Hi! Quick question, do you know if your pharmacy does bulk orders of antidotes? We're almost out of Tentacool antidotes after a bunch of them floated too close to the beach the other day.
@vitamin-sea-enjoyer
Oh, I am so late to this question. I hope you've replenished your stock!
To actually answer your question, the pokècenter I work at is right next to a Mantine Surf center, so we're always stocked up on antidotes! If this happens often, you should talk to your local pokècenter or pharmacy about it - they can arrange to regularly do bulk orders for you!
You might also want to keep an emergency autoinjector or two in case anyone has an allergic reaction. Tentacool stings are a pretty common allergen, unfortunately.

jesus the fact that my injections are every 3 weeks is the worst. it's exactly enough time for me to forget how easy it is (i use an autoinjector) and i makes me freak out and i cant get myself to do it. then i somehow do and "oh ye this is nth" but like clockwork i will forget this in 21 days and hover with the syringe for a minute for no reason

pharmaceutical companies: some ppl who are dependent on injectable medications are scared of needles. to make this ordeal easier for them we have designed this autoinjector device that hurts much more than a regular needle :)

Additionally, if you're afraid of needles/injecting someone, naloxone now comes in nasal spray form! So you can feel more confident about administering it.
Most importantly, even if they seem stable after receiving the naloxone, do not hesitate to call an ambulance. You have no guarantees that their condition won't worsen in the next few minutes or hours. Administer naloxone, call an ambulance, then if you are able, take the time while you're waiting for the ambulance to hide any remaining drugs or paraphernalia in case cops show up. Be honest with EMTs about what was taken and how much (to the best of your knowledge) but you don't owe the police anything.

Exciting News! FDA Approves First Needle-Free Epinephrine
For decades, people with food allergies and their caregivers have been hoping for needle-free epinephrine options to respond to their severe allergic reactions, called anaphylaxis. Last Friday, the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) answered those hopes by approving neffy® – the first non-injectable emergency treatment for people with life-threatening allergies. Neffy, made by ARS…
