I’ve been relistening to riptide, and I’ve gotten to the part in Kas’ Karnival where Chip has the opportunity to speak to anyone at all, and he chooses Edyn.

And I just think it’s really fucking interesting that he chose Edyn.

Like- he had the opportunity to choose ANYONE. He could have chosen Arlin, or Niklaus, or Jay’s sister, or captain Rose, or ANYONE. Hell he probably could have been like “yeah lemme talk to my mom” AND IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE FUCKING WORKED. And it was anyone alive or dead. So it would have fucking worked unless you specifically had to know the person’s name.

But he chose Edyn Fucking Tidestrider bc he wasn’t to make sure that she doesn’t view him in any sort of ill way. That we don’t even 100% know WHY he cares so much about how she views him (personally I think it’s bc of Gillion but yknow). He could have talked to ANYONE. But he chose Edyn. And I don’t even know if I think it was worth it or not.

Lore wise, we learned new shit bc of it. But character wise, Chip could have gotten closure over his bio parents, or talked to the ONE PERSON he’s been searching for for TEN YEARS. and I think that is SUCH an interesting thing that he chose not to

theres been 2 posts on how felipe wasnt the culprit (heres one by wrinklemcdinkle) (heres another by ralexsol) ive seen, so im throwing my own theory into the mix: the demon is kuba kenta and kk (or mr. kenta) has relations to both niklaus hendrix AND the compass. lets get into it!

lets start with the tags i wanted to use (i found they werent actually on the felipe is nk post, but rather on the second felipe is being framed post i linked)! theres a couple details here i mention but why do i say kuba in particular?

the only person who could actually have something against gillion straight up is jayson ferin, mainly cause he got stabbed by him twice, but jayson isnt a demon! you know who is a demon though? kuba kenta. so for jayson, mr kenta was the perfect way.

as for felipe's escape, the rope was burnt, correct? who has fire powers again? mr ferin. when felipe was being investigated or whatever, kuba contacted jayson and he got him out of there, leaving there be reason to assume felipe was dragged to hell.

yes i do think felipe was controlled by kuba to hurt gillion, it plugs up some plot holes thats for sure. so how would felipe been target if he only pulled the card the next day? because felipe probably was a target since he was born.

its important to point out the compass not only having effects like kk's scratches do (give nightmares, cause physical reactions/changes, etc), but a similar color pattern to both niklaus and felipe. (pointed out by several people before me, like aethlingg in his actual essay about evil felipe working with niklaus shown above) another interesting detail is the nk tattoo is used with a moon attached, felipe's choice of goddess to worship. he immediately finds a friendship with chip when about 4 eps ago, niklaus had been given a stick by chip (important cause of how it was harder to spy on niklaus since the stick was in his room and stuff before, i think itd also add in an idea of "greater connection with the person" and stuff). i could go on and on abotu their connections.

lets get back to the connection of niklaus and kuba. how would they even have met? probably something like chip did for his deal. as the quote above shows (found from the post by redcloverf3y, heres another link to it), people who have that desire for their goals will find him, not those who look for it. why would kuba need to strike a deal with desire daddy? because how else would he be able to use felipe. theres no way the curse would change the free will of felipe (it didnt do that for chip or gillion), so if he wants felipe to be a better puppet, he needs something to interfer with that. niklaus and kuba cut that deal, and felipe doesnt lose that curse on him, well to the others. kuba wouldnt have been able to give felipe the nightmares, anytime we see him hes with the three, so someone would have seen him get scratched! even if he got scratched in the couple months before they met him (cause felipe was six months old, not a couple days), the scars dont fade, rather theres the black ooze to them that burns, making it not a forgetable thing.

speaking of that, lets move onto the daggers situation. why the fuck would a tour guide have such dangerous daggers, poisonous ones to be exact (i heard it had poison effects somewhere, but sadly cannot find any info about that)? felipe has no need for poison daggers! he literally can spit acid! that means its only being used for its forgetfulness, which doesnt make too much sense to me since its not like being stabbed isnt just something you remember but theres the fucking pain of it too (example being, when i was younger and we were in the car getting ready to leave some place, there was this like tightness on my foot and i look at the door and [because it was one of those automatic doors and shit] it was closing on my foot. i didnt remember getting my foot in there and i still dont know how it happened, i do remember though how much of a bitch the pain was. not close to the pain of stabbing im sure, but you still remember the pain even without the memory of how it got there). that leaves one last usage: actually stabbing. again, hes a tour guide, he has no reason to need to stab people, no reason he should have a dagger that damaging, let along access to one like it. you know what has good weapons, ones with magic and shit? the navy. hell, theyre building a mechicanical leviathin! they of course have magic weapons for combat and such. and being a vice admiral, kk would have access to all of them. he gets a dagger for felipe, uses his deal to make sure felipe does whats needed, there.

so why would pulling the card get kuba as his enemy? its the magic of the cards! why would felipe hate gill? why would gillion dissappear only able to be brought back by powerful magic (whole can of worms for niklaus's abilities btw, needed to point that out)? the cards! theres also how felipe did reveal what his plans with gill were gonna be, but its probably just the cards.

i do also think the compass is related to kenta cause of their abilities being matched and it kinda fits him, a man driven even beyond the grave to reach a goal, even if that goal is only known by him...but this is long enough!

i hope i fed someones wants and if theres any contradiciting (or even more proving) evidence, lmk and ill try to counter it, bye and ill see you probably in a writing thing ive been putting off since this morning to write this

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISATION NOTES: below you'll find details of small things that have been added to Bryn's bio or I have realised that I still need to add/change. Some of these are more important than others but I recommend reading.

- Name: Bryn's name has changed to a Hebrew given name. The name given to her by Esther and Mikael is Astera Mikaelson ('tera). Bronwyn is the name her birth mother gave her and becomes a middle name until around 1114 when she begins to use it as her given name, wishing to separate herself from her past human life. Anybody who only knows her previous to this date (I.e., Aurora, Lucien and Tristan) would know her as Astera, she does not make a big noise like her siblings so while she is known, she is known by the name The Mikaelsons gave to her.

- Bryn is born a witch. Her mother is a Satanist whom, while adores her, also believes that the purer the sacrifice, the purer and stronger the magic so she tries to sacrifice her newborn daughter. It is likely that when Mikael ran the woman through with a sword, her power went to Bryn instead, given a ritual had already been started. This made Bryn's powers as a child present very strongly and the child struggled to control them. Esther binds her powers at the age of four years old because of this.

- After her powers are bound, Bryn feels an loss of identity. She would watch her brothers and eventually, pick up a sword Niklaus had dropped and beg her brothers to teach her in secret. When Mikael finds out, be makes one of her brother's sword fight her until the girl literally collapses, obviously not being skilled enough and then demands she gets up until she can't anymore. When this doesn't deter her, he caves and it's something she would eventually find herself very good at— though she never touches a sword again after her father drives his through her heart in order to force her to turn.

- It's shortly after changing her name that confrontations with Niklaus begin and she gets herself daggered after repeatedly trying to undagger her brother. She is only daggered for a short period of time— Elijah undaggering her. She flees shortly after this event, refusing to stick around.

- Between 1820 and 1826, Bryn begins to set up a network of vampires, witches and humans alike that feed her information— specifically about her siblings. This is not to say that the information is always correct or she gets it at the correct time. While this network is originally created during these six years, she adds to it throughout the centuries— primarily using compulsion.

- In 1831, Mikael tracks her down for the first time since leaving her siblings. He uses the human girl whom she has befriended and saved as bait to draw her out. He has no intentions of killing her at this time, only getting into her mind to find out where siblings, particularly Niklaus are. This fails and she manages to escape with both herself and a critically injured Raven. This is when she she turns her and creates her first and only progeny.

- Before leaving Mystic Falls, torn apart by grief over the loss of her brother's, Bryn leaves Rebekah a note with her phone number enclosed. The two exchange very few messages or calls but this is how she contacts her when Elijah goes missing, driving her to New Orleans.

As for my own edits , Henrik died at age 18, to make it appropriate for this roleplay. He died at the hands a wolf, and died in his families arms. This was over 1000 years ago. He was taken to the other side, and as he has warlock blood, he watched his family from a far. He had been moved from other supernatural kind to watch his siblings, and for every wrong doing they made, he would pay for it. Any deaths they caused, he felt them, causing a lot of irreversible psychological trauma for him.

He has been brought back to 'put an end' to his siblings, and he resents them for what he has had to go through at their hands.

Klaus found out very early on about his mothers betrayal and his true linage. Feeling robbed of what he could be, he's spent a good amount of his time looking for ways to unlock his werewolf side and become a true hybrid.

He knew he needed a doppelganger, and that is where Katerina came into play until she turned herself.

Klaus, being petty and vengeful sought out her family and killed them.

Throughout the years, Klaus has made a name for himself and not a very good one. He's feared and he enjoys it - partly because it's a bit of a power trip and mostly because it's that fear that has kept his family alive.

He's a bit skewed. Very protective of his family until it comes to him daggering them on a whim.

Like everyone else, Klaus is drawn back to his hometown by that invisible thread and rumors of another doppelganger residing in town. His plan is still very much to unlock his wolf and become a hybrid.

Klaus has been all over the world, many times over but his favorite place remains to be New Orleans and Paris.

The Tragic Hero

      Growing up, Niklaus lived with his single mother and grandfather in a shady part of town where crime ran rampant. Starting from a young age, Niklaus had witnessed shootouts, robberies, assaults- and each time he desperately wished he’d been able to do something. His mother saw this in her son, the sheer determination in his eyes when someone helpless was in trouble. A look in his eyes much like his fathers. But as kind a person she was, she always reminded Nik to never get involved, for it’d only mean the worst off they’d be. 

Living in a family with low income, by his senior year of high school Niklaus chose to drop out and find himself a job to help bring in extra cash, much to his mom’s dismay. He worked at an adult toy and video store for a good year and a half, the seedy manager deliberately ignoring that he started work at only seventeen. During this time, Niklaus had met all sorts of people- but one stood out among the rest. A business man, who despite having a loving photo of him and his family in his wallet, took an interest in Niklaus. The blond merely thought they were friends, the man a fun conversationalist and someone Nik had started to look up to. But three days after Nik’s eighteenth birthday, the man asked to meet in a small park, tucked away and hidden by dense trees. It was there that he tried to kiss Nik, refusing to accept that Nik didn’t feel the same. But the moment their lips touched, the man’s life was sapped from his body. His corpse slumped to the ground, paper white and merely a husk. 

Hearing the news of a man found dead so close to Nik’s work, his mother’s pleading finally got to him. He quit his job and returned to school to get his GED. During this time, Nik tried to avoid any and all intimate contact- uncertain and traumatized by the man’s death. He was certain that sooner or later, the cops would be at his door for the murder, but they never came. Instead, other than that one news report, the well established business man and his family were never talked about again. Niklaus spent many restless nights thinking about the man’s death; Why it happened, how it happened. He knew that eventually he would need answers, and in the end, with his questions still gnawing at his brain, Niklaus had gone off in the middle of night to find someone to kiss. 

Nothing had come out of his kissing frenzy. No one had fallen over dead ( instead, Nik was sporting a good amount of welts across his cheek from every random bystander he decided to land a peck on ), and he finally settled the curiosity that tormented him. He chalked it off as a fluke; the man had a heart attack, maybe he took something before meeting him- anything to convince himself that he wasn’t directly responsible for his death. 

The night of his graduation, Nik and his grandfather went out to grab a couple items to celebrate. During their walk back from the small corner store, a group of men attempted to mug them at knifepoint. This wasn’t the first time Niklaus had a knife pressed against his throat, and he knew it wouldn’t be last. His mother’s reminder had him ready to hand over all he could, trained to submit at a young age. But when he had glanced over at his grandfather, scared and shaking and pleading for the group of men not to kill his grandson, something within Nik snapped. By some miracle, Nik was able to send the men flying with a single punch, fighting off the group without so much as a scratch; Until he was stabbed in the ribs. He remembers that brief second of pain until... Nothing. The wound faded instantly, and the only evidence was the rip in his shirt and the specks of blood surrounding it. 

Rushing his grandfather and himself home, neither of them spoke of the incident. Both far too shocked to even meet each other’s eyes. But for Niklaus, this served as confirmation. There was something abnormal about his body, and he wanted to learn more. His experimentation began with self inflicted wounds, healing not nearly as quick as the one he got on the night of the mugging, but still at a speed not normal for humans. The frequent tests he put his body through helped discover every power that once lay hidden. He thought he was invincible, and acted as such. His mother’s advice now forgotten, he finally did as he pleased: fought back against every injustice he happened upon. 

Though, he learned quickly that every action has consequences, regardless of good intentions. In his quest to use his newly found abilities for good, he had come home after a night of crimefighting to find the bodies of both his mother and grandfather. Shot and left bleeding. 

Immortality (Superhuman Healing)

Because of how quickly Niklaus can heal, he’s just on the cusp of reaching immortality. Every stab wound, broken bone, gunshot, anything that puts his life at risk is all healed at alarming speeds. This power has even began to slow down his aging process, something that will begin the moment he reaches his early thirties. The only exceptions to his fast regeneration is if his heart is torn out, head cut off, or if his body is damaged beyond repair ( i.e torn apart, set on fire, diced up, ect ). These can take months to years to heal depending on the severity of it. The only way to kill Nik is to destroy his entire body, not even one hair follicle can be left remaining. So Niklaus is close to reaching immortality, but isn’t quite there.

Enhanced Reflexes 

As it states- His reaction time to anything is doubled compared to an average person. While he’s still getting the hang of all the hero work and still gets a solid punch to the face now and then, Nik is quick to dodge any threat coming his way. However, it’s an ability Nik needs some getting used to. He has trouble slowing down and processing who’s who when his adrenaline is up. To his embarrassment, there’s been a few times he’s almost hit the victim in his rush to save them. 

Super Strength 

He can destroy buildings, lift semi-trucks, stop a train if he wanted- but his strength does have limits. If he were to be put at the very bottom of the ocean, there wouldn’t be much he could do besides crawl. His strength is one thing he’s very careful with, Nik understands that he’s able to kill a person with one small, wrong move, and therefore, keeps himself in check when it has to be used. Though, Niklaus does have a short temper, and when he’s agitated it’s hard for him to focus on reeling himself in. 

Life Absorption 

A power Nik knows he has, but rarely ever uses. When kissing someone, Nik has the ability to drain the life from them and use their stolen energy to make himself stronger, or if it’s another being with powers, Nik can absorb a very small portion of that power and use it. To his relief, this ability can be controlled, so he’s not killing someone every time he lands a kiss. But he does have to be careful. He’s had barely any practice to get used to the ability, so if he lets his guard down, it could mean the accidental end for his partner. 

Hover (Levitation)

No matter how much he wishes he could fly, he can’t. But he does have the capability to levitate, and while he can’t go super high up, it’s definitely been the most useful when he’s fallen out of buildings or needs to get up a flight of stairs quicker.

Biography; Kol Mikaelson (Elder Futhark: ᚲᛟᛚ ᛗᛁᚲᚨᛖᛚᛋᛟᚾ) is a major recurring character on The Originals. He also had a recurring role in the third, fourth and fifth season of The Vampire Diaries, where he served as an antagonist and anti-hero. Kol is also the main protagonist of the short web series The Originals: The Awakening.

Kol is the third son of Mikael and Esther. He is the younger brother of Freya, Finn, Elijah and older brother of Rebekah and Henrik and the younger half-brother of Klaus. He is the uncle of Freya and Mathias' unborn son, Klaus and Hayley's daughter, Hope, and Freya and Keelin's son, Nik.

Throughout his life, Kol struggled emotionally with his status as the black sheep of the family, and the belief that his siblings considered him to be more of a nuisance than their own brother. He was shown to be rather spiteful and jealous over Marcel Gerard, whom he perceived was treated more like family than he ever was. As a result of this insecurity, Kol often lashed out violently which earned him a dangerous reputation and on occasion, the ire of his siblings. In reality, his bad behavior is revealed to be simple cries for attention.

During the fourth season of The Vampire Diaries, Kol feared the return of Silas and was adamant about stopping him. He antagonized the Mystic Falls Gang and at one point Elena Gilbert proposed a truce between them. However, the truce was really a setup to kill Kol and it ultimately led to his demise at the hands of Jeremy Gilbert in A View to a Kill. In the fifth season, Kol was seen on the Other Side as it was slowly collapsing due to Markos' emergence. He encountered Matt Donovan and expressed fear for himself and the other supernatural beings on the Other Side. Kol told Matt to warn everybody who was alive.

Kol escaped the destruction of The Other Side as seen in the second season of The Originals. His mother, Esther managed to resurrect him and place him into the body of a young witch named Kaleb Westphall. He temporarily aided his mother and his recently resurrected brother, Finn, but quickly followed his own agenda. He ended up pursuing a relationship with the young witch Davina Claire, and joined his brothers Klaus and Elijah, where he ultimately helped them defeat Esther and their father Mikael, once and for all. However, in retaliation for assisting his brothers in stopping their mother by turning her into a vampire, Finn hexed Kol with a deadly spell in Sanctuary. He consequently died for the second time in I Love You, Goodbye, surrounded by his family and girlfriend. Moments before Kol's death, Rebekah promised to bring Kol back.

While looking for ways to bring back Kol in Wild at Heart, Davina casted a suspension spell and poisoned herself in order to access the Ancestral Plane to see Kol and confirm if a spell The Strix gave her could actually resurrect him. Although the spell is an effective one, Kol tried to lie and say it wasn't because he was worried about the consequences of using it. As Davina is discovered and flees from the Ancestors' realm, she realizes Kol's attempt at deception for her protection. Kol holds the Ancestors off long enough for his girlfriend to escape.

In Heart Shaped Box, Davina uses a Hand of Glory to bring Kol forth from the Ancestral Plane in order to figure out the missing ingredient for the Sireline Unlinking Spell. He attempts to lie to her by saying that the spell is impossible to break, but she uses her intuition and logic to figure out that the missing ingredient is an unsired heart which Kol devastatingly confirms. After Kol draws magic from the Hand of Glory to knock her out in order to effectively put down the rest of the Sisters that were attempting to extract Hayley's heart, Davina wakes up a few hours later. She looks at the Hand of Glory and becomes upset that they have wasted so much time. She tearfully tells him that she loves him and shares a goodbye kiss with him before the candle blows out and Kol is sent back to the Ancestral Plane.

In A Streetcar Named Desire, Kol is successfully resurrected in his true form as an Original Vampire by Davina. In An Old Friend Calls, Kol tells Davina her spell brought him back how he was when he died in the body she resurrected, his true body, which was an Original Vampire. After she made him a daylight ring, Kol is reunited with all of his siblings and received a warm welcome from all his siblings except for his murderous brother Finn and Rebekah who was daggered for her own safety after being afflicted by the Cursed Stake.

In Behind the Black Horizon, it was revealed by Davina that the Ancestors had corrupted the spell that brought him back to life, causing him to want to rip out Davina's throat, making him slowly become more feral and to give in to his heightened bloodlust until he does. The more he resists killing Davina, the more Kol becomes savage and thirsty for blood to the point he was a mindless animal looking only to feed, beyond thought or reason. It was only after he killed Davina that a horrified Kol was released from the curse, and he was devastated for having unknowingly killed the love of his life.

In The Bloody Crown, after Marcel completed his transition into an Upgraded Original Vampire, he used his toxic werewolf bite on both Kol and Elijah as revenge for Davina's death from Elijah's betrayal, and for Kol having unwillingly killed Davina due to the Ancestors. A poisoned Freya saves Kol, Elijah, Rebekah, and herself by using the spell Dahlia cast to survive a thousand years, to put them all in a slumber in stasis to prevent the poisons from killing them until Hayley can find cures for them. They are linked to a neutralized Klaus' lifeforce, while their minds are in a Chambre de Chasse, to be with each other in peace until they awake.

In the fourth season, he is cured from the bite and heads to France with Rebekah. They return back to New Orleans after Elijah's temporary death and he finds that The Hollow has brought Davina back to life. When The Hollow possesses Hope, he and his siblings use themselves to separate the Hollow's spirit and he leaves for San Francisco. Seven years later, it is also revealed that he and Davina are now married.

Personality: In a way Einar takes after both his parents, but he is his own man in his own right. He is quiet and rational, known to be very independent, creative and self-motivated therefore strives to do things his own way. Unlike many, he does not rely on the status quo. He can be ambitious and won't stop until he's achieved his definition of success. Because of this he can be very stubborn. He is open to new ideas but can be skeptical by nature, often questioning things in order to properly understand a concept.

He is prone to being rather dismissive of emotions given his more rational side which often means he struggles to relate or understand others on an emotional level and can get frustrated. However, he can have great deal of self-control, particularly when it comes to thoughts and feelings, most of the time. There are certain times when he will loose his temper and become uncontrollably aggressive this is due to his werewolf nature. When the people in his life fail to match his level of restraint, he can appear scathingly critical and can get rather impatient. He sometimes gets caught up in arguing because he hates blindly following anything without understanding why. He has a kind demeanour and portrays himself as a gentle natured soul but despite that, Einar can sometimes be manipulative even when he doesn't realise he's doing it.

He isn’t a social butterfly, even though he seems like he can hold a conversation he is a difficult individual to get to know and can be a mysterious when it comes to revealing anything about himself. If forced into large gatherings he will often keep to himself or in the shadows, trying not to get too heavily involved. Getting to know people and making friends has never been Einar’s strong suit and he is okay with that. He enjoys his own company and is more than happy to discover life on his own.

Backstory:

Note: Nothing below is canon in anyway, shape or form! Do NOT take seriously!

Einar Lokison/Mikaelson, a name derived from Old Norse meaning ‘lone warrior’, the name given to him by his favourite uncle Elijah. He was born in New Orleans, USA Louisiana to the infamous Werewolf-Vampire hybrid Klaus Mikaelson who for a very brief period of time (literally a night) visited his favourite city and Loki Laufeyson—who at the time was in feminine form and went by the name Lotus—yes, the Norse God of Mischief. Being the firstborn, Einar was the heir to Asgard’s throne however Loki did not wish for his son to return with him to his respected universe because of his tainted blood as a werewolf-vampire hybrid instead he deemed him ‘An Immortal Mistake’ and claimed that he’d never be worthy to be called a Prince of Asgard and so Loki left Einar under the care and protection of the Mikaelsons.

Although, at this time Klaus never really cared for kids and was hell bent on creating a name for himself as the big bad therefore rarely spent time with his son. Despite that, he did care that his son never was properly influenced by his mad state and so trusted his siblings to care for Einar. Elijah, his uncle was the fill in, as was Rebekah, Einar’s aunty when Klaus was in one of his rampages. His time spent with the siblings was filled with learning about his family’s story and who they were. While his werewolf side lay dormant and his vampirism meant he’d have to die to turn he spent his time focusing on unlocking his magical side. Einar’s uncle Kol was skilled in the art and helped him to discover and harness his gift. As a firstborn his abilities came on stronger which caused bursts of rage. It took him a little while to properly control the Mikaelson witch inside of him. Aside from this he was fully unaware of his Jotunn genes or the Asgardian Magic he could of leant from Loki, only learning that he was more sensitive to heat than anyone else.

When Einar was about 8 he experienced his first time fleeing from Mikael, his grandfather and the ruthless vampire hunter that his father and the rest of the family had been running for centuries. Elijah, Rebekah and Niklaus argued on the best way to safely protect Einar, however they ended up hiding in a small town in Spain for the good part of an entire year. There the Mikaelson family hid in plain sight, blending into their environment and with the people there. Einar was able to learn Spanish for the most part. It was a year later that they returned to America, seeking shelter in Canada for a short span of time before Klaus and Elijah got into a massive disagreement that ended with Klaus leaving with Einar and moving once again to Norway in hopes of throwing Mikael off. He was around the age of 10 at the time. They spent about a year or so there meaning that Einar was about 11 when they returned home to America.

On their return, Klaus told his son that he was on some mission to find a special stone that would give him access to his wolf side. Naturally, Einar was curious and had no choice but to join his father in hunting for the Moonstone. They travelled all over the country in search of this stone. In this story, Einar was thrown into the real world of being a vampire. Despite Elijah’s efforts to keep him from the pain and torment that his younger brother was causing, Einar was exposed to the cruelty his father could bring. It around this time that he started to question, challenge and rebel against the rules that were often placed upon him in order to keep him safe.

It was when he was about 13 that Loki finally decided to show up in his life, returning to demand that Einar fall under his custody. Despite Elijah’s arguments and Niklaus’ threats, Loki wouldn’t take no as an answer and ripped Einar away from the Mikaelsons entirely and brought him back to his own earth. There he was forced into the life of being an older brother, helping to care for his apparent younger sisters, Vera who was 4 and Rúna (@wolfyocs) who was 2 at the time of his arrival. It took quite a bit of time but he adjusted to his situation and spent 4 whole years under Loki’s protection despite being rather distant and reluctant to build any connection with him. Einar grew rather close and adored his youngest sister, Rúna even though she was so young at the time.

After 4 reasonably peaceful years, it was unfortunately at the age of 17 that he got into an argument with Loki about how incredibly wrong it was for him to take him away from the Mikaelsons given in his eyes they were his actual family. This fight happened to break out of a trip to the park. He lost control of his temper and an unexpected burst of magic was released from him, accidentally killing several adults and sadly kids in the process. In doing so he triggered his werewolf curse.

Naturally, Einar felt terrible for what he had done and went into hiding with the help of Wanda and Pietro. However, during the full moon of that month Einar turned into a wolf for the first time. He almost killed Rúna and according to Loki had to be knocked out by magic to properly contain him. It was after that night that Loki made the decision and kicked him out of the house indefinitely saying he was a danger to his sisters and everyone around him and had proven to be the Immortal Mistake that he had been called the day he had been born.

Einar was forced to disappear from his sister’s lives and fend for himself. He spent that year of his life trying to figure out how to return to the universe he had come from previously. He wanted to go home. It wasn’t until late November in that year that he finally discovered the portal his father-mother had been using. Without hesitation he travelled through the portal and returned to New Orleans. He was welcomed back with open arms and tears, well at least from Rebekah. His father wasn’t the crying type. He learnt that time was a little different in that universe and meant that he was technically 18. Dimension jumping was weird. He was told of the problems surrounding the New Orleans witches and the threat they were to the soon to be newest member of the Mikaelson family. Einar of course by habit was determined to help protect the apparent ‘Miracle Baby’ that would be his sister. However, his efforts were stopped when the witches put a hex on him, or at least attempted to do so. He was a lot more powerful in his magic than they anticipated and he cast a protection spell, it wasn’t enough because it only managed to effect the colouring of his eyes which turned from blue to steal grey, his sight isn’t best but his werewolf side helps him with proper navigation.

As a result of his failure, Hayley Marshall was forced to give birth to a daughter. The witches took the baby and killed Hayley in the process in need for completing a sacrifice without interruption. They were not counting on Einar to storm in on them in a Mikaelson rage in revenge for them cutting off his efforts to fulfil the protection of his baby sister. In the mitts of his anger he killed 5 witches in total, ultimately upsetting the balance within the witch covens. His father wasn’t genuinely surprised by his burst of anger, but what did confuse him was the lack of remorse Einar felt towards the killings. He was surprised when his son claimed that the lives taken were worth it because Hope Mikaelson, his sister was safe. Of course in Klaus’ eyes he couldn’t disagree with that. However, Elijah pointed out the problem with that revelation and voiced his concerns.

After considerate thinking and analysing of his own actions, Einar made the decision to leave the protection of the Mikaelsons in order to try and ‘find himself’ and Although, on the day he left which was a week after his nineteenth birthday he was ambushed by an outsider pack of werewolves. They captured, tortured and killed him claiming that he was a parasite to the werewolf bloodlines. It was his father who found him lying dead a few hours later in a warehouse just outside of New Orleans. Einar awoke moments later, in transition, in order to complete his transition he needed to drink human blood. Klaus took him back to the New Orleans compound where he completed his transition and became the first Jotunn/Asgardian-Supernatural Tribrid.

The Mikaelsons taught Einar how to properly control his blood lust, however by the age of 20 his magic was growing stronger. With the arrival of Freya Mikaelson, Klaus’ lost older sister, together they learnt that he alone was becoming a beacon for a much greater threat than the Original Vampire family had ever faced, mulitversal bounty hunters. Much to Elijah and Klaus’ uncertainty and in order to protect his family, Einar finally left New Orleans, fleeing across the world to Norway in hopes that whatever or whoever was after him would be drawn away. His plan in fact did work because shortly after arriving in Norway he was faced with strange people who came in through portals and attempted to capture him. Being more prepared and having reasonably good control of his magic, Einar managed to fight off the hunters long enough to make an escape. It’s worth noting that he is basically self taught in a lot of his magic excluding the Mikaelson witch inside of him. In those three years, Loki never bothered to teach him Asgardian Magic. Anyway, he created his first tear in space and time, a portal that he had no choice but to dive into in order to survive.

For a good 2 years he hopped his way through different dimensions. Not on a regular basis because creating portals drained his abilities but enough times to avoid being noticed or tracked easily by hunters. He spent a lot of his time in wolf form or pulling a classic Mikaelson and constantly staying on the move once he’d settled on a universe to hid in. Those few years were tough especially being a novice to the entire concept of the multiverse. In his time learning how to navigate his portal openings Einar made errors, usually involving him landing in apocalyptic worlds or universes where chaos and destruction was the epicentre. He saw a lot of death and everything that came with it. Of course there are various side stories to be shared that happened within those years.

When he was about 23 he grew extremely exhausted from the constant paranoia, anxiety and ptsd and turned his humanity off, as a vampire he had that ability meaning exactly what it states. He pulled a switch on his emotions, basically having second to no feelings about anything whatsoever. His time as a vamp with no humanity lasted an entire year and a half (see side stories for better detail) and was not the really considered the highlight of his life either, like most vampires it was a time of darkness, a journey to find better light. Still, he powered forward, determined to continue to live the second life he had been given to him at least to the best of his ability.

Around the age of 25 Einar was one day unfortunately caught off guard and captured by HYDRA. (See side stories for more!) They experimented and ‘studied’ on him for 2 years before he finally escaped. He then spent the next couple of years hiding out, devising a plan to destroy the place that held him captive and made his life a living hell. Only one thing came back as a positive, Einar learnt of his sister Rúna’s whereabouts. Only recently he multiverse hopped into the earth where Rúna lives with the avengers and her other siblings. He made attempts to reach her before finally managing to land in that current universe.

- He is not worthy to pick up Mjölnir despite not having any real malicious intent.

- He can’t shapeshift like other children of Loki but can only shift into a wolf, because he is a hybrid he can do so voluntarily and willingly.

- Like any other vampire he does need human blood in order to survive otherwise he would desiccate.

- He loves animals, has always wanted a horse!

- Einar was actually named after his uncle Elijah’s favourite horse that he had when he was much younger.

- His wolf form is black with deep amber glowing eyes.

- He has a scar down his left eye, it’s evidence of the hex the New Orleans witches tried to put on him. Because of his healing factor, he possess no other physical scars.

- The only thing that can kill him is the one of the kind Red Oak that sprouted only in the New Orleans of his universe after Einar unlocked his full Tribrid self.

- Jazz music has a deep effect on him because of his connection with New Orleans. It’s the only way to calm his wolf when he becomes too aggressive.

Niklaus was born into poverty in 1923 to fisherman of a father and a mother who made dresses out of their tiny 3 bedroom house. He was the 2nd born and the first oldest of 7 children. He stopped attending school in the middle of grade 7 when his father died during the Second World War and started working in a paint factory to help support the family. In 1942, at just 19, Niklaus enlisted in the German army to further support his family as his factory had been closed down a few months prior. He never believed in the war or most of the news of why they were fighting. He believed what his parents taught him that the world wasn’t as black and white as the politicians in charge made it seem to be. As the war took its final turn, Niklaus fled his post upon learning of the true horrors of the army he was fighting for.

During his abandoned, he helped 3 men and a woman flea from their annex to flea with him. In the snowy woods away from most of the fighting, Niklaus broke his leg but continued on the march of hope to freedom, making the break worse, eventually stopping in a small cave in a hillside while telling the others to go on without him. When Elric arrived, he was sure he was hallucinating from the infection in his leg and told the man his story, forcing mostly on his siblings back home and of the stories of the 4 people he had been traveling with. He spoke of all of them with fondness, praying they all lived to the end of the violence they were stuck in. When Elric asked him what he would do if he was given the gift of immortality, he laughed and said he would use his immortality to kill Hitler and end the war. He then went on to say he’d spend the rest of his days trying to make amends with every single person he wrong by joining the German army. The next thing he knew he was crawling out of the dirt, scared and confused with a powerful hunger he couldn’t understand. Elric stayed with him through the haze of being a newborn and helped him feed and explained what was in fact happening.

For years following the end of the war and his transformation, Niklaus followed Elric dutifully while he learned to control himself. Even after he was “set free” to be on his own, he chose to stick close to the elder, unable to bring himself to return to his family. Years later, through word of mouth and public records, he learned that his father, two sisters, and a brother had all perished since he had left for the war. His mother had been put into an asylum, diagnosed with insanity upon the death of so many of her children.  During his travels, he kept his promise to his maker and did his best to help where he could in efforts to help after the war. For years he worked rebuilding from the destruction and helping to reconnect families separated by the war.

In the mid seventies, he left Elric’s companionship to explore for himself. While many moved on with their lives as yet another war ended, he dwelled in the past, still donating large sums of money to various organizations and charities that were founded due to the wars. In his travels people cared less about the accent he couldn’t shake and more about who he was. He lied of course, saying he fled his homeland with his family if he was ever asked, claiming to have lived in the slums of New York City.  As the years dwindled on, Niklaus stayed on the move, unable to come up with a reasonable explanation as to why he never aged. Around the mid-nineties, he returned to Elric’s side, craving connection and a familial type relationship and eventually ended up in Deerhaven, the town he now calls home.
