Explain the connection: Heather Payne’s ex-girlfriend from college.

Species: Up to roleplayer, but whitelighter halfling, fox spirit (kitsune), and shapeshifter are preferred. No humans or witches.

Age Range: 31 - 33 (She attended college the same year as Heather, currently 32)

Your idea of the character:

She is attracted to women, but can be any sexuality that encompasses that.

This is the post with my initial creation of Naomi, but details are up to you.

Naomi is into the arts, writing, and media, and majored in one of those in college. What she did after undergrad is completely up to you.

Heather and Naomi met freshman year in college at the University of Colorado, Boulder. They were best friends and became girlfriends. They lived together as upperclassmen.

In senior year, Naomi confessed to Heather that she was a supernatural / part of the supernatural world. Heather’s dislike of magic made her run away from Naomi, and Heather never told her she was a witch. They haven’t talked since graduation.

Potential Plans & Headcanons:

I’m up to write flashbacks to their college days. Heather was a strict, no-fun student while Naomi was more carefree. We can explore how Naomi helped her open up and loosen up. Also to explore is how Naomi was Heather’s first love, and she fell hard. How was their relationship from Naomi’s perspective?

Clearly a reunion would be a huge plot point. I think there is room for reconciliation. Heather holds a lot of guilt and regret over how she ended things. How has Naomi fared since Heather shunned her after she revealed the truth about herself?

Heather is in Edgewood on a mission to avenge her family. Maybe Naomi can use her own supernatural skills to help, or she could help Heather finally let go and move on.

If Naomi were a half-whitelighter, there is a lot of room for drama there. Naomi’s confession would be the first time that Heather hears that there is a group dedicated to the protection of good witches. In this case, Naomi may know Heather was a witch, and maybe she was even her charge. Years later when no one comes to save her family and coven, Heather will think about whitelighters and Naomi.
