Or even their sister who’s being skinned alive from her feet to her head. Even their big bro who’s being tossed around like a rag doll between two large Pokémon fighting over him

Giovanni is a BITCH for bringing Clair and Silver into this. Like they weren’t even given a chance to live just for the sole reason they’re important to Lance. And Gio wants to see Lance break even more after he had to witness his daughter and wife die

Also, which of the Elite Four members and Gym Leaders do you think would join Team RR? Either out of fear or just because they think they can benefit from it?

Your honour that's so fucked up I can only imagine Drasna really going through it but also still trying to comfort Augustine, but they're both really so out of it man, especially how Drasna knew of the threats Dia's mother said to her; Drayden's there on the hunt for Plasma, just letting his rage out on all the grunts he sees, the sages, until he gets to Ghetsis himself; Joseph couldn't handle it man, he already lost his wife now he lost his son, the sound of Steven's screams haunts him; god Lisia too, the only family she had left and now he's being drowned, and she cursed the irony of it, of Wallace being so drawn to the waters but it's also one of the reasons for his death; Cyn's sister and grandparents tho chdmdb like Cyn's sis knew Cyrus was her friend, and she couldn't believe Cyrus would do that to Cynthia; and then there's Hop, crying his poor little heart out, screaming for his brother, the once great champion of Galar reduced to nothing but a chew toy for those pokemon.

Ough that's fucked up, but also where the fuck is Geeta in all this— imagine tho in the au of an au where she's evil, imagine she's the one to tell Lysandre what would really break Diantha, bc Diantha confided in her y'know, told her everything, her best friend, her platonic soulmate, then suddenly Geeta looks at her with cold and calculating eyes, suddenly she wasn't the friend Diantha knew, and god that fucking broke her man, how Geeta used Dia's vulnerabilities, how she knew each and every one of em, and used that to her advantage chsnnd

But for the not evil Geeta thing imagine if she did hid herself tho, and everyone else called her a coward. But that was the last thing Diantha told her, Dia made her promise to hide, like what she said to Iris, to just hide, to not let Giovanni find her. But that backfired on Geeta tho, and now everyone, especially the family of the other Champions, called her cowardly, how she couldn't even try to help her fellow champions, how she couldn't even try to save them. But man that would haunt her too, having to watch Diantha die, having to watch her friends die, it fucked her up so so much and she hated herself so much that she didn't defy Diantha and went to her side to help her

As for the league members thatd join Team RR

For Kanto idk, since in the manga majority of em was associated w Rocket,, well let's go w that. Sabrina, Surge, and Blaine are my top three for that, tho I wanna say Blaine was blackmailed into joining bc he was one of the people who made Mewtwo. Green would be against them tho, I know the Kanto trio would team up w the rest of the Gym Leaders to stop them.

For the Johto leaders, I really can't see any of them joining Team RR, even if they're threatened I think some or most would rather go down w a fight than to join em. For the Indigo E4, low-key I think Koga and Will would join em.

For Hoenn's league, Norman. And for Sinnoh to Unova none of em they'd be against RR, Unova especially man they really fought tooth and nail to stop Plasma only for Plasma to be part of RR and is now more threatening than before. For Kalos, I honestly think Lysandre would threaten and blackmail Malva to joining again, idk if she'd cave in or not bc holy shit™. Alola to Paldea, none too, idk, bc Alola didn't want to be part of it ofc, their league is still fairly new, most of their members are children, if anything I wanna say they'd try to fight them off if they do get to their region. The Galarian people got Rose Tower demolished man they're so fucking pissed at Rose, no one's ever seen Raihan and Sonia that pissed before too like these two especially want to hunt down Rose. And for Paldea, well, not only are they mourning the other Champions but also mourning and kinda hating on their own Champion too, my guy, Geeta's really going through it, she doesn't wanna lose anyone else, so she keeps an eye on her league members within the shadows, to make sure none of them ever join RR

dr. fuji. the scientist funded by giovanni to clone an enhanced variant of mew, a beast said to harbour the genetic code of every pokémon within its dna. as giovanni funded this project, it was natural that, while he accommodated dr. fuji's requests for most of his staff to be of his own choosing, that he left some of team rocket's own scientists to keep close eye on the task at hand. it was thinly veiled knowledge that dr. fuji's real desires was not to clone mew, but rather, bring back his daughter from the dead—they had to ensure that he was actually doing what giovanni wanted, not simply absconding with the money in tow.

yves augustin was one of the rocket member's tasked with such surveillance.

during the explosion of new island, killing all of the scientists held within, much of the late dr. fuji's research on cloning and genetic mutation was lost to the wind ... two of the surveilling rocket members managed to survive. not by some miracle, after the mutated mewtwo sought to bring the fortress to its foundations, but by sheer luck of not being on new island at the time of its destruction.

yves was one of those individuals.

while giovanni cared little about the blood, sweat, and tears that went into the progress, rather the end project, he tasked yves with salvaging what information he could from the fortress' remains. yves abided; he plucked free snippets, some thin and some chunky, but there were gaps. gaps that, with some proper dedication, could be bridged. yves was again tasked with ensuring the research was patched up, in case the resulting project fell deceased, similarly to the initial cloned kanto starters: bulbasaur, squirtle, and charmander. they needed to be able to replicate it.

yves' initial dedication to the mission was haphazard at best. he'd recently become a single parent of one jean-baptiste augustin, so, while he was struggling to juggle the newfound commitments of being a single parent and giovanni's demands ... he became split by both. able to commit wholly to neither.

years passed. baptiste had become a congratulated, high-ranking member of team rocket. yves was proud. baptiste was a vicious man and even more vicious fighter. he was often tasked with jobs that others couldn't handle nor be trusted with. yves, while initially jittery at the notion of his son being handed such dangerous missions, had since calmed. he would not have a repeat situation with his wife, he thought; he can handle himself.

until one mission: baptiste didn't return on cue. he were to eventually return to headquarters, but in a bag. yves was beyond distraught. grief interrupted whatever research he were to head.

a few months after, yves plunged himself deep into dr. fuji's work. while he'd bridged most gaps, there were still some bits and bobs missing that he'd been to piece. he were to forfeit healthy sleep, healthy food, healthy water to bring his son (as well as his pokémon team) back from the dead.

history does like to repeat itself, doesn't it?

three years later—baptiste, while cloned, awoke. as did his pokémon partners. they were to come back unusual, his team, with blotches of discoloured skin or fur. but they were back. he was back. yves had succeeded where dr. fuji had failed.

yves was thrilled. exhausted, yes, but thrilled. so thrilled, in fact, that he dismissed whatever oddities that baptiste were to exude. it was only two weeks in that he began to slowly come to the realisation that baptiste wasn't how he was in his previous life. he'd come back, yes, he'd survived the initial throes of relife, yes ... but he came back wrong.

where the first baptiste was vicious, mean, this baptiste was softer. he were to treat his pokémon team members with love and affection, as he would other individuals. he were to humourous where the first baptiste was cutthroat and serious.

different. weird. wrong.

yves and baptiste grew more distant by the month. yves cast the man into the bowels of team rocket, hoping it would toughen him up. make him more like the original.

he just wanted his son back.

so now that i have my new phone, i can use my old one for my other pogo account. finally joining the multi device club. a lot of other players do it. my other account i havent played since 2016. i just hit level 15 on it today. on my main acc im level 38. the second name is nightwingrobin and earlier i brought my two phones for a mewtwo raid right up the street at sait augustines. its a nationaly registered historic landmark. there were 7 accounts in total. i was the highest at 38. the others at the raid were my friends mike and tien and a couple who were driving by. we almost beat it on our first go but ran out of time. our second time we came less close and ran out of time. mike couldnt get in on his alt acc so we ended up with 6. also didnt help that my highest cp on my alt is a 1943 ttar. the rest only 700 and all weak. theres always next time and the best part is that i need to register a butt load of poke on my alt so that should help me level up and with community day around the corner, i have a chance to stock up on some high cp/iv metagross on BOTH and metagross is my fav pseudo legendary.
