Ezra and Sabine reunited!!!

Im thinking about The Call again. Ezra could hear the Purrgil out in Deep Space, where sound doesn’t carry. It was his first instinct to follow them. The oldest of them watched him, and connected with him. A Purrgil fell beside him, and Ezra was closer to it than to his family.

The Purrgil circled below the asteroid Ezra and the Ghost would land on, just as the wolves circled the door into the past and future. Hyperspace eyes from the Purrgil, hyperspace eyes from the wolves. He saw the Loth-cat and Loth-wolves in his dreams. They showed him the way. He spoke freedom to the planet; the Purrgil came.

They renew themselves below the gas. They saved his life beneath the gas. He led them to take the refinery. They took him from Lothal.

The Jedi said the Force had a destiny for everyone, but they had to choose to follow it. Ezra answered the call. He followed the Purrgil.

Ezra always dreamed his parents would come back for him. That he had a family, somewhere out there, who loved and understood him. He was just lost, that's all.

Barovia has been a horrifying place of despair, but... at least there's a reason behind it. Something knowable, actionable. And it was there he finally discovered his name, and the identities of his parents. He learned why they couldn't be with him; why they could never rescue him and teach him what it felt like to belong somewhere.

They didn't belong, either. And now it's his turn to rescue them.

He doubts they'll ever be the family he envisioned. He's not a little boy anymore. He's learned how complicated the world and the people within it can be.

But there's still that child's heart inside him, and it aches for them to be together. For someone to hold him and tell him that he's all right. That he's everything they hoped he would be. Just once.
