lifeguard! hobie x lifeguard! reader 🫣
hobie is definitely one of those lifeguards who gets attention from every girl (he never gives it back..)
but let’s talk about what y’all do in the locker room…
“shh..don’t wanna get caught, right?” hobie grins, pushing your legs up to your chest. your eyes rolling to the back of your head. “no no no…don’t wanna get caught…” you whimper, gripping hobie’s forearm. “love it so much..love you..” hobie groans, leaning down to pull at your bottom lip with his teeth.
or let’s talk about how the two of you laugh at people walking around the beach!!
“damn, why she walking like that?…” you giggle, hobie holding back his laughter. “these bbls is killing yall..” you mumble, watching a lady waddle her way down the beach. “damn!” hobie yells, rocking back and forth with laughter
i giggled while writing this

managing stress of psychosis
in other words, what are some coping mechanisms for psychosis? for things like hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia getting bad.
1. avoidance strategies: this can look like avoiding people you're delusional about, or avoiding places you hallucinate in, or avoiding things like drugs that make your paranoia worse.
2. distracting strategies: these are just your hobbies but maybe if you're hallucinating right now, a hobby that requires the attention of your eyes could help you like drawing or reading. and if those things aren't helping maybe focus on a hobby that requires other senses like meditating or listening to music with your eyes closed. maybe a nap would be helpful. if you're actively delusional maybe you could engage in a hobby that demands present mindfulness and demands your present thoughts like cooking or working out.
3. treatment strategies: medication, talk therapy, art therapy, animal therapy, natural remedies? etc.
4. direct strategies: i made up this phrase to encompass directly acknowledging what symptom you're facing. maybe that looks like talking to a carer, a therapist, a family member, a friend, or a partner about your hallucinations. on slide 9 of this reference, you can see how to helpfully engage in a conversation with someone who has shared their hallucinations with you. slide 8 of the same reference mentions how to helpfully engage in a conversation with someone who has shared their delusions. one strategy is to talk through the emotions attached to the delusions. if you're alone you can still explore these emotions in a journal. i love exploring possible deeper meanings of my current emotions. one of my ex therapists said "there's always a reason for an emotion." based on this specific strategy of exploring emotions attached to the delusions, I also think it can be worthwhile to ask yourself questions about your hallucinations like how am i feeling right now? and if you're feeling fear you can ask yourself is there anything in reality that I'm afraid of? I specifically mention fear because I struggle with it as a central theme in my psychosis. the purpose of that 2nd question is to take the fuel out of the hallucination by establishing your material safety that is rooted in reality whereas the fear or danger I may be experiencing is only in my unreality. The separation between reality and unreality may not be something everyone agrees with, but this is a direct approach I use. There's visualizations about what you're seeing or hearing such as visualizing destroying your voices or hallucinations, praying about your symptoms, making contracts with voices or hallucinations, just talking to voices and listening to what they have to say with a compassionate ear.

If I saved the money I had spent on therapy for the past 3 years I bet I could afford a boob job. Maybe a bbl. Or maybe a nose job idk. But the point is I didn’t and I have nothing to show for it because I’m still depressed and crazy and suicidal and I hate myself. I’d rather feel all that and have plastic surgery than feel all that and still look like I do lol

I have an eating disorder. I have had an eating disorder since I was sixteen. Growing up, I watched my mother struggle with her own eating disorder, and even though she tried her best to shield me from it, that mentality was passed down early on. It became ingrained in me before I even fully understood what it was. And here’s the hard truth—eating disorders never truly go away. It’s not something you recover from in the way people think. Therapy can help, but it’s like a bad taste that lingers in your mouth.
What’s even more frightening is how normalized eating disorder culture has become, especially on social media. I constantly see content that repackages and recycles toxic ideology from ED culture, and it’s genuinely concerning. We live in a world where “thin-fluencers” are a thing—people whose entire brand revolves around promoting thinness as a form of success or beauty. It’s beyond messed up. And it’s not just a passing phase; it’s part of an ongoing trend. We’ve cycled through so many harmful beauty standards—from the "slim thick", bbl craze to now, once again, glorifying being rail-thin, much like in the early 2000s.
These trends don’t just appear out of nowhere—they’re cyclical. The problem is, if you’re someone who already has low self-esteem or is surrounded by people who reinforce unhealthy body standards, these trends can hit you hard. They start to seep into your daily thoughts, influencing the way you see yourself and your body. It starts to cling to every choice you make. For someone who’s predisposed to an eating disorder, this can be incredibly dangerous. One of the most damaging aspects of eating disorder culture is the way it assigns moral value to food. The idea that certain foods are “good” or “bad” is not only flawed but harmful. Eating a salad is often viewed as “virtuous,” while eating a slice of pizza might be considered “indulgent” or “bad.” This kind of thinking strips food of its real purpose. Human beings don’t eat purely for survival. Food is also about culture, comfort, community, and celebration. By attaching moral value to what we eat, we erase all of that richness and reduce the act of eating to a transaction of good versus bad. It reduces eating to a black-and-white system, where you’re either doing something right or something wrong every time you sit down for a meal.
The truth is, food doesn’t have moral attributes. It never will. A donut isn’t “bad” and a salad isn’t “good.” They’re just different kinds of food that serve different purposes for our bodies. You don’t have to earn your food. You don't have to punish yourself for enjoying a chocolate bar. You deserve to eat.
What’s even more alarming to me lately is how many men I’ve encountered who are being affected by ED culture without even realizing it. It’s not just a women’s issue. Men are falling into these traps too, and in some cases, it’s even more dangerous because there’s such a lack of awareness and open dialogue about it among men.
Men are under immense pressure to look a certain way, but the standards set for them are different. While women often face the expectation to be thin, men are caught in this bizarre tug-of-war between being lean and muscular—fit but not too bulky, strong but not “too big.” Fitness culture is often intertwined with ED tendencies, encouraging obsessive behavior around food, exercise, and body shape. We see it all the time.
What’s worse is that these harmful behaviors are often masked as “self-improvement” or “discipline” within male dominated spaces.
Eating disorders offer a false sense of control. They make you feel like you’re doing something right, like you’re finally taking charge of your life. But that’s where the danger lies. The more you cling to that control, the deeper it digs its claws into you. The comfort an ED provides is a trap—it tricks you into thinking you’re achieving something meaningful, when in reality, it’s taking more and more from you with every though and action it contorts. I refuse to praise anyone for eating smaller portions or congratulate someone for eating more, with the exception being recovery. I always remain silent on the topic of food. I will not feed into the narrative that shrinking your body will somehow make you more valuable.
The worst part is an eating disorder warps your perception of others. The deeper you fall into that mindset, the more fatphobic and cruel you become (towards yourself and/or others)—sometimes without even realizing it. It’s not that you’re trying to be cruel, but it makes it easy to look down on people who don’t do the things you do. You might start to believe that being thin makes you inherently better than others, that your portion controlled plate makes you more superior than the person who just ate two bowls of pasta cause they weren't full yet. It’s so heartbreaking to see people in the community making videos or posts that they believe are inspirational because they are so out of touch with reality, when all they’re really doing is perpetuating harm. And the people who are most likely to be affected by it are those already struggling, those who don’t need that added pressure or negativity.
ED culture is a toxic, all-consuming thing. It’s not just about food; it affects every aspect of your life. For me, despite therapy and countless years of trying to rewire the way I think, I find it nearly impossible to engage in physical activity without becoming fixated on weight loss. This can drive me to push my body beyond its limits, leading to significant weight loss because I end up barely eating while overexerting myself. Nutrition labels have become a source of anxiety rather than guidance. Even a quick glance some days sends me down a rabbit hole. I’ll obsess over every calorie, every gram of fat or sugar, until the meal isn’t about enjoying food or nourishing myself—it’s about numbers.
I’ve watched friends teeter on the brink of death because of this. Eating disorders aren’t just a personal struggle—they destroy lives. They ruin relationships, isolate you from others, and push you deeper into a mindset that’s nearly impossible to escape from. Recovery isn’t a straight path, and even if you’re managing it, the disorder never truly goes away. It’s like living with a constant, nagging voice in your head, telling you that you’re not good enough, that you need to be thinner, smaller, more in control.
But at some point, you have to recognize the lie for what it is. Being a certain size doesn’t make you more worthy. Starving yourself into weakness doesn’t give you strength. And most importantly, no matter what ED culture tells you, you matter now. Stop letting these influencers and trends tell you who to be

my bf is a third year nfl player (wont give out too much details since ik hella wags that read this) and he got another girl pregnant in september but she aborted. i went to therapy and we worked through it since we’ve been together since junior year of hs and i was there for him through it all and our bond is deep. it still hurts me to this day i cry about and think of the what ifs like what if she didnt abort and actually had the lomls kid… he tells me to get over it but idk how.
now i find out hes cheating w ig models, some of them are even cuffed. im sick to my stomach. i dont want him to leave me for them so i havent said anything. they have 100k followers, bbls. he flew one out when he was playing in miami a few weeks ago. idk what to do. hes my main source of income and hes very generous, my audi is paid off and in my name but im not on his deed to his house and we’re not legally married nor have kids. hes been talking about proposing this year so thats nice but idk if i should?? i would love advice you seem wise owner!
oh girl idk what you should do 😭 hmm it depends on the life you want and if you can stomach what it will bring. the cheating won’t stop so if you can learn to live with it for the sake of your lifestyle, i understand if you stay. BUT, you need a lot more than a car. keep stacking until you are ready to leave (if you decide putting up with it isn’t working) and use that money to better yourself. school, a business, anything like that. if you think you can stay, you’re gonna need to demand that ring sooner than later. if you can’t stack otherwise, the ring is your ticket. you know yourself best so ultimately think about the life you want and how much you can take to get it. good luck!

Hey Ana, you mentioned you had microdoses of Botox once, do you have to keep getting them regularly? And did it help you with fine lines? I've got some new forehead wrinkles, not sure I should try Botox.
hi!! i had 32 units in my 11’s as preventative. i did it 2x [once a year]. I found that it helped me from forming lines but i stopped bc i didn’t see a huge benefit. THAT being said, i use tret 0.1%, sunscreen religiously, + skincare things like facial massage that i do to myself, hyaluronic acids, etc so it isn’t as critical for me. I did it bc i know i have a genetic predisposition to 11’s. But i’m happy with my face.
talk to your clinics but if you want help with fine-lines, laser therapy is pretty clutch. I have an IPL laser treatment soon just to stay on top of it, but it’ll be my first IPL. There’s also a laser BBL/chemical peels that will help with fine lines!

Hi, my favorite thigh humpers it's me 🪱 again. omg, two asks back to back? and not literally three months apart? guys therapy is working. actually, I haven't had a therapy appointment in three months! not because I don't need it but because I keep forgetting 🥰 also Flora I know you're busy and need time to go through your inbox and reply so don't worry about getting back to me!
anyways do you guys like fictional war criminals' cocks? I bet you do! (if not why tf are you on this blog 😭 ) Well boy do I have the thing for you! unhinged HC about Fyodor featuring me describing his dick at random throughout the post.
-Fyodor is a regular customer buying body butter on Etsy, his favorite scent is sweet alpha musk.
-Fyodor only uses the towels he bought at a garage sale that has like the cupid babies embroidered on them and has "Love" sewn into them.
-Fyodor calls the stem of a grape the butt plug of nature.
-Fyodor won't admit it but all he wants to do is take a warm bath, while ABBA plays in the background.
-Fyodor once kidnapped a 4-year-old during the 2011 Olympics at 8:07pm in Shanghai China. He took to a restaurant because kids under the age of 10 get to eat for free and he lost his wallet while bike riding. The kid had tons of fun and Fyodor even got her a stuffed bear from the arcade. He is now on a watchlist. Fyodor's dick is a 6.9889 inches
-Fyodor has like ten pairs of shoes and each one of them is embroidered with FBGM, or Fuck Bitches Get Money. Nikola said it was an abbreviation of a famous passage in the bible. Fyodor is an idiot lmao anyways fuck bitches get money RAHH
-Fyodor likes to eat his bread rolls as if he's a starving victorian child. Sigma doesn't know if he doesn't because it's funny or if it's a trauma response. Fyodor's dick leans about 20 degrees to the right. \
-Fyodor likes talking and strolls through parks quite often :)
-Fyodor was a head campaign manager for Obama's re-election year! he also embezzled 100,000 USD from the US government.
-Fyodor dresses up all his pets in clothes every day. and on holidays he comes up with matching outfits
-Fyodor half the time doesn't know what he's doing when he's hacking, he kinda just presses random buttons and hopes he doesn't accidentally doesn't shut down some country's water system. He's smart enough to easily learn and pick up on patterns of code but is just too lazy some days. His dick is rather skinny but he knows how to use it
-Fyodor is a fan of Kafka's work so one day he decided to read letters to Milena, Fyodor no longer believes in love because know has ever told him that "in a way, you are like poetry material; you are full of cloudy subtitles I am willing to spend a lifetime figuring out." lmao he literally was so dramatic afterward. Nikola complimented his outfit and he said: "if you don't tell me I am like poetry that you're willing to spend your life figuring out then don't fucking say anything."
-Fyodor may or may not have had a bbl. his tip is a light flush pink and the base is slightly tanner than the rest of his body not by much but it's noticeable enough.
-Fyodor thought S&M by Rihanna was about getting arrested. LMAO
-Fyodor one time had to go pee so bad he used a Gatorade bottle to pee in and left it on the side of the road that said: 'for those with a piss kink'
-Fyodor has fought an 11-year-old at Mc Donalds because, in their BTS meal, they got a Namjoon photocard. (they only did the photocard thing in Korea I think)
-Fyodor ran up two flights of stairs passed out and ended up taking care of some old lady's apartment while she traveled through Europe
-Fyodor can't pronounce the word pronounced. I want his cock shoved down my throat.
-Fyodor collects stickers but doesn't know what to stick them on too so now he has two drawers of stickers. his balls are about average darker than the rest, and he's well-trimmed.
-Fyodor has thought about marrying his hat, and having sex with it! he was on acid at this time.
welp, that's all for today, sorry if this was short, and also sorry if this is like spamming? again no need to answer me right away mwah
Sincerely your one and only fuckable hat
-🪱
literally no words there is nothing i could say to make this any better im just gonna sit here and cackle thank u so much
the random descriptions of his cock thrown in genuinely kill me

Hustle is out. Self-care is in. Cleanse. Get your Glow Up. Detox. Debloat. Hydrate. Glow. Easily.
Excerpt from The Chic Diet by Kit Olsen:
Funny how self-care is now marketable and considered productive. Therapy speak is running rampant. The most annoying mothers have shirts that say “mental health is wealth” and use apps to decide on names for their children. I’m convinced there is never meaning behind the name Asher and that it’s so common nowadays because they never made it past the first page on an alphabetical list that was the top google result for ‘unique baby names.’
The only reason I know about Diastasis Recti is because I used to watch a plastic surgeon on Snapchat give “mommy makeovers” to women, along with BBL’s, breast implants, and procedures to make your pussy tight again after childbirth.
My coworker is a nanny for a wealthy family outside of our job together. He said he sees how rich moms don’t eat all day. Stress baking became a term during Covid lockdowns. Women with disordered eating bake when they’re stressed because they enjoy obsessing over calories and pushing said calories onto others without having any themselves.
I met the guy who owns trad bone broth. He is an incredibly good-looking gay man from LA who cites his Korean heritage as the inspiration for this business. The reviews are all paranoid rich people whose quack doctors say they need to drink this for their gut health. I’m not sure if he knows the implications behind the word trad or why it’s so ironic in this neighborhood of sf which is known for the wealthy normie hetero families.

How the Beauty and Wellness Industry benefits from your Insecurities
When you mindlessly scroll through Social Media you fall into this endless cycle of watching influencers following a "perfect" routine, whether its green juices, skin care, makeup styles, or the way you dress, social media constantly makes you want to change yourself, fitting into a beauty standard, following a diet to look a certain way and so many more so-called “solutions” to ‘problems” made up by the beauty and wellness industry. What we don't know is that these wellness trends that were created to make you feel better about yourself, end up making you feel worse. In this blog, we will explore some prevalent toxic wellness trends and the impact they have on individuals, particularly women. From promoting unrealistic beauty standards to fostering doubt, self-blame and shame. Toxic wellness trends harm the lives of women ranging from teenagers to adults.
WHAT ON EARTH IS BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL?
Buccal fat removal is a procedure where the buccal fat under your cheeks is surgically removed to give this sculpted appearance and accentuate your facial features.
Many celebrities have had this, mine and yours favourite, Miss. Bella Hadid and others like Zoe Kravitz, Anya Taylor- Joy and Lea Michele. The only downside of this procedure is that it is irreversible. So, once your cheeks are gone, they're gone. So you can say that having a round face really…is a huge NO.
Ageing is a Crime
Every time you scroll through TikTok or the reels section of Instagram or even Youtube several influencers promote anti-wrinkle tape, botox, red light therapy masks and other similar solutions to “ageing”. When originally anti-ageing was meant for the older demographic now it aims towards teenagers. Because of these, It brings us to think that is ageing that bad.
Essentially if your skin doesn't look a certain way if it isn't ‘glass clear” or “wrinkle-free” something is wrong with it. This ideology results in women feeling inferior and insecure in their bodies.
Thinspo
Diet culture has been around for way too long and there have been many diets which come and go but they all have the same motive more or less and that is to lose weight and be skinny. In the 20th century, there was this thing called “munching parties” where people would gather around and chew food till it became liquid only to spit it out.Yeah, that is how scared they were of becoming “fat”.
Since celebrities are looked up to by the general public, The Kardashians also had their BBLs removed which meant that “Thin was back in” that ideology also brings us to “heroin chic” a term invented in the 90s by the fashion industry given to models who had an extremely thin figure, dark circles and pale skin. Models like Gia Carangi were first associated with this trend and then later models like Kate Moss and Jaime king made anorexia aspirational.
Diet cultures not only promote bad food habits but also eating disorders, and to fit into a particular beauty standard women follow certain diets which obviously can be detrimental to a person's mental and physical health.
Spiritual By-passing and Cultural Appropriation
The practice of using spiritual beliefs or practices as a way to avoid dealing with difficult and actual emotions or problems, or appropriating spiritual practices from cultures that are not one's own, can be harmful if individuals are not addressing the root causes of their issues and instead using spirituality as a form of avoidance or cultural theft. Because of social media, we have been introduced to a lot of wrong information regarding spirituality, amongst this the most popular is wearing the Nazar or Evil Eye Locket to ward off evil intentions or jealousy. This random information from the internet makes women delusional and sways them away from what is happening around them, thereby impacting their mental health.
Overall. It is important to approach wellness trends critically and seek out evidence-based practices that are sustainable and promote holistic and positive well-being. These wellness trends are created out of pre-existing issues and insecurities that women have faced for years on end. Remember that every individual's health and wellness journey is unique and personal. The beauty and wellness community profits off of *your* insecurity so it is important to accept yourself for who you are, rather than trying to conform to societal expectations or trends, we should inculcate changes in a way that benefits us positively and practice self-care and self-compassion instead of blindly following whatever is over the internet or what Miss. Bella Hadid said in her interview :p
