Completely different topic but all this Wicked promo makes me so nostalgic, thinking back to when I worked at Wicked Tokyo for a month as part of my internship. It was when Megumi Hamada was Elphaba and my dear Kuri-san, who I already knew from my prior 1 month at the Lion King, who played Scar for the time I worked there and then switched to Wicked, was the wizard. I met so many amazing people there, made friends and amazing memories I will cherish forever. As the story goes:

Adding another story... when I started working at the Lion King, there was this girl who never looked at me, never really talked to me.. She was sitting across my spot in the costume department and I really thought damn she really must dislike me.. until one day another co worker told me when she heard a girl from Germany would come, she bought a dictionary because she was so excited to meet me and then she turned out so shy and nervous she wouldn't even tell me about it or even speak to me and once I knew the ice broke and she finally brought her book and we talked and all.. and later .. I'm really crying while typing this.. she had one holiday and she chose to spend it with me and we had such a great, fun day together. I just think that if the other one hadn't said something maybe she never would have brought it up. But I was shy and nervous and she was too.. 🥹 I often think back to this because so often things in life aren't what they seem and judging too soon can cost you a wonderful moment or a potential friend.

There was one time before s4 of Monkie Kid aired where I was like, "MK is totally gonna parallel Mei from 3x10 and he's going to leave because he's scared of his own power", and let me tell you, watching s4 was the most validating experience of my life
