#text#ilana says stuff#to be fair she did also answer some of my other questions and point me toward resources but like.#i asked about how to write a resume when i have no job experience and she told me to use chatgpt????#like chatgpt would literally just make shit up that i'd then have to edit so it's more exaggeration than outright lies#so why not just teach me how to write one myself anyway? and then i'd have that skill for the future once i do have some experience!#i know there's general guides out there for them but one of the perks of talking to a real person is like. an actual discussion#'no that doesn't apply to me' and 'should i include this' and 'how should i phrase this'#and i should think knowing about resumes is a pretty important part of your job! why are you telling me to use ai instead?#like if i need to at least try to write a resume myself and then bring it in for advice on how to improve it then just. say that

#listen it's a hypothetical game I play with myself all the time ok? and I'm curious#I think it started when Dad brought home one of those Bibles that's printed on like a single piece of plastic or something#and you read it with a super strong magnifying glass#and I thought “oh this wouldn't weigh too much I could pack this in any sort of emergency”#and after a few more steps here we are#please tell me your books! reblog or send me an ask and gimme reasons if you want#my options vary because Digger is a go-to but the omnibus is SO heavy it would be like my only book#I SHOULD grab some sort of reference or guide for like...woodland herbs and edibles but I don't own anything like that#and the rule is it has to be within easy reach#off the top of my head we have#1) A Wrinkle in Time#2) The Postman (for the irony and it's actually a cool book)#3) The Silver Chair (for Puddleglum)#other possibilities include Watership Down‚ Pride and Prejudice‚ Murderbot (they're small)‚ whichever Ender book I see first‚#my LOTR omnibus (also heavy)‚ The Blue Sword‚ A Canticle for Leibowitz (also for the irony)‚ the first Discworld book I see‚ The Thief....#yes I'm cheating on my own question lol#really it would be a snap decision based on what I see first. and whatever my choices I would regret the books I didn't grab#(my book sorting system is sketchy at best and I couldn't tell you where a lot of these are shelved)#here lies Phoebe. by some miracle she survived the apocalypse but she chose to feed on words rather than food. thus she is dead.#but she is happy.#(I wrote a few thousand words of a post-apoc story once and yeah the family stayed at their home but their top priority after food was book#they raided the nearby library. these are my priorities)#mine

Voldemort crossed one leg over the other and contemplated the ceiling of Malfoy Manor’s basement dungeon, which was dark and damp. The gloom was oddly comforting. Here below, concealed from the society he had created, he felt able to divulge private information about himself.
A voice floated over to him, calm and airy, a beacon in the night drawing him towards the ultimate goal of rationality. “And how would you say you feel about that?”
“Lord Voldemort does not feel.” He punctuated his statement with a menacing sneer.
“Of course you do. Everyone has feelings.” Potter’s friend smiled at him. Her eyes were partially obscured by her thick, bottle-cap goggles, the lenses of which reflected distorted versions of him back at himself. “Didn’t you tell me that world domination no longer feels as fulfilling as it once did? And didn’t you ask me to help you understand your obsessive need to have control over Harry Potter?”
“Yes.” Voldemort scowled. “And I fail to see how Potter’s sexual fantasies about other men are relevant.”
Potter’s friend perched her chin atop her bound hands. “Have you considered… letting Harry have sex with someone else?”
“Potter should not be having sex. He is my enemy. He should be miserable.”
“Removing the sexual torture curse you placed on him would be a great first step towards personal growth.”
“He is not having sex,” Voldemort repeated. “He is miserable.”
“Yes.” The girl’s eyes lost their focus, taking on a strange, dreamy appearance that implied her thoughts were elsewhere. “I see that now.”

my fav storytelling moment in NITW is the little easter egg where grandpa borowski's ghost watches over mae while she naps at the church! cute moment w some interesting in-universe implications
night in the woods is pretty careful to never pick a side on whether the whole thing is ghost/demon/god related, or just a combination of mental health issues/economic stressors/searching for meaning, which i appreciate. gives players a lot of leeway to interpret everything. so factoring in the ghostly grandpa is just another little supernatural mystery to try and work into the puzzle... but most importantly its super cute!

the problem w the question “got any hobbies” is that i cant very well say im an artist occupying a very small and very niche corner of the internet with a newfound interest in danmei and lesbian among us now can i, accurate as it may be, that would not be appropriate
