Verkeersirritaties - Links plakkers

Nu het weer (flink) drukker op de weg is merk je ook dat dat er toch een hoop slechte chauffeurs zijn, meestal alleen met zichzelf bezig, of met hun telefoon, maar niet met het verkeer. Zelf heb ik vroeger van mijn motorrijinstructeur geleerd dat je het beste iets harder kunt rijden dan het gemiddelde verkeer. Niet jezelf verstoppen tussen 2 vrachtwagens, niet achter dat busje blijven hangen en niet in de dode hoek van een voertuig blijven rijden. Dit zijn dingen die je gemakkelijk oplost door nét een paar kilometer harder te rijden dan het meeste overige verkeer, dat komt je eigen veiligheid gewoon ten goede. Zelf probeer ik dan ook altijd niet de snelste te zijn zodat de blauwe zwaailichtbrigade mij niet eruit pikt voor snelheid.

Maar dat lukt lang niet altijd....

Afgelopen dinsdag was het nat, donker en behoorlijk druk toen ik de A9 afzakte. Bij de eerste invoegstrook was het alweer raak, een auto vond het niet nodig om mij er tussen te laten, reed behoorlijk dicht op z'n voorganger en toen ik mijn motor er toch tussen drukte, (ik drong niet eens voor het was gewoon mijn beurt) vond deze Audi-rijder het nodig om luid te toeteren, ik gebaarde met mn hand dat hij gewoon maar rustig moest doen (zonder middelvinger!), wat hij beantwoorde met lichtsignalen. Maar waarom? Zouden ze echt denken dat ze daardoor later op het werk komen? Ik ben immers geen vrachtwagen die 80 blijft rijden ofzo. Zoveel mensen die de 10 meter asfalt voor hun auto als hun eigendom beschouwen en daar alleenrecht hebben, dan is er toch iets flink mis in je bovenkamer?! Ik weet zeker dat als iedereen wat vloeiender zou rijden en zich minder egoïstisch zou gedagen we de helft minder files zouden hebben.

Vervolgens kom ik op de A9 die 3-baans is in de spits. Om vlot te kunnen rijden is normaal gesproken de linker baan de beste optie. Maar vandaag was het weer zo'n dag... De meest rechterbaan was op een enkele vrachtwagen na zo goed als leeg, echt honderden meters zonder een enkele auto. Een busje met dikke aanhanger die niet veel harder reed (en mag) dan de vrachtwagens vond het een goed besluit om op de middelste baan te blijven rijden. Met als gevolg dat de ook middelste baan nog geen 90 reed. Er ontstond daardoor bijna een file met auto's op de meest linker baan. Nu zouden die auto's op de linker baan gas kunnen geven, de rijdende chicane inhalen en vervolgens naar rechts kunnen opschuiven. Niets van dat alles, en dat zie je dus steeds meer, de voorste auto blijft gewoon met 101km/u op de meest linker baan rijden. Geen aandacht voor wat er achter hem/haar gebeurt en al zeker niet, zoals het hoort, zoveel mogelijk rechts rijden. Uiteindelijk drukte ik maar weer op het min-knopje van mijn DCT motor om een versnelling terug te schakelen, stuur naar de meest rechter baan en heb alle rijdende faalhazen op rechts ingehaald, uitermate illegaal maar je wordt toch haast gedwongen?

Ik denk dat ik een grote sticker op mn topkoffer ga plakken met de tekst:
