A bird flies around the skies above the Hidden City. Nobody on the ground can see its extra eyes and tentacles- granted, weird creatures in the Hidden City is hardly a rare sight.

On the outskirts, it spots a blue portal appearing and out step a large turtle mutant and a teenage human boy. The bird’s bulging eyes blink and it flies off.

Leonardo and Casey enter the somewhat ruined building that is Draxum’s lab and go down a dimly lit hallway.

“This place is a mess,” Casey comments at the crumbling walls.

“Yeah, it’s been destroyed a couple times,” Leonardo replies, “I hope Draxum could make it work.”

They enter the large room of the lab. Much of the machinery and equipment is still ruined, but the main console in the middle appears to be working. Draxum and Splinter stand before it, watching as vials are automatically filled with bubbling, green liquid.

“Leonardo,” Splinter greets as the turtle and his boy approach.

“Hey,” he smiles, “things seem to be going well here.”

“Was there any doubt,” Draxum replies.

“Kind of. I’m surprised this place is still standing,” Leonardo points out, “I mean first we destroyed it, then Shredder, then the tsunami-quake- oh, wait that hasn’t happened yet.”

“Whatever,” Draxum grunts and gestures to the three large trays containing vials of the herbicide. “Point is, I’ve succeeded.” “Great,” he smiles, “with this, we’ll stand a bigger chance than ever.”

“How many do you think we’ll need?” Casey asks.

“One can never have too much poison for destroying an alien race,” Splinters replies.

“Wise words,” Leonardo remarks. “Let’s get this batch moved to the lair.”

He starts to swing his sword when a terrible chill shoots up his spine. Without a word, he teleports to the doorway as a mass of tentacles flies down the hall.

“Sensei!” Casey exclaims as Leonardo blocks the attack with his sword and robot arm.
