“. . . think this is an alien thing?” Jimmy asks thoughtfully, glancing sidelong at Lois, who for some reason looks increasingly concerned. “Like, a ‘like recognizes like’ or maybe some sort of weird psychic bond or genetic instinct?” 

“Oh god, Clark has a kid,” Lois says, putting her hands on her face sandwich and all and looking less and less concerned and more and more panicked. “Clark has a baby! A kid who’s a baby! And also a teenager! I can’t be a dad, my dad is the worst, what kind of dad would I be?!” 

“The ‘mom’ kind?” Jimmy suggests, but Lois clearly isn’t listening. 

“I’m a terrible dad!” she says despairingly, gesturing frantically at Superboy with her sandwich and nearly dropping it. Clark just keeps an eye out and figures he’ll just catch it if she does. “I don’t know how to dad! And how am I gonna afford to send you to college?! I should’ve had eighteen years to get you a college fund!” 

Clark really does love her, he reflects contentedly. 

“You wanna be my dad too?” Superboy asks, tilting his head and blinking at her, and Lois balks.

She pulls out a pen; points to a few different places for Clark to sign. Clark glances over at Lor and Jon both melted into functional liquids on top of Carl while he purrs at and pets them, and then lets out a quiet exhalation. A flicker of something painful crosses his face as he does. 

Bruce is an alpha, obviously, and therefore can’t imagine what it feels like to be an omega who can’t nurse their own pups no matter how desperately they need it. Can’t imagine what it feels like when one of those pups is young enough to need milk enough that they’re starving without it, but he can't provide it for them. Can't give them what they're asking him for.

Les Surfs par A. Pelbaum, 1963

Les Surfs est un groupe vocal familial originaire de Madagascar, formé par six frères et sœurs de la famille Rabaraona : Coco, Pat, Rocky, Dave, Monique et Nicole. Le groupe est initialement connu sous le nom de "Rabaraona frères et sœurs" et se fait remarquer en 1958 après avoir remporté un concours de chant à Madagascar, interprétant des succès des Platters. Ils commencent alors à se produire à travers Madagascar.

En 1963, le groupe est invité à Paris pour représenter Madagascar lors de l'inauguration de la deuxième chaîne de télévision française. C'est à ce moment qu'ils prennent le nom Les Surfs. Leur premier grand succès en France arrive avec la sortie de la chanson "Reviens vite et oublie", une adaptation française de "Be My Baby" des Ronettes. Cette chanson reste en tête des hit-parades pendant plusieurs mois en France, Espagne et Mexique.

Les Surfs deviennent rapidement une révélation musicale des années 60, se produisant à l'Olympia et participant à de nombreuses émissions télévisées. Leur style s'inscrit dans le mouvement yé-yé, très populaire à l'époque, et ils tournent dans plusieurs pays d'Europe et d'Amérique latine. Ils ont enregistré dans plusieurs langues, dont le français, l'anglais, l'espagnol et l'italien et ont partagé la scène avec des artistes renommés comme Tom Jones, Les Rolling Stones, et Stevie Wonder.

Panel removed on the side, the drapery continuing as a pouf behind. Pointed bodice, trimmed with velvet on the reverse, revealing a small white embroidery. Chemisette-plastron, bubbled, held by velvet bars, with similar collar; same trim around the tunic. Plain sleeves, cut on the top, to reveal a burst of surah similar to the chemisette. Surah bow on the left shoulder.

I think I understand what Kelly Marcel is doing. If you look at her writing credits it all becomes clear.

First you have Fifty Shades of Gray, which if Dan Olsen is to be believed had a script markedly better than the book. Engaging tension, a protagonist who doesn't react to everything like a baby duckling in an abbatoir, some genuine humor and a plot that made sense. For this work, Marcel was constantly screamed at by Erica Mitchell and then fired before the second movie.

Everything since then has been Marcel's revenge. You don't care about comprehensible motivation? Here's Cruella, all vibes, no logic. Eat it up you filthy animals. Or don't, I don't give a shit. Do you actually care about ethics? When I lie to your face about how Walt Disney treated P.L. Travers and edit out how fucking insufferable they both were, will you care? Because the studio will be thrilled I sanded off the rough edges of the truth and enough people will watch to make them their money back.

And the Venom movies are her full expression of villainy. Did you start to care about these characters? Fuck you they're dead now. Were you thinking about the implications of that scene? Wake up you soppy babies it doesn't matter. Nothing matters. Are you troubled that I invoked abuse by name repeatedly? Does it bother you that the victims either had to eat that shit and move on or die horribly? Too fucking bad! Yes I made characters sympathetic on purpose and then I hurt them indiscriminately. Streetwise homeless ladies, troubled scientists, haunted cops, little girls, the tormented and the average and the evil, all just meat for the grinder. Then I gave the grinder a name and pathos and hurt him too. Do you care now? Do you believe he loves the sad little man he berates and beats, whose belongings he destroys out of spite? I called it abuse. I showed him going on a murder spree. But you don't care, do you? You don't want heroes. You don't want growth. You don't want to see people do the right thing. You just want the tension of pain and the relief of its ending. I can show you the depths underneath but you'll forget them the moment I give you a pretty visual and some nice words. And then the moment you relax I'm gonna start hurting you again.

If Kelly Marcel or Tom Hardy (who also did a bunch of the writing) were known for being just...real stupid, I would assume this was an accident, but they aren't. They're both competent people with some understanding of human nature.

I must therefore believe that the Venom movies are an act of sadism against the audience, the film industry, possibly against the art form itself. You will be given no true relief, no closure, no satisfaction. You won't even be allowed to relax into nihilism because they will lure you back into caring with sympathetic motivation, with artful depictions of suffering. And then they'll say "fuck this guy" and bite off his head, kill her with a symbiote, throw him on a spike, drop a church bell on her. Did you want meaning? Did you want hope? Did you want a little warmth in this cold cruel world? Fuck you. Suffer. Hate this movie. Bankrupt the studio who made it. Your boos mean nothing. I've seen what makes you cheer.

Donc ce serait Adam qui aurait fondé la société magique tel qu'on la connait aujourd'hui. Et lors de ses derniers années, il a essayé d'aider les non sorciers. Je pense qu'il a dû se rendre compte trop tard que la société magique qu'il a fondé a causé pas mal de problèmes sociétaux entre les non sorciers et sorciers. Et que du coup il a essayé de se rattraper une fois devenu plus vieux. Mais aussi en transmettant sa volonté à ses apprentis. Et Walhberg dans sa jeunesse ne comprenait pas l'idée que les forts protègent les faibles, j'imagine que c'est suite à la mort de son maître, qu'il a fini par comprendre la volonté de ce dernier. Et que c'est justement à travers Mash qu'il voit la volonté d'Adam et que celui ci peut enfin la transmettre au peuple ! Par contre on voit trois apprentis dans le flashback, il est passé où le troisième ?

Par contre quand Cell parle du fait que lui et Mash sont des bébés artificiels crée par Innocent Zero en utilisant un cadavre et son sang. Je trouvais qu'Adam dans sa jeunesse ressemblait physiquement Mash. Alors j'espère me tromper mais est ce que vous croyez qu'Innocent Zero aurait utilisé le cadavre de son mentor ainsi que son sang pour créer Mash ? Honnêtement ce serait glauque si c'était le cas !

And it's precisely through Mash that he sees Adam's will, and that he can finally pass it on to the people! However, we see three apprentices in the flashback. Where did the third one go?

On the other hand, when Cell talks about the fact that he and Mash are artificial babies created by Innocent Zero using a corpse and its blood. I found that Adam in his youth physically resembled Mash. So I hope I'm wrong, but do you think Innocent Zero used his mentor's corpse and his blood to create Mash? Honestly, it would be creepy if he did!

The dialogue-free scene of Omega returning to the universe in Arc of Infinity and stumbling dazedly throughout Amsterdam and watching a puppet show before he begins to disintegrate.

The ending of Mindwarp as the structure of the story is sent off the rails by the Time Lords pulling the Doctor out of time before the climax and sending Yrcanos to assassinate Peri within their visually-warped time-bubble.

The ending of Ace's arc in Curse of Fenric as she dives into the sea and emerges having confronted her lingering fears from her old life, as well as her earlier fight with the Doctor and the idea of her confronting her mixed feelings about her mother through meeting and loving her as a baby.

The Doctor confronting and rejecting the survival-of-the-fittest worldview in Survival, and the show's final scene as Ace declares the TARDIS her home and the Doctor makes his speech.
