Where can you read the newest ER manga stuff in English? The last I have seen was the festival. A lot of places are even more behind.

I keep up with it here on Kadokawa's own site, which releases them in both Japanese and English! Although, unfortunately, they only provide the first 2 chapters and the 2 most recent ones...

I make it a habit to mark my calendar for each update, as dorky as it sounds, but such is the nature of serialized media, lol. The latest chapter released last night, and the next will be October 4. (The deadline to read the penultimate chapter also indicates when the next will release.)

I uh, also suggest screenshotting each page in case you ever want to refer back to earlier chapters. Lol.

Can't wait to see the look of disgust and disappointment on Aseo's face when he actually sees the Roundtable and encounters the following:

Junk and crap all over the floors that definitely wasn't included in the photos on the website.

A dead body somehow burned to a crisp in the basement. No-one talks about it.

A maniacal blood wizard, also in the basement.

Half-mummified old people who are somehow still alive and willing to take your money for ... purposes.

A guy in armour who sounds like he's seconds away from murdering everyone, but seems content to sit around and brood.

A woman who sounds like she's in an ASMR video and really wants hug-fuck everything with a pulse.

A guy with no shoes who, by a miracle of grace, has not cut his feet to shreds and also speaks like he's in an ASMR video.

Another guy in armour who likes to talk about how worried he is about his servant but would rather Aseo go out to search for her, despite being infinitely better equipped.

The girl from the shack who can talk to spirits now.

A grumpy old Misbegotten who literally has nothing else to do except smith for dumbass Tarnished, because he's chained to the wall.

TWO ROTTEN, MOULDY, HAIRY FINGERS. AS IF THE PLACE DIDN'T ALREADY SMELL LIKE DEATH.

Elden Ring Gets an Official Manga - and It's a Comedy

An official Elden Ring manga has been released, featuring characters such as Melina, Radahn, and Malenia, but instead of following a deep and dark story akin to the game, the comic is actually a comedy. As reported by PC Gamer, the manga is available for free online in 12 languages and published by FromSoftware's parent company Kadokawa. It follows Asea, a wretched Tarnished (the naked starting character from Elden Ring) as he navigates the weird and wonderful world of The Lands Between. While just two chapters are available now, the manga will evolve over time with the release of new episodes on the fourth and 19th day of each month. It's written by Nikiichi Tobita, the artist behind another gag manga called A Cursed Sword's Daily Life, but follows the same lore and storylines set out by FromSoftware. "Aseo, a poor, Tarnished wretch, finds himself cast out into Limgrave, naked, penniless, hopeless, and maidenless," an official plot synopsis reads. "His only hope in his harsh, unforgiving new home is a mysterious woman named Melina "A cast of colorful characters awaits Aseo along the way: Patches the Untethered, Blaidd the Half-Wolf, Margit the Fell Omen, Godrick the Grafted, and of course, Ranni the Witch. With little but a loincloth between Aseo and certain death, he strikes out for the first stop on his quest: Stormveil Castle. Will he make it there, or will his journey end before it even begins?" Elden Ring has proved somewhat of a cultural phenomenon since it was release in February, with players finding a ton of different ways to interact with the game. I wish we had an option in the game where the Tarnished also imparted what “Rennala” has said to Ranni.

But again, the “Rennala” Tarnished fought against in the second phase is Ranni’s own projection of her mother when she was in her prime.

Maybe she told Ranni those lines when she was young. Who knows? 🤷

But manga!Rennala is whole ‘nother matter.
