijima Wakatoshi whining for you. The roles were always reversed. It was you pouting your lip gloss-covered lips out at him and whining to him about wanting him.
“Waka…” Your voice trails off as you wiggle out of his grasp to turn to look at him, back against the baluster of the balcony.
Bold olive-colored eyes stared down at you with some form of hunger you’ve never seen before. Your teeth glided across your lip as you nudged him back into the hotel room just before he leaned down to kiss you. The balcony door closes with a soft thud and you’re pushing him on the bed.
“You’re being quite bold right now.” You noted, this time you helped him remove his clothes. Fingers curled on the fabric of his polo shirt to tug over his head. “Do you think it's the alcohol?” Your perfectly arched eyebrows raise at him in curiosity.
“Maybe,” He hiccups. “I didn’t have that much. You know I’m not much of a drinker.”
That was true, he didn’t drink much so you were positive that three hard drinks would have your fiance's face flush the brightest red and him slurring his words. While neatly putting his clothes with the rest of your dirty clothes. You brought the blanket over his body, completely tucking Ushijima in to rest. “Get some rest, my love. We do have an early brunch tomorrow and Autumn will kill all of us if we’re not on time.” You joked.
You leaned down placing a loving kiss on his forehead, the kiss seemed to be a comforting thing for him as he snuggled further in your bed.
“Babe..” He whispers as if the two of you resided in the quietest library. “I’m so lucky to be able to be married to you.” His eyes shifted close as if he was going to go to sleep.
“We’re not married just yet, bear.”
“What?” His eyes shot open as if you’ve just dropped the most shocking news to him.
“The wedding isn’t until next week.” You reminded him.
“Oh…” His voice trails off in disappointment. “Well, I can’t wait for you to be my wife.” He sighs happily before his eyes shift close again.
Your lips parted to respond, but you were met with a snore. Mentally marking down that had to be the quickest you’ve seen Ushijima fall asleep. Usually, you’re the one falling asleep on him since he would stay up watching back some games. But the roles were reversed now as you admired how at peace he was. Admiring how his lips pouted outward just a bit when he was sleeping and sometimes his thick brown eyebrows even crumpled together as if he was in a deep dramatic dream.
You were so lucky to be his fiance, to be his lover—his soon-to-be wife.
In the middle of Las Vegas' busiest casino, Tobio Kageyama felt like he had about ten-plus children going through a kid crisis. Tendou was drunkenly crying because they couldn’t find Ushijima, and Kai poorly trying to calm him down because he too had a little too much to drink. Hinata and Atsumu were playing rock paper scissors for their casino winnings (it was only five dollars and forty-five cents). He thought Daichi would be able to help him crowd-control a bunch of volleyball-loving men, but Tobio didn’t even know where Daichi was. He glanced down at his phone for a split second and Daichi and Oikawa were gone.
“So let me get this straight, you guys lost the groom in Las Vegas….” Autumn, who was the best friend of the bride, swirled her straw in her drink trying to sniffle a laugh. “Have you guys tried calling his phone? I don’t think it’s safe for him to be wandering around tipsy in Las Vegas.”
Tobio holds up Ushijima’s phone and Autumn's plush lips form a straight line before sighing. “Well, you guys better go find him.”
“What? You’re the maid of honor, I think it’s best if you help us.” Kobio’s blue eyes sparkled with pleads and Autumn shrugged her shoulders.
“I didn’t lose him, you guys did. My best friend is safely in her hotel room getting her beauty sleep for the brunch tomorrow, and Ushijima Wakatoshi better be there next to her at noon, sharp.” Autumn backs up from Tobio to rejoin the girls at the blackjack table they were at.
And it soon hit him, if Ushijima did walk off by himself—the first person he would go look for is his fiance. That's what Tobio would do if he was in that situation. After he consulted the others about where he was going, the only one who decided to go with him was Tendou. Whose wet cheeks were as red as his buzz cut due to the crying. Tobio’s knuckles knocked on the room door and he could hear some shuffling around behind the closed door. He even could hear a faint, “Waka. Stay in bed, and rest.”
The door was tugged open and there Tobio’s unsettling thoughts that they may have lost the groom in Las Vegas washed away. His body relaxed as Y/N leaned against the door frame slightly in her pajamas.
“Missing a groom?” She questioned as her eyebrows raised at the two men in front of her. “He’s going to have one major headache tomorrow, but he’s fine.” She gives the two a smile. “I’m sure he really enjoyed himself tonight-“ her words stop as Tendou loudly sniffles overpower her.
“Are you crying-“ Her question was interrupted by Tendou’s tipsy state waltzing into her room and crashing on the bed, on top of his closest friend while he drunkenly sobbed.
“I thought I lost you, buddy.” His slender fingers caress the top of Ushijima’s head.
“Even though I can feel the room spinning, I know for a fact I don’t want you on top of me like this..Tendou.”
Tendou sniffles and climbs off his friend. Wet cheeks finally drying up at the sign that his friend was okay. “Why did you walk off? You could have died. Then I would have to marry your fiance.”
“What?”
“Huh? Oh nothing, goodnight Miracle Boy.” Tendou’s voice drags out as he gets dragged by the collar of his jacket by Tobio.
Even though you can see your fiance’s ears grow red in embarrassment at the nickname he hasn’t heard since he was in high school, a smile crept on his face as the memories unfolded tonight.
Ushijima Wakatoshi was at peace with the life he had now. He was doing well career wise and he was about to marry the love of his life.
He was so lucky.

Summary: You get more than what you bargained for during your friend's bachelorette party weekend.
A/N: This is loosely based on a true story...with some embellishments, obvs 😅 Anyway, if any of you ever get a chance to go to Magic Mike Live in Las Vegas--it's a good time 😏
The visual is Esquire!JK or ON!JK during MAMA practice 👀 The song during the lapdance scene is Jodeci's Freek'n You ; while the title was taken from Ro James' song. I've been really inspired by a lot of slow jams lately so--get all those body rolls in!
Five pairs of heels hot-footed their way through the marble floor. You and your friends rushed through the final course of your dinner and hopped into a rideshare hoping to make the scheduled show.
“Shit…is it this way?” Your friend, Leia, calls past her shoulder while you all walk aimlessly around the casino floor.
“I’m pretty sure,” Myla says unconvincingly while looking through overhead signage for directions to the theater. Still, you follow her lead as she speed-walks through the crowd.
“A-ha! There’s the escalator!” She exclaims. She was here not so long ago with her boyfriend for an anniversary trip and reported back as they did an advanced ‘walkthrough’ of where the show was located.
The show in question was supposed to start at 7:30 and it was nearly 10 minutes past that time after you all practically jogged toward the rideshare pickup area. You kept glancing at your phone’s clock…you knew you’d be late. You just hoped that you didn’t miss too much when you finally arrived at the door.
“What if they give away our spot? Or worse, what if they won’t let us in?” Yuna asked in a panic while trying to adjust her “Bride-to-Be” sash around her shoulder and waist.
“And why would they do that? We paid for these tickets last month!” You reasoned.
“Exactly,” Divya agreed. “We all paid to see these men grinding shirtless onstage, damn it and nobody will get in the way of that!”
“Fuck, I shouldn’t have worn these heels,” Yuna curses when you all step onto the escalator.
“Girl, don’t worry–you look hot! When you get picked to go onstage, Soobin will be sorry he let us take you on this trip,” you giggled.
Yuna scoffed. “Well, regardless…I would have gone anyway!” Her comment elicits laughs from your whole group as you finally arrive at the door.
While the usher scans the tickets from Myla’s smartphone, Yuna leans in and whispers in your ear. “And how do you know I’m getting picked? Did you pre-arrange something?”
You cocked an eyebrow at her. “Maybe,” you mumbled then laughed as the staff guides you through the doors with his flashlight pointed to the ground.
******
You walked into a dimly lit room and were greeted by loud shrieks and whooping from audience members. You could understand why.
At center stage were 10 dancers, who were currently taking their shirts off seductively to reveal their signature washboard abs.
One of them catches your eye. He had his hair pulled back in a bun, revealing his sharp jawline. He revealed a full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm so it was easy to spot him in the crowd.
You’re so distracted by him that you trip over your feet, nearly falling onto Leia, who was walking right in front of you.
When you arrive at your table, you find two girls who had taken over your seats under the assumption that you were no-shows. The usher tries to reason with them but one of them is dismissive. Divya steps up and mouths something inaudible. She had a smile on her face but your best friend was a firecracker and you know that she didn’t sweet-talk those girls into getting out of your seats.
They finally, begrudgingly get up and move to their actual seats, which were located at a spot that had an obstructed view.
They grumbled under their breaths but Divya just smiled and waved at them. She turns to you and laughs, “What did I tell you? Nothing and no one will get in the way of me watching hot, sweaty, half-naked men grinding for me!”
You laughed and then eventually join the crowd in screaming as the female emcee introduces the next act of the show.
******
“Hey, gorgeous! Can I bring you up for the next number?” The emcee approaches your table, addressing Yuna, who had a white, bedazzled veil pinned in her hair.
She nervously looks back at your group, and then at you–who was responsible for organizing this ‘excursion.’ You all screech in excitement, goading Yuna, who screams her agreement.
The emcee takes her hand and guides her to the opposite side of the stage.
Minutes later, the music starts and the spotlight comes on. A dancer glides across the top of the bar. It wasn’t a fully-functioning one–just another flat surface that served as a stage.
Even though his face was obscured by the baseball cap that he wore, his sunshiney smile was unmistakable and contributed to his sexiness. After a few flips and smooth spins from him, more lights come on and your group screams when you spot Yuna, who was sitting at end of the bar.
The dancer kisses her hand and brings her closer. A fellow performer hands him something in his hand, which you realize is whipped cream after he pipes a bit of it into his mouth.
More squealing from the audience when he pulls her in closer and proceeds to peel his shirt off.
He gently wraps his hand under her knees and gently brings her legs up. Slowly, he lays her flat on the bar much to everyone’s delight, and does more of his dance, grinding his hips above her. He picks up the whipped cream and squeezed a little bit on her exposed thigh and licks it off.
Next, he crawls up higher, squeezed a little bit of cream on her cleavage, and seductively licks it just the same.
For his final act, he pulls on her arm to where she was sitting upright, where his bare chest is right in front of her. The song is about to fade out and he pipes a strip of cream at the center. He wiggled his finger at her to beckon her closer, and she does. You watch her lean in and stick her tongue out, just in time for the lights to go dark.
Your group and the rest of the theater go crazy.
******
After another group dance wraps up, the lights dim again and they switch to a combination of red and blue shades. The music starts to play–starting off with a brief sound of rolling thunder fading in through the speakers followed by the first few notes of the song.
I wanna freak you…were the words that echoed to the deep thump of the bass.
A few dancers sauntered out of different corners of the theater and some were coming down the steps that connected from the second-level balcony. They were dressed in black underwear and not much else. All of them were carefully scanning the room for a target.
The emcee announces a reminder, one that she’s made all throughout the show. “Remember, everyone–if you don’t want any attention from our boys, just say the safe word: ‘unicorn’ and they’ll move on with no questions asked!”
This was a free-form portion of the show where random members of the audience may get a lap dance.
When the beat dropped, spotlights were trained towards each dancer and whatever section they were in, grinding and body-rolling into consenting audience members.
Everyone, including your group, gets on their feet, screaming and cheering, hoping to get one of the dancers’ attention.
“I want that one!” Myla pointed at one of the taller dancers who was two tables down from you. “I want him to drown me in those dimples!”
“Not if I get him first,” Divya contests, putting two fingers between her lips to let out a loud, high-pitched whistle.
You laughed while your friends argued over which hot guy they wanted to dry-hump then. You briefly turn away to reach for your drink.
After taking a sip, you hear a voice calling from behind you.
“Hi.”
Your group was so distracted by one side of the theater that you had forgotten that all guys were making their rounds in both levels, and all directions.
Even in the dimly lit theater, you instantly recognize him by his full sleeve of tattoos. It was the same guy who had been trading glances with you as soon as you sat down for the show.
“Uh…h-hi,” You stutter as he approached you.
“May I?”
Your eyebrows lift when he asks for approval to dance for you. The ladies next to your table are screaming, begging for his attention but he doesn’t hear them. At this moment, his attention was solely on you.
“You may.” You smiled as the girls next to you looked deflated.
Your approval earns you his best panty-busting grin. He then scoots your chair toward him and swings his right leg over to your left side so his crotch was hovering over your thighs. Your girlfriends start screaming when he begins to roll his hips.
He takes your hands and brings them up to rest them on his well-sculpted pecs. Then, he proceeds to guide them painfully slowly down his chest. You close your eyes briefly on contact. His skin felt soft and smooth, and his scent was this dizzy mix of sweat and cologne.
“Eyes up here.” You vaguely hear his command and you obey accordingly.
You look up to see him looking down at you. The POV perspective was not lost on you. Here was this insanely gorgeous man, grinding up on your lap while your hands were on his bare chest.
Tonight, you got my time Tonight you won't be sorry Tonight, you got my mind What must I say? What must I do? To show how much I think about freek'n you
When your hands got to his waist, he guides them backward, where he rests them on his ass.
You and your girls pre-gamed back at the hotel before heading down to the theater. Coupled with the drinks you had at dinner, you were feeling bolder than usual.
You give him a gentle squeeze, followed by a playful smack. Leia sees what you did and it makes her scream louder, egging you on.
His eyebrows quirk in surprise but he chuckles softly. Without missing a beat, he grinds some more, subtly moving in closer to you…so close you could feel his breath on your cheek.
“You’ll pay for that,” he whispers darkly in your ear and continues to undulate his hips.
You laugh and decide to tease him back. “I really hope that you’d make me,” you countered. With the knowledge that you were never going to see him again, it was an empty challenge.
He smirked then slowly backed away. “I’ll remember that,” he gave a wink before sliding off you. He brought your hand up to his lips, kissed it, then moved on to a different section of screaming audience members.
When he leaves, Yuna grabs your shoulders, shaking you as she shrieks her excitement at your face while Myla, Divya, and Leia give you high-fives.
*****
Two acts later, the lights come back on onstage and one chair, placed on one side comes to view.
“I know I’ve said this multiple times but in this show, we are all about getting your permission here.” At the emcee’s announcement, a dancer comes up onstage. He had a soft, innocent-looking smile but the crinkle on the corners of his eyes showed a hint of cheekiness.
A woman with a ‘birthday girl’ sash is ushered onstage by a different dancer who had a smoldering look. He also looked sexy as hell but the bandana he wore as a headband to get his hair off his face gave him that little bit of a boyish charm.
When the smoldering guy gets off the stage, the cheeky dancer greets the audience member and beckons her to sit on the chair propped onstage.
Once she settles in, the song swells. The singer croons about asking permission from his significant other to give him the green light.
“Everyone, let’s welcome ‘Sasha!’ Sasha, will you give Jimin permission?” The emcee asks.
When she nods enthusiastically, he smiles at her and brushes his thumb to his lips before he begins his routine. He starts off slow, seducing the birthday girl with a few caresses on her cheek. He then carefully peels his shirt off before getting on her lap to grind on her.
The crowd eats it up and the woman is completely enthralled by the rest of his routine.
While everyone’s eyes are glued to the stage, a different dancer, taller and leaner with the plushest lips approaches you.
“Hi, will you come with me onstage?”
You were surprised to be picked a second time but maybe these guys lose track of whoever they give lap dances to during the show.
You were about to decline when Yuna screams, “Oh my god, yes, YN!!! Pick her!”
The dancer smiles and you relent, thinking that this was just a lucky night for you.
As you are ushered toward the stage, another chair is propped diagonal from the woman who was already there. Was this a double act? You weren’t sure.
“What’s your name, honey?” The emcee asks, pointing the microphone to you.
“YN,” you answer.
“Alright, YN! Will you give Jungkook permission?”
You whip your head around underneath the blinding stage lights, trying to identify this ‘Jungkook,’ to no avail. Then, thinking there was no way anything could go wrong, you absently shrug your shoulders and say, “Y-yes.”
You sit down as soon as the chorus fades into the next verse of the song and you feel an arm caress your shoulder. You turn your head and once the glare of the spotlight fades, your eyes widen at the sight of the same tattooed hottie, now dressed in a pair of jeans and what looked like a tear-away shirt.
Jungkook pushes your knees together and just like the first time, dances on your lap. He cupped your nape and leans in, which sends the audience into a frenzy.
Still, in a state of shock, all you can do is laugh nervously while he goes about his dance. He tears his shirt open, hands roaming over his chest and cupping himself, his hips perfectly timed with the beat.
He does a synchronized choreography with Jimin, where they switch off partners briefly so you have the other dancer grinding on you for a few bars of the song.
You were in awe of the routine. It wasn’t trashy or remotely corny. Even the way they stripped their shirts off was beautifully synchronized. It was all seductive and designed to stimulate your senses.
You’d gone to another adult male revue show once, a few years ago and even though you had a fun time, you felt that it seemed a bit old-fashioned. Not only were the men terrible dancers but the show was formatted to focus on them.
This show was different. It felt more interactive and more focused on the audience.
Every dancer there, looked as if they were all asking you what you wanted and were fully intent on giving it to you by the end of the night.
Not long after, Jungkook gets up and speaks into your ear again. “I need you to put your arms around my neck and your legs around my waist. It’s all part of the routine,” he says hastily.
“W-What?” Your pulse raised. You didn’t see any hint of this act within the customer reviews.
He cocked his head to the side and uttered, “Time to pay up!”
In a flash, he lifts you off the chair, making you instinctively grab onto his neck for support. He smacks you in the ass, making you yelp in surprise.
You were subconsciously grateful that you decided to go against the mini-dress and instead went with black jeans and a mock-neck fitted top, lest you suffer some sort of wardrobe malfunction.
He carefully lays you on the floor, gently pushing your knees apart–and at the drop of the beat, dips his head to your center, and grinds his hips against the floor.
The crowd goes wild when he rises to his knees, takes your ankles, holds them straight up with one hand, and grinds into you. He puts them down, hovers over you, and flips his body around in a 69 position with you.
Deafening screams fill the entire theater, making your eras ring.
The last thing you remember before your vision blacks out is seeing Jungkook’s shit-eating grin with pink paper bills falling around you like confetti.
******
“Oh my god! Thank you, guys, for planning this,” Yuna gleefully says to your group. “This is the best bachelorette ever!”
You snorted. “Shit, I hope it’s the only one you’re planning on having.”
“Ugh, girl! You know what I mean!” She laughed, then hugged you tightly. You all file out of the theater and take group photos, thanking the nice stranger who offered.
“Man, those guys got me so horny, I might drunk-dial my man for a little action,” Divya blurts out.
“Whatever you decide, do it in the walk-in closet, please,” Leia says.
“Speaking of horny–how bout that one guy hitting up YN twice?!” Myla teases, making the other girls pile on you.
“Guys, stop!” You wave them off. “He’s just doing his job. It’s not that deep.”
“Oh, I can tell–he really wanted to get deep into you,” Divya and Myla high-five each other.
“Whatever,” you shook your head. “Do you all still want to hang around here or head back to our hotel? I got us on the list at the club there. What do you want to do, Miss Bride-to-Be?” You turn to Yuna.
“Eh, let’s head back,” she shrugs. “Besides, I need to change out of these fucking heels. My toes are about to fall off!” She winces as you all head to the rideshare pickup area. “And then we’ll head into the club to get fucked up!”
“Hell yeah, ladies’ open bar for the win!” You yell out.
“Sheesh, I’m freaking starving. I’m thinking of heading straight for the crab legs and prime rib,” you say to Myla while your group stood in line to check in for your brunch reservations.
“At 10:45 in the morning?” She says with a quizzical look.
“It’s a buffet, My. They serve everything once it opens.”
After crawling back up to your suite a little after 2AM this morning, it was a shock that your whole group managed to wake up and get ready in time to make your way to the buffet at your hotel.
“I don’t know about you guys but I’m down for bottomless mimosas,” Divya remarks.
“Me too,” Yuna says.
Leia, who just handed her credit card to the cashier turned her head to address the rest of you. “Me three! Also, I’m pretty sure I had a dream about one of the guys from last night,” she quipped.
You yawn, trying to keep yourself awake while your girlfriends reminisce about your wild night out.
Myla teases Yuna about being so drunk that she wanted to Facetime-sex her fiance, Soobin, from the club’s bathroom. Unfortunately, she passed out from having one too many shots. Sometime in the middle of the night, she apparently admits to dry-humping Divya, whom she shared a bed with last night.
Yuna embarrassingly apologizes. “Girl, if you wanted to dry-hump, you could have told me. I brought my teenie mini on this trip,” Divya says, making Myla laugh out loud.
Leia’s ears start to ring. “Speaking of dry-humping, I still can’t get over the action that YN got last night!”
Your cheeks start to heat up at the memory–you did have a lot to drink last night and may have said some naughty things to one of the dancers. But you weren’t going to see him again so you laugh it off in an effort to move on from the subject.
“Are we still on that?” You laughed. “I mean…fine, it was pretty wild but you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. I’m sure they have to do that several times a night to audience members–based on the reviews I’ve read online, at least,” you say in an attempt to rationalize the situation.
“I don’t know,” Divya says. “He was pumping his hips awfully hard when you guys were onstage!”
“Ooh look at those crab legs!” You exclaim loudly.
That seemed to be the magical word to get the heat off you. Deep down, you wished you didn’t have other plans today since you seriously contemplated seeing the show again. Then again, this trip wasn’t about you–it was about celebrating Yuna and your friends who wanted to indulge in a wild weekend, without spouses, kids, or significant others.
******
With two plates full of meat and seafood, you carefully make your way back to your table. But you abruptly stop when you notice staff setting out some braised pork belly.
“Dee!” You call out to Divya. “Help me get a plate!”
She stops to turn to you only to say, “Do you see how full my hands are? Just come back for it later.”
You let out a pathetic whine when you see several patrons grabbing one plate after another.
You curse under your breath, torn between abandoning one of your plates to pick up some pork belly.
“Need some help there?” A male-sounding voice asked.
You whip your head around in confusion. Your mouth falls open when you see who was offering to assist you.
“Uhm–h-hi,” you say to the same man who gave you a lapdance and essentially dry-fucked you onstage in front of hundreds of people.
******
It was like a scene out of a movie. A bunch of male entertainers randomly running into a party of women who were in town for a bachelorette party, at a buffet–out of all the other buffets this city had to offer. You couldn’t have planned it better yourself.
Your parties pushed your tables together as chatter flowed casually. Jungkook sat next to you while his buddies, Jimin, Namjoon, and Hoseok chatted away with your girlfriends.
“How long are you in town for?” He asks you.
“We’re leaving tomorrow.” You answered.
His face faltered slightly. “I see. Early flight?”
You shook your head. “No, after lunch. Some of my friends will probably need some time to recover. They plan on staying up all night, trying to tick all of the boxes for this trip,” you laughed.
He laughed as well. “That’s cool. And a buffet is on your checklist?”
“Of course,” you smiled. “What about you? Do you hang out at buffets during the day when you’re not grinding your hips up at customers at night?”
He threw his head back and guffawed. You thought the way he wrinkled his nose when he laughed was adorable. “I mean, the food’s good here and they have the best selection out of the other places.”
You nod your head at his response.
“I’m glad to run into you, though,” he whispers in your ear, making you chuckle.
“Do you always say that to everyone you’ve given lapdances to?”
“No, because I almost never run into people I’ve given lapdances to,” He smiled, pushing some errant strands of hair away from your face.
You weren’t sure if he was full of shit or just being cute. Scratch that–you were sure about one of those things.
You laughed. “You’re cute.”
“Thanks. I think you’re cute, too.”
******
After brunch, your group didn’t have any solid plans before your reservations to The High Roller, a fancy Ferris wheel where groups of adult parties could avail of the open bar privileges in each pod.
One thing led to another and the next thing you knew, your group invited them for a bit of fun this afternoon.
Namjoon, the one whose dimples Myla wanted to drown in, suggested checking out the Seven Magic Mountains, an outdoor art installation in the desert which was a bit of a drive away. Since the strip was really more fun at night, exploring away from it was a welcomed idea.
You all head to the hotel’s parking lot to call for a rideshare when Jimin stops to check his weather app.
“Damn, the weather report says it’s going to rain,” Jimin remarks.
“What? But it looks so sunny out, though?” Hoseok countered.
“If it’s going to rain, I have another idea of what we could do indoors!” Namjoon pipes up. He suggests an indoor escape room at the next hotel. They also happen to have relatively cheaper casino games compared to the one at your hotel.
Everyone is in agreement until you realize that you planned to go back up to your room to take your jacket and change out of your bottoms.
“Sorry guys, I need to go back up to the room to grab a couple of things. I’ll come back down as fast as I can!”
“Need any help?” Jungkook offers.
Your girls start to snicker amongst themselves and you grow flustered.
“You don’t need to do that. I can find my way back,” you smiled, starting to walk back to the elevators.
“Right, but just in case you all decide to go on ahead to maximize time, at least you’ll have a local guy to show you around?”
You roll your eyes, thinking you could just humor this guy to stop your girlfriends from teasing you.
You relented. “Fine, you guys can go on ahead.”
“Just give us a call, YN,” Leia calls out, adding a mischievous wink while you and Jungkook walk back toward the elevators together.
When the doors shut and the cab ascends, you both stand on opposite corners.
You exchange looks as the cab ascends. He makes some remark about how much the hotel has changed since he was last here, to which you absently nod your head in blind agreement.
“Anyway,” he says in a sudden switch in subject, “I couldn’t stop thinking about you since last night.”
You gulped just as soon as the elevator dings its arrival on your floor. All you do is chuckle nervously and walk into the hallway, pretending you didn’t hear what he just said.
******
The censor beeps and you turn the door handle to enter the suite. Once you both stepped in, he caught you by your waist and gently spun you around to face him. Caging you against the wall, he asks, “I wasn’t sure if you heard what I said earlier?”
“I did,” you answer simply.
“I meant it.”
“Oh really,” you challenged.
“Yes,” he reaffirms. “Shall I show you?”
“I mean…it’s all empty words to me. Flirting is part of your job, isn’t it?”
He chuckled. “Last time I checked, I’m currently off the clock. So that must mean that I’m not bullshitting you.”
You smiled back at him. Truth or not, he was hot and you wanted to know more of what he was all about right this second. “Well, what are you waiting for then?”
He flashed a grin before he sealed his mouth over yours.
He lifted you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist, smiling through your kisses while he carried you toward the bed. All the while, your tongues continued to lick into each other’s mouths and your hands roved everywhere.
You stumble onto the bed closest to the door and he haphazardly strips you off your bottoms.
“Geez…fuckkk.” your hands fisted the sheets beneath you, Jungkook pinned your hips to the mattress and flitted his tongue against your clit. Your core tightened and your vision blurred while your body settles into the pleasure that his tongue and fingers were so intent on giving to you.
The sight of his dark head between your legs made your pulse thrum, racing in unison with the steady humming that he did against your flesh. You caught sight of your panties on one side of the bed–they were ruined, literally shredded to pieces from his grip, and yet he was still fully dressed.
“I’m ready.” You pushed your fingers into his hair. As much as you relished his oral expertise and would happily lie on this bed all day to enjoy it, you didn’t have the luxury of time. Not to mention that people were waiting on you to simply fetch a jacket.
If those few seconds where you cupped him by the doorway were any indication of what you felt underneath those jeans, you wanted it inside of you sooner rather than later.
“I’ll decide when you’re ready.”
“Come ooon,” you whine. “We have to—holy fuck!“ You gasped at the hard suctioning from his mouth, coupled with the two fingers he slid into you.
“You were saying?” He lifts his head, a cocky grin on his face while continuing to slowly rub the raw bundle of nerves deep within you.
“I want you inside…now,” you mewled while your legs shook.
“You’re so close, I can feel it,” he whispered before dipping his head down again to tease your swollen flesh with the tip of his tongue.
You plump your own breasts and tug at your nipples to get yourself closer to the edge.
“Fuck, that’s hot,” Jungkook breathes out at the sight of it.
You sucked in a deep breath as your climax neared. Even though you wanted his cock to fill you, the urge to cum while he ate you out was stronger.
You let out a breathy cry as you trembled through your orgasm, your back arched off the bed while you rode your high with each thrust of his fingers.
He hovers over you and whispers in your ear, “Atta girl.” His praise sent another course of shivers through you.
Eyes still shut, you groaned. “I’d come harder if you were inside me.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” he smirked. You flutter your eyes open to see him pulling off his shirt. His jeans and boxers followed more slowly.
You push up and lean back on your elbows. It was much more seductive to watch him do this privately…without prying eyes and other thirsty bitches wanting a piece. This show was all for you and you alone.
He straightened from shoving his boxer briefs down, then knelt on the foot of the bed and crawled toward you.
He hovered over you, his hair falling around his face. Tilting his head, he lowered his mouth and lightly traced the seam of your lips with the tip of his tongue. “I’ve wanted to taste you since I first laid eyes on you.”
You dart your tongue out to lick his. “I could say the same about you.”
You gripped his hips, arching upward to try to feel his warm skin against yours. You needed that closeness…craved it, even. And at this moment, it didn’t matter that this wasn’t going any further past the four walls of this hotel suite. You just wanted him.
You catch a glimpse of something squeezed between his pointer and middle finger. He brings it up to his mouth and tears the foil open with his teeth.
He sits back on his heels to roll the condom on while you sit up to pull your top off.
You wrapped your fingers around his length. He moans softly when you slowly pump him in your fist. You lean closer to kiss him, your hand still sliding up and down.
He breaks the kiss for a moment to slot himself between your legs, lining himself up to your center. He cradles your nape to pull you back into a kiss.
Slowly, he pushes into you. That initial contact, the soreness, makes you gasp. He continues to inch his way in, gradually stretching and filling you. Your walls clench around him once he’s fully in.
Your nails dug into firm flesh of his ass and tugged him against you. you didn’t care that it might hurt. If you didn’t get him in you, you thought you’d lose your mind.
Jungkook slid his hand into your hair, fisting it to hold you where he wanted you. “Look at me.”
You stilled at the command in his voice. You stared up at him, your frustration melting as you watched a slow, gradual transformation sweep over his handsome face.
His features tightened first as if he were pained. A wince knit his brow. His lips parted with a gasp, his chest beginning to heave with labored breaths. His jaw ticked and his skin grew hot to the touch.
Your hands gripped onto his biceps, anticipation building.
“Fuck me, Jungkook,” you begged–hypersensitivity be damned.
“Don’t need to tell me twice,” he utters before he sinks himself into you.
Your mouth was agape while your eyes rolled to the back of your head. You felt him enter you inch by delicious inch–you could have sworn you’d just cum again and he hadn’t even started to move.
You gasped. He was hard and so, so deep into you. The connection was…indescribably intense.
His hips ground against yours. His entire body steeled, his chest muscles and arms visibly straining as he pulled out to the tip before he slams back into you–hard. The scene was reminiscent of the night before, where you were both in the same position, fully clothed.
Except now, he was actually inside of you…claiming you in every possible way.
You moaned in pleasure while his chest rumbled with a low growl. “Fuck, you feel so good…”
Tightening his hold on you, he started to fuck into you rhythmically, nailing your hips to the mattress with fierce thrusts.
He buried his face in your neck, feeling his hot, steady breaths in your ear. Thrusting harder and faster, gasping heated words that drove you absolutely crazy.
You were so focused on every move, every swivel of his hips, every stroke that had pleasure coursing through your whole body like electricity.
You moaned helplessly, his mouth slanting over yours, capturing it. Your nails dug into his shoulders, leaving a small trail of crescent indents on his flesh.
Another orgasm brewed within you, everything tightening, clenching, squeezing. He shoves one hand beneath your hip, cupping your ass to lift you to meet his thrusts. His cock stroked your aching center over and over.
“Ahh…holy sh–I’m…fuck…” you babbled incoherently.
“Right there with you, YN.”
With a broken sob, you climaxed in a rush. His body tenses, shuddering as his own orgasm rips through him.
He collapses on top, though careful not to put his full weight on you. You both try to catch your breaths, all the while having no clue how long you laid like that. His lips grazed over your shoulder and neck–it was an unexpected soothing moment.
******
“You know, your friends could get suspicious,” He chuckles, pointing to your outfit that was completely different from what you had on when you came up to your room.
You roll your eyes. “I’m sure they have a good idea of what went down.”
“Oh, do they?” He sauntered toward you, his arm snaking around your waist.
“Yeah. We’re all grown-ups here who just want to have a good time,” you answered him.
He leans in closer, brushing the tip of his nose against yours. “And did you?”
“I did, thanks.” You give him a quick kiss on the lips. “Anyway, Yuna sent me a text saying that they’re at the restaurant if we want to meet up. You’re welcome to come if you want to?”
He sighs and carefully pulls himself away from you. “Ah, I wish I could but I gotta get back and get ready for the show.”
You shrug nonchalantly. “Oh okay.”
“I don’t get off ‘til 1AM. Sorry,” he says with regret.
“Hey, no need to apologize. We both got what we wanted,” you say simply.
He nods. “Are you leaving tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” you answer. “Time to get back to reality and all that.”
“Well, if you’re ever in town again…” he says slowly.
Jungkook was cute, but he was just a fantasy. And this was just a one-time thing. You figured that he was just being nice.
“Sure,” you answer him vaguely. “I’ll hit you up.”
He smiled, walking toward you again. “Alright well…have a safe flight back, I guess?” He raised his hand to touch one of your fringed earrings.
“Thanks.”
Sure, he was just a one-time fuck but it was probably going to be a while before you’d forget about him.
He stood there, his face an inch away from you, staring.
“I thought you said you had to leave for work?” You chewed at your bottom lip and stared back at him.
“I did say that,” he whispers while he tongues his lip piercing. While you watch him do it, your body temperature quickly rises to a fever pitch once more.
He swallowed roughly. “Would you think it was incredibly cheesy if I asked for a goodbye kiss?”
What mesmerized you was his big, round eyes and the hint of vulnerability that flowed out of them. You’re not sure why but the thought of that made you want to give him anything that he asked for.
“No. You can have one.”
With your permission, he captures your mouth with his.
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and deepened the kiss. You licked into his mouth, stroking your tongue along his eliciting a low growl from him.
His hand grazes the small of your back and moves lower until he reaches the swell of your ass. He gives it a definitive squeeze, making you jump slightly. He catches you and presses his body harder against yours, while you moan into his mouth.
You’re both breathless when you pull away. He presses his forehead against yours.
“Damn…I wish you lived around here,” he panted.
The yearning in his voice was unmistakable. Under normal circumstances, you would hang onto that, roll around, and coat yourself in it. But as any person knows, nobody expects permanence in this town. And whatever happens here…stays.
You giggled, dipping your head on his chest briefly. When you lift it, you see him smiling at you. “I mean…we had our fun, right?”
He flashed a warm smile and agreed. “Yeah, that was fun.”
******
You both make your way back down the hallway and toward the elevators and attempt to make small talk.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure,” he answers.
“Your performances at the club…do you pretty much stick to the same routine every night?”
He shrugs. “Depends. Sometimes, the emcee asks the audience member to choose a dancer, sometimes it’s random. But we all stick to the same routine with a few improvisations.”
“Ah,” you nodded.
He pushes the ‘down’ button and immediately, one of the elevators opens up and you both step into the cab.
While it descends, you decide to sneak a glance at him only to find that he was doing the same thing. You both burst into laughter.
“Sorry…I didn’t mean to stare,” he says.
“It’s fine,” you smiled.
“So, why did you ask about the performances? Was there a number in particular that you were curious about?”
You shrugged absentmindedly, staring at your feet. “N-no reason. Just making conversation.”
He smirks, crossing his arms over his chest as you approach the first floor.
You shake your thoughts out of your head, keeping in mind that your friends were waiting for you to rejoin them.
You didn’t know why you felt awkward all of a sudden. He’s just been inside you, for crying out loud! And yet, maybe the thought of him being this unattainable fantasy was what prompted you to say the things you had said last night and earlier today…or you were just horny.
You start to rub the back of your neck to diffuse the tension there. Yep…definitely a high percentage of just feeling horny.
Finally, the elevator doors open up and he steps out right before you. Before he gets too far, you capture his wrist and tug him back toward you. It takes him by surprise.
“You know what? I am curious about one thing.”
His eyebrow quirked with curiosity.
“That whipped cream number–”
Before you could finish, he cuts you off. “I remember passing a coffee shop around the corner. He grazes your chin with his thumb, making your pulse erratic. “Maybe we can buy a can from them and I can show you what really goes on after the lights go out.“ He cocked an eyebrow at you.
Your answer is immediate and a little too breathless. “Yes–let’s do that!”

Did Daddy’s unfavorite son get his very own rape room?
A young hockey player angered you.
Lots of people don’t like you. Move your swivel chair. They say you’re ostracized poison.
Your response to me was prohibiting me from seeing my dead cult when this is over. Little absurdist rape-recruit criminal. Shouldn’t you be tantrum throwing or rewatching Fight Club?
For years, regal elegance has trended online. Cheaply achieved. I wouldn’t flaunt performance art to the unsuspecting public on a worldwide platform, for profit, with no artistic entity to sell, with a man who clearly didn’t love me. The stepping back as senior royals to enjoy private life in California is him realizing oh wait the hands-tied, pathological-lying ruse is catching up to me. Don’t get me wrong: they still cash in. British and Hollywood fans have been in a steady decline, thankfully.
In spoiler-filled Xotel Harry, we’ve lifted digital camouflaging for Archillect, Murat Pak, Piers Morgan, narrating English football in UK time, and Elon Musk. Typing martyr today? Soulless. In the meantime, there’s a Tom Cruise marathon of cinema. Syfy. Disney. Animal Planet. I haven’t seen, A Few Good Men, since 1992. Sharp Sorkin dialogue. In minute seven, Tom’s in Washington, DC in a baseball team uniform, Boston Red Sox cap, playing SOFTBALL, and dropping effortlessly hip references to oregano. That’s me! Those are my letters. He did read them. You were 8.
Far from the entertainment business, your family of high principles did this because unlimited access to wealth and privilege can be toilsome. I don’t know what it’s like to be born into such elevated social status. If I cobbled together the trappings of royal life for a babied prince, I’d get that the necessary detachment and trafficking saved you from shocking abuse.

My life has been a little different.
When the British press published cavorting Vegas pictures in 2012 titled, Heir It Is, why are you in a Let’s Get Wild Lauren’s Bachelorette shirt? Are you not admitting to being my older male cousin by proxy, locking up a little girl for arranged marital sex?

Letting Go: 2023
‘Have you taken a look at your old posts?” Yes, sort of, thats kind of what brought me to dig that password out again to make a post. “Well read them again. They’re pretty…inspirational actually. Truly. Just please do it.”
Shape of You/ Ed Sheeran
Fitting 9 people deep into a 5 seater Toyota Fitz at 2 am was not how I anticipated starting the year off. Riding the center console with all the windows rolled up I wondered out loud who the hell was sober enough to drive this thing back to the Aruba Beach Club? Last I recalled we had closed Ricardo's down after slamming over 100 beers in 3 hours, with a unanimous cry from the bartenders, ``You guys broke the record of the most beers ever consumed in one shift.``We’d managed to hit downtown, with chaos tailing closely behind us until open signs flickered off. Someplace between the Ritz and Hilton we huddled on the beach forming a semi circle around a fat Dutchmaster with our fingers cupping the flame of a single lighter. The waves trickled below the pier we stood on as we watched the boats pass between Venezuela and our tiny island of Aruba. Leave it to D-rock to get weed immediately after passing through customs. As a gang of cousins, It was a first for us to all be together overseas. There was peace between us all as we star gazed, except for Tyler filming himself in the background talking about "getting his bag" and "visiting the red-light district". Good Ole Frank shoved us into the clown car half dead at 3 am managing to hit every speed bump he could until we crash landed at the ABC hotel. Jason never made it out of bed the next day and Frank managed to be at the pool by 9. I understand entirely how we are family after that joy ride.

Trips with family are always special and I wish I could have had that same feeling I had cruising down the Aruban highway at 3am as I did in Las Vegas this year for my Bachelorette party. While It didn’t pan out that way that I had pictured in my mind, those that made the journey sure did make me smile. The trip itself panned out so far in the other direction I actually wondered if anyone would give a shit about that one time I had 3 vodka cranberries on a vintage casino tour where I took pictures of the retro shag rugs with cowboys on them and fell asleep by 10pm sharp. It was the same trip in which I got to dress up like a bedazzled flamingo and had all my besties shower me with love, something I can't be thankful enough for. They had the ball literally dropped on their heads and they managed to keep moving forward with my happiness as the focus. It wouldn't have been a "Nicole" Trip if I didn't make a fool of myself at least once. I realized after I got off the elevator that my underwear were in fact tucked into the outside of my shirt with the worst part being I was 100% sober. Despite no one winning thousands of dollars or managing to buy a lap dance we did trek through the desert in a hot pink jeep and that was the highlight of the entire trip.After that, we flew home, we threw out anything that had to do with those that hurt us intentionally and we let that shit go.

The year snowballed, and if I may, I’d like to address the elephant in the room. I’ll save everyone the details but I hope this is the last year of my life I have to experience the sudden violent interjection of a fentanyl overdose once again and the familiar destruction it brings. I hope those reading never have to live with seeing your family crowded around the kitchen window sobbing as you see your uncle bent over, dead on the sofa from a coke overdose.Upsetting and startling to read? Yes, but at least he wasn't found crumpled in a ball on the bathroom floor like his son was. It was of no surprise to receive the news, still tragic no less. It's the one time in my life I wish my intuition was wrong. My mom reminded me I’d called it,emphasizing the need to never tell her in advance when my spidey senses tell me things are going to go south with someone. I had no memory of telling cousin Robert this in January but he wasted no time reminding everyone I knew this would happen before it happened. Jay and I spoke to the officer at the scene on a first name basis hearing “This is the 9th one this week.” It clicked there standing in the rain that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, something I said to Tommy at 9 years old. He was pretty pissed to hear that back then as a 15 year old delinquent. Yet here I am breathing and his ashes are now somewhere in the Moab desert, Schaghticoke, with bitch face and gram down at the cemetery in Cohoes . It was bad enough we buried aunt Ona next to Gram on Thursday but having to go back on Friday to bury Jr in the adjacent plot the following day was just simply too much for us. Maybe we all should have taken those free narcans Grandma Debbie was giving out two Decembers ago that she got from the county jail. But I'll let that thought go.
Way of the Truine God// Tyler Childs
There came a point in the year where pounding the pavement felt like second nature. Work, farm, picking, shows, repeat.Toggling google maps and driving down back country roads into no mans land had me thinking I was pioneering my own adventure.But then standing outside some abandoned house, freezing in line with #27 stuffed in my back pocket I would wonder , is this even fucking worth it? Somewhere close by a grouchy bastard cranked a heater next to me mumbling about the cast iron pan he wants at the sale. “Cheap thrills” Id giggle sifting through some dead person's Attic knee deep in a mouse house. I drove chaotically through the tri-county region slinging antiques, singing reggaeton of all things at the top of my lungs, driving down 787 doing 90 in a 65mph. We trucked car loads of plants to antique shows this year all thanks to Dad, Jay mom and Toni. Success is easy when you have a mini squad of family cheering you on the sidelines, willingly sacrificing Saturday mornings to unload trailers at 7am. I was living the dream and my heart would explode on the good days. On the bad days I’d doubt myself but maybe it was willpower, or just simply my spirit throttling my vessel screaming “ You’ve got this,” but It all worked out the way either way.I let my doubt go.
Just Breathe// Pearl Jam
I understood the meaning of family even more when Jimmy and I were sipping Vodka sodas at the Saratoga Civic Center watching Marissa cross the stage for her high school graduation. Somewhere in between slow sipping and clapping Jen lost her large $1 Mcdonalds diet coke all over the venue floor.Poppy with no hearing aids stood by with judgment in his eyes while I took “Obituary” pictures. He wondered out loud "What the hell is going on," but his voice was lost in the crowd and he couldn't give damn.
Just like we did 7 summers ago, we took that first ride out to college for move in day except this time it was Marissa's turn.We dropped Marissa off at college just two weeks shy of Jay and I’s wedding wondering what would transpire in the two weeks before her return. We conspired how her first term would go over chili and chicken tenders at the only bar in town. I heard alot of bitching about leaving a purse behind a dumpster and “I need a fucking smoke.” between gram and pops. With a black coffee and fresh pack of reservation grade cigs, poppy and I hit the road home from SUNY Morrisville. Believe it or not pops spent the entire two hours chatting about the past in a way I never knew he was capable of. I'll never see him the same way again, and i'm content with it. We started out with “ I dont believe in god so when I'm gone just do whatever makes you guys feel good,” and ended with “ I’m glad we got to talk to Nicole, I really liked it. I still don't believe in God but I believe you speak to my mom in your dreams and I can’t explain that.” It was an entire short novel of everything I ever wanted to know explained all at once leaving me with sentiments of peace.

The pivot towards happily ever after did not commence until walking back up the aisle to catch a drink in my hand. What a magical day we had. Chalking the day up in my mind I anticipated something far less significant than what had actually happened, simply put, a beautiful day. A day that was talked about with anxiety and ten tons of stress for nearly two years straight, amassing to a single day of blissful drinking surrounded by LOVE and all our favorite people. It felt like our own movie premier, except it was the start our "New life". We had a crowd of family stare at us with tears of laughter in their eyes as we shared our first dance to Hootie and the Blow fish’s “Only wanna be with you." If you're wondering it was totally the wrong choice, last minute and we weren't nearly drunk enough to hide how mortified we were swinging each other round and round. Endless bouts of laughter rang throughout the entire night helping to deflect the thought that some of my favorite people in the world weren’t able to be in attendance that day. Despite the potential for rain as my dad predicted, the day was nothing but sunshine and bliss. A few people cried over their ex’s in the corner that I never saw while one guy went fishing in the pond catching a small mouth bass. Shortly after that he managed to drop an entire keg on his head leaving an egg sized welt on his forehead perfectly positioned for his headlamp to rest on. It all came to an end with everyone barefoot, slurring words in the barn at 2 am, muddy from drunkenly falling down the hill that the barn sat upon. With ruined dresses, we ran out of water and woke the next day with black feet and nothing but giggles.

Controversial to popular opinion, honeymoons are not easy breezy lemon squeezy and probably shouldn't be taken immediately after your wedding day unless you're prepared to melt from exhaustion prior to landing someplace thousands of miles from home. I will admit it was pretty cool to ride in a cop car through Newark airport while also being personally escorted through TSA all thanks to Josh. After that Jay and I tumbled fast, hitting EU soil with peak levels of bitchiness letting Mallorca test my zen before even getting there. European mannerisms are something we are still coming to terms with and my Spanish is still B2 at best despite Laura’s constant push for me to do more and be better. "Nico, you can do this, it will be easy, you know this." No one told me it was Catalonian Spanish..
If it weren't for Jason driving on 3 hours of sleep and a Xanax I'm not sure we would have survived the first 8 hours on the island (Ok I would have made it but it wouldn't have been an endless laugh).There is no other person on this earth I could imagine driving a fiat with into a plaza full of people..No one else I could picture driving down a one lane country rode with singing Quavos “Fuel Up” and crashing into a rock wall,forcing me to get out of the car and wave down a local for support. It would have been pretty awesome if a camera crew appeared to remind us of that moment of defeat when I bitchly slammed the car door in jays face, saying “STFU ill fix this,” while he sat defeated from the days series of unfortunate events. That tire was the only thing preventing us from entering an air-conditioned unit and I wasn't going to let my man melt away. Senior Tony came to the rescue after I waved him down through barbed fencing, letting me into his gated home to ask in Spanish for support along with his wifi password. All that to find out the parking break was jammed and our rental house had timed AC of 1 hour a day from 3-4am.
Still,there's no person other than Jay i’d rather crash our vespa with in deadstop traffic just moments before returning the rental. Jay and I are what romcoms are made from. We lived it, we survived and we laughed the entire ride down the one lane mountain rode in one piece. We trash talked the guy with "Love” tattooed on his neck that told jay to never ride a vespa again because he's never been so scared in his life to watch a man ride one like jay.Jay's also the guy I can always count on to make friends with the black girls with the speaker and meet random townies at the bar with. His energy is truly unmatched. Bless his heart for picking me, his one beer queer that pees in dirt parking lots at 10pm on our honeymoon to live with the rest of his life.
6PM en Mallorca/ Eladio Carrion
There would be days where I was simply vibrating with the need to do it all at once and then some on an empty stomach and a few energy drinks. Healthy wasn't on my radar so I suffered the consequences. It shouldn't have been shocking to learn I was diagnosed with HSP (Highly sensitive person) but to be simply put, it felt like someone gave me the answer I’d been looking for my whole life. Jokingly, I now had an excuse for my hangry episodes, dramatic mood drops and inability to tolerate social outings for longer than 2.5 hours before committing an Irish goodbye home to charge my social battery. Swan would say “Hey Nicole, hows your HSP these days,” like an asshole and we’d all laugh at the thought of me actually having a real life crisis and not something I exaggerated. With this revelation I was mildly pissed because it meant Taylor was sort of right in saying I was autistic all those years ago. While she was sneaking cookies in her sock drawer, feeding her 8 month pregnant belly on the o there side of our shared wall, she screamed at me I was autistic because I didn’t care for loud noises or her shitty attitude. On the spectrum or not, I'll let that go too.
Seasons change and things wound down. It's January as I write this with my health intact along with everything else in my mental portfolio. I've stopped hearing from my manager “ Nicole Im worried about your mental health, maybe you should take time off.” and instead I'm hearing from those around me “Congratulations" and "you should feel so proud." I am proud actually, its a new feeling. I learnt a lot of lessons this year but ultimately it boils down to one simple message that applies to every facet of our existence: Light & Love. Thats it.
As long as youre striving to be as close to light and love as possible, whatever that is for you, then it will all work out in the end. And It really has. My whole life feels lighter just knowing as long as I gravitate towards genuine love and goodness, all good things will follow and come back.
"The whole universe is always about love and when it isnt about love its about the absence of love."

a/n: Hi!!! It has been a hOT minute since I was here. I was just toasting some bagels this morning when this idea popped into my head and I knew I had to write it. Shoutout to bagels for giving me inspo, even though bagels are not in this fic in any way. If you would like to read along to what I was listening to when I wrote, here is the little playlist: “Miracle” by CHVRCHES. “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna, “Hypnotic” by Zella Day and “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. ENJOY! I am super happy to post something again!
“Come on!” Your friends try to flag you over to the dance floor from your very comfortable seat at the bar. You hold up your drink as an excuse and take a sip, letting the bitter liquid burn a path down your throat. They scoff and give you a dirty look, but continue dancing, throwing themselves around wildly to the music.
It’s the night of one of your best friend’s bachelorette parties, and of course, she wanted to have it in Las Vegas. And also of course, your ex boyfriend is the best man for her soon to be husband. And triple of course, they decided to crash the bachelorette party and you have now been watching another random girl grind on your ex for the past twenty minutes.
You take another drink, sighing heavily before turning back around to the bar.
“Long night already?” A voice says from behind you, deep and low.
You swing your head to the side, getting an eyeful of the very tall and very handsome man who has taken a seat at the bar. His hair is dark and straight, waving lightly over his forehead. His skin is pale, clear, and smooth, with eyes so bottomless and deep they almost look black. He is wearing a gray v-neck shirt with dark wash jeans that have rips in the knees, exposing more of his pale skin and you can’t help but notice he has bright red shoes on.
“I guess,” You shrug, taking another sip of your drink and moving it to the other side of your body. Just to be safe.
“I’ll take that it's going to be an even longer one, if your friends are all of the bachelorette girls.” He smiles with his straight teeth and full mouth. “Unless you just wanted to match with a bunch of random strangers for no reason.”
You sigh again, fingering the stupid sparkly sash around your dress with an absent finger. Your friends had insisted on wearing little black dresses and pairing them with ridiculously bright and glittering sashes that say different things. Luckily, yours is one of the more tame sayings, with “Wild Princess” printed on it in big cursive letters. You feel anything but wild. All you want to do is leave and crawl into bed with a book and sleep. Or maybe cry and try not to replay the image of your ex dancing with another girl and not giving a damn about you over and over again.
“I wish I was randomly matching,” You take another drink. “Sometimes a party of one is better than anything else.”
The mysterious stranger gives you a mischievous smile. “Parties of one are great. But parties of two are my favorite. Anything above that is just a crowd.”
You laugh despite myself, nodding along in agreement. Deciding to not sit and wallow all night, you place your hand in the space between you and introduce yourself. He takes your hand and electric currents run up your arms, pushing a shiver down your spine.
“I’m Jungkook.” He says, smiling again.
With his arm out, you can see the beginning of a tattoo curling around his bicep and under the sleeve of his shirt. Your eyes follow it, trying to decipher its long, coiling shape before he pulls back. His eyes seem alive and glowing, their almond shape crinkling in the corners as he looks at you.
You clear your throat. “What brings you here?”
“Oh you know,” he says vaguely, gesturing for the bartender. “Work.”
“This hardly seems like work,” you quirk an eyebrow.
“Semantics,” Jungkook chuckles. “I am in the entertainment business.”
He orders his drink, a clean bourbon, and then turns back to you, a secretive smile on his face. It’s like he can sense what you are going to say before it comes out of your mouth. “Movies?” You can totally imagine him in an action film.
He shakes his head.
“Television?” You guess.
He shakes his head again, thanking the bartender as he slides a drink along the counter.
“Music?” You try again.
“You’re getting warmer,” he leans in closer and you can smell the alcohol and musky scent of him. It’s almost more intoxicating than your drink. “Magic.”
“Magic?” You repeat, stupefied.
“Yes,” he sits back and your head clears. “Magic.”
“Like rabbits out of hats and throwing knives at spinning people?”
He seems to think for a second, as if actually considering your joke as a statement. “A bit more sophisticated than that, but yes. That’s the idea.”
You narrow your eyes at him, turning to face your body towards his. “Show me.”
“I don’t think you’re ready for the kind of magic I have, Princess.” He says slyly, eyes dipping to your sash again. You scoff, taking the sash off and placing it on the bar. His grin grows and he leans back into you.
You swear you can feel electricity sizzling in the space between you two, desperate to follow the high he’s bringing. “Show me,” you say again, a challenge in your voice.
“Alright,” his voice is so low you don’t know how you can hear him over the deafening music and yelling, but it’s as if there is no one else but you and him. “All of your friends are now wishing that they were in your place, when they were making fun of you for sitting here before. You wish you didn’t have to be here, but you are a supportive friend and know how much it would hurt if you left early. Your boyfriend over there is thinking about punching me and wants to know who I am and why you stopped being jealous to pay attention to me.”
You blanch, trying to discreetly look to the side to see the dance floor. You can see all of your friends out there, stealing glances your way in between steps and body rolls. You can see two of them giggling and whispering, wagging their eyebrows at you as they catch your glance. Then you see your ex, no longer with the woman from before, but making his way over from across the floor, his jaw set and eyes blazing.
His angry face.
Your stomach flips, but there is some smug satisfaction in his reaction as you turn back to Jungkook. He seems completely unaffected by your oncoming ex, but is staring directly at you. You think his eyes could burn you from the inside out if you let them.
“What do you want to do?” He asks, his word ricocheting deep inside of you.
“I want to leave,” you say, the words leaving your mouth before your brain can catch up. “Can we go?”
“Of course we can, Princess.” Jungkook smiles, standing up and offering you his arm.
You gather your things and join him, careful to not meet any of your friend’s eyes as you let Jungkook walk you towards the door. Hadn’t they been pushing you to hook up all weekend? Hadn’t they been throwing you at guys and giving guys your number since the party started? And even more because of the presence of your ex?
The thought of him makes you grin and you look back to find him staring after you, clenching and unclenching his fists in agitation. Your smile widens and you can’t help but wave at him as you leave. Fuck him.
You see your friends waving and jumping up and down excitedly, practically bouncing with happiness at the new development in your boring life. Jungkook’s arm is warm and hard around yours, static and heat pooling in the best parts of you. Close up, you can see the black lines and dots of his tattoo, but still can’t make out what it is. Your brain begins to question what you’re doing. This man is a complete stranger. And you’re in Las Vegas walking out of a bar with him. Every single horror film and terrible thing to happen to a woman always starts out this way. You start to rethink your choice, opening your mouth to tell him you’re going back.
“Spend an hour with me,” Jungkook says, snagging your attention and the words from your lips. The night air is hot still, the street loud and bustling with people walking to and fro.
“What?” You furrow your eyebrows.
“One hour,” he repeats. “Spend one hour with me. If you want to go back after that, I’ll bring you.”
“One hour?” You sound like a broken record.
One hour. What can happen in one hour in one of the most crowded places in the United States? You both can just walk around, maybe get some food. One hour only has sixty minutes, after all and on the strip, that time would go by impossibly fast. Not to mention, the last thing you realistically want to do is walk the strip alone or go back into the bar without Jungkook and with your tail between your legs. You know your ex would have a field day and your friends would be so pitiful. Maybe it is about time to get wild.
“One hour.” You say definitively. A statement this time.
Jungkook leans in and you smell him again, musky and hot. “Then, I am determined to make it the best hour of your life.”
His words bring fierce shivers down your spine. What have you gotten yourself into?
Before you know it, your predictions seem to come true. A half hour passes without notice as you and Jungkook walk in and out of hotels, restaurants and bars. Jungkook asks you about your life, your hobbies, and does little magic tricks for you along the way. Pulling pennies from behind your ears and predicting cards before the dealer draws them. You’re laughing and smiling and living and noticing how beautiful he is when he smiles. How dark his eyes are and how you want to stare into them forever. How perfectly his eyebrows frame his face and how his cheekbones and jaw make him seem carved out of marble.
“Have you ever thought about playing?” You ask him after you exit Caesar’s Palace. He had correctly guessed every single card before it was shown on the table and helped one of the players win big. Although it has to be well after 2 in the morning, the night is bustling and alive. Dancers are on the sidewalks in big feathers and bikini costumes, people dressed as Disney characters and superheroes are posing for pictures, and tourists are drinking and laughing and mingling with one another.
“No,” Jungkook laughs, secrets in the sound. “I don’t need money.”
“Doesn’t everyone need money?”
Jungkook looks at you, tilting his head to the side. “There are things money can’t buy.”
“Like what?” You ask.
“Purity,” Jungkook responds. And the answer is so weird you stop walking.
“Purity?” You put your hands on your hips, half mocking him. “Like chastity?”
Jungkook moves close to you, looking down at you with those deep and confusing eyes. Your lips are part of their own volition. You want to kiss him. You want to do a lot more than kiss him.
“Not chastity,” Jungkook looks wistful. Almost sad. “Heaven. The purity of it. When you fall, you can’t buy your way back in.”
Heaven. You think to yourself, looking at this man who seems to be a fallen angel himself. Beautiful and dark and full of magic, real or not, that pulls something buried deep inside of you and brings it to the surface. You hate how sad he looks, how regretful and reproachful. You want to ease his pain, you want to give him a slice of Heaven, a slice of the world, to see him smile and his eyes crinkle again.
And hell, if you don’t want to give yourself a piece of Heaven, of him, as well.
Without thinking, you pull him into an alley between hotels. The night is hot and starless, the smell of sweat and alcohol and lowered inhibitions in the air. You don’t feel fully in control of your body, letting instinct guide you and Jungkook into the dark narrow street.
“Time is almost up,” Jungkook reminds you.
You growl in response, not even sure you know how to make such a sound. Not sure where this all consuming emotion has come from. “I don’t care.”
Reaching out for him, you slam your bodies together and crash your lips onto his. You fit together perfectly, like two pieces of a long lost puzzle you didn't even know you’d been trying to solve. You push Jungkook’s hair back, catching a glimpse of small stud earrings in his ear. The jewelry is extremely sexy and you feel even more eager than you did before to feel him.
Taking more control, Jungkook pushes you back until you hit one of the walls. You can hear the laughter and sounds of people around you on either side of the alley, walking up and down the strip and drinking. It would be so easy for someone to look in and see you both, obviously involved in much more than an innocent kiss.
He touches you and you feel like you might break a part into a million little pieces. His touch is shocking, little fires trailing behind his fingers as they roam down the bare skin of your arms. Your back arches into the stone behind your head, a moan ripping from your throat when his fingers graze the skin of your neck. Jungkook is watching you with a feral gaze, licking his lips before leaning in to run his lips and teeth over your throat. You grip the front of his shirt, desperate to feel more. To feel everything.
Jungkook crowds you closer to the wall, aligning his body to press against yours. You can feel the rises and plains of his muscle and frame through your thin dress. Your breasts peak with anticipation, a tingling sensation building low in your stomach. Jungkook hooks his hands around your thighs, the feeling of his bare skin on yours eliciting a string of curse words from your mouth. You’re ready to beg him to touch you where you need it.
Luckily you don’t have to.
Once he has you firmly against the wall, with your legs hooked around his midsection, he curves his arm around your leg and lets his fingers graze you. There is nothing blocking his touch and the contact and slickness of you seems to shock him.
“No underwear?” He nearly growls.
“It’s a matching thing,” you all but pant.
“It’s a naughty thing, Princess.” Jungkook responds, pressing his thumb directly into you. “How could I not tell before?”
You ignore his statement, aware that you’re unable to question anything he does right now. His thumb begins to move and you moan, burying your head in the crook of his neck to muffle the sound. Jungkook’s other hand weaves through your hair, pulling you back against the wall so the sounds you emit echo against the narrow alley walls.
“I want to hear you,” he commands.
“But the people,” you begin to protest, knowing that even you don’t care.
“They can’t hear or see us,” he responds, a grin carving a wicked look to his features. “Like I told you: magic.”
Without warning, Jungkook slides two fingers into you, dragging the longest and deepest sound from your throat. Your hips are trying to move, begging for more friction, but he won’t give it to you. He has his body flush against yours on the wall. In complete control. You fucking love it.
His hair curls with sweat, the strands sticking to his forehead. The moisture seems to make him sparkle and glow. Like an angel on Earth. Maybe a fallen angel. He curls his fingers and strokes you, your walls clenching around his fingers with delicious pleasure.
“Shit,” he curses, sliding his fingers out. “I need to be in you. Now.”
You whine in agreement, the intensity in his words making your toes curl. Jungkook reaches in between your bodies to undo his belt, long and nimble fingers making quick work on the clasp. You want him to do wicked and horrible things with those fingers, and that belt. You want him to tie you down and make you beg for every lick of pleasure he could give you. Wild desperation begins to build in you. You could cum just from watching him. Just from seeing that pink tongue of his lick across his lips.
“Jungkook,” you groan, watching him pull his cock out.
The rational part of your brain is aware that you are both in public, with hundreds of people walking by the alley every minute. The rational part of you is aware that you can get arrested for this. That this is dangerous and irresponsible on so many levels. But the louder and reckless part of you never wants this to end. The irrational part of your brain believes him, trusts him, and trusts his magic. No one has noticed yet. Maybe luck. Maybe magic. You don’t care.
And then he is poised at your entrance and pushing into you in one, long, thrust. Your moans are incessant, no breath between the sounds. You can feel him at the back of you, you can feel him everywhere, filling you up and intoxicating you.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he is groaning, deep and dark and raw.
He moves again, in and out, following an untraceable rhythm that is setting you on fire. You have never felt this alive before, this electrified, everything is you is singing with approval and building with pleasure. You didn’t know sex before this, you didn’t know how good it could feel before this. How can you ever be with anyone besides him now?
He’s going to fuck you and leave you fucked for the rest of your life.
Jungkook claims you in a kiss, his tongue roaming your mouth. He swallows your moans and sounds with shivers. Your hands reach under his shirt and travel along the rigid muscle of his stomach and shoulders. His body seems to come alive beneath the touch, skin rippling and muscle contracting.
You can feel his large intake of breath along your lips. You don’t think you’ve heard him sigh until now, or breathe at all for that matter. It’s like he has never taken air into his lungs before you touched him. And now you can’t stop. Your fingers are everywhere as he continues to fuck you. Wild. This is wild.
“Don’t stop,” you beg, breaking the contact of the kiss for breath.
Jungkook’s eyes are touching you as they roam around your face, down your neck and collarbones, over your breasts and stomach, until they settle on the point where your bodies are joined. His skin is slick with sweat. His eyes are burning with passion. The muscles of his back and taut, signaling he feels as close as you do to release.
He reaches between you and begins to rub your clit in small circles. That’s it. You’re gone. You’ve sunk so deep, you know there’s no coming back. You splinter and break a part around him, milking his cock with tight spasms until you feel him cum, as well. You cum for what feels like forever, moaning and writhing and shaking at his touch.
Jungkook’s teeth are grazing at your throat and he bites gently. You think you’re going to cum again, moaning and arching up to give him more access. He’s still in you, despite the cum you feel dripping around him and coating your thighs. Jungkook’s lips curve up and he pushes his teeth deeper into the base of your throat. You feel a sharp sting and then warm, hot blood is dripping down your collarbones and between your breasts. Jungkook lets out a gasp as your blood fills his mouth, swallowing the thick liquid like he’s a man dying of thirst. His eyes are glowing, his skin is glowing, and you swear the tattoo on his arm stretches itself out, like it's waking up after a long sleep.
“You,” he says, capturing you in a long searing kiss. You can taste your own blood. You can taste your own desire, still throbbing deep and low after he’s satisfied you. “You are my princess.”
And then, just as quickly as you were there, you’re gone. Swallowed up by a black so endless and so deep you’re not sure you’ll ever resurface. Like realizing you’ve sunk too far in the deep end of the pool and wondering if you’ll make it out. Like falling asleep and hoping you don’t wake up. And consciously, dangerously, eerily, like the color of his eyes.
You’ve met Satan on the strip.
And your hour is now eternity.

Since you said we can send in request😄 how about a bachelor party for Steve and reader. Full of fun and romance.
bottoms up
summary: steve tells you all about his wild bachelor party.
word count: 1.2k
warnings: excessive drinking, terrible decisions, fluff, basically a crack fic, i barely use dialogue tags in this so you’re just gonna have to guess who’s talking
author’s note: this was supposed to be a drabble.
you can find my drabble masterlist here and my regular masterlist here <3
It had been a long, exhausting weekend of celebration. Of course, it was exhausting in the best way possible, but between the extensive spa days, bar hopping, and seeing more male strippers in one night than you'd seen in the entirety of your life, you were really looking forward to curling up in bed with your fiancée.
It seemed Steve was feeling similarly to you, as he was already pajama clad and sprawled across your bed by the time you arrived home.
You quickly freshened up and joined him on the mattress, slipping under your duvet and cuddling up to Steve.
“How was your weekend?” Steve asked, rubbing circles on your back.
“Exhausting. I could probably sleep for years.”
He chuckled softly at your statement, “well, don’t do that. Wanna talk about it?”
“I’ll tell you over breakfast tomorrow. I don’t think I have the energy to come up with the words right now,” you aimlessly played with the hem of his shirt. “What about you guys? Why don’t you tell me a bachelor party bedtime story?”
“It was… a lot. I almost called you several times. Let’s just say that Sam... stopped me.”
“That bad, eh? Tell me everything,” you gushed.
“Well we were supposed to go camping. I don’t know who decided that was a good idea. Actually I do, it was Thor. It took about half an hour before Tony was starting arguments with everyone. I think he was getting moody about having to be in the outdoors away from all his tech, and something about how bachelor parties aren’t supposed to be like this. We didn’t even get to dinner before he insisted that we find a nice hotel to stay at for the night, and go to a club.”
“You guys don’t really seem like campers anyway. What happened after that?”
“I was getting there before you interrupted me.”
“There was a natural lull in your story.”
“Whatever. So we pack everything up and go back out to town. There was some boujee ass hotel Tony knew about and took us there, but there were no rooms. So he was like ‘make room’ and the staff told him that they would try but they just needed a minute. So Buck suggested that we go to the hotel bar, and we did. The only problem is that alcohol doesn’t have the same effect on some of us that it does with others, so Thor had to break out the Asgardian mead. And he had a lot of it.”
“Oh no, I feel like this is not going in a good direction.”
“You’re absolutely right, because one second I’m sitting in a hotel bar, and the next I was half conscious on a private jet.”
“Steve! You did not black out. That’s not very responsible of you.”
“I was peer pressured! Besides, I don’t think I did anything too bad. Did you not get super drunk for at least one night?”
You pondered the question for a moment, “hmm. Go on.”
“So I wake up on a private jet, not like a Quinjet, but like, a real plane. No idea where I am or where we’re going. Sam is the most sober among us by the time I’m awake, but still pretty drunk. Keep in mind I’m also a little out of it. I ask him where we’re going, and he told me Las Vegas. At this point I’m not surprised, but I want to call you to let you know that I’m no longer in New York, and I start to take my phone out of my pocket to call you, and he flips his shit. He grabs my phone and dunks it in a glass of water, and starts saying that if I use the phone on the flight, our flight will crash.”
“You’re joking.”
“Nope. Now I’m phoneless, but I’m not really mad. Honestly, I thought it was funny in the moment. My memory’s a little blurry, but I feel like we laughed ‘till we landed.”
“Please tell me that the crazy events end here.”
“Oh, Sweetheart,” Steve chuckled.
“Christ, Steve.”
“So we get off the plane and at this point, I realize that Bruce must’ve left before we boarded. I don’t even blame him. This trip probably would’ve made me Hulk-out too. Anyway, we take an Uber to our hotel. Our poor Uber driver, he was so starstruck and excited to have Avengers in his car, but like, everyone was completely out of it. And to make things worse, Bucky threw up in the back.”
“No,” you gasped.
“Yeah. It’s only a matter of time before tabloids get ahold of that. Remind me to call our PR person in the morning.”
“Got it.”
“We finally get to this hotel, and I guess at some point while I was blacked out, Tony had booked us some penthouse suite at one of those really nice hotels. I can’t really remember how we got up there, but I know it was a struggle. I was just glad to be able to go to sleep in a real bed. By the time I wake up, I desperately need an Advil and a call home. Unfortunately, I can’t have either, since everyone starts insisting that the best way to beat a hangover is to drink more. To be fair, I slept in pretty late. So it’s kind of a reasonable time to drink now. If you consider time zone differences. That aside, I’m sipping on a beer when there’s a knock on the door-“
“I feel like I’ve heard enough of this story.”
“That’s fair.”
“But I’d also like to hear more. But this is stressing me out.”
“I made it back in one piece, what more do you want from me?”
“I want you to get a new friend group,” you whined.
“Is it bad that I want the same for myself?”
“I think that’s perfectly reasonable.”
“Okay, so back to the knock on the door. I’m getting a little nervous, because I specifically told the guys no strippers. That was just a can of worms I didn’t want to open. And I think there’s gonna be a stripper at the door, but nope. Who opens the door? Fucking Loki. I don’t know why they came, or how they found us, but they were ready to party. Suffice it to say I do not remember the majority of that day. All I can say is that there was way too much gambling happening, and if I found out that Tony is filing for bankruptcy, I would not be surprised.”
“That is… wow.”
“I’ll give you one more thing before you go to sleep. Someone got married to a stranger. They’re gonna get it annulled but.. I did attend a wedding ceremony where an Elvis impersonator was the officiant,” Steve leaned over to his bedside table and turned off the lamp that was dimly illuminating the room. “Goodnight.”
“You are such an asshole! You don’t get to leave me on a cliffhanger like that.”
“I need you to be excited and engaged for when I finish my story tomorrow!”
“Fair,” you huffed and snuggled closer to your fiancée.
“Was it Sam?” you asked after a moment of silence.
Steve quietly laughed at you instead of responding.
“Nope. It was definitely Bucky. I’m right, right?” you pressed.
More silence from Steve.
“No way. Thor?”
His snickers became louder at this, and you gasped.
“I said I’ll tell you in the morning.”
“I don’t like when you keep secrets from me,” you prompted, trying to guilt trip your partner.
“Fine. It was Thor. But that’s all you’re getting from me for now.”
“Oh my god. Why wasn’t my bachelorette party as exciting as yours?”

How to Choose the Perfect Unisex Shirt for Your Las Vegas Trip
Planning a trip to Las Vegas is always exciting, and having the right wardrobe can make your experience even better. One of the most versatile pieces you can bring along is a unisex shirt. Whether you're sightseeing, hitting the casinos, or enjoying the nightlife, Las Vegas Unisex Shirts offer both comfort and style. Here's how to choose the perfect one for your trip.
Why Choose a Unisex Shirt for Las Vegas?
Unisex shirts are designed to fit a wide range of body types, making them an excellent choice for group trips. They make sure you feel comfy and look amazing by fusing fashion with functionality. For a city as dynamic as Las Vegas, a unisex shirt is a smart addition to your suitcase.
Key Factors to Consider When Choosing a Unisex Shirt
Fabric and Comfort
When selecting Las Vegas unisex shirts, pay attention to the fabric. Las Vegas can get quite warm, especially during the day. Opt for shirts made from breathable materials like cotton or a cotton blend. These fabrics allow for better air circulation, keeping you cool and comfortable as you explore the city. Look for shirts with a bit of stretch to ensure they move with you throughout the day.
Fit and Style
The fit of your unisex shirt is crucial for both comfort and style. While loose, oversized shirts can be trendy, consider going for a slightly fitted look that enhances your shape without being restrictive. For a cohesive group look, especially if you're planning a Las Vegas girls trip t-shirt, consider matching colors or themes. Graphic tees with fun, Las Vegas-inspired prints can add a playful touch to your outfit.
Versatility: From Day to Night
Layering for Different Temperatures
One of the best features of unisex shirts is their versatility. During the day, pair your shirt with shorts or jeans. As the temperature drops in the evening, layer it with a stylish jacket or one of the many Vegas Hoodies available. This not only keeps you warm but also adds a fashionable element to your outfit.
Accessorizing Your Look
Accessories can transform a simple unisex shirt into a chic ensemble. For daytime activities, pair your shirt with sunglasses and a hat. In the evening, add some statement jewelry or a trendy scarf to elevate your look. Unisex shirts are blank canvases that can be styled in numerous ways, making them perfect for the varied experiences Las Vegas offers.
Choosing the perfect unisex shirt for your Las Vegas trip is all about balancing comfort, fit, and style. Whether you're coordinating a Las Vegas Girls Trip T-shirt or layering up with Vegas hoodies, the right unisex shirt will keep you looking stylish and feeling comfortable throughout your adventure. For a great selection of high-quality shirts, check out Las Vegas Shirts and get ready to make your trip unforgettable.

OH OH OH WEDDING HEADCANONS PLEASEEEE
Wow. xD You guys are going through the whole lot here, huh! Haha!
This is fun, though, so don’t worry. Feel free to keep them coming.
OK... *Cracks knuckles*
---
Egon Spengler
Stag/Bachelor Party: Wouldn’t want one, but would end up having to admit defeat when the guys arranged it.
Colours: Baby blue, ivory, silver
Flowers: Carnations, cornflowers, greenery.
Theme: None. Themes aren’t Egon’s thing. He’d want it to be serious and dignified.
Cake style and flavour(s): Three tier. Traditional white icing. Matching natural flowers on each tier. Fruit, plain Madeira and Victoria tiers. Bride and Groom topper custom made to resemble them both.
Guests: Egon’s family, Rae’s family, the guys, Janine (Only if she feels comfortable), no one else. Small affair.
Venue: A fancy hall with a glass domed roof.
Time of Year: Spring. Not too hot, not too cold.
Music: String quartet.
Food: Sit down meal serving roast beef. Evening buffet.
Suits: Baby blue, ivory ruffled shirts and silver toned cummerbunds and bowties. Peter would hate it. (Image is the closest I could find)
Rae’s Dress: Traditional style princess with deep plunging neckline and off the shoulder sleeves/straps. Hip length veil with crystals.
Bridesmaid’s Attire: Baby blue a-line dresses
Very elegant and traditional. He’d want it done properly. To a tee. Controlled right down to the last letter.
No nonsense. Anyone who was involved would have to know their places and roles and not mess up
He’d be a bag of nerves and would probably show it through being cranky and then apologise
Everything has to be PERFECT
“Peter. If you make any of this day go wrong, I will personally cram you into the containment unit.”
Quiet, formal affair.
Peter Venkman
Stag/Bachelor Party: Absolutely! Though, Rae would NOT be happy about the stripper.
Actually just elopes to Vegas.
Colours: Red, gold, white
Flowers: Whatever. He doesn’t care.
Theme: “Maybe Elvis, no music... No wait... How about... Circus!” Rae threatens him when he suggests circus because of her phobia of clowns.
Cake style and flavour(s): Cupcakes. Probably with his face on. “Will blueberry muffins from the corner store do? OK fine! Gimmie the fancy schmancy ones with the brandy buttercream and strawberry glaze then. Ooh la la.”
Guests: The guys. “That’s enough, right?” Rae’s family if they manage to get there in time. Though he is tempted to put an ad in the papers to invite anyone until he sees the potential expenses.
Venue: A random wedding chapel in Vegas.
Time of Year: Anytime!
Music: Whatever the chapel is playing.
Food: Fast food joint across the way, or the buffet at the casino.
Suits: Hired tux of red, black and white.
Rae’s Dress: A-symmetric sleeveless showing lots of leg. White. Tacky fabric. Bushy 80′s style veil.
Bridesmaid’s Attire: “Bridesmaid dresses? You think I’m made of money!?” Rae convinces him eventually. She has Janine and her sister to dress after all.
Probably only does it either when inebriated, or because he thinks it’d be fun or a laugh
“It’s just a piece of paper!”
Eloped to Vegas and found one of the first chapels they came across
Rushed, whirlwind, dizzyingly fast
Full of booze, gambling, general debauchery
Peter genuinely doesn’t care about traditions, so he hangs around Rae even before the wedding. “Nuts to traditions. I have needs.”
Disgusting PDA
Tries to make sure everyone gets absolutely blasted, probably ends up so drunk himself the wedding night consists of him snoring like a chainsaw
Winston Zeddemore
Stag/Bachelor Party: “Sure! Why not. It’s all good fun, right? Just don’t do anything to disrespect my girl.”
Colours: Gold, chocolate brown, lemon yellow. That, or the colours of his favourite baseball team if he manages to convince Rae.
Flowers: Yellow lilies, sunflowers and greenery.
Theme: He’s want sporty, Rae wouldn’t.
Cake style and flavour(s): Two tier. White icing, sunflowers and a custom couple topper. Vanilla and chocolate marble cake.
Guests: Various family and friends, the guys of course, Slimer if he behaves.
Venue: Can you say stadium hire with marquee erected on the diamond?
Time of Year: “Summer? Summer sounds fine. Though Halloween has a great sense of irony to it.”
Music: Swing band.
Food: Buffet serving mini hot dogs, small pies, sandwiches, pastries, cold meats, cheeses and various other finger foods.
Suits: Gold fabric, white shirt, navy trousers, lapels and mixed bowtie.
Rae’s Dress: Spaghetti strapped a-line gown with lace and a cathedral length veil.
Bridesmaid’s Attire: One shoulder a-line with sweetheart neckline in gold chiffon.
“OK, you twisted my arm. When you wanna do this?”
Chill event, no pressure
Flowing conversation
Great music
Alcohol imbibed a lot, but not enough to cause problems
Lots of dancing. Lively, full of life and energy
Smiles on every photo
“We throw one hell of a party!”
Ray Stantz
Stag/Bachelor Party: "No... No that’s alright.” Let’s face it, he’d get embarrassed if it was a traditional one, but he might be up for a nice meal out instead!
Colours: Beige, brown, ivory and pink.
Flowers: Cream and pink roses, babies breath, maidenhair fern.
Theme: Country.
Cake style and flavour(s): Three tier. Light pink icing, icing lace, ivory ribbon, with pink roses. Two large roses on top. Chocolate with three accompanying flavours. One tier is strawberry, the other lemon, the last is caramel.
Guests: All of Ray’s family, all of Rae’s family. All the guys, Janine, Slimer, all friends. It’s a big barn!
Venue: Barn. All decked out nicely.
Time of Year: Summer or spring.
Music: String quartet.
Food: Sit down meal serving various meats and vegetari.an options Evening buffet.
Suits: Beige linen, ivory shirts, brown ties.
Rae’s Dress: Lace fishtail in ivory. Long train. Cathedral length lace trimmed veil with crystals.
Bridesmaid’s Attire: Baby pink empire, capped sleeves and sweetheart neckline.
“This was going to happen... I couldn’t see myself being without you.”
Intensely happy event
Happy crying
Full of laughter
Dancing close, cheek to cheek, whispered terms of endearment and sweet nothings
Warm conversation and great company
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Carrying the bride over the threshold? Nah. Rae carrying ray.
Janine Melnitz (Because people have asked for it in the past)
Hen/Bachelorette Party: "Only if I get to pick what we do!”
Colours: Bright pink, cherry red and white
Flowers: Peonies, white roses and chrysanthemums.
Theme: No theme.
Cake style and flavour(s): Four tier. Ombre pink to white icing. Matching natural flowers running up the tiers. All fruit flavours. Strawberry, lemon, raspberry and cherry.
Guests: Everyone who wants to go!
Music: DJ.
Food: Buffet serving fancy finger food.
Suits: Bright pink velvet, white shirts, dark magenta ties.
Rae’s Suit: Opting for a suit, since she’s more comfortable in it. Though, she has to put up with bright pink with black trim.
Janine’s Dress: Bright pink cross strap maxi with chiffon fabric.
Bridesmaid’s Attire: Tea length a-line in magenta. Satin ribbon sash.
Fun, lively event
Janine has been dreaming of her wedding most of her life, so of course she wasn’t going to miss out (Plus, it was the perfect excuse to go on a shopping spree!)
Full of colour and flowers and music
The DJ is ordered to keep the music going for the entire event, no exceptions. (Unless he wants to get haunted!)
“I’m glad we decided to do this.” “Decided? You made it sound like I had no choice, Janine.” “Well... Yeeaaah.”
“NO SLIMER, NOT THE CAKE!”

High Roller - 2
Pairing: Logan Delos x Reader (HCtS)
Word Count: 6843
Rating: M (language, mentions of sex)
Author’s Note: This has been done for a little while, but I wanted to take a break from Benjamin... and give you part 2 of Mr. and Mrs. Delos’ first wedding. Lots of set up, and a lot of VERY happy Logan ... as he should be. (sorry about that cliffhanger....)
Summary: You’re married to Logan and back in your hotel... how will you spend the rest of your first night as a married woman?
“What do you want to drink?” She was speaking loudly into your ear, the sound of the people around you much louder than it had been when you’d left the hotel earlier that night. “The same thing, or-” You raised the glass to your lips, draining the remainder of the liquid from it and feeling the cubes clink against your teeth. Yeah, the same.
“Juliet, let me get th-”
“No. You didn’t get a bachelorette party, so you’re certainly not buying your drinks on your…” She raised an eyebrow, lowering her voice to a whisper and mouthing the next words she said. “Wedding night.” You’d been Mrs. Logan Delos - legally and officially - for just under two hours, signing the marriage certificate and the guestbook at the chapel before taking photos with Logan, Juliet and Mark, but it was still sinking in. I’m married… we’re… he’s… “So what do you want?” You set your glass down on the small space between the slot machines, gesturing to it.
“Another one of those is fine, Juliet, but we can wait until the waitress comes back, she’s been wandering…” With a shake of her head, Juliet stood, tipping her chin toward the bar. “Thank you.”
“Be right back.” Juliet glanced over her shoulder at you as she walked away, but you’d already turned to look at the machine in front of you again, a small smile on your lips. After you’d finished at the chapel, the four of you had decided to head back to your hotel, this time taking the same car. Logan ditched his jacket in the room, and you’d switched out your new shoes for more comfortable ones while dropping off the bag Juliet had carried to the chapel for you, knowing that it would likely be a late night. Despite what everyone thought about Logan - and the way that the two of you were when you were around each other - it had been a simple decision to put off going back to the room together in order to celebrate. Even Juliet and Mark were surprised.
Two hours earlier
After signing the certificate, Logan pulled you by the hand back into the room you’d gotten ready in, shutting the door behind you and pushing you against it without saying a word. He kissed you again - hard - his body pressed against yours without space left between. “You did it.” He breathed the words, lips moving against yours and then sighed, swallowing and pulling back slightly. “I didn’t think… I didn’t ever want…” You knew what he was trying to say, but instead of replying to him you reached up, fingertips tracing over the curve of his cheek before going into his hair and tugging on it, the smile never disappearing. “Part of me believed that… that something would happen, that this wouldn’t…” He sighed again, forehead resting against yours. “But you can’t take it back now, and… no one can…”
“Logan, there’s nothing that would have stopped me in there.” You removed your hand from his head and wrapped both of your arms around him. “And I don’t want to take it back.” You knew he needed to hear you say it. He wasn’t shy about showing you how he felt, but words meant more to him than actions since his words were worth more than anything. “I love you, Lo. I wouldn’t have suggested this if I wasn’t going to follow through.” He pulled you away from the door by your upper arms, his long fingers running down them and then back up, curling around your shoulders. “What?” He was staring at you, dark eyes focused on your face, teeth biting into his lower lip. “Why are you looking at me l-”
“Your dress. I’m glad you didn’t tell me about it, I…” He stepped further away, not letting go of you. “I got you a backless…” He remembered. You’d chosen the dress because the top was similar to the one that you’d been wearing in the airport when you’d left the Bahamas. Both had been backless and halter style, but the first one reached the floor and was multicolored, while the one you’d chosen from the Forum Shops was white and reached only to your knees. “Full circle, yeah?” You felt his fingers stroking the bare skin of your back as you agreed with him, turning your head to rest your cheek against his chest. “You realize we’re gonna have to have another wedding, right?”
“Yep.” You closed your eyes, focused on the way he was touching you, fingertips moving slowly against your spine. “Figured we’d have to do the big one in LA, let someone plan it and…” You sighed, realizing that without even being aware of it, you’d started to rock back and forth in his arms. “Give Logan Delos the wedding that he -”
“This is what I wanted.” His voice low, Logan lowered his head, cheek against the top of yours. “This is all I wanted, and I got it. Whatever else happens… this is what matters.” You were both quiet, swaying back and forth gently. “But…” Logan stopped, saying your name. “I want you to have a real wedding, too. All your friends and family, the… the ceremony of it.”
“That’s not important, Logan, I don’t need -” He laughed, tilting his head back. “What?”
“You might not need it, but I know that it’ll mean a lot for the people that are important to you.” You were surprised by the tone of his voice. “And I want Em to…” Of course you do. “You’re a Delos, and… and people will be watchin’ you, and I don’t care what they think of me, but if…” He sighed, a deep sound - one of resignation that you knew he’d perfected over the years. “If people think you…” He raised his eyebrow, one corner of his mouth lifting in a smirk. “Whisked me away to Vegas and married me in secret, that there won’t be a real wedding, they’re going to make a lot of assumptions about you, and that’s unacceptable to me.” You weren’t surprised that he was protective of you; he’d been that way for the duration of your relationship, but you were surprised that for once, you wanted to agree with him right away.
“Alright, then. We’ll give them their wedding, Logan.” You nodded, taking a deep breath and feeling as he tightened his grip on you. “But before that… you’ve gotta give me tonight.” He agreed, tongue darting out to wet his lips. “We gotta go take pictures, but what… what’s next, Lo?” Are we going back to the room? Are we going out? What does this mean?
“I can promise you,” he groaned, leaning in to kiss the corner of your mouth. “That when I get you back up into that room later, that you’re not leaving that bed until it’s time to go home tomorrow.” Your heart racing, you turned your head slightly, Logan catching the fullest part of your lower lip between his teeth. Oh, oh I… “But I think that before that happens, we should…” He dropped his hands to your waist, pulling you flush against him. “We should spend some time with Mark and Jules, thank them for coming out here and bein’ with us.” I agree. “We’ll go back to the hotel and figure it out from there, if that’s…”
“There’s no rush, Logan.” You kissed him - just a quick one - and then pushed him away from you, reaching down to straighten your dress. “This is just night one.”
---
You grinned to yourself as you reached up with your left hand, rings catching the lights from the other machines as you pushed the buttons to place your bet, taking a deep breath and pulling the lever. Gambling was something that you’d done occasionally prior to meeting Logan - weekend trips to Windsor and Niagara Falls, the Bahamas and even Las Vegas twice - but working for Delos had changed things for you drastically. Your salary increased, your opportunity for travel increased, and you’d gotten better at playing cards, thanks to Logan. While you still had a preference for the slot machines, you were more confident about sitting down at a table, too. Wonder how he’s doing. The reels stopped spinning, and as you leaned forward to place another bet, your mind wandered to your husband, who was somewhere off in the casino, sitting at a blackjack table with Mark.
The four of you had gone to the bar as soon as you hit the casino floor, doing a shot in celebration before splitting up; Logan and Mark heading for the table games, and you and Juliet opting for the slots. You’d gotten to know the woman almost as well as you knew your husband, and were thrilled to be her sister in law - and even more excited that she seemed to want you in the family just as much as her brother did. Juliet had many friends, you knew, but she’d accepted you in a way that you hadn’t expected. “Hey, you won!” Her voice interrupted your thoughts, and as you refocused on your machine, you saw that it was waiting for you to select a bonus screen. Shit, I didn’t… “I’m just in time.” She settled in to the empty seat next to you, handing you your drink, and after thanking her, you reached out with your free hand, pressing on the screen until you’d revealed the number of free spins you’d receive.
Ten minutes - and two hundred dollars won from the bonus - later, you cashed out, Juliet laughing with you as you stood and made your way to the table area. “I don’t want to interrupt him, Juliet, he’s -”
“It’s fine.” The two of you scanned the crowd, looking for the men you’d come with. “I stand with Mark while he plays all the time, Logan will be happy to see you.” I hope so. It didn’t take you long to find them; both men were seated and playing blackjack with a small crowd gathered and watching. Must be a good table. You and Juliet joined the group of people circling the table, and while you knew that she was focused on Mark, you couldn’t take your eyes off of Logan.
He’d pulled the jacket and his tie off before taking the elevator back down, unbuttoning the top two buttons on his dress shirt, and though his hair was still styled, it was a little less perfect than it had been, thanks to your wandering hands. He was focused on his cards, but you saw the smile on his face as he tapped on the table with two long fingers, the ring on his hand a stark contrast to his pale skin. He played three hands - and won two of them - while you watched, the stack of chips next to his right hand growing, but after the last hand was dealt, he glanced up and saw you, his eyes lighting up and the smile on his face growing.
Even though he didn’t wave you over or say anything to you, you grinned back at him, giving him a slight nod before he returned his attention to the cards. “You’re being stared at,” Juliet whispered the words into your ear, looping her arm through yours. “Girl in a green shirt, on Logan’s left.” You waited a few seconds and then turned your gaze where Juliet directed, seeing a young blonde woman watching you. What? “She was staring at him, and then…” Juliet laughed, squeezing your elbow. “Then she saw him look at you.” That’s how it’s going to be, according to him. You thought back through your relationship, realizing that you’d grown almost immune to other people looking at Logan and vying for his attention. You saw it, but it didn’t bother you - and your eyes widened at your next realization. It hasn’t bothered me for a while.
Logan was attractive - almost painfully so - and you’d been his date to enough functions to know that no matter where he was or who he was with, people would stare - and some of them would even try to touch. But he doesn’t act on it. And he won’t. You watched the woman in the green, and without thinking, lifted your hand to tuck hair behind your ear, trying not to wince as you realized that subconsciously, you’d lifted your left hand, wanting her to see your rings. Don’t be that person, you don’t need to be. “We talked about this last night,” you told Juliet, lowering your hand. “Said ‘let ‘em look’ because that doesn’t matter, and we can’t stop anyone else, so…” You shrugged. “She can look at him all she wants, but I’m not … I’m not worried.” She was silent for a few seconds and then laughed, leaning her head against your shoulder.
“God, he got lucky with you.” Did he? “Even with what just happened tonight, most people would be livid that someone was staring at him like that, and you’re just…” She waved a hand in the air, shaking her head. “It’s great that you’re that way, and I’m sure he appreciates it, but …” Juliet said your name, her tone serious. “You’re going to have to remember that… people are gonna be watching you, especially when they…” Her eyes dropped for a second to your hand and then moved back up to your face. “You can’t let people assume that it’s indifference to what he does, because they’ll run with that.” Shit. “You’ll know what you’re feeling and why you’re acting the way you are, but they won’t, and believe me when I say that those rumors? Even when you know they aren’t true? They hurt.”
You’d met Juliet a few weeks after moving to California, freshly married to Mark and back from their honeymoon - the wedding had been two weeks before you’d gotten to LA, basically right after Logan had first called you. You’d been around to see the effects of the paparazzi on a ‘new’ relationship, especially where a Delos was concerned, but hadn’t really felt how ruthless they could be until after you and Logan had been photographed at a charity bar event together and the rumors started. It’s good advice. You told her as much, thanking her, and while you both went back to watching the two men, your mind wandered. The last thing you wanted was for the first few weeks of your marriage to Logan to be tainted with rumors, but you knew that every day you hid the truth from people, the worse it would be when things came out. But maybe they won’t find out until we … Even as you had the thought you rolled your eyes, knowing that there was no way to keep your wedding a secret. We’ll be lucky if we get out of Vegas with no one knowing.
“They’re standing up,” she murmured, pulling her arm from yours. “Must’ve gone on a cold streak.” Your eyes followed Logan as he stepped away from the table, rolling his shoulders back and glancing around at the crowd, the girl in the green stepping forward like she wanted to talk to him. But Logan didn’t even pause, circling around the table and walking straight for you while Mark made his way to Juliet, two people taking their seats immediately. That was quick. Logan reached you first, one arm winding around your waist as he grinned at you.
“You watchin’ me play?” I am. “See me win?” You nodded, waiting. “We’re gonna play poker after we get somethin’ to eat, but we’re going into the high limit room.” What? You’d been into the rooms previously, though only to watch other people gamble or throw a $100 bill into a machine and then leave a few minutes later when it was gone, but you knew that for Logan, the room meant something totally different. “C’mon. Made a reservation for Scarpetta, and now that we don’t have to come find you two, we’ll be early.”
“Wait, so you didn’t go cold?” You stared up at him and Logan shook his head no. “Logan, you didn’t have to get up, you could have kept playing.” He rolled his eyes, and as you stepped onto the escalator to ride up to where the restaurant was, Logan spoke again.
“It’s just a game, I can play any time.” He took your hand in his, fingers linking with yours. “Besides, you’ve gotta eat.” As you stepped onto the flat floor, he pulled you forward. “Believe me.” Oh, I do. The four of you made your way to the restaurant, and within a few minutes you were seated at one of the square tables, a large window overlooking the fountains right in front of you. As you looked over the menu, you felt your eyes widen at the prices, debating over whether or not to say anything about it. No, it’s not like… he’s just going to tell me to… “Hey.” Logan leaned in, kissing your cheek and then speaking directly into your ear. “I know that we didn’t need to come somewhere so nice, but it’s… a special occasion, and I wanted to at least make sure that …” He trailed off. “You’re gonna have to get used to this, Mrs. Delos.” He closed his teeth around your earlobe, biting gently before releasing it and sitting up straight, covering your hand with his on the tabletop. For you? I’ll do that, Lo.
---
The meal was delicious, and even though you stuck to water - along with Logan - it still felt like a celebration. Despite his protests, Logan admitted defeat and let Mark and Juliet pay for the whole thing, the younger Delos pulling the check from her brother’s hand and shoving him back into his seat with her free one. “You shouldn’t be paying for anything today, Logan.” As she laid her platinum card down in the envelope, handing it back to the server, you glanced at Logan, seeing that he was running a thumb over the back of his ring finger, eyes focused on his hand.
“Lo?” You shifted in your chair, leaning over. “You alright?” He didn’t reply at first, finger still moving and then looked up at you, his eyes bright.
“Yes. Better than alright.” He reached over, fingers sliding back against your jaw and then wrapping around the back of your head, pulling you close. “Don’t worry about me.” He swallowed and then kissed you, lips landing against yours, the metal of his ring cool against the skin of the back of your neck.
“You know,” a voice interrupted you, laughter in it. “You guys have a room that’s only an elevator ride away.” You felt Logan groan, tightening his hold on you before he pulled back, releasing you and dropping his hand to the tabletop. “You guys can go upstairs, we’d understand, I -”
“Juliet.” Logan cleared his throat, leaning forward and using his bent arm to prop his chin up on the table, one eyebrow raised. “My wife and I will go to our room when we’re ready.” She laughed at the use of the word ‘wife’ but otherwise didn’t interrupt. “But until then, I promised your husband that we’d go and see the Talon Club and spend obscene amounts of money at the poker table.” Your lips twitched, eyes moving back to Juliet, who was leaning back in her chair, arms crossed over her chest. “You can play too, Juliet, I know how much you love-”
“I haven’t played poker since the last time I was in the Mariposa, Logan.” Juliet’s long fingers ran through her curls, lips stretching into a grin. “And that damn Hector rode in and ruined the hottest streak of my life, even with fake money.” You heard him laugh at her reply, Logan leaning back in his chair, too, his arm going around your shoulders. “And anway, don’t you need an established line of credit to play in the high limit room? We don’t come here enough to -”
“We stopped in before the car came to take us to the chapel.” Mark finally spoke, fingers drumming idly against the table. “Set ‘em up for all four of us, so that we can…” What? I can’t… You didn’t know exactly what the requirement was for the room, but you knew that your salary - although elevated - would have been nowhere near enough to support even a few hands at the table with Logan, Mark and Juliet.
“Lo, I can’t, that’s not…” You turned to him, expecting to see an annoyed look on his face, but instead you saw concern. “I don’t have the…” He sighed, eyes flicking to Juliet and then back to you.
“C’mere.” He stood and held out a hand to you, pulling you to your feet. “We’ll go talk for a minute.” Leaving Juliet and Mark at the table to wait for the check, you and Logan walked through the restaurant and back into the open area just outside, the noise of the crowd reaching your ears again. When you’d made it a few steps away, Logan gestured for you to sit down, dropping onto one of the cushioned benches next to you and pulling you close, your body pressed against his. “We’ve had this conversation before.” He said your name when you didn’t reply, and you turned your head to look at him. “I wanted this to be somethin’ that we could do together, with Juliet and Mark, and you can go into the club without the credit line, but you can’t play.”
What he was saying to you made sense, and you knew that he hadn’t done anything with malicious intent, but it struck you - again - how different your life was from Logan’s, how, even after years of being with him, the financial distance was still in the front of your mind. “I can’t take your money, Logan, I can’t be…”
“Stop.” He swallowed, adjusting his position on the seat and taking your hand in his. “You’re going to have to get used to this, too, especially now. You might not want it, or need it or think that you can use it, but the money isn’t… I can make more money.” He squeezed your hand, scoffing. “I’m makin’ money just sitting here with you right now.” Logan paused. “There is absolutely no way that I could spend all of the money I’ve earned already… and I plan on workin’ for at least another fifteen years, so… you do the math.” You felt yourself smiling, the meaning of his words sinking in. “As soon as we get back to Los Angeles, we’ll be takin’ care of all the bullshit - getting you credit cards issued with your new last name on ‘em, adding you to my bank accounts, putting you on the deed to my place…”
“What?” You froze. “Logan, you don’t need to -”
“No. I do.” He was quiet for a few seconds, watching the people move around on the landing. “You agreed to marry me, and whether this happens now or after the LA wedding, it’s going to happen. You’re a Delos. You’re my wife, and you should get used to havin’ whatever you want and need.” I already do. I’ve got you. “I trust you, and I trust you to be responsible with all of it, and it starts with you sittin’ next to me at that poker table tonight.” Unsure of how to answer him, you waited, thinking.
He knows I don’t care about the money, he knows I won’t… “I’m not very good at poker, Lo.” You finally replied, turning your head to stare at him. “But if I can use that on roulette or craps or even blackjack, I’m in.”
“Yeah?” You nodded and he did too, ginning at you. “You can use it anywhere in the hotel, but I -”
“The few times we’ve been to the park, Logan, I haven’t exactly spent a lot of time playing cards.” He pressed his lips together, eyes full of amusement. “So before I start throwing your money around on a game that I -” But you were cut off by a camera flash, followed by someone loudly saying Logan’s name - and then yours. Shit. He only froze for a few seconds and then stood, pulling you to your feet in the same movement as he took his phone from his pocket, unlocking it and typing quickly with one thumb. “Logan, what -”
“We’re going into the lounge.” He finished his message, phone disappearing back into his pocket as people moved closer to you, still repeating his name. “Need to get where they can’t, and no one’s allowed in the high limit rooms, no pictures in there, nothing…” He was murmuring to you as he took your hand - your left in his right - and pulled you in the direction of the escalator. “Down one floor and to the right.” Your heart was pounding, but Logan stayed calm, standing close to you as you descended, an arm around your waist, hand pressed flat against your abdomen. “They can’t follow us in there, but they’ll probably… some of them will…” He sighed, ducking his head down to kiss your shoulder. “They’ll wait. They’ll see what they got just now and…”
You’d known that the likelihood of getting out of Vegas with no one knowing that you’d gotten married was low, but you and Logan had been sitting on the bench for at least ten minutes, giving the assembled paparazzi plenty of time to photograph you, and you knew that with the way you were dressed, the pictures would be scrutinized even more closely. “They’re gonna see, Logan.” Though disappointed in your lack of privacy, you weren’t as upset as you thought you would have been. “Gonna know that you -”
“That I’m officially off the market?” You stepped off of the moving stairs, finding the sign for the Talon Club and heading for it, his hand rising to ruffle your hair - still tied loosely back. “That you finally made an honest man out of me?” At that, you stopped, not caring who could see, and turned back to Logan, both of your hands going to his face.
“You’ve always been honest, Logan, it’s just that too many people didn’t take the time to learn it for themselves.” He grinned at you and then surged forward, wrapping you in his arms and kissing you hard, lips giving way to teeth, though his hands didn’t wander from your back, and yours only dropped as far as his shoulders. “Love you, Lo.” You took a deep breath when he pulled away, exhaling as the two of you stepped the final few feet toward the entrance, flanked on both sides by lion statues on pedestals.
“Love you, too.”
---
Mark and Juliet made their way into the spacious room a few minutes later, both of them stopping at the bar to get drinks before heading to where you and Logan were standing, eyes on the doorway. “What the fuck was that?”Juliet spoke quietly, draining half of her drink in one long sip. “There were ten people out there with - “
“They saw us sitting down, and they moved in, Jules. I already sent out an email to Marley, so he knows that…” Logan’s lip curled. “One fucking night, I just…” This is my fault. Wait, who’s Marley?
“Hotel security was already trying to escort them out, but it looked like a few of ‘em had room keys so who knows what’s going to happen.” Mark finally spoke, gesturing toward the door with one thumb. “Might as well just play for a while, and then we can worry about it when we leave.” Logan sighed, his arm around your waist, but he agreed. “Alright, what first?”
The four of you saw the teller and got chips, the sheer amount of money you were holding in your hands enough to make you go cross-eyed, but as soon as you made your way back to the roulette table that Juliet chose, you forgot about everything else and focused on the game in front of you, the cream colored felt looking virtually new beneath the multicolored chips that you put down onto it.
You played it conservative for a few turns of the wheel, placing a single chip onto the table and getting a feel for the game, but Logan and Juliet consistently made more expensive bets. Small stacks of chips were set down and swept off the table as the results came in, and though each of you won a few times, you could see how quickly your - Logan’s - money would disappear unless you started winning more often. Slow it down, you can just stand here with him, you… Logan said your name, drawing your attention, and you turned your head to look at him, feeling as the knuckles of his right hand moved up and down over the center of your back. “What’s wrong?”
“I’m just not used to betting this much, Logan, it -” He winked at you. “What?”
“Play. Have a good time. It’s your wedding night, don’t worry about what it costs.” He leaned in, the tick-tick-tick of the ball spinning within the wheel fading. “I’ve been tellin’ you for years this is how it’s going to be, and the sooner you get used to it, the better.” He leaned in, kissing you quickly, and though you tasted the scotch on his lips, you didn’t have a chance to savor it. “Make a bet. Pick a good number.” You glanced at the table, watching as Juliet made a fist, grinning as a stack of chips was thrust in her direction. “See? She’s winnin’, you can too.”
“Alright, Logan, But I’m paying you back -”
“No.” He straightened up, not breaking eye contact, though the look in his was amusement instead of anger. “You’re not.”
---
By the time the four of you moved from the table and decided to play something else, you’d switched your strategy, recouping much of what you’d lost in the first half hour at the table. Logan wanted to play poker, and Mark and Juliet were more interested in Blackjack, so you split up, though since the room was relatively small, you were able to keep an eye on them even as you settled in next to your husband. There weren’t many other people in the room - no more than 30 in total - and you were surprised at how different the atmosphere was from that in the regular casino. Guess people don’t want to get rowdy when they’re losing thousands of dollars a hand.
You were more comfortable at the blackjack table than at roulette, and even Logan was impressed when after a few hands, you’d won consistently. “What, you didn’t think I -”
“No.” He grinned at you, running one hand through his hair. “No, I knew you had it in you.” He spoke openly to the dealer and the other players at the table, laughing and joking with them between hands, but Logan never went more than a few minutes without touching you, a hand falling to your bare leg and squeezing, or his lips descending to land against your shoulder. “Having fun yet?” He leaned over, mouth close to your ear. “You ready to call it a night?” I am, but… “Wanna go back to the room?”
“The room will be there.” You lifted your hand, fingers raking gently through his beard. “I’m almost back to even, so -” Logan laughed, the sound turning into a groan as he sat back up straight, tongue poking out through his lips.
“Have you met my wife?” He put both elbows on the table, leaning in to speak to the dealer. “She’s impossible, turning down my -” What is he doing?
“ I wasn’t aware you were married, Mr. Delos.” The man behind the table looked between you, one eyebrow lifted. “Is this a recent change?”
“It is.” You spoke up, laying a hand on Logan’s bare forearm. “Just a few hours ago, actually.”
“Well congratulations to the two of you.” You grinned too, listening as the other players at the table chimed in. Guess this is getting talked about. “Is there anything we can get you?” Logan cleared his throat, drumming his fingertips on the table, the sound muffled by the felt. “Drinks? Something to eat? A -”
“Actually, I’ve been wondering if it would be possible to get a private table?” Logan straightened up, and you pulled your hand away, grabbing another chip to place your bet for the next hand. “Poker, preferably. I see that there are some empty tables but I’d like to play a few hands with my sister and her husband before we go, and I didn’t have a chance to set that up tonight.” A private table?
The man dealt the cards, remaining quiet, and when it was Logan’s turn, you watched his cards - a Jack and a four, Logan tapping on the table to signal that he wanted another card. He’s going to bust. But you were wrong - it was a five of clubs - and he declined a fourth card, meaning it was your turn. I’ve got an ace. You grinned as you flipped the second one over, laying it out on the table and laughing. Blackjack. Logan squeezed your arm, and the dealer played his own hand, busting with 24, and spoke again as he began to collect the cards and pay the table out. “We can arrange that, Mr. Delos. It will take about twenty minutes to pull in a dealer and get the table set up, but there’s an area around the corner with some vacant ones, and we’d be more than happy to accommodate you.” Of course you would.
“Great.” He turned to look at you, winking. “Haven’t had a private poker table since the last time I was in Westworld.”
--
Twenty five minutes later, the four of you were sitting at a table with a female dealer, who was explaining the rules to you. “It’s fine.” Juliet leaned over, speaking quietly to you. “Since it’s a private game, the stakes are much lower. You’ll learn. And you know Logan’s tell, so it’ll be easier.” I do. It was subtle, but you’d seen it both in Westworld and during the games you played at home - the slight rise of his shoulder when he had a good hand or a good idea or a great tip. It was more of a twitch than anything, and when you’d called him out on it, he’d only laughed, telling you that there was nothing he could do about it, that it had been that way since he was a kid. I see it, Lo. See you.
Despite the rings on your fingers, the dealer was flirting with Logan, though she kept it more professional than you expected. She’s just trying to get a good tip, that’s all. He ignored it, the four of you playing hand after hand - Juliet more than willing to assist you, especially when her own hands were less than ideal. Time passed, and though you didn’t know how much, you knew that you were having fun, your small stack of chips growing by the hand. I’m actually better than Mark. When it was time to cash out, all four of you stayed seated, making small talk with the dealer, who was still eyeing Logan, her gaze lingering on his face for longer than necessary.
“Typically, when you’ve finished playing, we’d ask you to leave the table so that others can join, but we’re kind of slow tonight.” She tilted her head to the side, lips pressed together, though they were still full. She’s flirting, she’s… unbelievable. “Feel free to stay on this side of the wall for as long as you’d like, but if anyone else wants the space, you’ll have to leave.” She continued to clear the table, packing the extra chips into a case and signaling for the guard that had been standing in the corner of the room to come and walk with her as she left. “But I don’t see that happening.”
“Thank you.” Logan glanced down, separating three chips - two yellows and a brown - from his stack and sliding them across the table toward her. “For takin’ such good care of us.” He’s giving her… Jesus. The woman picked the chips up and put them into her pocket, eyes wide as she stared at Logan. “Appreciate it.” We were here for barely an hour, and she…
“Oh, Mr. Delos.” She closed her eyes. “I -” The look in them when they opened was one of sheer gratitude, and you couldn’t help squeezing Logan’s hand, feeling your chest grow tight. He did say he can’t spend it all on himself. “Thank you.” She disappeared with the guard, and the four of you were left in the room by yourself, the faint sounds of laughter and conversation audible from the other side of the Talon Club.
“What did you give her, Logan? That was quite the reaction.” Juliet was still sitting, head propped up on the arm that was draped over the back of her chair. “Even though she was paying more attention to you that whole time than anyone else.” Logan laughed, shaking his head.
“Doesn’t matter. I’m in a good mood, and…” He shrugged. “She was good at her job.” You just gave her seven thousand dollars like it was nothing. “So.” He straightened up, gesturing to the table. “What next? Back downstairs? Slots? The bar? Walking the Strip?” Doesn’t he want to go back to the room?
“I think we’re going to call it a night, Logan, we’ve had a long day, and it’s already nearly one.” Juliet yawned. “And I’m sure the two of you want to -” She cleared her throat. “Head back to your room.”
“We will.” He shifted in his chair, and you felt his hand against your back again, this time settling at the base of your neck. “Soon.” What do you have planned, Lo? “But if you’re going to head back, that’s fine.” He waved his free hand. “Go. Leave us, and we’ll see you -”
“Jesus, Logan, you’re so dramatic.” Juliet rolled her eyes as she stood, bending down to kiss you on the cheek, her hands squeezing your shoulders before she moved to her brother, who stood and wrapped his arms around her tightly before sitting back down. “Congratulations to both of you. I’m so happy for you two.” She stepped back, standing next to Mark. “We’ll see you at the airport, let us know when you want to leave.” Mark shook Logan’s hand, leaning in to hug you, and then they headed out, leaving you and Logan alone in the room.
“This isn’t the wedding night you’ve thought about your whole life, is it?” He spoke from behind you and you turned to face Logan, watching as he lifted his glass to his lips, draining the remaining liquid from it. “No real ceremony, no flowers, no family, no big dress.” So? “Why’d you agree to it?”
“Because I’ve never thought about all of that when I thought of my wedding.” You closed your eyes. “No, wait. That’s a lie.” He laughed.”The dress is something that I’ve always pictured, but…” You traced one finger over the markings on the table. “None of it really matters, especially not with you, and not after all of the bullshit I went through the first time I was engaged.” It was your turn to shrug. “Would have married you in a pair of shorts next to your pool if that’s what you’d wanted, Lo.”
“I just wanted to hear you say it. Again.” He took a deep breath. “Stand up.” You did, watching as Logan rose from his chair too, pushing it backwards and out of the way. “This is the first time we’re really alone tonight.” He bit down on his lower lip, pausing. “What are we gonna do about that?” Alone? There are people right on the other side and there are cameras everywhere. “Hmm?” He wrapped his arms around you, head dropping down and lips finding the smooth skin of your neck. I… “Do you trust me?” Trust you? Of course I do.
“Mmmhmm.” You sighed, combing your fingers through his hair as his lips continued to move against your skin. “‘Course I do, Lo.” His hands were at your waist, both thumbs digging in as his teeth grazed your throat. “Logan, what are -” He pulled away, but only enough so that he could look at you, the same look in his eyes that had been there the first night you’d been together in Los Angeles. I’m in trouble. He leaned closer, and out of habit, you closed the final bit of distance between you, kissing him hard, gripping the soft strands of his hair between your curled fingers. Logan nipped at your lip, biting down as he backed off, his lips returning to your ear, breath warm.
“Sit on the table.”

Bachelorette Party for 2
When Adam plans a bachelorette trip for 2 to Vegas what's the worse that could happens? Ties into mine and @gottaboopthesnoot family fluff series (mentions of sexual acts? That's a warning aint it?)
"So I've been thinking" Adam said as he plopped down on the corner of your desk. You glanced over your computer screen and eyed him cautiously "That exact sentence has gotten me into so much shit over the years I am scared to ask"
A smile slipped onto his face "Oh come on now! It's been months since we got yelled at by Voight!" "It's been two weeks Ruz! Now tell me what you've been thinking before I decide to switch partners with Kevin for the day" you were completely ignoring your screen now in favor of your over grown golden retriever of a best friend.
He glanced around the squad room before finally saying "You need a bachelorette party. Something to celebrate you and mouse tying the knot before you do" you leaned back in your chair and looked at him like he'd grown a second head "Adam are you forgetting the night you and Kim have all planned for three weeks from now?"
He shrugged and picked up a photo from your desk that was from one of the community picnics. Jay had snapped a photo of you, Adam, Kim and Mouse. The thing was you could barely see Mouse because he'd pulled you into his lap then Adam had flopped into your lap then Kim had ultimately climbed into Adam's lap. It was a ridiculously goofy photo for a detective to have on her desk but you smiled every time you looked at it.
"Yea but that party is for all the bridesmaids. I was thinking you needed one for you and your man of honor" you tried to hide your smile. Adam wasn't jealous of Mouse taking your attention, no he loved your fiance. He was jealous of the possibility of one of your female friends taking your attention from him as your best friend. "So a trip for me and you?"
A grin spread across his face as he sat the photo down and looked at you "Exactly! Me, you, Vegas? C'mon it'll be fun!" You sucked your bottom lip between your teeth chewing on it as you thought about his offer. "Let me talk to Mouse about it" his grin deepened even further and he patted on your desk "That's my girl! I'll start checking flights and reservations. It's gonna be awesome!"
----------------------
Come Friday afternoon Mouse was driving you to the airport to meet up with Adam. When he parked you were still holding his hand instead of getting out. "Baby are you ok?" He asked giving your hand a little squeeze.
You nodded then raised your eyes to meet his with a small smile "Are you sure you're ok with me going?" "That's what's wrong? Adam is your best friend! You two deserve a weekend to have fun. I'll miss you but come Sunday I'm sure we can make up the two nights we'll miss" his smile was always enough to bring one to your face.
"I love you Greg Gerwitz" he grinned and said "I love you too. Now let me get some kisses before you leave" you leaned across to catch his lips in a kiss. Every time your lips met his felt like the first time all over again. You never dreamed of feeling about someone how you felt about him and you couldn't wait to finally be his wife.
You felt his hands move to your hips and moaned into his mouth when he pulled you over into his lap as he deepened the kiss. "Greg" you spoke with your lips still against his both of you losing yourselves in each other but before either of you could speak someone slapped on the window and a very familiar voice said "Stop that! Good lord you're a detective and that is public indecency!"
You leaned back to see Adam standing outside the car with Kim standing behind him both of them wearing a grin. You rolled down the window not bothering to move out Mouse's lap "Hello partner! Can you give me like five more minutes to finish making out with my fiance? You and Kim can check my bags in then make out for a few before we have to leave"
He shook his head then held up his watch "Flight leaves in thirty. We've got enough time to get through security so Mouse sorry man I gotta take her" Mouse laughed and laid his head over on your chest kissing your neck lightly "No worries Ruz" then looked up at you and patted your thighs "C'mon baby. Let's go get you two checked in and boarded"
---------------------
There was a time you hated plane rides but after joining intelligence and helping in cases in New York a lot you'd gotten over your aversion. Nothing helped nerves better than Hank side eyeing you in turbulence.
Adam had booked you flights in business class which meant fairly comfortable seats. You'd fallen asleep not long after the plane had taken off and actually only woke up when Adam moved his shoulder which you'd been laying against so he could ask you if you wanted something to eat or drink.
You blinked the sleep from your eyes and smiled at the stewardness "Just a soda please"
She handed you a sprite from the cart then continued down the aisle.
Adam grinned at you then acted like he was wiping something off his shoulder "Adam Ruzek I do not drool in my sleep!" you argued but still felt your mouth just in case and he busted out laughing "Oh I was just kidding but now I know you actually do! Poor Mouse man do you drool on him?"
You raised an eyebrow at that question and he groaned running a hand over his face "Forget I asked and please do not tell me about your sex life again I know more about him than any man should ever know about his best friend's soon to be husband"
You tried and failed to hide your smile behind the soda can and shrugged "Sorry Ruz but that's a perk of having a woman as your best friend. We talk about our sex lives just as much as you men folk do. Besides I know a fair share about Kim as well"
He rolled his eyes and said "That's because you've both made it clear that should anything ever happen to me and Mouse you're marrying each other next" "Well at least you know she'll be taken care" you teased with a wink.
He shook his head and checked the time on his watch "Well we don't have long before we land. Want to go over the game plan so far?" You grinned and said "Of course! I'm curious as to what you've planned and just a little worried"
--------------------
By the time the plane landed Adam had went over the basics of where you were staying, what bars and casinos he planned to hit and the fact that come saturday you'd both probably be crawling out of bed around dinner time from the hangovers.
You followed him through the airport after you'd grabbed your bags and out to the sidewalk where he hailed a cab.
You slid in first then he climbed in behind you and told the driver where you were headed. "Ready for a fun weekend?" He asked you with a broad smile that you returned fully "Hell yea let's do it"
--------------------
He'd gotten the two of you adjoining rooms at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino so the plan was to drop bags off, get ready then head out. It was a little after six so you still had plenty of time to grab a bite to eat before the night even started good.
Considering the hotel offered a wide variety buffet you chose just to eat there. The food was delicious and there was a lot of variety.
Once you were both content and had let Kim and Mouse both know you'd landed safely Adam grinned at you then rubbed his hands together "So are you ready for your official bachelorette party? The one in a couple weeks is just the hometown one"
You waved your hand towards the door "Lead the way partner. You're the man with the plan" he grabbed your hand and said "Then let's get on it!"
--------------------
"Adam what in the world are you wearing?" You nearly choked on your beer when he made it back over to the table. He wiggled his hips with a smirk "ya like it?" For some ungodly reason he'd added a coconut bra over his tank top considering he'd shed his shirt when you said you were cold so you were now wearing it over your top.
"Where did you get that?" You asked rubbing a hand over the shell closest to you. He swatted your hand away "First off ma'am hands off. Secondly I am sure I'm the one that planned tonight so I've got a few more surprises up my sleeve"
"Such as?" You asked with a raised eyebrow but he simply grinned at you. Your phone started ringing so you pulled it out to see Mouse's name flash across and smiled but Adam moved a bit faster than you and snatched it away to answer it "Gerwitz you know the rules!"
---------------------
Mouse wasn't surprised when Adam answered your phone it was a common occurrence when you were home and out in the field. He could hear you laughing in the background "Ruz give me my phone!"
"C'mon Adam I just want to check on her" he offered but Adam tsked then said "She's with me. She's fine. She loves you and will see you Sunday and the two of you can do all that stuff I hate having to hear about ok"
"Ruz" he tried again but Adam cut him off by saying "The strippers just got here man I gotta go" strippers? Adam hadn't said anything about strippers. "ADAM" he hollered but all he got in return was a quick "Bye Mouse" and heard you giggle before the line went dead.
He sat there for a second then clicked Kim's number in his contacts. After a few minutes she answered her voice heavy with sleep "Mouse? Is everything ok?" He tried to talk calm but the first thing out his mouth was "Strippers Kim!"
After a beat that was clearly her trying to wake up enough for a conversation she said "What?" "Adam got her strippers" she laughed lightly "Yea I know. I helped him pick out which ones"
Why did that not surprise him? "Ok but tell me this isn't the world's worse combination. Adam, Y/N, strippers, alcohol, a lot of cash and the Las Vegas strip"
She laughed again then said "Mouse do you doubt either of them" "No I'm not worried about them! I'm worried about Vegas. I don't think even Voight and Trudy could get them out of destroying an entire city"
"Mouse get some sleep. They'll call when they're hungover and laying around tomorrow" he chuckled then said "Yea you're right. Night Kim" "Night"
--------------------
When his phone started chiming for a facetime call Mouse reached out blindly to grab it then clicked to answer. When your face popped up on screen he couldn't help but smile. You had glitter all over your face, you were wearing Adam's long sleeve shirt over your own top and was wearing a bride to be sash. You were as always the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on.
"Hey baby!" You giggled leaning against Adam's shoulder as he told the uber driver where the two of you were headed next. "Hi beautiful are you having fun?" He asked and you nodded "Yes I am! Adam planned an amazing time. The strippers were gorgeous and loved when they found out I was higher ranking than him! They even gave me a hat look"
You disappeared from the screen for a moment then popped back into view wearing one of the cop hats like strippers wore. "You gonna wear that for me when you get home?" He asked and you smiled "Of course baby! The one girl gave me some ideas for our honeymoon. She even offered a demonstration but I told her a lap dance was where I drew the line"
He laughed when you said that "I know baby you wouldn't do anything with anyone" you nodded then stared at him for moment. He was worried the call had froze before you finally sighed and said "God Greg you're so fucking sexy. I miss you!"
Time the words left your mouth Adam grabbed the phone "Nope I'm not hearing this! Mouse man do you realize after the first time you slept with her I couldn't look at you for two fucking days? No man should know that much about another man unless they're together"
He heard you giggle from next to Adam so he asked "Impressed or intimidated Ruz?" Adam shrugged "Little bit of both honestly and a little weirded out cause I never knew she was such a freak until the next day she kept going on and on about your fingers while you were typing"
This time Mouse busted out laughing "You're welcome then" Adam was laughing by then but still said "It's not funny! I'm fucking scarred man!"
"Sorry man..now hand me back to our girl!" He said and Adam nodded "No sex talk?" Mouse knew you so he said "Not on my end" Adam side eyed you then shrugged "Good as I'm gonna get here she is"
---------------------
When Adam handed the phone back Mouse's ears were red from how hard he'd been laughing but smiled when he saw you "Hello again gorgeous" "Hey baby. I promised Adam no more sex talk and we're about to get out the uber but before I go I want to say I love you and can we try to mark off number three on the tech room list when I get back"
"FOR FUCKS SAKE PARTNER" Adam hollered and mouse grinned "Of course beautiful. I love you too. Have fun and be safe" you clicked off the call then handed your phone to Adam.
He was quiet for a moment then said "What's number three?" You shook your head "Oh you don't wanna know" he took a sip from the flask he'd bought a couple bars back then said "Naw I'm drunk enough I want to know"
You turned to face him then said "Number three is mouse eating me out in the tech room during lunch so there's a chance of anyone walking in" he looked like a fish out of water for a second then said "Hold up what's one and two?"
You scratched the back of your neck then said "Well I gave him a blow job while he was updating our coms a while back and we had sex while you, Kim and Jay were upstairs doing paperwork"
He took another swig then grinned as he said "Anywhere else in the precinct I need to disinfect?" You felt a blush warm your cheeks when you answered "Um break room, a few desks in the squad room, a couple cars in roll up and Voights office once"
"Hold on...Voights office?" He asked stunned and you shrugged "What?" He shook his head "Nothing you and Mouse are fucking insane though" you laughed then said "Yea but we have an amazing sex life Ruz"
About that time the uber stopped in front the next bar and Adam grabbed your arm "Thank god I need another drink" you let him pull you out and laughed "You asked!"
--------------------
You groaned as you rolled over and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was a little after noon. You tried to sit up when the room started spinning you laid back down on the floor and closed your eyes. Floor?
You could vaguely remember you and Adam opening the doors between your rooms and proclaiming the blanket fort you were gonna make would break any world record. You opened your eyes and looked around before spotting him a few feet away curled around a pillow still wearing the coconut bra and a pink tiara that you had no memory of him getting "Ruzek!" You spoke but grimaced from your own voice.
When he didn't stir you grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at him. He opened one eye and looked at you "Did we survive last night?" You laughed and said "I don't know. I feel like shit" "Me too. I think we're getting too old for this shit" he agreed as both of you crawled closer to each other so you could sit up leaning against each other.
"We're staying tonight too aren't we?" You asked and he groaned then said "Why don't we stay in and get pizza and watch a movie?" You patted his hand closest to you "You read my mind partner"
---------------------
Sunday evening Kim and Mouse were standing together and spotted Adam first when the two of you walked off the plane then spotted you.
Both of you were wearing matching t-shirts that said "We survived" with a photo of the strip as the background along with bright orange sunglasses. When you spotted him you smiled and practically ran to him.
"I missed you" you spoke with your face buried in his neck. He kissed your forehead then asked "Did you have fun?" You pulled back and looked over where Adam and Kim were also hugging "Oh yeah. My man of honor made sure I had one hell of a weekend" "and the hangover to prove it" Adam added with a wink.

Part 2: Someone You Loved
The first few days of their honeymoon went by in a blur. Leave it to the King of Cordonia to own his own private island. With only a few staff around to cook their meals and tidy up the villa, Bragnae and Liam were virtually alone. It was a refreshing change after the whirlwind that was her life once she stepped off the plane in Cordonia for the first time.
Getting a moment alone with Liam was more difficult than she would have liked, but she understood. First, she’d been competing for his hand with five other women. So, he had to be fair to share his time with them all. Next, he was engaged when he didn’t want to be, and Bragnae was branded as a harlot, so having Liam seen with her would have looked bad on him.
Once they were engaged, they had the freedom to be with each other more, but with Liam’s duties as King, Cordonia always comes first. Bragnae accepted that. She knew what to expect with him, but it didn’t make her want him any less. If anything, the moments they could be alone together were that much sweeter.
The honeymoon was a particularly special treat because it was truly just about them. In the days they spent on the island, their pleasure was of the utmost importance. A true honeymoon. They’d eat, have sex, sleep, wake up, have sex again, eat some more, and the cycle just repeated itself. Far from being an exhausting routine, they enjoyed every minute.
After they intimately explored every square inch of the villa, Liam took Bragnae out to discover the island leading to many impromptu erotic moments. In a quiet oasis towards the center of the island, Liam bent her over a downed tree, making her come hard twice while the wild birds scattered from her ear-piercing screams. They had also found a beautiful waterfall to make love under, letting the power of the water invoke many sensual and heightened orgasms.
As if Liam had placed it there himself, a large, smooth bolder sat in the shallows of the ocean, which was the perfect place to enjoy the silvery glow of the moon bouncing off the water while Liam pounded into her. The crashing waves lapping against their lower halves only enhanced the experience. With miles separating them from the nearest person, especially after the staff left the island for the night, Liam encouraged her not to hold back with her pleasured cries, and he made sure she didn’t.
Aside from the frequent, mind-blowing sex, Bragnae and Liam had grown even closer than they ever had before. There was actually time for them to talk about their interests, relax without any major distractions, and just be with each other. It was all she could ever hope for – the perfect honeymoon with her new husband, the King.
Bragnae finished getting ready for bed with a quick spritz of perfume. She looked at herself in the mirror, admiring the black and red negligee that hugged her curves. She knew it wouldn’t stay on long, and being naked made more sense, but the King liked a challenge.
Flipping off the bathroom light, she strolled back into the bedroom to see Liam sitting up in bed with a laptop resting on his thighs. His brow furrowed as his eyes scanned the screen. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, and she hoped he was bare even under the sheets. She’d soon find out.
Bragnae got on the bed, and crawled seductively towards him, catching his attention. “How’s the kingdom, Your Majesty?” Her tone was flirty and playful in hopes to get his mind on her instead.
He smiled at her. “It’s running smoothly, although it looks like we’ll be a bit busy when we return.”
“Why do you say that?” She straddled his knees, and leaned over his computer letting her ample cleavage tease him. His eyes immediately shifted to her chest with an appreciative look.
His gaze returned to her eyes. “Well, for starters, we have to have your coronation. Since you married the king, you automatically fill the role as queen, but Cordonian tradition states that there must be a coronation for you to be officially considered a ruler of the country. It has to happen within a month of us getting married.”
“That sounds nice. I’m looking forward to it. What else?”
Liam sighed. “As soon as we get back, I have to go to Lythikos.” He ran a hand through his silky, blonde hair. “Olivia needs some help with something in her duchy. She’s being vague as to the details, but needs my assistance.”
“Can I go with you?”
“Normally, I’d say yes. But I want you to get settled in at the palace, and start getting to know your role as queen. There will be a lot for you to adjust to, I’m afraid.”
“What’s a queen without her king?” Her lips transformed into a sultry smirk.
“You make a valid point, but I won’t be gone too long. One night, maybe.” Her smirk faltered at the thought of not being with him. “Trust me, I don’t want to leave you either. We can make up for it now, and when I come back.”
Bragnae nodded assertively. “Fair enough. And speaking of now, what do you say we put the country’s needs aside, and focus on ours instead?” She slowly pushed the laptop closed, and put it on the bedside table, making it a point to hover over him in a sexy feline sort of way.
Liam grinned, using a finger to pull down her top for a better view. “I don’t even know why you’re wearing this. I’m just going to take it off of you anyway.”
She inched herself closer, still on all fours. “Maybe I wanted you to work for it.” Leaning forward, she slowly and barely brushed her lips against his before sitting back again.
“I will always make an effort to work for it when it comes to you.” Just then, Liam sat forward grabbing her by the waist, and pulled her on top of him like it was nothing.
“You’re so strong, Liam,” she said biting her lip. Flattening her hands onto his well-defined chest, she admired his physique. “You have such a sexy, toned body. I can’t get enough of it.”
“A king should be strong to defend his kingdom… and his queen.” Liam pushed the satin fabric above her hips before running the back of his hand across her pelvis.
Bragnae tingled at her core. No matter how many times they’d slept together, his touch always inspired such a reaction. Not to mention staring at the blonde Adonis sitting beneath her already made her wet and ready for him.
“Well, on behalf of the citizens of Cordonia, we want to thank you for every chiseled muscle on your body for the betterment of our country.” Her finger outlined his pectorals, dropping down to trace each of his defined abs as she spoke. Her hand slipped further down beneath the sheet to gently grip his already hardened cock.
A low groan rumbled in his throat. “That particular muscle is not for Cordonia. It’s only reserved for you.”
“Yes, but the citizens are rooting for me to have a very pleasurable honeymoon, and this,” she paused to peel back the sheets to expose his monumental erection, “plays a vital role in that.” Bragnae slowly stroked him, mesmerized by his mouth-watering dick.
She briefly wondered if all Cordonian men were as well-endowed as he was. A recent memory breached her mind of the other massive cock she encountered and who it belonged to, but she quickly pushed it away.
Liam smiled, shifting a bit under her touch. “The people are already rallying around you, huh? It makes sense. They, like me, want you to be completely satisfied.” He rolled her on her back, so she was underneath him. “Over and over and over again.”
His mouth crashed against hers, kissing her with everything he had. That was Liam – full of passion, devotion and eagerness to please her. She moaned as his hands moved down her body. He gripped her hips, and tugged her down the bed a bit before lifting her negligee up. Instead of removing it completely, he made it so the fabric both covered her eyes and restrained her arms. She was bound by her own outfit with her body bare and entirely at Liam’s mercy.
She squirmed a bit just to play along. Seeing nothing but darkness made her other senses spike, especially when Liam caressed her breasts, loving each one of her taut nipples with his tongue and a gentle tug of his teeth. Bragnae gasped, her breathing increased.
“God, Liam that feels so good.” A surge of heat rushed to her core as he loved her body.
After assuming he’d move south next, Liam surprised her by capturing her lips once more. “You ready to scream, my Queen?” He bit her lower lip, slowly dragging away from her before his mouth worked its way down her body.
Bragnae moaned deliciously. “You know that I am.” If there was an award given for ‘most skilled at oral sex’, King Liam would win it every time, hands down. He not only was exceptional at it, but he liked doing it as well – almost to the point of obsession. It was thrilling and unbearably hot. A man with such a skill should be afforded as many opportunities as he wanted to perform, and Bragnae would happily and shamelessly enable his pleasurable addiction anytime.
It didn’t matter what position he had her in – because it did vary, she would reach her climax hard and fast, and would soon be putty in his arms. Worthless to the world for at least two minutes, sometimes longer. He was that good. Thinking about it in more depth, it made sense that he excelled in this particular area.
Liam was charismatic, a well-spoken man, and he addressed the public on an almost daily basis. His tongue assisted him in speaking five different languages, negotiating with diplomats and other foreign leaders, and her most favorite, talking dirty to her. It was no wonder that when he flicked his tongue at just the right speed and pressure that she’d fall apart around him.
To add to the suspense of it all, he would always include an extra move that pleasantly surprised her whether that be using his hands to assist his skilled mouth, humming into her, or even biting. Yes – biting. Where she thought it might be too much for her sensitive skin, the way Liam did it made her toes curl. Whatever combination he decided to use never failed to elicit the same response in her – glass-shattering screams, soaked sheets, calling to God… it was all amazing.
Liam spread her legs wide, placing tender kisses on her inner thigh. Bragnae gasped as she felt him blow lightly on her hot, aching center. He chuckled at her reaction.
“I could stare at you like this all day. Spread eagle, your hot, wet pussy in my face, your beautiful breasts moving up and down along with your ragged breathing. You’re. A fucking. Work. Of art.” Liam punctuated each word with a lap of his tongue, making Bragnae writhe with anticipation.
As much as he enjoyed the act itself, it seemed he relished teasing her beforehand as well. She didn’t mind it because she knew what was coming – aside from herself, that was a given – and it was worth any wait she had to endure.
She smiled, exhaling a giggle that turned into a moan. “I wouldn’t mind this all day, but I’m pretty sure the country would need your attention sooner or later.”
“Such a pity.” Bragnae could feel his hot breath before his expert tongue grazed the soft skin between her southern lips. He always knew the right place to start.
Bragnae dreamily sank into the incredible and hastened strokes of his tongue, which he would use in all the cardinal directions as well as the occasional swirl. Her hips would have rolled with him if he hadn’t held her firmly in place.
Just as she felt the warmth start to build, Liam hummed as he licked, making her entire core vibrate. She pressed her head back against the mattress, tensing her body as the flood gates were about to open. His name left her lips in a breathy whisper as he helped to unleash the blissful fury she had expected.
Her body convulsed as her still restricted hands grasped at the pillows above her head. Liam kept up with his mission until her long screams subsided. An overwhelming sensation of pleasure, love and comfort filled her – almost as if she had floated out of her body and was left hovering on cloud nine.
She tasted herself on his lips as he kissed her, and removed the negligee so that it no longer held her captive. Her eyes fluttered open looking at her husband who wore a big, accomplished grin on his face.
“I love when you scream like that. Makes me so hard.” Liam winked at her before hopping off the bed.
Still in a euphoric state, Bragnae barely noticed as Liam tugged her towards the edge of the bed. He picked up one of her legs letting the other rest on the mattress, and stroked himself as he looked at her. Her gaze met his – those blue eyes dark as an ocean with desire.
“I’m going to be useless to you for another minute or so.” Still panting, she barely managed to speak.
He lined the tip of his engorged member to her, teasing her dripping wet entrance. “Hmmm, not completely useless. All you need to do is relax and moan like the goddess that you are.” He pushed himself inside her with ease prompting a throaty moan of agreement from Bragnae.
Leaning over, pumping slowly in and out of her, he smiled. “That’s it. How do you like my dick, Bragnae?”
All she could do was whimper from the wonderful feeling of him stretching her out.
“Tell me you like it,” he demanded in a low, hoarse voice. He increased his pace a little.
“I love it. I love when your big, hard dick is inside me.” What wasn’t to love about that?
“Such a dirty mouth you have,” he said chuckling before bending down to kiss her again. “And I love your tight, wet pussy.”
She smiled. “I remembered to do my Kegel exercises for you too, big boy.” As if to emphasize her point, she used her internal muscles to contract her walls around his cock, giving him a unique, sexy hug.
He smirked down at her. “I do appreciate that.”
“Harder, Liam.” He answered with a powerful thrust that she felt in her throat.
“How’s that?” He did it again. She hissed a sharp breath through gritted teeth.
“Good. Now, faster.”
He kept his eyes on hers as a determined look spread across his face. His abs flexed with each thrust he made into her, pounding at rapid speed. Her leg pressed against his chest as he held onto it with both hands, squeezing her thigh.
The position of her leg and the slight curve of his dick made for the perfect position for him to rub in just the right spot. She felt the hot pressure in her pelvis swiftly change to the promise of more.
“Liam, I’m close. Oh, my God. I’m so close.”
He moved his thumb over her clitoris, lightly rubbing as he kept up his pace. “Go on. Soak my dick, baby.”
The added stimulation sent her over the edge. Gripping the bed sheets with both hands, she squeezed her eyes shut, and became consumed with all that encompassed her sensual release. Seconds later, Liam set free his own climax draining himself into her.
Still nestled safely inside her, he leaned down again to kiss her. “I love you, Bragnae.”
“I love you too.”

Empty bottles that once contained alcohol and used glasses littered Drake’s otherwise tidy room. He laid in his bed, fully clothed, as rays from the sun shined on his face. This was the way he’d fallen asleep every night for the past week – drinking until he was good and drunk, and then passing out on his bed with the lights on. He felt a pounding headache throb at his temples that hadn’t seemed to go away since the night of wedding no matter how much whiskey he drank.
Of course, he knew the alcohol wasn’t making things better, but he didn’t care. He needed two things: to be comforted, and to forget. Since he didn’t have the woman he wanted to warm him with her touch, the whiskey sufficed. And because that particular woman was on her honeymoon, likely getting fucked in every position imaginable – and if he knew his friend, he wasn’t far off, he needed to get her out of his mind.
He had grown to realize that even after nearly drowning himself with all that he consumed in alcohol, it hadn’t been as reliable as he’d hoped. Still, through the mind-altering haze, he found himself thinking about Bragnae. There wasn’t an inch of her body he didn’t see in his mind, not a single detail of their dalliance that he didn’t obsess over.
Hoping to find some solace amidst the pain, he even tried to use the thoughts of her to inspire a release of his own built up sexual tension and strife, but knowing he couldn’t be with her took the thrill of the fantasy out of the equation. Frustrated, horny, sad, pissed off – this is what his life was now. He was already a bitter person, but somehow in the last week, he was able to dig down to a whole other level of disturbed.
He wanted nothing from life but Bragnae. Being with her made him happy, in ways he didn’t even know he could be. She challenged him, laughed at his sarcastic jokes, and went out of her way to make sure he was having a good time. They had bonded to the point of friends, which he didn’t expect at first.
But with his desire for her coupled with her reciprocating need for him, they had entered a new plane of existence between platonic friendship and romantic relationship, which was confusing as fuck. And because of his incessant need to put others before him, he missed his chance to be with her for good. He hadn’t even told her how much he loved her, and had loved her since the beginning.
A knock at the door startled him. It sounded as if a bomb had just gone off, making him cringe. There was a pause before another repetition of knocking came. He drew in a deep breath, heaving himself off the bed to stop the head-splitting noise.
On his way, he stumbled a bit, still feeling the effects of last night’s binge. He opened the door to see the small, but fierce Hana Lee looking up at him in surprise. Why the hell is she surprised to see me? This is my goddamn room.
“Drake, you look awful.” Her mouth had gaped open as her eyes raked over his disheveled appearance. He hadn’t shaved in a few days, so his dark stubble became more than that. His wrinkled clothes hadn’t been changed in a day, and his longer hair hadn’t seen a comb in twice that amount of time. Maybe he shouldn’t be so shocked that she had that reaction.
“Thanks. It reflects my mood. What do you want?” His voice was low and grumbly. When she pulled back, appearing to have been offended, he retraced his words. “I’m sorry. I have a headache. What can I do for you?” His eyelids felt heavy, probably from the lack of decent sleep he’d gotten, but also from the anguish that plagued him. He hoped she didn’t notice too much.
Hana placed a gentle hand on his arm. “I just came to tell you that Liam and Bragnae come back to the palace today. And I thought it’d be nice for us to be there to greet them when they arrive.” As soon as the happy couple was married, Hana stepped in as Bragnae’s Senior Lady-In-Waiting, and she took her role very seriously. “It looks like you could use some time to… freshen up. How about I grab you some coffee, and then you can do what you need to do?”
Hana also grew to be one of Drake’s few friends. She was sweet, caring, talented as hell, and could knock a guy’s block off if she wanted to – even if her confidence told her she couldn’t. Standing at just over five feet tall, he towered over her small frame at his own six and a half feet. She was half-Chinese, half-Cordonian – gorgeous. She’d make any man happy, any man that wasn’t already infatuated with someone else like he was.
He looked into her compassionate, brown eyes that pleaded with him to comply. He hadn’t wanted to leave his room today, except maybe to find something to eat, but he couldn’t say no. Plus, they were coming home today. It wouldn’t look good if Liam’s best friend wasn’t around to welcome him back.
“Sure, Hana. That’d be great. Give me twenty minutes, and I’ll meet you in the dining hall. And I take my coffee black.”
She nodded. “I’ll order some food for you as well. Twenty-minutes, Drake,” she said, pointing at him with a stern look.
He chuckled at her sudden assertiveness. “I promise. Thanks, Hana.”
“You’re welcome, my friend.” He closed the door as soon as she walked off.
Leaning against it, he sighed. Now, he had to do the impossible: prepare himself to face the woman he loved as she hung on the arm of another man. All the while, he had to look presentable as if her marriage to his best friend had not transformed his life, now wrought with despair.
~
An hour or so later, Drake had showered, shaved, and eaten a bigger breakfast than usual. Having a strict diet of whiskey over the past week would surely make a person ravenous. The coffee was strong, just how he liked it, and it gave him the energy he needed to brave the rest of the day. Maxwell and Bertrand had even come in from Ramsford to greet the King and Queen.
Hana had caught them all up with the day’s festivities. They’d have a dinner with the royal couple celebrating their return. Drake grumbled inward – all the royals did was throw parties, it didn’t matter the occasion. He tried to mask his bitterness, but felt like he was failing. His intention wasn’t to snub his best friend and his new wife, but the situation dictated a different response. He felt like an asshole.
His headache had gone away with the coffee and stomach full of food, so after everything was said at breakfast, he excused himself to go back to his room. He had a little over an hour before he was needed in the Grand Hall, so he took some time to clean up his room. The trashcan filled up quickly with the embarrassing amount of empty whiskey bottles. He made his bed, and picked up his floor.
Checking the clock, the cleaning had only taken thirty minutes of his time. He sighed, sitting on his bed, feeling antsy. Normally, when he hadn’t resorted to poisoning his liver with endless whiskey, he would go to the gym to exert his tension, stress or just for the fun of it.
He couldn’t do that now, there wasn’t enough time, and he’d have to shower again. He decided he’d go later. Late night work outs were nice to clear his head before bed, and he’d most likely need it after being forced to be in the same room as Bragnae.
He leaned back, thumbing through his phone. First through social media, then over to a game that could let him escape reality for a bit. His fingers twitched before moving to the other app. What he really wanted to do was look at the few saved pictures of Bragnae he had on his phone.
Some of them were some they took together over the engagement tour, when Liam was still betrothed to Madeleine, and the others were some he’d swiped from her social media. She had modeled in a photoshoot for a friend in New York once, and the second Drake discovered those photos, he was a goner. He’d incorporate them into the background of his phone had it been acceptable, but of course it wasn’t. Still the guy on the outside looking in, he had to hide his desire for her.
Luckily, the game had done its job, and it was time to head to the Grand Hall. Drake slipped his phone into his pocket, and left his room.
When he reached the meeting area, Hana, Maxwell and Bertrand were already in place along with many other servants and guards. Select members of the press too.
“You’re just in time. Their plane landed twenty minutes ago, so they should arrive any minute,” Hana told him. She looked happy, as she should, for their friends’ return. He wished he could be that happy.
Drake acknowledged her, and proceeded to cross his arms over his chest. After a few seconds, he realized the way he stood made him appear unapproachable, so he shook out his arms, and let them rest at his sides. He fidgeted a bit more, feeling uncomfortable.
Loud applause and cheering spread through the room as Liam and Bragnae strolled through the double doors. Camera flashes went off and the crowd swarmed them. Drake and the rest stood in the back allowing the media a chance for their questions and pictures before the palace guards would shoo them off.
After a few minutes, the crowd began to dissipate, and he could now see his friend, the King. Liam wore a polo and shorts, his aviator sunglasses hung on the V-neck of his shirt. He looked relaxed, care free. Why wouldn’t he? He just got to spend the week doing nothing accept his wife. Drake clenched his jaw at the thought.
Finally, the persistent media goons left, allowing Drake full access to look at the new queen. He dreaded this moment just as much as he craved it. No matter how much pain sat in his heart, not seeing Bragnae was worse than seeing her. He missed her – he wasn’t afraid to admit that. She had been such a big part of his life over the past several months, and being away from her for a week was excruciatingly difficult – obviously.
He drew in a sharp breath as he saw her face. She smiled brightly at those around her. Her skin looked tanner than usual, and her long, black hair was tousled in a breezy sort of way. She wore a strappy sundress that extended to the floor, and a long gold necklace, drawing his eye to her impeccable breasts. God, that dress looked great on her.
Drake felt stirrings of arousal hit him suddenly. He wanted to deny them, but they were relentless the more he looked at her. The high slit in her dress gave him all kinds of naughty ideas, and soon he was daydreaming about the things he’d love to do to her. He wasn’t even concerned with anyone else in the room. All that mattered was her.
Liam stepped up to Drake first before greeting the rest. “Hey, buddy. Things been well while we’ve been gone?” He pulled Drake into a bro-hug.
He cleared his throat. “As well as can be expected.” What can anyone expect of a man with a broken and lust-filled heart except that things were all they could be? Unchanging and depressing as fuck.
Liam clapped him on the shoulder. “Good to hear. Looking forward to catching up with you soon.” He quickly moved on to Hana and Maxwell sharing similar greetings.
Drake knew Bragnae was close just by the smell of her sweet perfume. Her scent was intoxicating, both graceful and seductive. It suited her. He watched her traipse over to him with a bright smile. It awakened his heart to see her looking at him like that.
“Your Majesty,” he said with a slight bow and straight face.
Bragnae lifted an eyebrow at him. “Come on, Drake. You don’t have to do that. ‘Bennett’ is just fine.”
“That’s no longer your name.” His responses seemed callous. He didn’t exactly plan on them coming out that way, but it did reflect his mood.
She scoffed. “Fine, Drake. Call me whatever you want.” As she turned to walk away, Drake grabbed her hand. He couldn’t let her leave like that. He had to make it right.
Bragnae snapped her head in the direction of their joined hands before glaring up at him. “What are you—,”
“I’m sorry, Bennett. How was your honeymoon?” He hoped she’d tell him it was terrible, and that she thought of him the whole time, but he knew that wouldn’t happen.
She visibly relaxed, but didn’t pull her hand away. “It was nice. Thank you. How’ve you been?”
“Well enough.” He looked into her amber eyes. She stared right back. He noticed her breathing had quickened, and knew it was a result of holding her hand from the way her gaze dropped to it. She swallowed, trying to hide being flustered, but Drake could see it. He saw everything.
He still affected her with a single touch, even after being a rude asshole to her. He, too, felt the electric current running through his veins stemming from their joined hands. He knew she was experiencing the same thing. Seeing her react that way gave him hope. A hope for what? What would he do with it? He didn’t know just yet, but he had a feeling he’d soon figure it out.
Bragnae cleared her throat and shook off her entranced expression as she gently pulled her hand out of his. “That’s good, Drake. I’ll see you later.”
He nodded, keeping his heated gaze on her. She took a step toward Hana, but looked back at him once more. The end of his mouth curled up into a smirk. Bragnae quickly averted her eyes and focused on Hana instead offering her a warm greeting.
After a week away with her husband, a single touch from Drake still muddled her composure. He decided he would test the waters further telling her what he wanted, and maybe she’d want that too. The night should prove interesting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was good to be back at the palace, even though she already missed her alone time with Liam. After greeting the welcome committee, they went back to their suite to shower and get ready for the dinner with their friends. Liam, as insatiable as he was, caught her before any other clothes could shield her body, and made love to her in their king-sized royal bed. Good to be back, indeed.
Bragnae slipped on a pink, chiffon dress that stopped at her knee, and stepped into a pair of peep-toe heels before her husband escorted her to the Dining Hall.
Everyone was already waiting for them when they walked in the room and took a seat. Liam at the head of the table, and Bragnae to his left. Out of courtesy for their position, their friends waited for them to sit before taking their own seats. Hana sat next to Bragnae, while Drake, Maxwell and Bertrand filled in across from her.
Her eyes flicked over to Drake as he settled in. He was looking particularly handsome today. She didn’t know what it was, but still she tried to ignore that. So, she turned to look at Maxwell, and thought about how nice he looked, and even Bertrand.
Maxwell, the hilarious party-guy she had come to love, was extremely good looking. He styled his hair, in what she considered was purposefully carefree, but he always looked good. He smelled delightful and warm, as a man should, dressed nice, and was toned and fit. Despite all of that, Bragnae had grown to love Maxwell as a brother-figure than anything else, which was probably best as she already had two men, specifically at this table, that she had romantic feelings for.
Bertrand was handsome in his own way. As Maxwell’s older brother, he was the Duke of Ramsford. He had been the indignant man that always gave her a hard time during the Social Season when she wanted to act like her ‘carefree American self’ – his words. Over time, however, he had become something more to her, like an older brother or even father-figure. Raised as an orphan, she was grateful to have him and any of her friends to consider part of her close-knit circle, part of her family.
Drinks had been served, and the servants presented them all with their meals. Everyone started to chat, especially Maxwell with his seemingly endless, but adorable questions about the island they just spent a week on, already making plans for them all to go back.
As she continued to listen and eat her meal, she felt like she was being watched. After taking a bite of the savory pot roast, she looked at Maxwell again before shifting her eyes to Drake. It was him. He was looking at her. But when their gazes met, he didn’t look away. In fact, he made it a point to deepen his stare.
Bragnae had to avert her eyes as a shiver shot down her spine. That was the second time that day one of his looks affected her that way. She took another bite. Maybe he was done staring. Of course, she’d need to check. Looking back in his direction, he had a glass of his favorite libation in his hand, and before he took a drink, his eyes flashed over to her again.
She could feel her heart race. Drake, with his dark eyes, could slay any woman with a single look. Well, so could her husband. But there was something to his smoldering and always brooding expression that made her tingly. She wondered why he was so attentive with her today. Before the wedding, it felt like he did all in his power to avoid her eyes, perhaps so she wouldn’t see the hurt inside him.
But now? He was eyeing her like a predator stalking its prey. Not that she ever felt threated by Drake, but his looks now definitely were intimidating. Mostly because she didn’t know what they meant.
Liam put his hand over hers on the table. Startled, she jumped slightly at his touch.
“Are you okay, Bragnae? Your face is a little red,” Kindly, he lowered his voice to a whisper not to draw the attention of the others, but they all still honed in on her.
Suddenly feeling self-conscious and needing a moment to sort out the mixed emotions running through her head, she stood. “I’m fine. Thank you,” she told him with a soft touch to his arm. “I’m a little warm. I think I’ll go splash some water on my face.”
The men at the table stood, chivalrous as they were, as she left the room. Once she was out of their sight, she headed to the nearest powder room. Closing the door behind her, she walked up to the sink, leaning on the counter as she took a few deep breaths.
She raised her head to see herself in the mirror. She was a bit red in the face. Damn Drake. No matter how hard she tried, he would always get a rise out of her. She shook her head, partly in disgust at herself as well as frustration. How could she move on from him if she saw him every day? He lived at the palace, same as her.
It would have been fine, and easier to deal with had he not started to intentionally capture her attention with his sexy, determined eyes. She put a hand to her chest feeling her heart beat faster than normal. Even her breathing was ragged. That wasn’t good. It was too soon to be around him again. How would she get around this?
Bragnae sat down on a cushioned tuffet she pulled out from under the counter, and gave herself another minute to regain her composure. Then, there was a knock at the door. She sighed. This was how life would be as the queen. She’d never truly be able to escape for a moment alone without someone coming to check on her.
Stubbornly, she let the person knock again before she called out. “I’ll be right there.” She stood, pushing the seat back in its place, and looked herself over once more. Taking another deep breath, she opened the door to see Drake staring down at her.
Her heart rate skyrocketed again. “Drake, what are you doing?”
Without an invitation, he gently pushed his way into the small powder room, closing the door behind him. “Shhh, Bennett. I’m sorry but I’ve got to talk to you.”
He’s got to talk to me? No way. I’m doing the talking. “Why do you keep looking at me at the table like you are?”
The room felt bigger before he was in it. Now, standing over her, crowding her a bit, the room was shrinking. She backed up against the counter, and he continued to step forward. Summoning all her strength, she tried her best to appear confident instead of the reality of her about to melt on the floor in a lustful puddle of herself because of his presence.
“That’s what I want to talk to you about.” He paused to study her for a moment. “I missed you… and I’ve been an idiot. I should have told you this sooner. You’re everything to me. You’re my last thought before I fall asleep, and on my mind immediately when I wake up. I love the way your smile lights up your entire face, I love that you laugh at all my stupid jokes, and I love that you push me to be better — you make me want to be a better man than I was.”
Drake took a small step forward. “I care about you so much, and… I want to be with you. It hurts,” his hands clutched at the fabric of his shirt over his heart, “it physically hurts that I’m not the one you call yours.” He visibly swallowed. “I love you, Benn— Bragnae.”
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Her eyes frantically searched his for an ounce of humor or sarcasm, but there was none. He was sincere. He was pouring his heart out to her, telling her everything she wanted him to say before, and he chose now to do it. What a nerve. Suddenly she felt hurt and irate.
“How dare you say this to me now? You’ve had plenty of chances to tell me how you feel, and you wait until the day I get back from my honeymoon?” Her voice had raised a bit on that last word. “What is wrong with you, Drake?”
He dropped his hands to his sides again, and straightened his posture. “Plenty. And don’t think I don’t know it. But I’m not going to apologize for telling you this now.”
Surprised by his confidence, she gave him a questioning look. “What am I supposed to do with that? In case you forgot, you can’t be with me. I’m married now. You were there. You saw it.”
Drake stepped even closer to her. Their bodies mere inches apart. “Yeah, I saw it. Do you want to know what else I saw that day – on your face in particular? Longing, desire, maybe some regret – and that was just a few minutes after you said ‘I do’. Today, five minutes after you return from your honeymoon, I saw it all again. But this time there was more. I know you care about me, Bennett, dare I even say that you love me.”
He shifted his weight, looking down in attempt to gather his courage again. “I wouldn’t be telling you this – I wouldn’t be trying to ruin your marriage if I didn’t think you felt the same about me.”
I do, but I can’t allow you to think that. Not when my heart is still in this fragile state. “Well, I don’t.”
“Bullshit.” He narrowed his eyes at her. He had the gall to call her out, and at a time like this?
Unwilling to let him compromise her emotions further, she started for the door. She got it open a crack before Drake’s hand slammed it shut. She turned around to face him. His arm extended against the door, not allowing her to leave.
“What are you doing, Drake?” Anger and shock filled her voice.
His stature exuded confidence, but his face and words showed his vulnerability. “I know why you’re running away, but I can’t let you leave until I get all of this out. It’s… it’s okay if you don’t want to be with me. I know you said what happened in Vegas was a one-time thing. And at the time, I was so desperate to touch you again that I didn’t give a shit about the consequences. And now, it’s haunting me.”
Her expression and voice softened. “I was afraid of that.”
Drake looked deep into her eyes. “The day you got married, I sat in the parking lot trying to figure out whose life I was going to ruin: Liam’s, yours, or mine. I considered leaving Cordonia for good, but I knew that would hurt you. And to be honest, I didn’t think I could survive without seeing you regularly. So, I chose Liam because I just had to have you for myself.”
Bragnae listened intently. He was opening up to her, and she wasn’t going to interrupt.
“I walked into that church, spotted your door, and made my way to you. Before I could get there, Liam stepped out of his room, and told me it was time to go. And it was at that point I realized that Liam deserved to be happy too, and I couldn’t ruin his life by taking you away from him. So, I ruined mine instead.”
She so badly wanted to reach out to touch him, but something held her back.
“Bennett, you will never understand the level of pain and regret I have for letting you slip between my fingers. I know I hurt you. I know I didn’t speak up when I needed to. I know that I have no leg to stand on, but I couldn’t go another day without telling you how I felt.” Drake ran his hand softly down her arm. “I’d give anything to turn back the clocks, and tell you all of this before Liam proposed, but I can’t.”
“No, you can’t.” A lump of emotion welled in her throat. “Please don’t bring this up again. It hurts too much.” She turned away from him, hoping to avoid seeing the agony on his face. After a moment, Drake dropped his hand from the door, and she left the room.
~
Later that evening, Bragnae lay awake in bed next to her peacefully snoozing husband. She couldn’t sleep. Even when she and Liam had sex a few hours ago, she was distracted. Drake’s words had imprinted her mind, and she couldn’t stop thinking about what he said, and how he said it.
She hadn’t seen that kind of passion in Drake, when he was speaking, in… ever. The barrier of his friendship and duty to Liam always shielded whatever emotion he’d hoped to convey.
It was half past midnight. Liam had to leave early in the morning for Lythikos, so she didn’t want to disturb him with her restlessness. She decided she’d get up, and walk around the palace to help clear her thoughts. She threw on a camisole before slipping on a pair of pajama shorts. On her way out of the bedroom, she put on a jacket, zipping it up halfway.
Bragnae shoved her hands in her jacket pockets as she roamed the hallways of the palace thinking about Drake. As much as she wanted to hear those words from him, and as wonderful as they were to hear, she was more upset than infatuated. Why did he have to wait so long to tell her?
He had mentioned he wanted to break up their wedding, but changed his mind at the last second. Thinking about her wedding day, she tried to imagine what she would have done had he found her before Liam interrupted his plan. Would she have run off with him, or would she have denied him? Knowing her heart, and how desperately she wanted to be with him, there was no question.
But what about Liam? He wasn’t just this unbelievably attractive guy who was also a king. He was kind, tender, and loving. Even though it had only been about a week, she enjoyed being married to him. Granted, they were on their honeymoon the entire time, but still. He meant the world to her.
So, Drake corralled her in the bathroom to tell her all the things he should have said before, and expected her to jump right into his arms? She shook her head at the thought. Although, she’d be lying to herself if she said she didn’t want to. It was Drake, after all.
Looking ahead of her, Bragnae saw a bright light coming from a room. As she approached, she recognized it as the palace’s gym. The room had a wall of windows looking into the spacious area. She had only seen the gym in passing, never visited it for its intended purpose.
She looked at the vast array of equipment, cardio machines, weights, other contraptions geared towards different muscles in the body. A brief thought came to mind for her to go in there and work out – try to release the stress and pressure she now felt inside her. But before she could make any plans, she spotted someone.
It was Drake. He wore a black, razorback tank top, and a pair of red athletic shorts. She watched him pick up a set of free weights, forty-five pounds in each hand, as he pulled them up and away from the sides of his torso, putting his impressive wingspan on display. His back was turned to her, so he hadn’t noticed her gawking. Thank God.
The muscles in his arms and shoulders rippled with each repetition. His back glistened from the sweat of his hard work. Bragnae’s heart fluttered in her chest at the sight of him. The strength he possessed made her insides ache. Seeing him now reminded her of the few times his strong hands held her, picked her up, and touched her. She wanted more, but it wasn’t right. Not now. Not ever.
And suddenly she was mad again. Mad that she couldn’t have him. Mad that he waited so long to tell her. Mad that he conflicted her already unstable emotions when he confessed his feelings. Before she could think better of it, she opened the door and stepped inside the gym.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Drake set the weights back down, and squirted water into his mouth before wiping his face with a towel. The melodic tunes of American Classic Rock blared in his ears, helping to motivate his work out. He shook his arms out as he rested in between sets. He’d move up to the fifty pounders next.
As he turned back to the weights, he was startled to see Bragnae walk into his view. Why is she here? For only a moment, he froze up, not sure what to do, but then logic set in. He slowly removed his ear buds, one at a time, and gently tossed the cord over his shoulder.
He continued to stare at her, not wanting to speak first. Not after what happened earlier. Plus, it gave him time to catch his breath, both from the work out and his surprise.
“I couldn’t sleep,” she told him, crossing her arms over her chest.
Drake felt guilty. He knew why. “I’m sorry to hear that.”
“Well, you should be.” Her tone had taken an unexpected direction, and now the softness of her amber eyes burned with ferocity. It had been a very different reaction from what he witnessed from her earlier.
She’s mad at me? He scoffed. “What? Look, Bennett, I know it was a dick move to surprise you with this information, but I do not regret it. I needed to tell you. No matter your response, you had to know.”
“Drake, I was happy!” Her elevated voice stunned him, but he stood resolute as she continued. “After we made love in Vegas, you kept pushing me away. I knew then it was never going to happen with us. I made peace with that. So, I pushed the thought of you out of my mind, and focused on the other man that I love.”
He heard her emphasis, and his heart swelled at the thought of her loving him – actually loving him. The concept was unfathomable.
“I love him, Drake. I wouldn’t have said ‘yes’ to him if I didn’t.” And just like that, her words cut him deep. Now he had to put up his walls again, so he didn’t get hurt anymore.
“So, what? Did you just come in here to rub that in my face? If you did, you can leave. I’ve already been tormented enough seeing you two together.” He turned away towards the weights, hoping she’d take the hint to go before his heart shattered into a million pieces.
“And whose fault is that?!” She screamed at him.
Drake rounded on her, snapping his attention back to her livid face. Even with her as mad as she was, he still wanted to kiss her. “Mine! I fucking said that earlier!” He fumed, staring down at her. With almost a foot of height over her, she had to tilt her head back just to look at him.
“I need you to hear me right now.” Her voice leveled out again. “I’m in love with you, Drake Walker. And if you would have acted on what you wanted instead of trying not to hurt your best friend, I’d be with you right now. I was prepared to hurt Liam’s feelings because you were worth it.”
She was right. Everything she just said, as hard as it was to hear, was true. He hated himself.
Bragnae lowered her gaze, shaking her head. “And now it’s too late.” She looked back up at him, her eyes glossy. “I’m married to a wonderful man who tells me he loves me every day. I’m the Queen of Cordonia. I just can’t erase that. No matter how much I might want to.”
They looked at each other for another moment, letting the words sink in. This can’t be how it ends. She obviously had feelings for him, and desired him still. If his lack of action before was what kept him from being with her, then he wasn’t going to make that mistake twice.
As Bragnae started to walk away, Drake grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him, kissing her deeply. She protested at first, feeling rigid in his arms, but after another second, she melted against him. Her hands ran across his swollen biceps as she pressed her full lips into him.
She felt amazing in his arms, and even better was her kiss. He could feel the love pouring out of her, and the little moan she released told him she was enjoying the moment as much as he was.
Suddenly, he felt the pressure of her hands pushing against him, and the protests returned. He let go of her as she took a few steps back. Both of them breathing heavily, staring at each other. He waited for her to say something or rush out the door, but she didn’t. She just kept looking at him with hunger in her eyes. And he really wanted to finish that kiss.
He took a step forward, so did she, and soon their lips were locked again in a heated kiss. Their bodies pressed together so tightly, it’d take a crowbar to pry them apart.
Drake wanted her. That much he knew. And he also knew he’d do whatever it took to have her. Against his own desires, he tore himself way from her, gripping both of her arms as he looked into her eyes. He needed her full attention.
“You can still be the queen, and be with me if that’s what you want. If I can’t have you completely to myself, I’ll share you with the king. If that’s what it takes to be with you, then so be it. I need you, Bragnae. I can’t live without you.”
Her eyes fixed on his as she contemplated his suggestion. Even he was surprised by it, but he was past the point of caring. His morals were shot the second he agreed to have the fling with her in Vegas, regardless of Liam’s approval. And now, he was offering himself to her as someone she could fuck on the side of her marriage.
“I’ve got to go,” she finally said, taking another moment to look at him before she gently pushed herself out of his grasp.
Drake watched her leave the gym, as guilt and pain reentered his heart.

The next morning, Bragnae stood on her toes to kiss Liam by the front entrance. He would be traveling to Lythikos, and wouldn’t return until tomorrow. Whether that was a good or bad thing, she didn’t yet know. With Liam away, she could have time to sort through her thoughts, to find out what she truly wanted. But with him gone, she was afraid that would present a convenient opportunity to explore Drake’s proposal.
“I won’t be gone long, my love. Just an overnighter, and I’ll be back in your arms tomorrow.” He smiled down at her, brushing a strand of hair out of her face.
“I’ll miss you.” She pulled him in for another kiss.
His hand slid down to her curvy tush, giving it a hearty squeeze. “I’ll miss you, too. I’ll call you when I land.” Liam gave another kiss. “Goodbye, my queen. Have fun today.”
She smiled at him as Liam walked out the double doors to his limousine. Heaving a sigh, she turned around to head back to her room. As she walked out of the foyer, she saw Drake standing with his shoulder leaned up against the wall, looking at her. She stopped in her tracks.
Even though he stood several feet away from her, she could see the longing in his expression. She felt it too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He stared at her not moving a muscle. Everything had been laid out on the table. Now, they knew how each of them felt about each other, and Drake had told her he was okay with being the other man. Still not completely proud of his proposition, he was more than willing to move forward despite it. She was worth the risk and everything else involved.
Bragnae reached around her neck and unclasped her pearl necklace, balling it in her left hand. Curious about her peculiar behavior, he watched as she ascended the stairs, dragging the pearls over the polished banister keeping her eyes down and in his direction. His gaze followed her as she reached the top of the stairs, and turned right down a hallway. Before she walked out of sight, she looked right at him, and that’s when he knew.
Drake waited a minute. He pulled out his phone, and pretended to engage with it in case anyone was watching before casually walking up the red carpet-lined stairs. He nonchalantly looked down both hallways before following Bragnae’s trail. With many closed rooms before him, they all looked alike, but only one had a set of glossy pearls hanging from the doorknob.
