My mum's doing a survey for her BSc Vet. Nursing, so I'm sharing it here, if anyone wants to participate or reblog - link and her post below
Hi, Have you ever had to have a pet put to sleep? It's such a tough process to go through. 💔
Please can you spare 5 mins to fill in my survey? ( Link above). I'm trying to gather UK pet owners experiences of the euthanasia process.
I'm in my 4th year of a BSc (Hons) in Vet Nursing and am interested in how owners experiences could help vets to improve the service they provide.
If you have lost more than one pet, you can complete the questionnaire more once. ( Any companion animal, including horses and livestock pets)
I'd really appreciate it if you could share this everywhere, the more participants the better.
Click the link and share this post.
Thank you 😊

also can i please see the horrors
and did he poop in a litter box or just like... a cardboard box?
and what are you than? nurse? radiology technician? cool trans medical person?
I'm training to be a UK Radiographer - aka, a level above a US Radiology Technician, but still answering to a Radiologist! I'm not sure you guys have 'Radiographers' in the same way we do? We need a BsC at a minimum, often Masters, and do x-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, fluoro, angio, theatre, etc. We critique the resultant images and aid radiologists with diagnosis. Plus (as far as I've been told...) the UK is a bit more stringent about minimising radiation dose, so our training tends to be a bit more focused on that! I'm looking at 4 minimum years of study, probs more, to go into my desired specialty with a Masters (T^T for those tuition fees). But I'm really enjoying it! Literally my only issues are related to my own disability, because....... ugh. It's a pretty physical job. And I applied for it before I got diagnosed. Back when I thought this was all in my head and I should just muscle through. Ha. Ha. Ha. This is fine -
Anyway.
The Horrors, for your viewing pleasure:
I demand that you appreciate his tiny black toebeans!
He poops in his litter box, not random cardboard boxes - those are for plonking his fuzzy butt in, cuddling up, and purring. If he fits, he sits - not shits.

Requirements for Becoming a Registered Nurse in the United Kingdom
Pursuing a nursing career in the UK is a rewarding path, offering both professional growth and the chance to make a difference. However, before starting your journey, it’s essential to meet the necessary qualifications and registration requirements. Here’s a concise guide to becoming a registered nurse in the UK, as advised by experts at Xpress Health, one of the top nursing agencies in the UK.
1. Education Requirements
To qualify, you must complete a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) approved nursing degree. Options include:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing: A three-year program with specialties like adult, child, and mental health nursing.
Nursing Apprenticeships: A four-year program combining work experience with academic learning.
Postgraduate Nursing Programs: Available for those with a degree in another field, taking about two years.
2. Entry Requirements
Applicants need:
Educational Qualifications: Typically, GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Science, along with A-levels or equivalent.
Health and Character Checks: Includes a health assessment and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Relevant Experience: Volunteering in healthcare adds value, though it’s not required.
3. NMC Registration
To practice legally, nurses must register with the NMC by:
Completing an online application.
Paying registration fees.
Passing the NMC Test of Competence (for overseas-trained nurses).
4. Requirements for International Nurses
International nurses need to:
Show English Proficiency (e.g., IELTS score of 7.0 or OET “B” grade).
Pass the NMC Test of Competence, including the CBT and OSCE.
5. Employment and Visa Sponsorship
Once registered, nurses should apply for positions across NHS and private sectors. A UK employer must sponsor the skilled worker visa, enabling international nurses to work in the country.
6. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Registered nurses must engage in CPD, fulfilling 450 practice hours and 35 CPD hours every three years for NMC revalidation.
7. Soft Skills and Financial Support
Nurses should be empathetic, resilient, and have excellent communication skills. Financial support options, including student loans and NHS Learning Support Funds, are available for eligible nursing students.
Conclusion
While the process to become a registered nurse in the UK is detailed, it opens doors to a fulfilling and impactful career. If you’re passionate about healthcare, nursing in the UK provides not just job satisfaction, but a chance to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

My Opinion on convicted Mr & Mrs Ekweremadu and Doctor.
MY OPINION
UNITED KINGDOM CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT CONVICTION ON MR & MRS EKWEREMADU AND DOCTOR
The recent verdict by the Judge of the United Kingdom Central Criminal court on the case of suspicion of organ trafficking by Mr & Mrs Ekweremadu and the Doctor whilst convicted is unacceptable based on the following;
First and foremost organ transplant is lawful in the United Kingdom.
The Nigeria Immigration Service cleared the original identity of Friday Ukpo.
Mr & Mrs Ekweremadu issued a letter to the British High Commission in Nigeria on the organ transplant for daughter Sonia to be carried out in the United Kingdom NHS.
Friday Ukpo misled the British Police that he is 15years whilst he is 21 years.
Sonia is cleared of organ trafficking in the United Kingdom
Friday Ukpo stated in his statement that went viral on social media that he consented to the organ transplant when he ate food he has not eaten before and agreed with Ike Ekweremadu representative.
Friday Ukpo intention to seek asylum in the United Kingdom.
WHAT MR & MRS EKWEREMADU DID NOT DO
A written agreement between Friday Ukpo and Ekweremadu on the organ transplant. However Friday Ukpo stated in his written statement that he consented to the procedure.
Ekweremadu should have seek for a court injuction to check Friday Ukpo communication if there was a communication with anyone stating he was going for a kidney transplant in the United Kingdom.
Did not give a profound explanation why he had chosen the UK NHS as destination for the organ transplant.
MY JUDGEMENT
Mr & Mrs Ekweremadu, the Doctor shouldn’t have been convicted. Friday Ukpo fraudulent behaviour after his blood did not match for the organ transplant and Ukpo consent should have played a major role in declaring Ekweremadu innocent of the charges. This is underpinning the UK age detector technology that would seek to reduce the influx of illegal migrants that mislead the United Kingdom on their ages. The UK Central criminal court should have respected the integrity, dignity that was demonstrated by the Nigeria Immigration service on clearance of Friday Ukpo original identity.

How to be a best sop and lor writing services?
Only studying, hiring the best sop and lor writing services, and scoring good marks is not enough to be a good student. Your attitude towards your work has an impact on your performance as well.
If every student followed a useful, healthy regimen that would propel them towards achievement, they could all do better or even the best. Let’s discuss a few qualities of a good student in detail.
Love your work- Whether you’re studying Physics or surfing the internet for Duolingo test registration, you need to love what you’re doing.
Make sure you truly want a college course before enrolling in it to avoid regret later.
It's enjoyable to learn stuff you find interesting.
Always have fun in all that you do. Even if studying can be monotonous, it doesn't matter when you enjoy the material you're reading or doing it.
Be positive- As a student you will have to face different hurdles. For example, you may not find ways to study abroad in USA. No matter what the situation is, always be positive.
You might run across situations that would put your endurance and skills to the test. Be brave enough to confront and resolve issues when you come across them. Don't just sit in bed thinking about your issue; take action to fix it. See it as a test and an opportunity to improve as a student.
Pick good friends- Nobody can live alone; a friend is necessary for survival. Choose your schoolmates carefully, and hang around with people who will encourage you to take greater responsibility for your homework. Another method to enjoy your studies is to make the appropriate kind of pals.
Surround yourself with positive people. A good bunch of friends will assist you to study abroad, and if required, they will also help you to learn new skills.
Focus- Avoid checking your watch during lectures; doing so is distracting and disrespectful to your professor. Pay close attention to what the instructor is saying and pay close attention.
You need to develop and improve your listening skills to be a good student.
Summary
Last but not least, in case you are having any issues or doubts, always reach out to your supervisors or the student support team of your college and ask for help. Keep yourself away from unnecessary distractions. That will help you to focus better in your studies.
