Hi ! I think I've got lost in the story of Azusa/Shin ship-life beginning... so... How did it all happen? Why are they a match? 😭 sorry if I sound like a paragraph from "ship wiki of the fandom", but I have no other choice but to ask this directly. Also, sorry to bother if smth 🙏

I don't know if the ship was talked about before this, but we started talking about azushin on this blog in 2016. It was kind of a crack ship because they didn't have any moments in canon that suggested romantic feelings, but they did have some funny interactions in more lighthearted content (like tokuten cds or lunatic parade) that made them enjoyable to see together.

Shin is very prideful and thinks of himself as decidedly above other demon races, and he's frequently aggressive and violent.....and then along comes Azusa, who LOVES it when people are violent. So now, when Shin makes these bold threats, Azusa's like, "that's good, hurt me! I want you to hurt me...!!" and Shin doesn't know what to do, so he gets intimidated and runs away! :'D So it's great for people who want to see another side of Shin. He's usually so cocky but this sweet little guy makes him so scared!! I love it lol

so I think we just figured, "they'd work well together!" yknow? the violent guy and the masochist. the dog and the guy who likes petting dogs. they make me laugh, so I like shipping them. and recently when I was playing CL, I read that scene where azusa was watching over shin while he was imprisoned, and azusa let him out, and I was so happy (/^_^)/

AZUSHIN ICE CREAM DATE!!

It was an idea from Shin, while he has walking down the streets he saw a new ice cream shop with an special flavor! Spicy! The first thing that came to his mind was Azusa so he went (leaving his pride aside) to the Mukami manor to ask Azusa out. He knew if he knocked the door Ruki will slam the it on his face, so he went to Azusa’s window and throw some rocks on it, seconds later Azusa opened the window. Shin explained about the ice cream he didn’t even finish saying spicy when Azusa jumped from the window (Shin caught him) and told him to go there.

When they got there and their ice creams Shin (teasing) licked from Azusa’s ice cream little did he know it was a mistake. At the end Shin had to order other 2 ice creams for himself, it was so spicy that he couldn’t feel his tongue at all.
