"XL426 _ Vulcan Restoration Trust Visit", Vulcan Restoration Trust, Hangar 5, South Road, London Southend Airport, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS2 6YU, UK _ Photos by: Spyros Kaprinis [18.01.2025].
"XL426 served with the Royal Air Force from 1962 to 1986. Upon her retirement she was purchased by a private buyer who had her flown to Southend Airport, Essex. After many years of storage at the airport, in 1993 ownership was transferred to the Vulcan Restoration Trust and the Trust began an extensive restoration programme to bring her back to full ground running condition."

The Avro Vulcan B2.
Still one of the most iconic aircraft of all time (in my opinion). Retired from operational service in 1984 and the type last flew in 2015.
