DAVAO AND PANABO BARANGAY ELECTIONS BLOG EXPERIENCE 2023
UPDATE EXPERIENCE // OCTOBER 30, 2023
On October 30, 2023, during the Barangay Elections in Davao City, I visited my fellow CODE students because they were given the opportunity to report on the election proceedings. I was supposed to be with them, but I couldn't handle the intense heat and crowded places. Nonetheless, I brief visit for documentary purposes. At that time, there were a lot of people, and it was scorching hot, but everyone was still willing to vote for their preferred politicians. In Panabo City, I accompanied my sister to vote, and similar to Davao City, there was a large crowd, but everyone patiently lined up to cast their votes. There were many police officers on duty, and a lot of young people were also participating in the voting process. The voting extended into the evening, but the election process in Panabo City was well-organized. After we voted, we went home right away without waiting for the results because there were others willing to wait for the election outcome.
