OC-tober day 3: a friend’s (my wife’s) OC

here’s azathiel, my wife’s first DND character. she was just a village girl until her demon blood awoke and she eventually became abyssal royalty while her best friend ascended into dragonhood ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the first one was like my inspiration sketches the second one was gonna be for level up but then  didn’t like it lol

from the top right its aza on a throne, then plne majick, then a lil noodle dragon ralas under that, then aza geting dead

bottom row is aza looking at a map of the planes, big ralas and aza and ralas being a fighty boi.

all together it was just me wantin to insert more plane shinanagians into the month and more suns out guns out ralas that didnt quite fit in the prompts

Day 31? Bonus!

Day 14 Snack time

Day 29: Lizard Friend

oh no :( Ralas was like I am a sad boy and i was like why Ralas why you make this so sad, Good thing we got a boss battle coming up so we can wreeck whatever killed the poor things.

Day 19 : generic Villager

I actually forgot to post this before so opps? it’s all good tho, well not for the halfling. (or child) (prob not child) (although Ralas did ko a child before)

There’s some story going on with this one, about a halfling who was being rather rude to Aza, tho if you saw a demon you might be a bit confrontational too, so Ralas was lik you got issues take it up with me and well he tried punching him and broke his hand on impact, but uh Ralas reflexes made him strike and well lighting punch to face is not good. also pretty sure Mox and Ah’vi had a bet on who would cause issues in town first. Aliatris I think might be done with the gangs tomfoolery, All in all good scene!

Day 18 A magical plant Sorcerer

Arcane magic buddies? Aza getting all excited for some strawberries, while shenanigans are happening in the back. Ah’vi is just chillin while Mox is about to become a tasty snack, Ralas to the rescue. Wish I had time to actually colour it u.u

Day six: Weapon salesperson

Weapons are pretty meaningless when your magic and your whole body is a weapon. Jay the blue jay aarakocra set up shop to get people going into the forest, and Ralas is off making it rain, happy storm dragon boy. Jay doesnt appreciate it for his business, no ones going into the forest when it’s storming

also tried out the cody thing of sketching and shading all in one colour.

THat feel when your going to an inter-planer bar and have to not look like a reputable demon but still are very extra.  trying to work on aza’s magic, to look well more magicy? idk lol

Adventure April Day 8 Shop keeper

I’m late! :( I wanted to actully color this and do actual line art but i started late and it’s close to sleep time so it is as it is. Very often all the shop keepers in the campign were jolly gnome men? it was a conspirecy all shop keepers are realted, or maybe theyre all the same person? hmmmmm??? He has a slime cat familiar cuz why not?

Day Five Forest Doggo

More like puppers but yeh :)

Ralas loves smol animals so much so that he failed to notice the angry mom :3 luckily Aza there to desperately push him out of the way.

Day Three: Both characters together in the woods

Piggy back rides are the best when your leggo is all messed up. Aza took some of Ralas extra leg wrap stuff for a bandage. She fell out of a tree and got a scrap on some rocks on the way down.  Now there looking for a place to rest up before the keep going.

i wanted to do this thing but i wanted to actually choose and draw the OCs first cuz some of these are digging way back and its kinda nostalgic. and just for fun here’s a brief backstory for each one.

MONTY: my first OC i made when i was 11, before i was even really interested in being an artist. he’s an ex-mob hitman who was betrayed by his... cyborg vampire mob boss. (i was 11.) shot in the head and left for dead, Monty survived and is hell-bent on killing every single person in the mob as revenge. MARKLAIN: a washed-up Jedi knight. his eyes were destroyed in a lightsaber duel with a Sith. once had a brief stint as a brainwashed Sith assassin before he got better. NAUGHT IMPORTANT: an albino young man who was abducted from the military by his friend who had gone insane from alien technology and then experimented on and transformed into a killer with robot arms and legs. he got better and now mainly just be’s cute for me to draw. RICHARD: also known as Ritchie. my edgiest OC. a serial killer whose town is invaded by zombies, and he sets out on an adventure to destroy their source because bandits stole his beer and cigarettes and it pissed him off. not the best written character. CLAIRE: a police detective who often finds herself at odds and reluctantly working with the next two bozos. tends to find rational explanations for the ghosts, giant sewer gators, bigfoots and demons she fights with them. IAN: a boy whose life is irreversibly changed when he finds himself stuck with the next guy, working as his partner in paranormal investigation and neutralization, and also working to teach the man basic human decency. QUINT: a mysterious, quiet man with an utter hatred for all things supernatural. hunting them down with his young partner Ian, Ian teaches Quint that the hidden world of the supernatural cannot be painted in shades of mere black and white, and some people actually can be trusted. RALAS: a monk of the Monastery of the Ebbing Sands. travels with Azathiel Softwinds and Mox Videl in order to save their world, which turns out to be nothing but a fantastical construction of a bright, flawed man given too much power, and they learn how to cope with a world that is bigger than they thought.

day 30 BOSS BATTLE

literally took me all of my waking hours to finish this and theres still more I wish I could do do make this and epic finale but i think it makes do with what it is. everyone popping there ults and doing massive damage
