feeling pretty emotional this morning about how there are only 2 chapters of TLE2 left. Holy shit.

i finally get it. i finally understand how people get into relationships with a 10-year age gap.

(just for context i am in my early twenties. i'm not like 15 lmao)

ok storytime. over the past two weeks i've met several people in a setting where it would have made sense for them to be anywhere between early twenties to early thirties. we all got along well, but there was one guy in particular that i offhandedly thought was cute, and we seemed to get along pretty well, becoming friendly.

then today. today i discovered he's somewhere between 8-10 years older than me. huh? wha? how??

and my takeaway wasn't "he's 10 years older than me, let's take all romantic thoughts (barely existent, tentative, half-baked, offhanded thoughts) off the table," my takeaway was "ohh so that's how people get into those relationships with the intense age gaps. the age difference doesn't really change your perception of the person if you already know them."

anyway. i always say live and let live but now i'm at "live and let live but also i think i understand"

shark bait! total surfer dude,, he's not that great at flying but he uses his wings to maneuver when surfing! also passionate about marine animals, although he is still unsure of his path in life
