“what? ...oh, yes,” she said to herself with a chuckle, remembering mingyu was elected as the gose class president in previous episodes ( and carats didn’t miss that he seized the chance to hold her )

then she greeted with the staffs politely as always, wearing a black clop cardigan and a matching color camisole, dark gray pants in a relaxing silhouette, both were soft materials, matching the mt concepts for the day

also wearing glasses ( important )

she just tittered while hoshi, cheol and jeonghan kept adding mingyu’s tasks as the class president

“you guys living to give him a headache for real, arent you.”

she sat on the place nearby the door, then the next thing carats realized was wonwoo silently sitting next to her ( seized the chance guy #2 )

after most of them gathered, she popped up with a question, “isn’t it been a while? doing ttt?”

after everyone got at the table and cheered, joshua finally asked her help for his kimchi fried rice which took one eternity

after playing the games ( she kept losing and got a lil tipsy already ), they cleaned the place for once and shifted to the next game

minghao claimed from the distance that since kiki’s good at playing basketball she should be given a handicap

so she gave a shot from across the pool while everyone watched in silence expecting the miracle but she failed the first attempt

kiki: what did u expected i'm half drunk

in the ep.3 part, she chilling and half asleep while her roommates mingyu and dokyeom are both hyperactive from early morning

kiki isn’t the type of not good in the morning usually, but this is the day she didn’t need to wake up before 10 am for a long while so she just kept sleeping peacefully, it might be the first time in ttt that she hadn’t get up early than most of them

kiki: wow you actually look like your dad

while seungkwan trying to get on the unicorn float, she was still sleepy but automatily turned on the camera and started recording ( lately posted on weverse ofc )

this drawing was a pain in the ASS to make for some reason?? my first go at him was way too close to canon for my liking so i threw myself out there n got to a place i liked thankfully, plus halfway through i forgot how to draw hands and almost cried (joking) cause i thought i had them down at this point!!!!— but trust me, even if you have 9 years of art experience (like me unfortunately. someone take me out i’ve had a good life) ur gonna forget the basics sometimes. warm yourself up and try again cause i did and i eventually remembered 😭😭😭

doing these character studies and drawings have seriously improved my way and process of drawing faces which is so nice 🥲 i think i just need to start looking at the bigger picture again so i don’t forget how to draw everything else. like hands. or full bodies. foreshadowing ;)

i wanted my ted to look just a wee bit unsettling because my general consensus of him is that he is totally fucked in the head, lmfao. born a nepotism baby who ended up scamming people more for fun than for actual cash, horribly sexist but dependent on women to validate him, paranoid as all get out, selfish and self centered as all get out, just his canon personality’s all in one and turned up a notch. 🥲

i don’t think he’s totally beyond redemption, especially because he’s been cooped up with ellen, who is a highly decorated in the engineering field black woman, benny who’s gay and gorr “FREEDOM FIGHTIN’ LIBERAL🇺🇸🦅🦅🔥🔥” ister for 109 years. in that time he’s definitely slipped up and they’ve definitely corrected him (along with nimdok too LOL). i think with some intensive therapy, a shower and a trip to the tolerance museum (south park reference) he’ll be a little better.

i’m a mild ted/AM shipper (as seen in the bottom right hand corner) but more in the “ooohehheh they’re flirting!!… oh no. oh this is not going to end well. this is definitely a toxic relationship” way and less the “awh cute maybe they can have mutual redemption arcs!!!” way because i love seeing gay men suffer romantically (don’t cancel me i am a bisexual man suffering romantically i swear😭)

i’m not too partial to any other ships honestly, ted/ellen makes me nauseous (just cause of the way ted talks about/treats her in the franchise, no hate to my tellen shippers i promise) and i can only see gorrister with his wife 🥲 with benny and nimdok i have no clue if either of them rlly have romantic interests but im not a fan of them with anybody so erm… i do love the whole groups found family vibes though :”””] they’re all cute together and the mutual suffering but all the while growth is comforting to me

Anyways, I will be honest I have some mixt feeling rn :00

About the clock keepers themselves?? I don't have that much fear tbh, they are supernaturals in their boundary, and contrary to number 3 they don't have hearts that Tsukasa or anyone else can consume. I think they will be fine (or I am being delusionnal to protect myself, you choose rip) I love them very much they will always live in my heart.

I was REALLY not happy with chapter 109, having to be focused on little crumbs was really hard when I have been waiting for their focus for more than 4 years. Having the joke that is chapter 109 absolutely destroyed me, they are my fav mysteries and I want something good for them, unfortunately I am not sure they will get it.

Chapter 110 gave me some hope because yes what is happening is not normal, and I am glad it was adressed. For me it was obvious af it' wasn't, but I really needed confirmation from the author to be sure.

I have always said that the clock keepers were unique and Teru confirms it in this chapter with the official translation:

'The clock keepers are clearly unique even among the school mysteries, and go beyond the average supernaturals'

They are n°1, the only mystery with three beings in it and with a human, one of the last two mysteries left with the other one being the main focus on the manga. Of course something is strange with how they are treated right now. What is happening?

None of them used their time powers expect for Mirai once as the judgment. The stuff they are saying to punish Tsukasa seems more like jokes and they aren't treating the trial as they should be (but this may be just because chapter 109 is bad af lol). Mirai can litteraly see the future if she wants to.

The owls, their shikigami/familiars don't move at all when their masters are attacked, they are in their own boundary, their shrine. Maybe their powers are related to the clock Natsuhiko destroyed (and I would be sad af if this is the reason and nothing can be done) we just don't know what is happening. Do they have a plan? Are they playing a part (which would be funny because some stuff about the clock keepers are related to theaters and plays) Did someone forced them to do something? We don't know anything about the clock keeper, them being in the same spot as n°6 before we got to his story.

We just know they are special among the mysteries, they are the oldest ones, Kako and Mirai are made of gears and a human has a seat in it.

I am pretty sure Teru had this conversation with Akane here because he knows the clock keepers are special.

The two mysteries being the more visible here being the god of death and the clock keepers.

It's also the only mystery Hanako didn't want to destroy right away because they could be useful. All mysteries had their yorishiro destroyed/were planned to be destroyed once they got students in danger. (expect for Tsuchigomori who just, accepted it as a precaution rip) The clock keepers are the only ones who got a free pass on this even after getting the whole school involved.

Their powers are just above a lot of the others, and everyone know how useful it can be, so once again why aren't they using it?

Not caring about their yorishiro is also super strange. Especially when the one the most against Hanako's plan to destroy the yorishiros in the manga is Kako.

A mystery has to choose a yorishiro to be a proxy of the gods, to be able to have this status.

They have to choose a yorishiro so they don't run away from the job, it's the thing the most important to them so they would never destroy it. They have to protect it. Teru assuming they don't care is just so so strange. Why wouldn't they? That's the whole point of what a yorishiro is! They even hide it in one of them as an extra precaution! A lot of things go against what has been established before for yorishiros it's just plain out suspicious.

Kako and Akane are also really really duty centered characters. Akane will do a job even if he doesn't want to if he is asked to do it and Kako is the one being represented as the observator over the mysteries to see if they are respecting their sworn duty.

I also don't know what to think about their yorishiro for now. What does it open? A door to another room? Is it to protect something? Is it to activate another automaton? Can it be related somehow to the old clock keeper of the present? (delulu land again)

Idk I am really curious. I really hope we won't have the answer right away though, they were defeeated way too quickly and I hope they have more stuff to them. We got Hakubo's and Sumire's story and a part of the Yugi twins beforec their yorishiro got destroyed, so I hope it will be the same for them. That we will have time to get to know them a little bit more.

And after all, neither Nene or Hanako want to destroy any more yorishiro for now, and Tsukasa apparently lost it at the end of the chapter (we can see the hand who had it being empty. But AidaIro has sometimes a problem of coherence with their right and left and objects disappearing and appearing which I can understand with the rythm they have to keep with the manga, so I am not sure)

I have a lot of fears about this tbh, because maybe AidaIro will just give us the reason why they are weak rn and continue the story without explaining anything about them, not giving them the spotlight I think they truly deserve. The worst for me would be they work for Sakura, I really really hope it's not this, but I am really scared :///

So I will go for this for now, even if this is really depressing for me, but I don't want to have my hopes up with how the writing have been really ups and downs since the start of this arc (the only good chapter for me being chapter 108).

I am still really intrigued by what is Akane's real duty and why is he so reluctant to do it but still does it? Why Akane said they had to do the trials now? Honestly I have a lot of questions and I know no matter what happens, the clock keepers make me super sad (in a good way) and happy at the same time. And this last chapter with Mirai and Akane was a blast (I am actually writing a whole document on them rn it's long I will link it later ahah)

I also wonder if any of the clock keepers can use the others' clocks or not? Does this mean like Kako can go full OP while using all three powers at the same time? (let's go grandpa give us everything) I am curious since they are a mystery where having an object is important for their powers (Kako and Mirai being able to use their with bare hands because they have their clocks on them, I can be wrong about it though)

We are also left with only Akane as n°1 rn and idk what it will mean for him.

So yes full of fears, but also I know I will find crumbs to go delulu on :DD I would try to stay full positive but with the focus being on Tsukasa and on how secondary characters rn are mostly as 'objects for the plot' (I mean, look at Nene :')) I can't really ://

But be sure, I will forever love the clock keepers even if the plots are not respecting them

Not letting Marissa verbalize and process her trauma 1000% forever and ever amen. The show learns by the end of s1 that they can keep hurting her without much recompense. Oliver holds a gun to her head and bamboozles grown ass adults yet she shoulders all of the blame in the aftermath. Christ. Her father MOVES AWAY TO BE A BETTER PARENT BC HE CANT STOP SLEEPING WITH HIS EX? Please. How anyone came up with that and thought that was good writing I will never know. Marissa's SA'ed and nearly r**** by her boyfriend's brother and never says the words out loud or processes it because the shooting looms larger. Disgusting. Back in s1 Luke is more apologetic of his affair than Marissa's own mother is and HE'S the one who has to leave town? which leads me to

Getting rid of Luke made no sense. Instead of making Luke/Julie happen they should've had Luke/Marissa 2.0 happen. There was so much there to mine. Sometimes the show acts like they were a nothing relationship and other times like 109 we see they have deep-rooted love/fondness. Rushing RM (though they're my loves) after their 101-108 slow burn shot them in the foot since they were so uncreative later on. But then again TPTB were so reliant on the actors' mirrored personal lives that I'm convinced if they'd put RM off to s2 they would've butchered them thanks to the irl breakup. (This is still so insane)

Getting rid of Anna also made no sense. She was liked by the gen pop, she had good chemistry with everyone! What a damn waste

Seth/Marissa friendship!!!! It is so cute to think Seth is the one boy in Marissa's life that isn't falling all over her. They share the same music tastes, they have the same favorite book, they grew up privileged + depressed, they're neighbors, they're dating each other's besties, their families have a storied closeness, they've dated the same person, etc. It is SO insane how little they actually interact.

Not exploring the Jimmy/Kirsten dynamic more. I rewatched the pilot a few months ago and the hints to their history are so compelling. I remember thinking their tension was good enough to last several seasons. Cutting that out to uphold the sanctity of SK in s1 ended up being for nothing since s2 messed with SK even worse! So why!

Never utilizing Alan Dale well enough. Not only do they kill him for no reason, his death literally does nothing but give us an iconic coda and funeral scene. That's literally it. Having Caleb around while Kirsten goes to rehab is so much more compelling than having her go after he's died. And making us watch Caleb/Lindsay/Ryan for what seems like half a season is so unbelievably boring and ridiculous. Why are we supposed to care. This is taking away from Kirsten/Caleb material! which brings me to

Never giving Kelly Rowan much to do. What a goddamn waste. She absolutely kills her late s2 arc but then she leaves rehab two minutes into 301 and the Charlotte storyline mostly revolves around Julie. Jesus. People talk about the favoritism going on on that set with the younger actors (as they 1000% should and we should do it more), but there was some serious shit going on with elevating Melinda constantly and shafting Tate/Peter/Kelly forever. Especially Kelly. At least she was there and not essentially let go like Tate was (and Tate was a ~big name~ regular from the pilot!). But you can tell Kelly's got some feelings about how the show went for her and her screentime/importance.

Not cutting the Johnny storyline two minutes into filming 304. They had to know Mischa/Ryan D had no chemistry. We're supposed to believe Marissa's having some sort of emotional affair but there is absolutely nothing showing that to us. It's everyone telling Marissa she's got feelings for him, and Mischa doing her job well enough to convince us it's sketchy/complicated, but they have one (1) conversation in 306 that's mostly about Johnny's father or uncle that no one cares about. which brings me to

WE DONT CARE ABOUT GUEST STARS. stop spending so much valuable time on them. we just wanna see our s1 babes being cute and supporting one another that's literally it

Du Guangyi is the true basketball god btw. he makes the best shots and whomever he picks to win, win.

So I've been going down a rabbit hole of Lone Star fashion lately, and I came across some interesting ones I thought I'd share.

First, there's this TK shirt from 4x03, which is notable only because I honestly never paid close attention to it before, probably because I was too distracted by the upsetting scene. It's the one he's wearing when he's on the phone with Carlos at the end of the episode. I wish he would have worn it at a less upsetting time, because I really like it on him!

Next is Marjan's wedding outfit! I doubt I could pull it off, and I also wouldn't spend almost $500 on it 😂 But still, I love it.

And the Too Nice for the Y Sweater! I actually found one for sale for under $100, which surprised me. I expected it to be in the $300-500 range at least, judging by what a lot of the other shirts and sweaters they wear on the show are going for.

Also one of Carlos' season 4 shirts can be found on ebay...for $109. Why does this seem so expensive when the sweater at a similar price seemed reasonable? 😂 I guess a cashmere sweater seems like it should be expensive, but a plaid shirt really doesn't. Also I like the sweater a lot more. I ranked this particular Carlos shirt 12th out of 16 in my Carlos dad shirts ranking, so clearly not my favorite.

Finally, Nancy's cute pajamas from 4x10! They're available from Nordstrom for $60...a little more than I'd usually spend on pajamas, but it's not in the absolutely ridiculous price range that a lot of the outfits they wear on the show are. Am I tempted? They are really cute.

Demons' Emotions & Body Language

Because why the hell not talk about something that has probably been written/talked about a hundred times before? XD I'm in the mood to write about Mephisto because my brain is occupied by thoughts of him in some way 99% of the time.

This was spurred on by once again seeing Mephisto's great teeth appreciation and it reminded me of how much I actually love looking at his facial expressions in general.

He's just so fucking good at expressing himself, lol. And then I begin to wonder...

How much of it is staged/faked/put on, how much comes natural to him? If even at all?

Did he have a period where he tested out all the different facial expressions humans tend to make in certain situations? Did he go and study them? Is it like a game for him? Knowing the Human-Emotions-101 better than even humans themselves, just to have even more power and control over his cute toys?

^Ch. 46 We know he's a little stalker gremlin, so people watching is one of his greatest hobbies - it would certainly help him out with accurately mimicking their body language.

Did he have a rough time when he first started to make contact with humans face to face? :( Because I know that even humans struggle with body language and facial expressions. Considering Mephisto is a pro at acting all human or demon (depending on which outcome he wants to reach, making certain behaviors necessary to manipulate everyone's actions) with how much time he has spent with humans and his obsession with them and their creations...

What is it like for all the demons possessing human bodies?

Amaimon seems to struggle a lot using the muscles in his face, if that side-story panel is anything to by. XD

Moving a sack of flesh can be rough, buddy. I feel you there, my resting bitch face often scares strangers and I have to always check in to make sure I don't look as dead as I feel.

Amaimon is obviously able of actually showing emotions, evident in the manga, but I think there's one he expresses more often than others: anger.

Thinking of anger... There's Satan.

^Ch. 105 Before he came into (regular) contact with Yuri he could only show anger when threatened/searching for Yuri. All other expressions seem to have been actively taught to him over a certain span of time.

Same with Rin when he was born.

^Ch. 109 Though the threatening circumstances might have triggered/amplified that little ugly burning potato's anger. :x

Looking towards Lucifer is pretty much the same, though his anger is often more of the hidden kind and not as openly expressed. Same with Mephisto though. Maybe it's their age (though their behavior doesn't exactly reflect maturity, both of them are brats in their own rights) or simply who they inherently are.

The rest of the demon kings are... definitely emotional and expressive too, which is weird because why would they feel the need to mimic human behaviors and expressions? (Might be reason for another ramble, this post is already so much longer than I intended for it to be XD)

In conclusion...

All of it makes me think that anger is the one emotion that demons might inherently feel and express, anything beyond is something they need to actively learn about over time.

Which is incredibly sad the more I think about it.

I also think most demons (possessing human bodies) have to consciously think about what kind of facial expression/body language goes along with whatever they're feeling - if they want to outwardly express them.

Do they even feel the need to do that in the first place though? And if yes, why? Considering they don't have bodies in Gehenna, it wouldn't make much sense for them to inherently have some body language if they don't have bodies that support it, would it?

And yet we've seen how feral demons can be, Rin is a prime example when he gets overwhelmed by his demon side. All snarling, showing teeth and growling and it's something I (and many other people) love incorporating in our writing all the time because feral demons and the way they threaten each other is just peak content that I desperately need to continue living. XD

“Hm?”

“I can’t sleep.” 

He blinks his eyes open, turning his head towards Beatrice and blinking at her for a few seconds. She was sitting on the bed, back against the headboard and her eyes looking straight ahead, “What’s happening? You sick?’

“I’m just anxious.” she whispers, wringing her hands together, “I don’t know why, I really don’t know why, but I can’t–” she gestures to her head, “Keep quiet in here.” he turns the lamp on his side and rubs his face before sitting up next to her, “I’m…sorry for waking you.”

“Hm,” he shakes his head while rubbing the sleep away, “Don’t be sorry, I’m your husband.I worry about you.”

“It’s just…you have work in the morning-” she stops speaking when his arms wrap around her and he brings her to his chest,kissing the back of her head and then pressing his cheek on her hair. Beatrice, for some reason, felt like crying - pregnancy hormones, maybe?-  when she nestled her cheek to his bare chest, his cologne still clung to his skin like a second layer and she felt such comfort when it hit her nose. “...I’m rambling.”

“A little.” he replies, ‘But that’s why you are cute.”

“Maybe I should…go to the clinic tomorrow. To check.” she whispers as she snuggles close to him, “I just…I just feel so anxious, what if this nausea is too strong? More than normal?”

He huffs into her hair, kissing her scalp, “Baby, you are carrying two babies,it won’t be the same as Nikki’s.” she makes a little sound and sighs, her warm breath hitting his naked skin as she stares towards the wall. He makes himself more comfortable and then basically picks her up easily to set her on his lap.

“What time is it?” she asks softly, face pressed to his chest.

“Doesn’t matter.”

“If it’s late you can go back to sleep.”

He laughs quietly, exhaling air through his nostrils because he couldn’t believe that she still was acting as if this was a problem of some sort, she wasn’t a burden to him but he also knew she wouldn’t think about it that way with her anxiety so high, “I’m fine.” he reassures her, cupping the back of her head to angle her forehead up, his lips touching the skin there only to lean back and smile down at her, “What’s making you anxious?”

‘I dunno.”

“Hmmm…” he rubs his thumb below her eyes, she warns him of the eye boogers but Rooster doesn’t care one bit, she doesn’t even have anything on them which shows, really, that she didn’t sleep at all since they got home from the bar, “You’ve been up for a while,huh?”

“...I mean…m-maybe.”

“Maybe?”

She sighs, burying her face on his chest because he just knew too much about her, ‘I don’t know, throwing up back at the bar fucked me up a lot, I really thought that Penny was going to find out about it,Roos. Especially when you followed me,I–” she frowns, “I felt like I lost control a little bit.”

Bradley hums with his chin propped on top of her head as she blurts everything out, her hands clenching his bicep and her mouth touching the curve of his elbow when he brings her closer, ‘I know.” he says after a while, another kiss to her scalp, “I know,gorgeous. You did your best. And you managed to work till the end, no need to leave early either.”

“Hrm.”

“Baby.”

“I’m sorry Rooster, it’s just,” she covers her eyes with both hands, her fingers scratching her scalp with an annoyed grunt leaving her throat, “I just feel like I’m too anxious for no reason, I don’t know why, maybe I’m just hormonal again and that’s…that’s what happened. And I just want everything to go okay - shouldn’t have read those testimonials online, about how the multiple pregnancies made people sick or were risky or-”

Rooster grabs her hands, interlacing with his own and bringing them close to his lips so he could the back of each. He smiles down at her once her eyes turn guiltily up to his, her lashes long and touching her cheeks the second she looks away from him, “We talked about how the internet can make you feel like you are dying when you have a papercut.”

“Yeah…”

“Baby, you are doing fine.” he begins, “You are and, you know, there’s nothing much that can be done beyond what you are doing now. You are helping our babies grow, and they’ll be strong and beautiful, just like you and Nikki are.”

The mention of Nicole makes her smile again, genuinely this time. “...I should check on her.” she whispers, “Since I can’t sleep.”

She untangles from his grasp slowly before he could stop her, but he does slide his bottom towards the edge of the bed as Beatrice put on her slippers, “I can go with you.” she turns to face him with her hands wringing together, “If you want to.”

“I…do y-”

“It won’t bring me any trouble during the morning.” he smirks, “I promise you that.” he holds onto her hips, bringing her closer to him yet again so he could press a kiss to her stomach - the little bump was more obvious now- and then propped his chin on top, “I don’t want you there, alone with your thoughts.I know how bad they can be,babe.”

Beatrice smiles thankfully, combing his hair with her fingers - her nails gently scraping his scalp and making him groan happily with his eyes fluttering closed- before she cups his cheeks, tilting his head upwards, “You are too sweet,Lieutenant, did anyone tell you that?”

He smiles, pupils enlarging, “My hot wife did.”

“Hot wife,huh?”

“She’s really hot and she’s pretty, and she’s funny and she’s literally my dream come true.”

Beatrice’s eyes glaze over with tears, her head turning to the side so she could laugh in disbelief and playfully shove his shoulder with her hand, laughing while sniffling as she steps back with him following her every move, “If it helps you,you are her dream come true,too.” she says, kissing his lips sweetly before grabbing his hand so they walk out of their bedroom towards Nicole’s nursery.

The dogs wake up the second the door creaks open, Eleanor standing up before her brother to sniff at the known intruders with her tail wagging, “Hi Ellie.” Beatrice whispered, petting the white dog with her head craned towards the crib to see Nicole. Their daughter was sleeping, thank God, but it was the way she was sleeping that made Beatrice tilt her head in confusion “Roos?”

“What?” he’s gently petting the siblings with a sweet smile, looking up at Beatrice as she walks closer to the crib.

“Look.”

He gives them one final pat before standing next to his wife, his mouth parting because Nicole was sleeping with her little legs propped on the gate and her arms spread to the sides, tiny mouth open as she breathed, “Oh my god…it looks like she’s doing yoga or something.”

“It does.” Beatrice does take a closer to look to see if she’s not hurting herself, only for Nicole to move around again and lie with her entire body on the mattress, making a little sleepy sound in her throat that resembled Rooster way too much. “...she’s sleeping at least.”

“That she is.” he stands behind her to hug her waist and kiss her temple, gently swaying her in his grasp, “You are still nervous though.”

“A little.”

“Do we have a reason?”

“Hah,” she laughs humorlessly, “We do not…unfortunately.”

“It’s okay though.”

“It’s…not. Not really,Roos.” but she leans on his chest with her smile widening when he kisses under her jaw, “...I just am feeling a lot and I don’t even know what I’m feeling nor how to explain it.”

“That’s anxiety for you.” she laughs because he’s right and she laughs because he has that amazing power of controlling her heart while melting it at the same time,”We can stay up and talk if you want, about anything you think about so we can get rid of those dumb voices in your noggin.”

Beatrice looks back at him with a smile that reaches her eyes, her hand coming up to touch his cheek and rub below his cheekbone, “Alright.” she says, “But out of the nursery, she needs to sleep and I’d hate it if she woke up right now.” she looks back at Nicole one final time before holding her husband’s hand, leading them out of the bedroom - after saying bye to the dogs - and back on the hallway. She sighs, rubbing her eyes with her fingers and then letting go of his hand only to rub her entire face.

Rooster gives her the space she needs by standing a few inches away, leaning against the wall to watch her pace in a small circle in front of him. He tried to think what could’ve triggered her anxiety so much and so intensely that night, he thinks it was more than the fact she was ‘hiding’ something from their friends and her boss…and her family…and Mav- well in reality there was a lot inside of her mind right now and he knew she was holding it in for their own sake.

So he waited for a few seconds, then he said, “Do you think we should just tell them?”

“Huh?”

He shrugs, “Tell everyone else about the twins, your parents included?”

“I’d…I mean I still want to go to the clinic,Roos.”

“We’ll go later this week, because I know it’s eating you alive,I can see it,Bea…and this stress isn’t good for you nor the babies.”

He was right, of course he was. Beatrice sighed with her shoulders dropping as she walks back to lean against the wall just like he was, “...I think so, I…I want to, I mean…I don’t like holding it in so much, but this stress sucks so much.”

“And I know you.”

“You do,” she smiles, “Too well. I think that…um moment at the bar kinda made me a bit upset. “

“I know,honey.”

Beatrice chews her lower lip, then furrows her brows, “I’ll be okay. I’ll be okay…I’ll be fine. It’s just my brain going nuts right now.” he hums in agreement, then brings her closer to his side, so she can place her temple on his shoulder, “...can I tell you something?”

“Always.”

“I am a bit scared of my parents’ reactions.” he was about to question why but then he remembered how they acted when Nicole was born, nodding to the side as she says that, “Because…you know, they can be…intense.”

Rooster nods again, kissing the top of her head, “I know.”

“At least Mav isn’t like that.”

“He might faint though.” he says, “Maybe…just pass out in front of me and I’ll have to throw water on his face so he wakes up.” Beatrice playfully swats his chest and laughs, with him joining a few seconds after she started. “Or slap him, that works.”

“You’d never slap him.” she says, ‘...would you?”

“Hmmm,maybe a thwack to the head, fast and kinda painless.”

“Oh God you are so awful.”

“Wasn’t I sweet a few minutes ago?”

Beatrice rolled her eyes as she turned to face him, cupping his cheeks to bring their lips together, “You are awfully sweet.” she giggles, “And i’m the luckiest girl in the whole wide world for having such a sweet,kind and understanding husband. Thank you,Roos.” another kiss, this one was a bit longer than the last because he wrapped his arms around her waist again, trapping her against his chest.

Their foreheads touched and they stood there, in the barely lit hallway with the sound of their house and the street outside being their personal soundtrack. Beatrice sighed, “I don’t think I’ll fall back asleep.”

“We can watch some tv,” she parts her lips, ‘Yes, we. I’m staying up with you,I can handle it.”

“But-” he arches his brow, almost challenging her to continue, “...oh fine. I just don’t want you to get distracted tomorrow.”

“I’d just be distracted,” he purrs, sliding his hands to her ass, cupping the soft cheeks with gusto, “If you were there, wearing any of your clothes and looking absolutely delicious, enough for me to take a bite and probably wonder how many rules I was breaking just by breathing the same air as you were.”

Her cheeks turned a violent shade of red, her lower lip rolling into her mouth and her eyes turning glassy because how dare he be like that? He kisses her one final time, then backs away so they could walk downstairs to their living room, “Peaky Blinders?” she suggests, smiling when her husband went ‘oooh’

“Fuck, what episode were we on?”

“I don’t remember, but I think since Nikki is asleep we can find out.”

“Hell yeah.” he even walks faster, the sound waking Jolene up and making the pittie look from her comfortable spot on the couch towards the two in surprise. She wasn’t used on them waking up so late anymore.

With Rooster preparing something for them to drink - aka, water because Bea didn’t want anything heavier- she sat down on the couch with her hands on top of her slowly growing stomach. She looks down at the bump, was it a bit bigger than Nicole’s? Maybe it was too hard to tell yet…she just framed it with her hands, thumbs pointed to her belly button and fingers cupping the rounder part of her stomach.

She smiles however, in thanks that Rooster could see this happening…she just wanted him to have a good time before he left. She knew it’d happen, and she was already mentally preparing for it, even if it hurt, even if it was bad, she is with him for four years now, she needed to get used to it…and not worry too much.

He was good at what he did, he was smart and he was careful.

And he’d always come back home for them. She knew that. “I brought your water.” his hand appear on her vision, the large glass filled to the brim made her smile as she adjusted her position on the couch - Jolene’s large head already landing on her lap, “And,” he shakes his phone for emphasis, “I have an eye on Nikki.”

“Thank you Roos.” she whispers, waiting until he sat back down, ‘Are you sure you want to stay up with me? I won’t mind if you go to bed.”

“I’m sure.” he sips his own glass of water - he still refused to drink anything she couldn’t and her heart swelled with adoration - “I managed to do great with only three hours of sleep, gorgeous. This is child’s play.”

“Really?”

“Back in college when my mom started her hospital visits.” he mutters, clearing his throat when he turned the tv on - immediately setting on the lowest volume just for safety - eyes latched on the screen, “She’d have to stay the nights there and I’d always wake up from time to time to check on her.”

“You did a good job.” she smiles, kissing his cheek, “You are just caring…about everyone in your life.”

“Everyone I care about.” he smiles back at her, “Like you, Mav, some of my friends.”

“That’s not true. You love them all.” “I like them on some days of the week.” he laughs, finding the last episode they watched together, “And some days I don’t. Now, focus on the tv missy. We need to ease that anxiety of yours.”

Boris Pavlikovsky as your boyfriend. (headcannons) + SFW

Now before you read this, let me just remind you that this isn't sunshine and rainbows. We're talking Boris Pavlikovsky, a teen drug addict with trauma, so don't come for me for “romanticizing” abuse. Thanks!

Sometimes asks you to do things for him, including stealing; solely just to test your limits and how far you'd go for him.

Argues with you for the smallest reasons, but it doesn't take long before he absolutely loses his shit and starts begging and asking for forgiveness.

+ Whenever this happens, he always cries. ALWAYS. He hugs you from behind and buries his head on the crook of your neck despite being taller than you, then starts gaslighting you then and there so that you don't get mad anymore.

Whiny. “Wiesz, że nie to miałem na myśli, kochanie,” / “You know I didn't mean it, love,”

Whenever he's having a bad day, he'd take it out on you by giving you drugs for some reason. If you didn't take it, he'd force pills down your throat. Whenever this happens, you'd threaten to leave the house and he wouldn't care, in fact he's pushing you even more to leave.

Not a minute after you leave the house, you have 109 missed calls and over 576 texts from him begging you to come back and that he's worried and sorry for what he's done. He only does this whenever you leave the house after an argument, he never actually message or call you.

If you're not home by night, he'd go looking for you without even trying to call or message you. He always knows where you're at.

Despite being a ridiculously and relatively horrible person, he still manages to spoil you rotten when it comes to gift giving. He mostly just steals though, but you appreciate it. The first time you started dating, you told him not to steal if he's gonna gift you anything because you don't need it, but he didn't listen and you've grown to get used to it.

You're his personal therapist, but being his personal therapist makes you want to see your own therapist.

Whenever he relapses, he becomes all quiet and clingy. He'd always hold your arm or kiss the top of your hand, tug on your shirt whenever you're cooking in the kitchen, and becomes the little spoon when cuddling at night, all while frowning.

You're stuck with him. Leaving him means slowly killing yourself. He'd somehow planted this seed into your mind that you'd feel so bored and unloved if he wasn't by your side. You ALWAYS come back.

You've tried healing and breaking up with him multiple times but he just never lets it happen. He forces himself to not sleep, to look tired, wear the same clothes three days a row, and make himself look haggard in general just for you to pity him and come crawling back to him. He likes to make you think he's wrapped around your finger, but he really isn't. It's the whole other way around.

He insults every guy you used to like/date to you whenever he doesn't know what to talk about or when he's bored.

Gets jealous VERY easily. You can't even order in a damn restaurant just because he's jealous, so he does it all the time.

He surprisingly takes you on cute little dates like star gazing, picnics, a walk in cute places and such whenever he's having a good day/week.

You like to pick out his clothes for him because he's sometimes too lazy to actually create an outfit and not just grab the first thing his hand feels in his closet.

He made your parents think that he's a good person somehow. They love him.

Likes to speak different languages at once because he thinks it's funny to see you getting offended upon not understanding a shit he's saying.

Big baby narcissist. He hurt you, you reacted to him, therefore now he is the victim.

He loves your cooking.

He made a letter for you in ukrainian, a really long one, but he knew you couldn't understand ukrainian. That's exactly why he wrote it in that language.

Half of your refrigerator is filled with vodka and energy drinks while the other half are vegetables and fruits. You always cook healthy food just because you're scared that he might die from kidney failure.

You provide for him. You never complained about it though, and he never really asks for much. Although he did steal about thirty bucks from you once just to buy snacks.

When you get into a BIG argument, he actually hurts you. He shoves you into a wall, slaps you, punches you — mostly in your lower stomach, pulls your hair and such. He won't stop unless he sees a bruise.

He locks you in a room, mostly your basement, and he turns the lights off with nothing inside. You'd be banging so hard on the door but his pride is too high for him to open the door for you. You got the cops called on you multiple times but you always covered for him despite having a whole fight, and he'd say sorry and be guilty and all that.

He never thought of cheating.

He can't show love through words and he gets all shy whenever you do. You love spoiling him with words because that's only the ever time he's soft.

He's a horrible man, but he's a vulnerable boy. He can't take the topic of his parents, it upsets him.

He once got jealous of you because your parents “cared for you too much” ...they were average parents.

Whenever he gets too drunk, he starts crying and rambling about how much he hates his parents and how he's not useless. He tries to prove it to you and it just breaks your heart to see it. He gets so vulnerable and reaches his breaking point, he'd have full on panic attacks, fall asleep after, and wake up the next day going on with his day like nothing happened.

He doesn't like it when you see him vulnerable so he distracts you from it but it never really works on you. You just pretend that it does so that he won't overdo whatever he's distracting you with.

Admitted that he in fact did love you a lot when you had a heart to heart. You just spent all your time hugging and comforting him after this.

You try your best to understand him but you rarely ever do. He's misunderstood and will always will be.

He doesn't try to make people understand him because doing that would need the mention of his parents. He still can't bring himself to talk about them.

You took psychology for college just so you could become a psychologist after you graduate and be his own personal therapist. You never wanted to be one, but seeing that people like him existed made you want to.

No matter how bad your day is, if he's being sweet, you'd force yourself to act nice to him because he's barely ever sweet.

He loves you :)

First of all, I have to say I love his facial expressions a lot. He looks satisfied and really in a great shape. Boy... you love to be the mysterious guy, huh? ♡

Hmm... so yeah... it looks like we're back to this Tsukasa existence case. He seems to be unknown to the majority.

A thing that pleases him apparently, and I assume... the number that has him as his yorishiro, too.

Now, one time he added a sweet detail of being 'Amane's younger twin brother'. He has a specific way of introducing himself, one I find really interesting.

He is Tsukasa. Himself. His own self.

Hmm... the Yugi part... has he ever voiced his full name before I wonder? People like his assistant, Akane, Teru, Kou referred to him as 'Yugi Tsukasa'. When it's him... only Tsukasa? At times he has me questioning myself how much depth his words in here really hold...

Despite a few diffrences, Yugi Tsukasa, Yorishiro Tsukasa, Tsukasa... are one and the same person, aren't they? They are 'you'. All of them are 'Tsukasa', right?

About Akane calling his name...

Yeah, he just took the string after Tsukasa informs he is 'Tsukasa' (aka the little who took his big bro's girl and went with her to the boundary) and added the 'Yugi' part. Thing is... weren't the names, titles, whatever written on the list he was reading from? So... wasn't Tsukasa's name written? What was written on it then? No.7's yorishiro? (if they knew but it doesn't look like it) '…..' Yugi? Was some other description about Tsukasa written in there or…???

Uhh… Tsukasa can be 'unknown' for various of reasons… maybe because he is a hidden yorishiro, maybe because he wants to be a mystery so his plans can keep going, maybe Amane himself doesn't want anyone to know about him… maybe there is something more serious to it… makes it really interesting to consider.

How much little is known about him by the other characters? Hmm... Doesn't that make it interesting you'll want to all about this 'hidden' 'unknown' 'mysterious' boy? Who is he really? What is he here for? What's he after? Ahem, I'm calling Nene's curiosity in here.

Cool enough, No.1 is bringing the ones that may have a hand in the destruction of the clock no matter how small that can be to a trial, but... aren't they forgetting... 2 more people? I mean, let's say those are the ones who led to that happening some way or another... don't we need to also include the girl who made the fuss so that can happen? The guy who actually broke the clock? I mean, they were mentioned later or at least the girl. It's funny only the guy with the idea was found 'guilty'. Doesn't this court bring whoever has the smallest hand in this situation to 'Justise'? So, Tsukasa who had the idea is guilty, but the girl who had him to go that far as he put it, is not? let's not forget Tsukasa mentioned her need of having their yorishiro destroyed for her wish to come true. How dangerous. Yet... nothing was said by any of the 3 on that information? What kind of lame court is that? Has the destruction of their clock really got them stupid as Teru put it? What happened to them later is well-deserved for all their ignorance. Let their childish court served them well. Seriously, I had some cool thoughts on how No.1 might go with the court and what issues they might consider yet the actual court felt funny... all of these much important issues were ignored by them? They focused on a small issue! What's the destruction of the clock in comparison to a guy clearly voicing out he is after your yorishiro and did the whole clock thing to get that achieved and as a matter of fact broke into your boundary together with the kannagi girl going after your yorishiro and got caught by one of you keepers? What's that in comparison to a thing you showed your strong disagreement on before?

Instead of focusing on the 'small' picture, focus on the big one that has it included! What they got out of their idiotic act makes sense. Judge the situation better next time, if there will be one.

Speaking of all their love for their precious clock... I wonder why didn't they make any sort of move when Amane was playing with their precious thingy. Or even brought it up against him instead of that joke. That would have been better I assume? Hmm... maybe there is a catch in there?

How could your heart or even ethics allow you to put a little child in such position? How shameful.

Really, Mr. Amane this arc he is either up or down. One time up, the other down. His heart won't be able to take it with either turn. Talking about his downs, he is on the floor. Talking about his ups, he is in outer space, everything is glittery around him. Wooh. Such a funny change of mood, I wonder if it will keep on going.

Seriously, he got 2 confessions from little Nene 2 chapters in a row! With a short amount of time between them if I might add! At this case the third should be the final, right? let it be when she is back to normal, in a normal setting please. I still wonder if he will say 'me too' or... not. Things are complicated with him. We can still hope for things to go smoothly.

You go little girl! I wonder if her hand ended up hurting her after giving the metal? bird such a hard slap, I mean... with the help of physics -that cried a lot this chapter because of her and Tsukasa- for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. I will hope the slap wasn't too hard for her own sake, especially when she is just a little girl.

Teru- Student body representative.

Woooh, so sad his charm didn't work. lol Aside from Kaku's reaction... the other 3, let's leave Nene aside, Hanako as well. We don't take the reaction of a person who likes/doesn't like you. Tsukasa! Mr. neutral's comment...  have to say it's extremely hard for me not to agree with him, he is the guy who reads faces, sees past what people say and right into the desires in them. So... Teru has a dark destructive side. he kinda share it in common with Hanako, huh? The one who wants to become a dinosaur and burn everything that comes his way. they can be similar in some cases, including a lil bro complex one. Funny.

Though, at times I wonder if Tsu has anything against the Minamoto clan, being exorcists and all. They seem to be a thing unneeded in his ideal word, just like the 7 mysteries. If he shared a some kind of bad past with them... hmm...

Ok, moving ahead of ourselves, let's leave the last case for now and talk about the court so far, some serious talk.

Let's see...

With Amane's case the keepers ignored a thing that can be taken as a serious 'motivation' of his, "you failed to repair the clock in the past and to get to use it to achieve what you want, that's why you're mad and decided to break it instead" and went for "your shameful thoughts" instead. Why?

With Nene's, they forgot already mentioning her motive "life span" and accepted a "want to confess" excuse. Why?

With Teru's, Akane could have easily proved his innocence in the issue.

So why didn't he say a thing? Did he want Teru to get proved to be the guilty one?

"You'll be brought to justice in our court of law." Little Mirai said? Or so the keepers claim?

Seriously? Justice? That's one big word. All 3 keepers were being so very naive.

The funny thing is that Akane sided with Nene while trying to prove her innocence. Wow, what a 'court of law'.

Why Akane?

Oh boy... seems you've got yourself into a tight spot, Akane. Maybe you should have given your action a little bit of thought. Same goes for the other 2 keepers with you, they got some serious ouch moment out of this the funny court showdown they put.

I assume Teru will still side with him to face an 'enemy' of them both, still. A thing for Akane to be grateful about I think.

Akane... he could have defended the 3 cases. Teru was with him all the time and they rushed to the clock together, Nene was with the class he is a part of getting ready for the performance they were going to make when the clock got the serious damage, and Hanako was frozen when he found him. He made a joke of Tsukasa getting Hanako crying on the floor as he put it, right? Akane with a few sentences can put an end to the whole court. Let's see No.7's little brother and investigate those who 'might' be working with him. But, duh. There really was no need for all that 'meaningless' fuss.

At the end, with what Tsukasa voiced out, they should have really gone that way, but they just got things upside down of their own sake instead. Due to what? Due to them acting stupid with their claimed 'court of law'.

What kind of childish court was that? It felt like comic relief for the most part, really. If it wasn't for Tsukasa, things would have been really boring. Thanks to him I had some great fun! As always, making things fun and exciting is his specialty after all.

Talking about him... I assume it's time to move to the last case.

I kinda wanted to hear about Austria-Hungary, more specifically how Aushun reacted to her death.

oh boy, and no your not, absolutely I can talk about Edith. I'm gonna put the whole thing under a cut bc major tw: for death, mentions of war, and people neglecting their own health because of guilt.

okay so, Edith Stafania Rosemarie Edelstein; she's the as you said representative of the Austro-Hungarian empire, she was born June 8th, 1867 making her 148 years younger than Liesl, 52 years younger than Ludwig, and 109 years older than Franz.

She's terribly stubborn and overdramatic, the second one especially when she's proven wrong; like no one likes being proven wrong but she'll be driven to full out fits over it. The stubborn one more pertains to when she decides something is true it must be true, there's no other way things can be. In her defense on both of those she was very small.

She started counting Ludwig as her best friend as soon as she was old enough to know what a best friend was, Ludwig thought it funny that his little cousin was so attached to him if anything. He called her 'Ditte' which is technically the Danish diminutive of the name but I thought it was cute so it stays.

Liesl as all older siblings do got annoyed by Edith more than most but also would have thrown herself in front of a movie vehicle for her; y'know as all older siblings would. There was a fairly large age gap in between them that made their relationship somewhat odd, Liesl was good at helping take care of Edith when she was a baby, but once Edith was old enough that she wanted to play with Liesl they didn't spend nearly as much time with each other because Liesl didn't want to play most of the games Edith did. (She would fairly often though indulge her little sister in playing castle and being the queen of said castle)

Edith was Roderich and Erzsébet's for lack of better term "miracle baby" (even though considering physical age the title would probably be more accurately applied to Franz) after they lost their second child they decided they still wanted more kids, and tried for a couple decades before giving up. Then when they made up and resumed their relationship in the mid 1860s in comparatively no time at all they were expecting Edith. So she was special, the only one of their kids that was planned and the only one that was born in wedlock (not that important now but this was the late 19th century so bit more important then); as much as they don't want to admit it their world revolved around Edith.

in 1918 she was eight years old, physically. She had been sick the whole war, that wasn't unusual. It didn't make it easier to bear, but they weren't that worried either. Until the end, unlike the last person in the family to pass--Heidi, Holy Rome--there was no gradual decline at the end. She was the same amount of sick she had been the whole war, no concern, she'll be on the mend any day now. Then one morning someone went to go check on her and she was dead.

as for their reactions; by the time Edith actually passed in September on 1919 Erzsébet had already gone back to Budapest and would find out about her daughters death through a far too cold and formal letter. This would happen on both sides but Erzsébet would blame herself a lot, way too much "if i had just stayed with him she could have survived, if I hadn't left, if-" ignoring the fact that their were a dozen reasons the empire crumbled. Her staying might have not changed anything. But she was convinced for a few years this was all her fault, it woukd effect her even years later when she would find out she was expecting Franz; her initial reaction would be to be terrified at the idea of having another child, because that brought about the possibility of losing another child.

Roderich blamed himself sure, but unlike Erzsébet he didn't stop there. It was everyone else's fault too, it was the ww1 Allies who killed his daughter. It was Vuk's fault for killing the archduke and setting off the war. It was Adéla and Evžen's fault for leaving the empire. He even blamed Gilbert and Ludwig at some point. It was everyones fault, her blood was on their hands as far as he was concerned. He buried his daughter because of everyone else's actions, not his own. It would take him years, decades even, to get over this mentality Victim theory. And when he finally would, it would have gathered a lot from both the world wars, and even some things before to the point that his entire belief system would crumble around him. The entire thing would be set off on Edith's Birthday.

as he did every year Roderich would walk himself down to the cemetery with some flowers and some new little trinket he thinks she would enjoy. And he has a conversation with his daughter, "good afternoon. Happy birthday Mäuschen; you're how old now? 120? impossible you were born just yesterday" starting in 1992 Erzsébet & Franz would join him. By 94' so would Liesl, and a year later so would Ludwig.

Roderich and Erzsébet spend a lot of time questioning what could have been done differently, what could have changed how everything turned out, if there could have been a way to save her. But sometimes, like on sunny days in June, they have to stop asking 'what if-' and just start remembering the happy little girl they had.

Audio Drama Sunday - 27th August ✨

Happy Sunday! I had the busiest week this week but I did find time to listen to a few of my faves! 

🌲@hellofromthehallowoods (130) this episode made me gasp out loud TWICE. Tell me why I somehow like the director so much more now I know she moonlights as a centipede? I was momentarily so caught up in the pure relieved euphoria of Mrs Wicker standing up against the church to save her son that it hit me like tonne of bricks when I realised that ‘No, Kelly-Anne, someone does hurt your children….. YOU HURT YOUR CHILDREN!!!’. I feel sick about it. And oh, the thought of Buck and Marco on a date is just so cute. But, OH, oh dear, oh shit, oh no. I think it might me a testament to the queerness of the audience that none of us really considered that would be an issue. Every week I find new reasons to gnash my teeth listening to this show and I LOVE it. 

📻 @monstrousagonies (109) Call this a little self destructive, but I would listen to the siren on the radio. Also, she needs to realise her own worth! The number of times an afternoon has been wasted because my friends and I can’t make a plan for what to do. Sometimes you need a little coercive influence if it’s done with love and pure intentions. 

🥾@doyoucopypod (7) Oh no!!! There was one sound effect in this episode that I personally did not enjoy (the squelchy one) I feel that this really does not bode well for the others who are in and around the dead zone still!

man, it kind of bums me out how the majority of the time that kyle's jewishness is a focal point in fan content, it's for a negative reason. if kyle's contemplating the fact that he's jewish, it's because he's being bullied or harassed, because he's feeling insecure about his appearance or self worth, because he's feeling lonely and isolated, because he's having a crisis of faith, etc etc. these are all totally valid themes and character arcs to explore, of course! i think many jews like myself may be able to relate to these themes, thanks to living in a society where antisemitism and other shitty behaviour runs rampant. but i think we're really missing a golden opportunity to explore the complex and compelling positives of being jewish. where's his love for his community? where's his excitement for an upcoming holiday? where's the comfort he might take from prayers? where's his curiosity or knowledge about his family history? where's his passion for debating interpretations of the torah? these are also valid, relatable and in-character directions you could take things!

i know that this trend is probably heavily influenced by the presence of this pattern in the show itself, but it's still a bit sad. or maybe gentiles (non-jews) shy away from celebrating his jewishness because they don't feel confident in commenting on a religious experience that they've never had. to those people, I would ask, why is it you feel comfortable speculating on the hardships of being jewish, but not the joys?

that isn't to say that you're not allowed to write about the former if you're not jewish, of course! regardless of religious background, anyone can empathise with his struggles because, at the end of the day, we're all human, and it's our humanity that unites us. but i'd encourage you to push yourself out of your comfort zone, do a little research and have some fun celebrating and supporting his jewishness once and awhile :)

today I am thinking about... fat tweek! and fat butters! and fat wendy and heidi! maybe throw a lil fat kyle in there too! I'm sick and tired of fatness being equated with immorality when it comes to south park (and the world in general tbh) and it makes me sad that so many people seem afraid of portraying any of the non-cartman characters as plus-sized. 'fat' is a neutral descriptor and not a dirty word, and displaying body diversity amongst the cast is not only realistic, but a wonderful and beautiful thing! so anyway reblog this and put in the tags which character(s) you've always headcanoned to be fat or not skinny :)

What is voidpunk?

voidpunk is an aesthetics subculture that rejects human identity and embraces being nonhuman. popped up from marginalized groups who are often dehumanized as an excuse to mistreat them – trans & nonbinary folk, arospecs, acespecs, neurodivergent & disabled people, and people of color are often the ones welcoming voidpunk but that's not an exclusive list.

as a result of our marginalization from society, people in voidpunk may feel disconnected from their humanity. I liken that voidpunk asks "so what if we're not human? That's not a reason to mistreat us." they challenge the normative social elements regarded as "innately human."

voidpunk embraces aesthetic elements that are not considered human. sometimes it manifests as looking entirely alien, though humanoid shapes are still common, albeit with deviations.

I love it. I've had this sense that I wasn't human, at least didn't feel human among humans, since I was little. I distinctly remember wondering in first grade whether I was an alien wrapped in human skin and dropped off on Earth. I just felt and still do sometimes feel detached from others, like a distance between people irl I just couldn't relate to. I am much of a social pariah. finding voidpunk and the community that came with it made me feel valid in my feelings and, in part, excuse to go wild with creative liberties.

I want to talk about current events, but I don’t want to be doomerist about it. I want my blog to be an escape, but I don’t want to ignore things that are very relevant to my wellbeing.

Back when I was religious and when I thought I was a girl, I was told by my church that God wanted me to have “beautiful black babies.” It terrified me then as much as it does now. Realizing I’m not a woman and that I’m sex-repulsed asexual does not absolve me from that possibility. In fact, that paints a target on my back for those who still want me to have “beautiful black babies.”

I knew the risks I was taking in regards to my healthcare when I changed my gender marker to an M. Now with blokes declaring abortion and reproductive autonomy a “women’s rights” issue out of ignorance and malice, I am second guessing myself. I think of my friends who are and are not seen by such cisnormative language. I fear for them. I fear for myself.

I hate those who willingly erase my gender, my queerness, my disabilities, and my race in all this. They think they are acting in their best interests. Instead, they are pulling everyone back.

I hope and I believe things will turn out for the better with enough people rallying against all this bullshit. I see it. Yet I understand progress is slow. I fear for what may happen in the time in between.
