Performative feminism is a most annoying aspect of our times.

Short men crying online abt not getting dates/gfs mean nothing 2 me bc ik 4 a fact that these men only go after women who are clearly out of their league bc 2 them they're on the same level (men are delusional and egotistic). They hate women for having a choice and then reject women they deem unattractive lol almost as if it's the same, but its not okay when women do it.

Personal rant where I’m acting on my internalized misogyny and being a bad radfem pls don't hate me ik i’m wrong 💀

I started getting laser hair removal on my bikini area and lower legs and underarms 😭 I’ve had four sessions and it’s working, I prefer it over wax tbh. I never shaved I used to wax which’s more harmful oh well I thad my first-ever wax when I was 13yo while still in seventh grade when my mom told me not 2 shave and wax instead, bc I might cut myself while shaving so I started waxing at the salon regularly, once every two months, but when I turned 16 I started going every months, even tho I was never sexually active (I had a bf but we never slept together) and when i’d go swimming I always wore swimsuits that are shorts, but still I would wax everything, even after discovering radical feminism I still would wax and remove my body hair (I don't wear makeup or anything so i’m trying) but it’s this one thing that I can’t embrace, yk i’m so weak willed i tried to let it go once for four months back in 2023, but i couldn’t go on i immediately booked a waxing appointment 💔. Anyway no more waxing which’s good. for the past six months i’ve started laser and its sm better, i haven’t had any hair growth like barely so I’m excited for that. I feel like such a hypocrite criticizing it online, but i admit that it’s me catering to the male gaze and it’s not entirely my personal choice, i think that makes it better because i’m self aware, but idk.

I remember my 75yo grandmother being srsly confused about why my sister and I were getting a Brazilian wax and she couldn't understand the concept of putting hot wax on our vaginas and was weirded out. I remember thinking she was old-fashioned and didn't get it, but now I’ve come 2 think abt it, how a woman born in the 1940s thought of modern beauty practices as too harsh and painful, we’re literally going from bad to worse and making zero progress. Idk but remembering this makes me feel so bad, like why are we putting hot wax on such a delicate area, why is it so normalized. Its inhumane.

society and makeup companies to women at all times: you have to wear makeup, like you literally have to or else you look like a corpse, so wear it you fucking corpse. aren't you terrified of getting old? aren't you insecure about your little blemishes? we have the $80 solution.
someone online: you don't have to wear makeup
someone else in response, without fail, every single time: yeah but it's okay if you want to wear makeup :). I mean, it's a personal choice, which involves no coercion from the constant social pressures that dictate how women should present themselves, so go ahead! Don't let mean people bully you into thinking it's okay to have flaws in your skin.

The only issue that i genuinely can’t bring myself to take srsly and I think of it as so silly and unserious are the incels even if they were women upset abt not getting a bf like it’s a nonissue imo. I understand being upset yk in private but posting abt it nonstop and with men shooting up schools and creating online spaces 2 talk abt it. Lmao it’s so childish idk but grown-ups should be more stable than this idc I've never thought it was that big of a deal.

I haven’t yet seen a woman celebrity who’s unconventionally attractive or ugly be liked and lusted after by men, the way women do with unattractive male celebrities such as Adam Driver, Pete Davidson, and Ed Sheeran, and the list goes on. Literally, I’ve never seen such a case because men don't care about a woman’s charm or appeal or anything like that only her looks, unlike women who are a million times more forgiving when it comes to men’s appearance even when it comes to celebrities who have 2 be more attractive than the average male, but that doesn't matter, women still support them. For a woman to be unattractive is the biggest sin, it’s like she committed a crime, but for a man it adds character and allure.

I do sincerely think it's very interesting that Chappell Roan is made fun of as a closet conservative (evidently because she's midwestern and has said she still talks to conservative relatives) and future heterosexual housewife when 1) queer culture as such is a perfect explanation for why she's Like That (as I have argued multiple times before) and 2) Sabrina carpenter is right there. I am not trying to harp, as I know I've discussed this before, but Sabrina Carpenter simulates sex acts from porn on stage when she performs. She pretends to get "spitroasted" and asks the audience if they've ever tried it. She sings "Juno," referring to wanting a man to impregnate her and "make her Juno" in reference to a very famous movie about teen pregnancy, while flashing her panties and simulating riding a penis. Meanwhile, we just had a big furor from Chappell commenting that she doesn't want children because her friends who have them are in "hell", and I saw multiple people posting about how this is just proof of what an evil pathetic attention mongering bitch she is for betraying her friends like that. And yet antinatalist and "child free" styles of thinking are extremely popular on this site, especially among women Chappell's age! So--who comes in for criticism? Not the pop artist who is literally marketing herself as a wink-wink lisping baby porn star lite whose "openings are super tight" (from the song "Busy Woman") and who sings songs about wanting her male partners to "make her Juno." But Chappell Roan because ummmmmmmmmmmm. She has an annoying personality and didn't thank the Indigo Girls (a folk group) for influencing her spectacle pop music. Ummmmmmmmmmmmm.

I don't think the human race is in any danger of dying out anytime soon but also even if it was if it can be destroyed by women's choices it should be destroyed by women's choices.
