Premieres Friday, March 1, Rated PG-13.
TV – American Idol
The hit reality singing competition returns in March, after famously getting rebooted last year. Its roster of past contestants have gone on to become household names (Kelly! Carrie! Jennifer!), so we can’t wait to see who will join the ranks next. Just like last year, the judging panel will consist of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Ryan Seacrest returns to host, too. One notable change is the addition of Bobby Bones as the show’s official in-house mentor. Last year, he only mentored the top 24, but in the coming season, he’ll be a mainstay throughout the whole run.
Sunday March 3; 8pm; ABC
DANCE – Los Vivancos –

Asian Culture Festival
The Consulate-General of Japan in Miami is offering South Floridians the opportunity to experience Japanese culture and traditions firsthand during this 29th edition of this festival that includes food, music, Taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko, dance, demonstrations of Iaido and Kendo, art and much more, and attracts 15,000 attendees each year.

THEATER – You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
Whether you’re keen to fly with the Red Baron, moon over the Moonlight Sonata, or just do your best to find happiness, check out the crowd-pleasing classic. Brief vignettes span the months from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day, and from wild optimism to utter despair. Through it all, the sweet, joyful innocence of the Peanuts gang stays true
Thurs, February 28 through Sunday, March 10; Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and Thurs, March 14 through Sun, March 17; Aventura Arts & Cultural Center; Tix: slowburntheatre.org.
