Ive been thinking abt how purple is like. genuinely a genius especially if they believe itll get them praised (see, avm ep 34/the prank) so itd make SO much sense that they were the one that mostly came up with at least the backup plans. considering king probably only saw the cg like once maybe twice over a screen and purple had been regularly spending time directly with them
