Mannnn I once played this video game that was about a detective following and trying to solve this serial killer case, only to get murdered by said serial killer (I think.???) and then. He does obvs and becomes a ghost and the game is him trying to solve both his own murder, and who the serial killer is (cuz they were wearing a mask n shit). And he ends up meeting this girl who is a medium and can see ghosts, and she like helps him out. She’s very like, Lydia from Beetlejuice. It was fuckin AWESOME and my god I wish they did more with this game. The actual game itself was kinda mid I guess but the concept? Oh CHEF’S KIISSSS, 10/10. It was called Murdered Soul Suspect. I played it like 5 years ago and there were like only two people in the fandom, one of those ppl being ME LMFAO. I recommend

Books Read in 2024:
When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill
I was four years old when I first saw a dragon. I was four years old when I first learned to be silent about dragons. Perhaps this is how we learn silence - an absence of words, and absence of context, a hole in the universe where the truth should be.

My other response to World Building and plotholes is:
Cricket.
As in the game.
Sometimes, stuff just happens.
And it’s been happening so long, people have either stopped questioning it, or are attacked for questioning.
Why are the nuns in the sewers tending to their alligators??
Because where else would the sewer nuns and the sewer alligators be? The railroad? 🙄
Another tip!
Ask why rules are happening in your irl world, and see if you actually know the answer!
😊
Hey btw, if you're doing worldbuilding on something, and you're scared of writing ~unrealistic~ things into it out of fear that it'll sound lazy and ripped-out-of-your-ass, but you also don't want to do all the back-breaking research on coming up with depressingly boring, but practical and ~realistic~ solutions, have a rule:
Just give the thing two layers of explanation. One to explain the specific problem, and another one explaining the explanation. Have an example:
Plot hole 1: If the vampires can't stand daylight, why couldn't they just move around underground?
Solution 1: They can't go underground, the sewer system of the city is full of giant alligators who would eat them.
Well, that's a very quick and simple explanation, which sure opens up additional questions.
Plot hole 2: How and why the fuck are there alligators in the sewers? How do they survive, what do they eat down there when there's no vampires?
Solution 2: The nuns of the Underground Monastery feed and take care of them as a part of their sacred duties.
It takes exactly two layers to create an illusion that every question has an answer - that it's just turtles all the way down. And if you're lucky, you might even find that the second question's answer loops right back into the first one, filling up the plot hole entirely:
Plot hole 3: Who the fuck are the sewer nuns and what's their point and purpose?
Solution 3: The sewer nuns live underground in order to feed the alligators, in order to make sure that the vampires don't try to move around via the sewer system.
When you're just making things up, you don't need to have an answer for everything - just two layers is enough to create the illusion of infinite depth. Answer the question that looms behind the answer of the first question, and a normal reader won't bother to dig around for a 3rd question.

Killing Daisuke’s parents but also like feeling so bad for them.
Imagine your kid absolutely devastated to have to be sent away to some shitty internship but you think it’s for the best. You don’t hear back from the company for a while and just think it’s gonna take a while. It’s a long trip after all. Then those long weeks turn to long months and then you get news they haven’t had contact with the crew in a long time. You don’t know if you’re ever gonna see your kid again.
You don’t know if he’s coming back from a trip he didn’t want to even go on. That you made him go on. I’d never forgive myself.

Oooohh this is such an interesting concept! I love your design, it's subtle but fits Link so well! He has a more mature vibe to him, it makes a lot of sense being that he has experienced being an adult that he would probably outgrow the Kokiri outfit that he's always had all his childhood. The gauntlets are a great addition too, I love it! 💛

The first in a series of LoZ drawings I’ve wanted to do for a long time - what if Majora’s Mask hadn’t reused designs from OoT?
Here’s Link, with Tatl! He’s grown up a bit since his first time-travel adventure, and is about to be swept up in a new one.

I love this so much it’s so good! The details!!! The UI of Papyrus being Mettaton themed, the annoying dog keeping the I Tetrimino hostage safe, the overall artstyle! Dr. Robtonik having the same look than in the original Mean Bean Machine game! This is lovely :D

Animals! Brutal! They deserve no mercy. Strike them down! Follow them to their base and kill them, all of them!🔺I did not realize similarity was required for the exercise of compassion. They are afraid. We wish only to do what we can.
