I think for me it's BT shippers created a Tommy I just don't see. Why does he like Buck? Abby wanted adventure. Taylor and he had a fully fledged relationship, I understood her interest in him.
Tommy spent time IMHO courting Eddie. I'm not convinced he wasn't trying to hook up with him.
With Buck he was basically like let me shoot my shot. Ditched him on a corner. Half assed the bachelor party. Then had Buck make him dinner while he made sex jokes. Bro you flew Eddie to Vegas!!!!! Can you buy him a coffee or something. What do you actually like about Buck??
THAT'S LITERALLY WHAT I SPENT THE WHOLE SEASON ASKING. I don't know why Tommy likes Buck. There's no level of effort. None. He saw an opening, he took it, and I still don't know why. BRO LITERALLY FLEW EDDIE TO VEGAS FOR RINGSIDE SEATS. Where is that effort for Buck? Was Buck hallucinating Eddie at that hangar? Because dude won't even hold Buck's hand. And considering the way Eddie and Tommy's friendship vanished, I'm not convinced he wasn't trying to woo Eddie and then got Buck and dropped it. I can't figure out why he likes Buck. And they had time to convince us of why he does, but his appearances in 709 and 710 were to remind us that Gerrard is bad. They didn't even try to use that to help stablish the relationship. Dude has the same level of presence as Marisol, but she at least had the title of babysitter and we saw Eddie trying to make it work. He's fading to the background harder than Ana did. You mean to tell me Eddie gets flown to sold out fights and Buck gets pizza and a dinner he cooked? Show me Tommy driving Buck to work, show me him getting him coffee, show me him putting in any type of effort. He's there and I don't know why he likes Buck beyond thinking Buck's hot. After 2 months together, we should've gotten some indication as to why they are still dating. And I can't find it.

ACGAS S4 CS
First, SO much better than last year - except for the Siegfried/Tris scenes in the S3 CS.
Siegfried and Mrs. Hall were united in their care for Helen.
Siegfried sticking his beak in by picking up the extension in the bedsit! Ha!
Audrey finally took her ring off! Her divorce has been finalized for months now -and she had that interlude w/Gerald for second - but NOW she removes the ring.
Siegfried saying Mrs. Hall has sacrificed so much for them and he won't let her down. Bless him.
Siegfried has been SO involved in this divorce storyline. It HAS to mean something. I mean it can't just be a "friends" story with them. The set-up IS there. I don't think Audrey & Siegfried Shippers were hallucinating some intentional vibes/moments there last night.
Carmody, my boy, welcome to the big house! He's earned a room at Skeldale.
Mrs. Hall seemed to be very comfortable giving Mr. Farnon a honeydo list of tasks and he was more than happy to oblige
I would have thought we would have seen at least a Christmas card from Tris but, guess not. Oh, well. They continue to refer to him though. I don't think Tris is ever coming back to stay. Yes, he may visit, but I don't think he'll live at Skeldale again.
Mrs. Pumphrey and Tricky at the party! And Tricky had his own little couch by the fire! Like the boss that he is! Respect.
Baby Herriot was beautiful!
Siegfried cleaning up! Siegfried Cleaning up! Mrs. Hall let him! I mean, technically it is his kitchen but, still, she didn't shoo him away and she so nicely educated him about where the stop for the sink lives. So now Siegfried can continue to help with dishes if he is so inclined to do so....which he might be so he can spend more time with her... and she may welcome that too...
The bad?
Not bad, but James' storyline was kind of dull or just not the highlight.
The blue color tint they insist on using... I get they film in June but... not cute. The "snow" looked like paint too. Sorry, it just did. Mostly in the airbase scenes with James.
Series 5?
Wow, there's SO MUCH potential! Siegfried and Audrey playing Auntie and Uncle to baby James!
Audrey and Siegfried have a new adopted son - Carmody - to help guide and they are at their best with that!
There's no doubt Siegfried is in love with Mrs. Hall...
Mrs. P HAS to play a role in getting Mr. Farnon and Mrs. Hall together. Mrs. P is wise. She has loved and lost herself. She has seen Mr. Farnon's affection for Mrs. Hall twice now - once with Dash and now with toasting her above Jesus.
The real Siegfried did go on to become the vet at the race track so I wonder if that may be introduced in series 5.
I SO want to see Audrey and Helen working together on a community project. Mrs. P. seems to be very familiar with both now and I could see her partnering with them to support efforts
Hey, can Mrs. P help with a dance? Audrey is single now so she can attend! I know it's wartime, but could it be black tie?
Could we get a road trip for Helen and Audrey? Maybe going out to collect fees?
I have this vision of a horse being involved in a scenario with Audrey and Siegfried. The Real Siegfried brought a horse to dinner party and I could see that worked into a storyline. Can you see Siegfried trying to get Mrs. Hall up onto a horse! I can! It could funny and kind of romantic at the same time...
I do worry about Edward's fate... the timeline is not kind to his ship in 1941. Audrey deserves some happiness.
Merry Bloody Christmas!

I'm honestly expecting the worst and the best from the final 3 episodes. On the one hand I'm thinking there is no way they're giving Nancy a soulmate that's not ace even if they thought there was a fifth season, he's some version of ace or something similar, they can't just not give us nace soulmates after they hinted at it, and there are some signs there is some sort of connection btw ace and Tristan, the writers know how much we love nace and they also seem to love them. On the other hand I think I'm being delusional and I'm going to get my hopes crushed and there is no way they're going to do two supernatural secrets related to nace what with the black door also coming into play???? Idk idk 😐😐😐😐 I'm kind of spiraling out of my mind
First of all, your thinking is correct: they're not giving Nancy a soulmate who is not Ace, especially not a character who was introduced this season and has only been in 4 episodes (2 of which he was only seen in minimally at best). One could claim, "well, but they didn't know it was the last season, so maybe they had bigger plans for Tristan for future seasons" but I really don't think that's the case. The writers have known for a long time now that Nace is where it's at for this show. A majority of the show's vocal fans online ship them. Nace is even one of the main reasons why a lot of people have started checking out the show in the last couple of years. The chances that the writers decided in the 11th hour, "screw those Nace shippers, we're gonna make some rando the love of Nancy's life!" are very, very slim. I know some people don't trust these writers for whatever reason, but I do. I at least trust them to give us the Nace endgame they've been working toward since early season 2.
Now, on the off chance they did make Tristan Nancy's soulmate, I think maybe he'd just be one of her soulmates (remember Nancy's "maybe we get more than one" comment to Carson in 3x13), and Ace would be another one. And she'll choose Ace. Nancy always chooses Ace. Not only in this lifetime, but in probably every lifetime before. But again, I'm not sure Tristan will turn out to be a soulmate. Because I still have my suspicions on exactly who/what Tristan actually is. And now some people are starting to look into the lyrics of songs that have played during Nancy and Tristan scenes and it's making them question his role in the story even more.
I don't think you're being delusional at all. You say "there is no way they're going to do two supernatural secrets related to Nace", but why not? We all thought there was no way they would keep giving us steamy Nace scenes that turned out to be dreamscapes/nightmares/hallucinations, yet they did (as frustrating as that was, haha). And the fact that this curse and them getting together has been dragged out until the series finale means that their love is a big, important part of the overall story. No ship with some new, random character is going usurp what has been built up with Nace for ultimately 4 seasons now.
Believe me when I say I've never felt more confident in my life that two characters were going to be endgame. And not only endgame but futuregame as well. I think the series will end with us knowing unequivocally that Nancy and Ace are madly in love and always will be. And that once they are together, that's it. There will never be anyone else for either one of them ever again. I believe that is what all of this is leading up to. And some people will complain (and rightfully so) that we didn't get enough sweet, romantic, domestic moments with them as a couple, but it is what it is. The show could've been canceled after 3x13 and we would've been left with the knowledge that Nancy and Ace were cursed for eternity and would never get the chance to live a happy life together. On 8/23, we're at least going to finally see them happy and together, and I will cherish that no matter how brief it may be.
#i'd say ride the wave but i drowned a long time ago#so just...hope for the best#nace#nancy x ace#ace x nancy

Hi! I'm xiaojin shippers just like you :D, i just want to ask, why do many people still in denial to this ship, when it was so obvious, if you pay attention enough. Recently i just saw an argument on twitter, this random person said, that whoever ship jin and xiaoyu, that means we are alll sick perverted because to him/her, this ship is a p3do when in actuality they just have a 3 years age gap (im sorry to say this, but he/she literally said that) and still thinks they just friends.... Look, im not against for people to dislikes xiaojin ship, everyone can have different opinions, but to generalized all of us shipper for having sick perverted tendecies, that is a slander, and i dont like it at all. So what do you think of this, in your opinion? I know i shouldn't care at all, but i'm kinda sad to hear that :"(. Thanks if you answering this :)
Honestly, the p/edo thing is INCREDIBLY STUPID.
Really.
1 - It's FICTION. Fictional characters. People seems to forget this.
2 - Three years age gap isn't p/edo. But I saw people screaming that even at 1 age gap just because they didn't like a ship. I gues this person would scream in horror knowing my parents have *gasp!* a 4 years age gap.
3 - Again... it's fictional characters. Why they don't put this rage onto advocating FOR REAL P/EDO VICTIMS, rather than being horrified by FICTIONAL CHARACTERS?
Honestly, this argument is bonkers, the reality is just that they don't like the ship but instead of just ignoring it they have to stir drama for the sake of it... it's like 2010 all over again, I'm having Vietnam hallucinations of that period and the dumb shipwars in this fandom.
As for them being in denial... look, as a hardcore XiaoJin fan, it's not like we have confirmations or anything. Nor we'll ever get those, Harada doesn't care about it. My only suggestion is to block this person and ignore them. I totally would block them if I knew their twitter handle, I'm honestly too old and tired to have dumb arguments with angry people on the web.
I wholeheartedly suggest you to do the same and just enjoy the ship in peace. :)

UPDATE + NEW AU
(Might be long)
ABOUT OWN CHOICES:
THE ASK-BLOG WILL BE CLOSED BUT I WILL OPEN IT EVENTUALLY!(JUST NOT NOW) JUST NEEDED TO FOCUS ON MY STUDIES AFTER SEM-BREAK CAUSE MY GRADES ISN'T GREAT SO FAR.
WHY AM I GONNA FOCUS ON A ANOTHER AU? BECAUSE I HAD SOME IDEAS FOR IT! ORIGINALLY I WAS GONNA NOT GONNA CONTINUE "HALLUCINATION NIGHTMARE" BUT NEW IDEAS COME UP OUT OF NOWHERE(or i got inspo from stuff on the internet) SOOO MOST DRAWINGS WILL BE BASED OFF THIS NEW AU/REWRITE IG?
AND A NEW AU, IT'S SOME REPLACEMENT OF "HALLUCINATION NIGHTMARE" BUT I CHANGED IT, IT'S GONNA BE CALLED "THE LONELY SPIRIT" AND THE SPIRIT IS GONNA BE CALLED LUNCY OR LUCY SINCE IT'S PREFERED FOR THEM. (PRONOUNS: IT/ITS, THEY/THEM, SHE/HER. DISLIKED BEING CALLED HALLUNCINATION, SHE'S BETWEEN BEING REAL OR NOT) REF COMING SOON!
AND FOR THE VESSEL OBJECT, PLANCHETTE ([PRONOUNS: ANY), DIDN'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS, THEY MADE FRIENDS WITH LUCY BECAUSE THEY WE'RE TOO TRUSTWORTHY INTO PEOPLE THAT AREN'T SO TRUSTWORTHY(if you get what I mean) REF COMING SOON!
PLANCHETTE HAS OTHER OBJECTS THAT WE'RE CLOSE TO THEM BUT FORGOT ABOUT THEM.
RAINBOW, REF(NOT HERE), HE/HIM OR THEY/THEM. COOL GUY TYPE, WEIRD VOICE BUT A GOOD PERSON. PARENTS: WATERDROP(HE/HIM) AND SUNLIGHT(SHE/HER)
SUN/SUNNY, REF(NOT HERE), SHE/HER. MEAN GUY TYPE, SASSY OR NORMAL VOICE AND VERY SELF-CENTERED. PARENTS: hydrogen and helium(or gas and dust, both go by they/them. Sun/Sunny is adopted). SUNLIGHT IS SUN/SUNNY'S SISTER.
MOON, REF(NOT HERE), THEY/THEM, CHILL GUY TYPE, MONOTONE VOICE BUT IS A GOOD GUY. PARENTS: ROCKSTER(SHE/HER) AND LIGHTBALL(HE/HIM). LIGHTBALL IS LIGHTBULB'S COUSIN(DONT ASK I SUCK AT MAKING GENETICS), SUNLIGHT AND SUN/SUNNY IS THEIR SISTER.
(why are they all space-based? idk I thought it was cool)
AND JUST A NOTE: THE OBJECTS/CONTESTANTS FROM II ISN'T MADE FROM MEPHONE4. THEY ALL HAVE PARENTS BUT I HAVEN'T MADE THEM YET.
IS STEVE COBS A GOOD FATHER IN THIS AU? WELL, A REDEEMING ONE, HE MADE A DEAL WITH LUCY(USING PLANCHETTE AS A POSSESSION VESSEL) AND HE THOUGHT THE REST OF HIS CREATIONS WE'RE GONNA BE SAFE, HE WAS WRONG. SO THATS WHY HE'S TRYING TO BE BETTER ONCE HE MEETS MEPHONE4 AND MEPAD(THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY IN THE SAME PLACE, STEVE COBS AND THEM DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PLACE IS THROUGH)
ALL MEPHONES(minus MePhone5C and 5S cause they are canonically married in this AU) ARE SIBLINGS. MINUS MEPAD CAUSE HE'S A DIFFRENT MODEL.
FOR THOSE WHO SHIP STEVE COBS AND BALLPOINT PEN, IT'S A SLOW BURN. STEVE COBS TRYING TO BE A BETTER FATHER AND BALLPOINT PEN TRYING TO HELP HIM. (I HATE CANNON STEVE COBS, I WANT TO MAKE HIM SOMEONE BETTER :])
AND FOR TOIPAD, IT'S PLATONIC OR BROTPT(sorry Toipad shippers!) GLITCHPAD BEING SLOW BURN, FLOORPHONE SLOW BURN(FLOORY HAS A CRUSH ON MEPHONE4 BUT MEPHONE4 IS SLIGHTLY OBLIVIOUS)
WANNA KNOW MORE? CONTACT ME! AND YOU WANNA MAKE CONTENT OF IT? USE HASHTAG: #ii au: the lonely spirit
OR TAG ME!
THAT'S ALL!

Reasons why I ship LawLight
It's been a year since I last watched Death Note and up to this day, it still remains on my TOP 5 FAVORITE ANIME (alongside Attack on Titan, Daiya no Ace, Gintama, and the Inazuma Eleven franchise).
Be as it is, the ship between L and Light holds a special place here in my heart. And today I want to talk about the reason why I am head over heels for this painstakingly beautiful ship.
For a quick heads-up. "LawLight" is a non-canon ship pair from Death Note. The two person involved are Yagami Light also known as "Kira" and the Great Detective L otherwise known as Ryuuzaki. I believe that their trope belongs to the enemies to lovers. They are also the most famous ship for the said fandom.
I admit that I am a certified fujoshi. So when scenes like walking together under falling sakura leaves, going to a cafe for their date to confirm their suspicions about each other's identity, and was even CHAINED 24/7 were shown, I can't help but ship them despite the fact that they are LITERALLY TRYING TO KILL AND CATCH EACH OTHER.
Actually for me, what makes this ship so appealing is their cat and mouse chase. A criminal and a detective. The spark and sexual tension apparent in their battle of wits. Who shall fall first? Who shall emerge victorious? And I firmly think that this dynamic between them is also one of the biggest factors why this anime/manga became such a success.
In the eyes of a shipper, some of their interactions are seen as a potential fuel to lit a burning flame called romance. Another thing, they also complement each other.
Why? Well, let's look at Yagami Light first.
Light used the notebook to alleviate his boring mundane life. Because of his high IQ, normal things don't ellicit excitement for him. Also, always hearing about everyday crimes, his strong sense of justice tells him to rid the world of this disgusting humans who continue to cause chaos for the world. So, immediately grabbing the death note as an opportunity to make his ideals a reality, KIRA IS BORN.
Of course, no matter how good the intention is. Taking lives is still a murder. And the fact that Light wanted to take advantage of the situation to become GOD OF THE NEW WORLD, it's true essence is slowly turning into selfishness. Just like any ordinary case, the police have taken interest, no, it's more accurate to say that they were FORCED to take interest. With no more cards to play, the worldwide police decided to ask help from their trump card. Yes, the world's greatest detective L.
Hiding in a single gothic letter and synthetic voice, Light had found his other half. The yin to his yang. Why you ask?
It's simple. L is the only person who can match his intelligence. Who can see through his barrage of lies and alibis. He was the only one who doubted him, the only one who almost sent him to his doom.
He was the ultimate obstacle Light needed to overcome. Because of this thrill, of this danger, Light found true challenge. Other than the joy of killing criminals for his dream, battling with L brought an unexpected bliss deep within his soul. Because of L, his once dull world had been painted with complicated colors. L is the only one who can understand Light.
He is his enemy.
He is his Equal.
He is his captor.
The same goes for L.
Being the number 1 detective in the world, I bet that cases has become repetitive for him. With his astounding deduction skills, he could immediately solve a case while eating his favorite sweets. Thus the appearance of Kira is a mystery for him.
A highly difficult game for him to solve and win. As he said himself, he is childish and he hates to lose. So in order to win, he's given away his identity. He steps out of his shadows and approached Kira himself. Maybe it's a call for responsibility, a call for justice, or a call for his pride, whatever his reason is, he's willing to risk his life.
When he made contact with Light, he had realized that Light is the only other person who can see through him. His trials, his tests. Light never fails to amaze and surprise L. He had even considered him his successor, even though he only used it to test Light, with the latter quickly grasping the subtle accusation.
He is his enemy.
He is his captee.
He is Equal.
No one knows if their relationship had gone beyond detective and a criminal. If they ever had a genuine conversation. One without lies and hidden intention.
A talk as L and Light.
Looking at a watcher's perspective. A single particular scene showed a glimpse of their relationship. The rooftop and foot massage scene who fueled a lot of LawLight shippers.
"The bells are unusually loud today." - L
At the rooftop, L had asked Light if he had ever uttered a truth once in his life. With Light regaining his memories, L knows that this attempt is futile, yet he still tries. And maybe, even held a little hope that Light would surrender himself.
Light on the other hand, as expected caught the meaning of his question, within that short silence, he contemplated his answer even if it's just for mere seconds. But because Light had already steeled his resolve, he chose to lie.
He had already made a choice.
And that is to kill L.
And L himself knows it.
At the stairs, an intimate scene between them is shared. Both are drenched in the rain, then L suddenly offered a foot massage to Light. For non-shippers, they say that it's a Bible reference.
But for people like me, it's simply nothing but a bittersweet moment where for once, emotions are stirred and shared.
The atmosphere, their longing stares.
Light drying L's hair.
The exchange of words.
It truly is a very painful and touching picture.
"It will be lonely isn't it? You and I will be parting ways soon".
L is known for not showing his true emotions. Yet in here, he bares everything. From the way he looks at Light and that slight curve on his mouth, like he's very regretful of something. Maybe it's because he wasn't able to personally give him the verdict or it can also be what ifs and what would they have become if they didn't meet in this kind of circumstances.
On Light, he looked shock and somewhat sad. They say it was an act, but the knowledge of his arch-nemesis soon dying, the one who has been with him since this "chase" started, the one being who gave him thrill and pushed him to his limits, the one who for months, was chained with him 24/7, the only one who could stand as his equal, the one who made him feel, losing that person will surely give you mixed emotions, and I believe that the sadness there is genuine, even though it had been overshadowed by his delight for victory.
It was only a for a short moment but for once, they've dropped all facades as they face each other as L and Light, not Ryuuzaki and Kira.
After L's death, Light is shown to have lose some of his sanity. I've read in a site before telling that L was the one who's holding his ground. And with him gone, with the thrill of danger gone, Light suddenly found himself at loss. He spent months trying to rid of his enemy. His disappearance had caused a void in his heart.
I remember a certain scene where Light imagined L sitting at his usual chair. His eyes were dead and devoid of color. That's where he also started to lower his guard down. For him, L is his only formidable opponent, his other half. He is his equal. It proves with the appearance of Near, where Light says that he's far inferior to L. That he doesn't deserve to wear his mask.
Light had come to respect L.
In Light's final moments, he sees L. A hallucination some says. But they're missing a point here.
The fact that L showed up, either his soul or an imagination, means that he had become an important figure to Light. Maybe he was thinking what L said during the times that they are wearing the chains.
"As long as we are wearing this chains. You and I are bound to share the same fate. If you die, I die." - L Lawliet
Yes, the chains are gone, physically. But because Light had allowed L to become an important piece of his life, he had secured the chain for L to held him captive for as long as he's alive...and if you let your imagination wild, even after death.
This are the reasons why I fell in love with this ship.
They're both broken.
One is blinded by power.
One had secluded himself from the outside world.
Their chase will never be forgotten. A game that only the two of them understood knowing from the beginning that they will never achieve a happy ending. This painful and bittersweet ship will go down in history.

Destiel Chronicles
(Vol. XXVI)
It was a love story from the very beginning.
And then... There's this gap here...
(7x04/7x06/7x07/7x08/7x10)
Hello my dears! How are you? This is the second meta from season 7 from my Destiel Chronicles. And this is very critical one, to the gap I found after Castiel's death.
I want to give thanks to my friend @agusvedder she made the gifs for this meta and discussed with me the episodes.
Well, I should stop the cháchara, and just do it.
Changing the focus
I noticed after Castiel's death, the focus of the show was all over the topic GUILT and LIES. Because why not? Let's confront Sam and Dean again so we can get a little of Wincest fuel.
So, Dean killed that Kitsune woman, Sammy's maybe first love and friend (a monster friend, as Dean will have on Benny in s8). But well... Dean is lying and he feels guilty about what he did. And Sam ignoring the whole situation... Okay... Cas is out. That story ended. Let's focus on Wincest and Pathologic Codependency between the brothers.
Episode 7x04 Defending your life, was about GUILT, and how it came to haunt you.
And because it was a very Wincest episode when we confronted Sam and Dean with VERITAS en Season 6, why not repeat the thing? Let's use another God... OSIRIS to confront them again. Like watching the same bad movie twice.
Ok, soy, Dean is drinking a lot of alcohol, because of Cas? Well of course, but the writers made it because of the guilt he feels for lying to his brother.
In the middle of this situation, he talks about this with a waitress, and Osiris captured him.
And because Sammy is so smart and believes in his brother, he is the lawyer, his defensor.
The whole episode is focused in old guilts and regrets of Dean. OSIRIS called Jo, and then Sam, because he felt responsible for them, for their safety, and about Jo, for her death.
Sam is the person that try to clean all those old ghosts from his brother. But he failed, because Dean has a big issue with the guilt.
Aaaand Codependency again...
This is what makes Wincest strong: Pathologic Codependency... And we will see a lot of it thanks to Sera Gamble...
Episode 7x06: Slash Fiction.
There's two Leviathans copying Cas and Dean and committing crimes in places where they were hunting years ago (firsts seasons, bc Sera missed Bro-only episodes so much... Awww 😒).
Okay, so they had to meet this guy Frank, a very odd man and very smart. And Dean had to abbandon Baby in that place...
So we had this comic dialogue...
SAM: It's temporary, Dean.
DEAN: Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
SAM: Y-you know that's a line from --
DEAN: Swayze movie. Swayze always gets a pass!
SAM: Right. Uh, well, you want some tunes or something? Here.
And then there was Air Supply singing I'm all out of love... And Dean was like...
Ok... If you weren't watching the episode, this could be a very Destiel song, BUT, this is Wincestland or Gamble-land, is the same, and the song is just for loosing Baby. Cas is erased here. No more Cas... And... Wasn't Sammy hallucinating with Lucifer? Oh, yeah, nevermind... If they don't want to write it... Okay, keep watching.
But the thing here... Was this scene...
LEVIATHAN!DEAN: I mean, honestly, I just... You know what? I can't stand the guy. Talk about a hero complex. And he doesn't have relationships. No, he has applications for sainthood. Oh, and he thinks he's funny. He thinks he's a damn comedian.
LEVIATHAN!SAM: Who has two thumbs and full-blown bats in the belfry?
LEVIATHAN!DEAN points at LEVIATHAN!SAM and LEVIATHAN!SAM points at himself with both thumbs.
LEVIATHAN!SAM: I'm serious. It's nothing but Satan-vision on the inside. I mean, how he's walking around in a jacket with detachable arms is beyond me. You know, I had a brother with this many issues once.
Okay, not this scene, but was funny, look how they talked about Hallucifer! Yay! They didn't forget! 😒
I wanted to show you this scene, when Dean and Sam got arrested by the police...
LEVIATHAN!DEAN: I just want to let you know how much I've really grown to hate you and your brother since we've been wearing you. I just don't get it. You could be anything. You're strong, you're uninhibited.
Another confrontation, the Leviathan here is saying he doesn't understand Dean and Sam pathologic Codependency, this gives a Wincest tint to the scene, it was written with that intention, and that's how it feels.
Then, the Leviathan! Dean told the truth about Sammy's monster friend...
And I present here to all of you, the Wincest master topic, because Sam reacts exaggeratedly to this. It's a break up? It looks like. Oh yes, the kind of drama Gamble likes, the bro-only one...
Now... Let's jump to episode 7x07, Sam is mad at Dean, they broke up 😒 but they bumped into each other trying to solve a case.
The clues lead them to a Museum... And this dialogue is just... Okay. Nevermind... Just look at it...
MUSEUM GUIDE: Never ended well for the siblings.
DEAN: Why is that?
MUSEUM GUIDE: Mm, the strain of working together, or maybe just being around each other all their lives. Those two were the exception, actually – the Campbells. Got along famously. Of course, that was just a stage name
Ok.. all right... The Campbells?? Really? What was Mary Winchesters's last name??? Oh yes... Campbell! 😒 Ah, ok, they weren't actually brothers, they were lovers, nevermind... Nothing to see here... 🤦
Then.. we'll have more drama... And Dean will mention Cas trying to explain why he killed the Kitsune. Because CAS is compared here with a "monster friend" (??) And because his betrayal he doesn't trust anyone now (???!!) I know this could be written so differently... I know that.
Is an episode I want to forget. Thank you.
Okay, what I have to say of episode 7x08? Sam married with Becky (a Wincest shipper) and Dean being the third in discord. Love triangle my friends... Can I vomit now?
What a gap... And who was Castiel?? And... Wasn't Sam hallucinating with Lucifer?
I know we can find the plot and the storyline somewhere...
Nope.
Don't worry... Edlund will be back to the rescue in episode 9, in the next Chronicle.
Bobby
Okay, not all these episodes before Edlund were ugly, the one that wrote Gamble about Bobby is a cute one. I have to give her that, but kind of repetitive in some aspects... But, symbolically, it was a nice episode in which we could learn more about Bobby.
Episode 7x10 Death's door showed us how Bobby was the real good dad these boys had. We learn about his own childhood, with an abusive father, and how that past made him connect immediately with his sons, Dean and Sam.
One of the issues with Bobby was this quote...
"You break everything you touch." Is the phrase that kept dancing in Bobby's head thanks to his dad...
So we traveled all over Bobby's traumas, and how he was desperately trying to keep himself alive because he needed to deliver to his boys one last clue against the Leviathans, Bobby fighting till the end, my friends...
And this was my favorite part ...
That's why Bobby was the lovely and normal father for these boys, and is so touching. He tried to give them a normal life. And they are so grateful with him because of that.
And this too...
Bobby scolding John, trying to make him see what the kids needed from him. Trying to bring him back from that revenge path he was following.
Loable work.
So Bobby trapped his reaper, and delivered the boys those numbers, and then he died.
I can't forget Dean's words about trying to keep his faith... "
For him it was harder, because he is a chronic denying boy, and Sam was the one with his feet on Earth. And this dialogue broke my heart.
SAM: Dean, listen – we need to brace ourselves.
DEAN: Why?
SAM: Because it's real.
DEAN: What do you want to do? You want to hug and – and say we made it through it when Dad died? We've been through enough.
Gah, I wanted to hug them right there. 😟
Okay... Enough of sobbing...
To Conclude:
There was several episodes with big Wincest subtext content, and Cas and Hallucifer plot seemed to be erased... Also the storyline.
The episode about Bobby's death was a cute one, with touching scenes and flashes about Bobby's past, showing us his issues and what a good father he was with our boys.
I hope you had enjoyed this one's, it was kind of critical, but I promise Destiel in the next ones...
😘💕

Hi, i might be reading wrong the last developments betwen Hi Jeon and Woo Kyung but to me it seems they are parting away. She took care of Eun Ho when he was beaten but didn't seem to have gone to see Hi Jeon at the hospital or called him. He didn't look convinced by her words that he did the right thing by saving her and killing Eun Ho. He accused her subtly too of leading on Red Cry with Si Wan and she was offended and had to remind him that he made up the story for her to tell to Red Cry. 1/2
She’s keeping him in the dark about her current connection with Red Cry and while he knows she’s nervous and lying, he didn’t ask why. He supported her when she was looking for the little girl in the green dress, she used to keep him update about her discoveries Now the subject has been dropped completely between them. This distance seems more obvious when compared to the attention he gives recently to Soo Young: he literally ran to protect her and arrest the man who assaulted her. 2/2
So i wonder if this means that this gap is going to grow bigger in the final to the point where they could be on opposite side and fighting each other? 3/3
I can definitely see where you’re getting your reading from. I also see the distancing between Woo Kyung and Ji Heon in these past couple of episodes, but I don’t see it in quite as dark a light, I think. I see it more as a heightening of tension and conflict right before the finale.
You raise a couple different points and I want to address them in order:
As far as the parting of ways is concerned, I see what you mean. I was personally really hoping for a scene of Woo Kyung visiting Ji Heon in the hospital after his injury, and was slightly disappointed when we didn’t get one. However, I have to admit that I’m viewing this from a shipper’s point of view, so of course I want my favorite pair to share more screen time where they bond and worry about each other.
The problem is, this is a thriller and not a melo. The focus is the suspenseful story line and the murder mystery, so there’s less leisure time where we get scenes that purely explore character relationships. If this was a romance then I would expect those, as in a romance character relationship is the plot in many respects. As it is however, all or nearly all of Woo Kyung and Ji Heon’s interactions are directly in service to the plot and their friendship or whatever it is that’s going on between them is left firmly in the realm of subtext that we can unpack or ignore as we like.
That’s a long winded way of saying that we get scenes of Woo Kyung caring for Eun Ho’s wounds because Eun Ho’s trauma and home life directly feeds into the Red Cry arc, whereas a scene of her visiting Ji Heon would not service the plot, but only develop the character relationships. This is a pacing decision, not necessarily a sign that the two characters are drifting apart.
I’ll admit some disappointment too that Ji Heon and Woo Kyung aren’t discussing her hallucinations and the girl in the green dress anymore. I was pulling from the first half of the show that Woo Kyung would eventually confide in Ji Heon all about her mysterious past and he would become instrumental in her unraveling the mystery. That didn’t end up happening. Instead Woo Kyung ended up using Red Cry to dig deeper into her past and uncover what happened to the real Se Kyung. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but I think it’s thematically appropriate, since Woo Kyung has always been suspended on bridge between Ji Heon’s lawful good and Red Cry’s chaotic vigilante justice, not coming cleanly down on either side.
I think that might be another explanation for the distancing between these two characters. The drama has essentially laid a false dilemma before Woo Kyung. She’s in a position where she feels trapped between the police investigation into Red Cry and the opportunity she has to use Red Cry to find out about her past. She feels that if she opens up to Ji Heon about her contact with Red Cry, she will lose her opportunity, perhaps forever, to find out the truth about the girl in the green dress. Red Cry actually presents it to her as two alternatives: to find out who he is or to find out what happened to her sister. And Woo Kyung consciously and definitively chooses the latter.
There’s a motif in this show regarding intuition. Our conscious and unconscious perceptions about other people. We see it between Eun Ho and Ji Heon. We see it with the little girl in green showing up as a hallucinatory representation of Woo Kyung’s intuition, showing her when children are being abused. And we also see it in the relationship between Ji Heon and Woo Kyung.
There’s a lot of unspoken suspicions between the two of them. I think Ji Heon knows that Woo Kyung is hiding something from him, but has for whatever reason has decided not to ask her for the truth from her directly. I like to think of this as a sign of the trust between them–he believes that Woo Kyung has her reasons to hide things, as she has many times in the past, and will come clean when then time is right. Similarly, I think Woo Kyung subconsciously knows that Ji Heon is right about her sunbae, Dr. Yoon Tae Joo, that he is most likely Red Cry, but she’s rejecting her intuition because a) she doesn’t want to accept the idea that the solution has been so close to her all this time and b) she needs Red Cry in order to solve the mystery of her past and c) on some level she sympathizes with Red Cry’s actions.
To be clear, I don’t think all of these are conscious thoughts on Woo Kyung’s part. Like when she used Si Wan’s story to lure Red Cry, she may have on some level really wanted Red Cry to do something about Si Wan’s situation, but she is far too conflicted about it to have done it with a conscious intention. I think that was the idea Ji Heon was poking at. And even though she did get very defensive when Ji Heon brought it up, and tried to put the matter back on him, and even outright rejected on two different occasions that Yoon Tae Joo might be Red Cry, we actually see later that she is seriously considering the idea that Ji Heon might be right. She asks Tae Joo several oblique questions about whether he desires to kill people who abuse children. That shows me that even though she is defensive to Ji Heon’s face, his words and suspicions are having a serious impact on her.
As for the comparison of Ji Heon’s relationship with Woo Kyung in the past couple of episodes vs his interactions with Soo Young, I do see what you mean. But I don’t necessarily think the two things are related, at least not in the way you’re implying they are. I don’t see his connection with Soo Young on the same level as the one he has with Woo Kyung, or as being of the same nature. I see him much more as a big brother figure toward Soo Young. And that’s been consistent throughout. The way he looks after her, but also tells her off. When he ran over to help her, I think he would have done that in any case, regardless of who it was. But especially because it was his hoobae, his partner, and he has a direct responsibility for her. Think about when he picked her up the morning after she spent the night in the drunk tank and fed her hangover soup. I personally see it as Soo Young having a shitty, abusive oppa and Ji Heon is stepping in as a replacement, protecting her. A found family kind of thing.
Naturally, I could be wrong, and my bias is obvious.
I sincerely hope that the two leads don’t end up fighting against each other in the end. I’ve definitely seen a few people worried that the drama is going to have a downer ending, and I don’t think those fears are completely unreasonable. But I’m still holding out hope for a happy resolution to everything. Part of the reason I don’t think we have to worry about Woo Kyung siding with Red Cry in the end, is because she has already basically gotten from him what she needed. The denouement has happened. She has confronted her step mother about her lies. We still don’t know the complete truth, but Woo Kyung has already started pulling on that thread and the whole web is well on its way to unraveling. I suspect fairly early in the upcoming episode we will know all, including whatever horror happened with the fireplace in that creepy house.
I really don’t have any idea what to expect from the finale, but I’m holding out hope for a satisfactory resolution for all of these characters who I have become extremely attached to in the past weeks. Thanks for sending me this ask. I hope my reply was worth the wait. Have a good night!
Jona
