My ever-present Lord, I thank You profoundly for the way You come to me in the Most Holy Eucharist. I thank You for Your divine presence and glory. Help me to see beyond the veil of the appearance of bread and wine so that I can see more clearly Your divinity. As I see Your divine presence, dear Lord, help me to profess my belief in You with greater certitude and faith. Jesus, I trust in You.

I am so happy and grateful now for all my relationships are loving and connected 💓 filled with joy love peace compassion and forgiveness ❤️ thank you god thank you god thank you god ❤️ 🙏🏽

Wednesday Service Heart Highlight:

October 23rd, 2024

Tonight when my church worship leader opened the service she said something that opened up a reservoir of gratitude and prayer:

"What a blessing this place is."

Man and it is so true. What a blessing it is that we get to gather together with the church body, with our church family. That we get to experience Gods presence together, to edify and pray with one another, to praise God as The Body of Christ. That we get to gather together and nourish our spirits in God's word with our Pastors and allow the word to grow in our hearts. It made me so thankful that I get to experience this every Sunday and Wednesday.

Hebrews 10:25 AMP

"Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching."

A Prayer...

For those who have a church home: I pray that as you attend church you are reminded of the blessing of having a church home where you can gather to edify and feed your spirit with one another. I pray that your eyes are opened to a new understanding and level of gratitude for the community that you have with your church family.

For those who have experienced church hurt: I pray God's healing over your heart. While those people hurt you know that it was not God. He loves you, and His will for you is full of joy, peace, and love (Jere. 29:11). God will give you beauty for ashes. I believe that as you go along this journey of healing and reconciliation that God will lead you along the path to a church of believers in action and word. Who will truly love and care for you as The Gospel ordains.

For those who have yet to find a church home: I pray that Your eyes and ears are opened to a new level that you may be more receptive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit who will lead you and guide you (john 16:13). I pray that the new way in which you should go will be clearer than ever and that as you take that path you will be filled with a new hope that will assure you that you will find your church home.

For those who attend their church home virtually: I pray also that you are reminded of the blessing of having a church home where you can worship and hear the word of God with others. I pray that if you have the opportunity and are able to attend your service in-person that you will take it, even if it is only a one-time thing. I pray that if the community part of your church home is lacking, that God will show you the way to experience that blessing with your church family. And if it's not lacking, that your eyes are renewed to the blessing of having that community.

We should let God’s peace into our heart and mind and let His peace overpower anything that conflicts it within us (such as bad thoughts, sinful desires, etc.). God called us to having peace since He gifted us the chance to be forgiven of our sins! We as Christians all make up one group, or body, in the faith, and we should be thankful for this peace and chance of salvation!!!!!

In this episode of Author to Author, Dr. Cynthia Toolin-Wilson interviews Roger Skrenes on his book History of the Eucharist (July 18, 2023) The Eucharist is not a topic of the moment. Like any good teacher, God took “his time” in revealing the Eucharist slowly, step by step, throughout Biblical history. In this history there are two main tracks: 1) the history of bread and its use in the Old Testament and 2) the sacrificial lamb of the Old Testament Passover. These two tracks point to the Last Supper and the Cross. The story of the Lamb, of course, continues with the Resurrection and Eternal Life. This book tells this story.
