In Mamitas Beach there is wave runners that can be hire to get on board a yacht on its shores. Master Harbor doesn’t allow us to get people on board a yacht from Playa Mamitas beach without the help of a waverunner or jet ski, for safety reasons.

To go to Holbox on a yacht it is better to depart from Cancun, as on yacht from Cancun is a 3 hours ride, while on sail boat can be much more. It’s recommended to stay in Holbox for the night and taste it’s out of this world gastronomy. Food in Holbox is every time getting richer and tastier. Stay more night if able. If it’s whale shark season, going to Holbox is a must.

By the way, we’ve also got Playa del Carmen whale shark yacht tours. You can take a yacht in Playa del Carmen and go to Holbox or Contoy island but it would take several hours. It takes 7 hours to get there and can be bad for you if you are not a long-trips person.

Simbar, you say... this isn't Simbar directly, but this is a snippet of Simon's stag party before their wedding. Disclaimer here: I have never been to a stag party since nor a bachelorette party, so this will probably be very inaccurate to what actually happens there but this is just my take.

Simon flobbed back on an armchair in the living room of the ski lodge he and the guys were renting for the weekend. It had been Matteo who had had the idea to fly them all out to Canada for his stag party.

As they had arrived yesterday, they had already been all over the town. He was glad that it was summer, so they wouldn't need to ski. He had never tried it, you didn't get much snow in Cancun after all.

Outside of the normal stag party stuff, the trip had been quite educational. Simon English was what it was, and not much else could be said about Nico, Pedro, and Ramiro. Matteo and primary Gastón had done most of the communicating with the locals and translated everything to everyone else.

"Gastón, can you please get off the phone and join us here, in the real world!" Matteo yelled as he slumped the sofa next to Simon.

"Well I am sorry, but you all forced me to come here without any notice, so I had to leave my fiancee to unpack on her own. We just moved back a week ago." Gastón said as he entered the room as well.

"Well, you maybe should have told me, instead of hiding it from me, your best friend." Matteo shot back. Simon sighed, Matteo and Gastón had been on this ever since Gastón and Nina had come back from England. Matteo had taken the "secret" engagement as a personal offense.

"And then you would have told Luna, and she can't keep it for herself and tells Nina."

"Do you have so little faith in me? When have I ever betrayed you?"

"You didn't tell me that she was coming to Oxford, so when I first saw her, I thought I was delusional and seeing things."

"Okay, you win" Matteo finally relented. To Simon, it was quite jarring to see Matteo give up, but that was something that only Luna and Gastón occasionally managed to do.

"Have you heard from the others," Simon asked and broke up the conversation, "we shouldn't have let them go without either of you. They have probably already gotten confused by some sign or something."

"They'll call if they need translation for something" Gastón sighed "I can't go everywhere with them, just because I am the one who is fluent. It's not my fault you others didn't pay attention in English class, or French for that matter."

"You and your special relationship with England" Matteo laughed "Has it always been that way... Anyways, do you know what annoys me? It is Simon's stag party and we don't know a one embarrassing about his childhood. Why didn't you want your brothers to come?"

Simon had never been particularly close with his brothers... he loved Rico and Julio dearly, but they had never formed that kind of bond that he had with his friends.

"Yeah, we nearly know anything about them," Gastón echoed Matteo. "Aren't they part of the wedding party after all?"

"They are, but I don't know if there is anything to know about them. Julio is the brainchild of the family. He is studying business in the states at this very moment. Rico is much more adventurous, he does have a bachelor's in communications, but I don't think he'll ever work in an office. He is what you can call universally sexual, everything and anything goes" Simon started talking "You'll meet them at the wedding, but don't you dare to ask anything about my childhood from them, actually they don't even know that much, since they are younger. One that can really embarrass me is Maya, but she wouldn't dare."

"I am very sad that I won't get to give a speech," Matteo whined, "I would have a thing or two... we lived together after all. For example, I could talk about that time where you were pretending to be asleep, but clearly were not..."

"And that's why you are not my best man, Matteo," Simon interrupted him. Matteo looked like he was about to shoot something back at Simon, but Gastón interrupted him again

"And don't make me regret my decision about giving you the part,"
