Favorite time of year: Summer - I hate the heat but like, I need the sunlight to keep myself together

Some interests and things you like: Reading, writing, languages and linguistics, astrophysics, mythology, history, animals uh... I find almost everything interesting and it definitely keeps me awake a lot.

Some funfacts & trivia about you: I fell asleep at a scout camp once in the toilets and didn't hear the tannoy that was sent out for me. My grandfather taught me how to stroke bees. I love water/the oceans/seas/rivers but never learned how to swim. Peas scare me. I'm pretty good at -- and rather competitive about trivia games and quizzes.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play?: The Sims! Dragon Age, Persona, Story of Seasons, Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, Wildermyth

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Fire or Fairy and I just think Dreepy is very endearing.

How did you get into Fire Emblem?: I saw a review of it on a news channel and decided to try it out. Then I became obsessed and haven't looked back since.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? I've watched playthroughs and read scripts for all but I played about half of fe5, fe7 (lyn and eliwood modes only though), fe8, 3/4 of fe9 before my emulator crashed, fe10 and everything post Awakening.

If you’ve played the following games, who was your first S support? Who would you S support nowadays? - Awakening: Chrom but now I'd probably opt for Libra or Henry? - Fates: Takumi before I knew what an S support was. Kaze as a neutral pick, Subaki for Hoshido and Niles for Nohr - Three Houses: Dimitri or Mercedes ? - Engage: Yunaka was my first!

Favorite Fire Emblem class: DARK FLIER. but also any pegasus class is so chefs kiss for me

If you were a Fire Emblem character, what would be your class? I'd want to be a pegasus knight or a mage but I could see myself being an armoured unit tbh

How did you find TOA? I just searched the fire emblem rp tags on a whim one day and found the group. Had a nosy around and was really impressed and excited to join :)

How do you pronounce TOA? 🤔 Usually like noah but with a t but sometimes i call it twaaah just to be silly.

Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day that you’d like to share? 😉 Tatiana, Safy, Rodrigue, Altena and Yunaka all have either blogs or partial apps. Of them Tatiana and Rodrigue whilst still outliers could potentially hit me with a steel chair at some point in the future.

" ethlyn! " she's smiling before wrapping her friend up in a tight hug and giving her a pat on the back. when she draws back, her smile is more mischievous. " i'll be on the sidelines this time, but i'll be watching eagerly. you won't hold it against me if i cheer for team od, will you? he's my crusader, and mercedes is my student, so... " ayra trails off, laughing. " i'm kidding. i've been wishing all my students good luck, and our children as well. get out there and kick some ass, ethlyn! "

"I'd be disappointed if you didn't!" Ethlyn grins as she returns her friend's hug. "I might be representing Crusader Nál in this event but my heart's routing for team Baldr!"

She's glad to see Ayra becoming so invested in her students here at the academy. It is a shame her own children are both members of a different house but she hopes they still might have the chance to learn from Ayra. Hell, she might even try to sit in on some of her classes as well.

"Oh you know I won't give this anything less than my best!" She's always been competitive. "Did you see Quan and Altena are competing as well? They've been matched against each other. I'm not sure who I'm supposed to be routing for. And it's my Leif who put this whole thing together! I've got a lot to be proud of right now."

Mercedes is the motherly oneesama of course, the one who's always helping the younger girls and is so pretty and dainty and such a good Proper Christian Girl (because all good retro yuris are extremely Christian), and Ayra is the intimidating boyish one who is very good at kendo/fencing and is scary but gorgeous and kind at heart and has like a million fangirls

Every time they're seen together girls squee and gush over how perfect they look together!! They've got to be a couple, right?! Erinys SWEARS that one time she saw Mercedes tend to Ayra's kendo wounds with her handkerchief UGH can you just imagine how tenderly close they must've been, oh I wish I saw it!!!

Goddddd I just. love the Ayra/Mercedes duo unit in FEH so much HAHA people had such high expectations of them like bonding over taking care of their younger family members and stuff and then they just went full-on MariMite-style old school yuri alpha couple and I am LOVING it

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sonya. You look radiant today," Mercedes compliments her partner, clutching the Shine tome to her chest as she speaks. Her voice lilts as she takes in the violet haired mage, a beauty who carries herself with pride. The way only an accomplished woman can. She giggles slightly as she continues. "I'm glad we're partners and not opponents. I think I might get a tad distracted otherwise."

Compliments aside, Mercedes turns her attention to their challengers. Two of the Knight of Seiros, one a long haired gentleman wielding a blade - a newcomer, Mercedes thinks to herself. It's the first time she's seen him at least. She does try and say hello to everyone she comes across. The other face is more familiar. Lady Ethlyn Claus Wait, isn't she Altena's mother?

"Hi Mrs Claus! Is Altena doing well?" Mercedes asks, checking in on her friend. There's a hint of regret as she raises her hand to cast her spell but Mercedes reminds herself this is a friendly competition. She isn't face to face with her friend's mother trying to rob each other of their lives. "Sorry, this isn't personal. I hope we can have tea together afterwards. All four of us, in fact."

"I won't let you down though, Sonya! You were excellent!"

Mercedes 7/7 HP attacks Ethlyn 7/8.5 HP with Shine. Roll d20: 12! Hit -1.5 damage. Ethlyn 5.5/8.5 HP counters with Assault. Roll d20: 10! Hit -1.5 damage. Reduced to 0.5 from Mercedes' +1 resistance. Mercedes has 6.5/7 HP remaining

Her aim is true but so is Ethlyn's. Luckily for Mercedes her resistance to magic was one of her greatest strengths. It does little to phase her, even taking the hit head on.

"I hope I didn't disappoint anyone." A glance is sent Sonya's way in particular but she also isn't here to make it easy for their opponents either. Mercedes may not be particularly competitive herself but she knows not putting up a fight would be insulting. She cannot promise a win, understands that despite her own skill and Sonya's magnificent mastery of magic that Lady Ethlyn and Rutger are talented and well trained too.

But she is representing Professor Ayra here in more ways than one. So whatever the outcome, nothing but her very best is acceptable.
