i'm one hundred percent certain that after percy and annabeth made out underwater. and he wanted to make their relationship official. the question was not "will you be my girlfriend?" but "can i be your boyfriend?" i don't care what the canon says. percy gave annabeth the space to take the lead in the relationship. because after a lifetime of being abandoned by everyone she dared to care for. and then watching her on the brink of a panic attack at the thought of losing him the last four years. he wanted to honor a new beginning between them by follow her lead and moving at her pace.

Eddie is on tour during July, so Steve decides to join him bc why the hell not. The corroded coffin TikTok page has been consistently getting 30,000 views for each video because their social media manager sucks ass and doesn’t know what the people want from their favorite artists.

But a video of the four guys goofing off goes pretty viral and they jump from 50k followers to 2 million in a week. The social media guy quits and Eddie, Gareth, Jeff, and Freak all take turns posting videos, which helps them build a shitload of traction.

It’s eddie’s turn to post a video and Steve is in the background with all of his diabetes stuff spread around him. He’s putting on a new cgm onto the back of his arm.

Everyone starts to freak out because people are super uneducated on what diabetes is and they immediately accuse Steve of doing drugs and other nefarious stuff. It gets so bad that they have to disable to comment section on that video.

Eddie comes out with a video a few days later stating:

“Hey, that’s my boyfriend. He has type one diabetes and was just putting on his new dexcom. Stop being assholes. Thank you!”

It’s very short and succinct and people turn eddie’s millennial pause at the beginning into a meme that haunts him forever.

(A week later, Steve has multiple fan pages dedicated to him, which he never sees because he is a grandpa at heart who is scared by social media.)

one of my favorite things abt dipcifica is that dipper is confident around pacifica unlike how she acts around other girls… leaves so much opportunity for pacifica to be the one who’s frazzled/easily embarrassed in their relationship :] even though we all know they're both a mess by virtue of how awkward growing up is.

thinking abt how your lip piercings get stuck together during one of your first kisses with bakugou,, you're sat on his lap with your arms resting on his shoulders and neck while his are on your waist. there isn't a single inch between your bodies as you melt into each other; it's still so new and it's exciting and his lips are so soft and he smells so good and you want more and more and more.

when you finally decide to pull away and catch your breath, you feel him dig his fingers into your sides with a hiss. you follow his gaze and look at where the two little silver rings are connected; bakugou's face grows a deeper shade of pink at the proximity but it's not like he's really doing anything to get himself out of the situation.

you let out a chuckle and he's quick to scold you while forcing down a lovesick grin.

"don't laugh, idiot."

his hands are warm on your skin. you feel his chest heaving and you wonder whether his heart is beating as fast as yours is.

"sorry, sorry."

your cheeks hurt from smiling.

neither of you have made a move to seperate the rings. you're comfortable on his lap, with your lips ghosting over his as he stares at you. this feels... right, if anything.

your noses brush together when he speaks. "are we gonna stay like this, hm?"

you hum.

"maybe."

he clicks his tongue and you know he's about to make a stupid remark, so you cut him off by kissing him again.

you swallow the groan that crawls up his throat and grin against him. his arms snake from your waist to the small of your back and you arch further into him on instinct.

perhaps he doesn't regret getting the piercing anymore...
