12 Body Donations By Dera Followers

Dera devotees of Malout, have made a huge contribution to medical research

From Feb 2018 till date 5 men and 7 women bodies contributed

Dera Sacha Sauda, block Malout is making a significant contribution towards humanity, where on one side they are contributing to welfare works, on the other hand, they are contributing towards eye donation and helping medical students in their research with body donation. Since February 2018, 12 bodies have been provided by Block Malout of which 5 are men and 7 are women. These have been donated to various medical colleges for new medical research.

Details of Bodies Donated are as follows

On February 9, 2018, Pushpa Rani Insan (76) wife of Darbari Lal, Madan Lal Sharma, Brahmanand Sharma, on 7th April, Hansraj, on 14th May, Lal Chand Insan son Gangaram, on May 29 Thana Singh Singh’s son Mukhtyar Singh, on May 30, Bhagwan Devi Wife Hansraj Guglani, on 19th May Vijay Kaur, wife of Swami Kapoor Singh, Lila Rani Insa (65) wife Swaroop Hansraj, on December 18 and Jasvir Kaur Insan (63) on March 19, 2019, Karnail Singh Insan, on 2nd April Mani Devi (90) wife Kanaram, May 11 Mata Swarna Devi (77) wife Ved Prakash, 26th May, Lailu Ram Insan, on 2 July Baba Deep Singh

These bodies have been donated with mutual consent of family members as part of 134 welfare initiatives are undertaken by Dera Sacha Sauda followers. Responsible members from Dera Sacha Sauda mentioned that Dera followers have filled pledge forms for body donations, eye donation, organ donation, etc. So as per their will, these are donated by the family members to medical colleges for research purposes. Thousands of pledge forms are filled by Dera Followers following the teachings of His holiness Baba Ram Rahim Ji.

Eye Donation and Body Donation a boon for medical science: Dr. Harinder Singh

Dr. Harinder Singh, District Homoeopathic Medical Officer said that body donation and eye donation are great donations. He said that donating these Dera devotees are doing a huge favor on Society and they are a great gift to the world. This helps the medical students to do undertake path-breaking researches. Earlier due to ignorance, in fact, it still persists in most parts, getting bodies to undertake the research is really difficult and many times students have to work on dummies which are not possible for newer studies of drugs and diseases. Thanks to Dera Followers, this is no longer a problem in this part of the country.

Body donation largest donation: Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal

Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal, Chairman, Sir Jyoti Medical College, Sirsa (Hari) said that body Donation is the largest donation in the world because we are able to provide better medical facilities through studies carried on bodies and all the doctors of all major hospitals are treating us today in a better manner. Medical science has made a lot of progress by doing research on the dead body. He thanked the Rev. Guru Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji, under whose inspiration and guidance Dera is undertaking such auspicious initiatives.
