Hi, my name is Julie of Crafty JuJu Designs, and I am taking part in the Joy of Indie online Autumn market. So with that I thought I would say hi and introduce myself, especially if you are new to finding me.

I work from a cosy studio at home at the bottom of my garden in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

I am an illustrator, and all round crafter. I've tried so many crafts over the years! Lol

I got back into illustrating last year after years of not doing it. I'm 43 and still chasing my dreams. You are never too old.

I love to create items that help give people a smile and feel better 😊

I am a crazy cat lady, I base my drawings of my cats on my cats we have and one the ones that are over the Rainbow bridge. With my illustrations I create fun stickers, stationery, pins & earrings.

I love all things Alice in Wonderland. This is one of the reasons I have created my first Kickstarter on the story, combining my cats. This has recently been successful & will be bringing the enamel pins I designed to my shop later this year.

I love listening to music, I like it all. If it's upbeat I'll add it to my playlist. Whenever I'm working I am always wearing my headphones and shutting off the world.

I have a range of chronic illnesses (I'm not going to list them all you haven't got all day! Lol)

I've had some since I was 2, so I have learnt to live with most. Don't get me wrong, I have my bad days, I am now trying not to beat myself up for it when I do....its taken for me to be in my 40s to think that!

I am a wheelchair user and have to rely on my family and friends when we go out.

I don't like to let things get to me and am always smiling, even through the tough pain days to try to smile. I always say,'Keep smiling, keep going. It could be worse'
