Gurmeet Ram Rahim convicted by CBI court in journalist murder case

Panchkula : Special CBI court has convicted the Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in the murder case of journalist Ramchander Chhatrapati.

The court will announce the quantum of sentence on January 17. The court has also convicted three others, including Nirmal Singh, Gurdeep Singh and Krishan Lal.

The case pertains to the murder of Chhatrapati in 2002 after he published an anonymous letter in his evening newspaper “Poora Sach” written by a female Dera follower who accused Gurmeet Ram Rahim of rape. Chhatrapati was shot five times outside his house. He succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

Gurmeet, who is serving serving 20-year imprisonment for two counts of rape of female followers, appeared before before the court through video-conferencing.

The State government had pleaded that Gurmeet should not be asked to be present personally keeping in view the law and order situation that may emerge. The court had on January 8 accepted the Haryana government’s plea in this regard.

Kargil Vijay Day celebrating glorious victory

Pakistani military general Pervez Musharraf had a misunderstanding that he would write a new history by overcoming India. About 30 thousand soldiers were sent to the battlefield. During this war, there was a tremendous patriotic movement in India and the whole country stood in the support of the Indian Army. Over 500 veterans of the military army were martyred in this war. The Kargil war lasted for months. In the initial era, Pakistani soldiers used to take advantage of the grapple due to being present at the top peak, but after the Air Force got the air security cover, it was difficult for them too. After arriving and reaching the peak, such attacks were carried out on the enemy army that the enemy forces were forced to flee and escape. Even medals are given from Guru Ji Ram Rahim Ji’s side to those who have shown sheer courage and valor for their nation. The jawans are very close to this Saint’s heart and we sure hope the Nation loves them equally dearly.

Most of these were young people who lost their lives, had not even seen their life beyond 30 years. This is what pains us the most and these soldiers deserve every bit of love and respect from each and every Indian. These warriors made the highest sacrifice for the country and sacrificed themselves as their duty and religion. Due to the defeat in the Kargil war, economic and political instability in Pakistan increased to such an extent that General Parvez Musharraf took to form the government and declared himself the country’s president. दस-दस साल जमा बीस साल पहले ही कैद हो चुकी थी. पर अब तो साल की गिनती का भी कोई मतलब नहीं रह गया. क्योंकि यहां तो बाबा की पूरी उम्र ही कैद कर दी गई है. यानी अब जब तक ज़िंदगी है सलाखों के पीछे ही है. गुरमीत राम रहीम और उसके तीन गुर्गों को पत्रकार रामचंद्र प्रजापति के कत्ल के इलज़ाम में पंचकुला की सीबीआई कोर्ट ने ��म्र कैद की सज़ा सुना दी है. खास बात ये है कि राम रहीम को इस सज़ा की खबर भी उसी जेल में दी गई जिस जेल में वो 2017 से कैदी नंबर 1997 के नाम से पहली किश्त के तहत मिली बीस साल कैद की सज़ा काट रहा है.

ज़िंदगीभर जेल में रहेंगे बाबा

2009 में बाबा राम रहीम कैसे थे. 2019 में कैसे कैसे हो गए. और 2029 में तो ना जाने कैसे होंगे. क्योंकि अब ये तय हो गया है कि पहले से साध्वियों के बलात्कार के जुर्म में 2017 से 20 साल की जेल काट रहे बाबा अभी लंबे वक्त यहीं रहेंगे. क्योंकि रामचंद्र छत्रपति मर्डर केस में अदालत का फ़ैसला आ गया. पत्रकार के कत्ल के लिए बाबा को उम्रक़ैद की सज़ा मिली है. अब ज़िंदगी भर बाबा गुरमीत राम रहीम जेल में रहेंगे.

अब मौत ही दिलाएगी जेल से आज़ादी

2017 में बाबा जब जेल गए थे तो बाबा कि आंखों में तेज था. चेहरे पर रुबाब थे. बाल काले और चाल जवानों वाली थी. मगर अब जेल से खबर मिल रही है कि बाबा की आंखों में मायूसी है. चेहरे पर झुर्रियां हैं. दाढ़ी और बाल सफेद और चाल झुकी हुई है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक अब बाबा को पहचानना भी मुश्किल है. अदालत ने उन्हें पत्रकार रामचंद्र छत्रपति मर्डर केस में जो उम्रक़ैद की सज़ा दी है, वो उन्हें उन 20 सालों के अलावा काटनी है जो बाबा को साध्वियों के साथ बलात्कार के मामले में मिली है. यानी मरते दम तक जेल में ही रहेंगे बाबा. बाबा की अभी कई और करतूतों का हिसाब होना अभी बाकी है. कुल मिलाकर बाबा अब ये मान लें कि जेल ही उनका स्थाई पता है.

गुरूवार की दोपहर बाबा राम रहीम को ये खुशखबरी पंचकुला में सीबीआई की एक विशेष अदालत ने वीडियो कांफ्रेंस के जरिए दी. पत्रकार रामचंद्र छत्रपति के मर्डर के मामले में सीबीआई के वकील ने फांसी देने की मांग की थी. मगर अदालत ने बाबा को कुल 14 साल सज़ा-ए-बामुशक्कत दे दी. आपको बता दें कि 24 अक्टूबर 2002 को दिनदहाड़े बाइक पर सवार दो शूटरों ने छत्रपति को पांच गोलियां मारी थी. जिसके बाद 21 नवंबर 2002 को दिल्ली के अपोलो अस्पताल में रामचंद्र छत्रपति की मौत हो गई थी. अदालत ने बाबा राम रहीम को उम्रकैद की सज़ा देने के अलावा उनके तीन सहयोगियों को भी उम्रकैद साल की सज़ा सुनाई गई है.

आपको बता दें कि छत्रपति की मौत के बाद साल 2003 में सिरसा पुलिस ने हत्या का मामला दर्ज किया था. मगर राम रहीम की ऊंची पहुंच के चलते केस में आगे कुछ नहीं हुआ. बाद में बलात्कार के मामले के मामले के साथ-साथ 2006 में पत्रकार रामचंद्र छत्रपति मर्डर केस को भी अदालत के आदेश पर हरियाणा पुलिस से लेकर सीबीआई को सौंप दिया गया. शुरूआती तफ्तीश के बाद 2007 में सीबीआई ने इस मामले में राम रहीम और उसके तीन ��ोगों कुलदीप सिंह, निर्मल सिंह और कृष्ण लाल को आरोपी बनाते हुए आरोप पत्र दाखिल कर दिया. इसमें राम रहीम को इस हत्याकांड का मुख्य आरोपी बताया गया था.

इस मामले में कुल 46 गवाह पेश किए गए थे. मगर राम रहीम को गुनहगार ठहराने में जिसकी गवाही सबसे ज्यादा अहम साबित हुई वो कोई और नहीं बल्कि राम रहीम का अपना पूर्व ड्राइवर खट्टा सिंह था. खट्टा सिंह ने बाकायदा कोर्ट में गवाही दी थी कि गुरमीत राम रहीम ने उसके सामने ही पत्रकार रामचंद्र छत्रपति की हत्या करने का हुक्म जारी किया था.
