I’ve had a week of immersing myself in their latest album. It’s called The Car and is beautifully crafted - laden with strings and gorgeous orchestration. Alex has never crooned better and he continues to be one of the greatest wordsmiths of this generation. Look out for Hello You, Big Ideas and Mr Schwartz. It’s been a privilege to have enjoyed them growing up and expanding their musical horizons. Today’s school run soundtrack was I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am, Bodypaint, A Certain Romance and Mardy Bum.
