Look at Tangle's face here. Her eyes are closed, and tears are slowly breaking through-

She's visibly shaking, and clearly terrified-

This is one of her first few real adventures,

and the world is ending right before her eyes,

as her heroes die and lose the little hope they had left.

And she's smiling.

Look at that smile- it's a shaky line, because she is so not fucking okay. She is not alright with this, and she shouldn't be-

But she's not going to let it get to her.

She never does.

Because Tangle, the 15 year old lemur from Spiral Hill village, who just started her adventures and had to watch the world end in front of her very eyes-

Is one of the bravest sonic characters out there.

She reassured Sonic, her hero, when he was losing faith in himself-

And now she's alone, with no one to help her.

She knows she's going to lose her battle.

But she's going to try anyway-

She's going to go down fighting, because,

deep down,

she knows,

that her heroes'll never fail.

Her friends'll never fail.

She just hopes they won't keep her waiting for too long.

oh my god okay. The fact that Wayne narrates the lore of the Creel House and Eddie narrates the Vecna campaign is so important to me. It means that Eddie grew up listening to his uncle tell stories. It means that those stories left such an impact on him, that he started telling stories of his own.

It means Eddie inherited the storytelling trait from Wayne.

see i keep noticing this "rule" in a lot of fandom spaces that lighthearted fandoms tend to write edgy stuff abt the characters Going Through It and dark fandoms tend to write a lot of fluff. this makes the isat fandom a Very Funny exception to this rule because from what i've seen they all got to watch siffrin's deteriorating mental state in real time and said "hey what if it was Worse. what if we put him through More"

Speaking of will telling mike what he loves about his appearence he loves the height difference between them. Loves the fact that he could rest his shoulder on his or admire mike from a certain angle, loves that he could stand on his tippy toes to give him a kiss. will knows they get closer in height sometimes but he loves when mike grows even more, and now that he stands 6 feet will literally gushes 🤭

nonny my heart is bursting 🥹 I absolutely agree with you, I think they both love their height difference in their own ways. like I'm sure mike gives will so many forehead kisses so easily, and loves reaching down to tilt will's chin up towards him 🥰 My favorite out of these though is will standing on his tippy toes to kiss, if that happens in the show I'll scream.

He is 100% gushing about mike being 6 foot, everything about his man is big, he knows he has theee best boyfriend. I still can't believe finn brought the difference back, he knew what the people wanted 🙏

I hope they find a scene in s5 to have byler sitting side by side and we get this again LOL
