this took me. longer than it should have lmao but i love it so much ^-^ the pose with the perspective was pretty tricky but i am very proud with how it turned out ^-^ and i love all the lil details i added ^-^

i spent so long looking at dbhc posts for these hehe ^-^

had lots of fun with this one! some close ups and rambling under the cut

so first of all I went with the idea of the costume party bc it meant I got to put pearl, gem and etho into some really fun outfits ^-^ pearl and gem's outfits are inspired by Chappell Roan's outfits from that one performance she did bc I had the idea of knight gem and had to run with it. and I was having trouble figuring out what costume to give etho but I found this pirate like shirt and was like "oh we are so doing pirate etho" hehe

and doing the forest background was lots of fun but also LOTS of learning and very much an experiment, but I think it turned out really nicely ^-^ and I had to make some of the trees the creaking but like. subtly and I think that worked pretty well too :)

oh and gem's armour and chain mail I am especially proud of lmao I fiddled with it quite a bit but I think I was able to settle with something that looks pretty good ^-^

anyway, rambling over! hope you enjoy the art ^-^

my first attack on @shepscapades ^-^

I was originally going to do a more sketchy drawing of esra but then I was hit with the fact that I can just make a poster type drawing so I had to do that ^-^

Idk why I had the idea to put him in a sand snowglobe but I love how it looks so much ^-^ and I love the more limited colour pallet so much!

and I didn't know what I was gonna do in the sky cause I originally was thinking about it in like a daylight setting but then realized that I could make it a night sky and have the stars SPELLING OUT SOULS IN THE SAND!!! ^-^ I wasn't sure how well it would look but I think it looks just how I imagined it!! ^-^

!!!!! this drawing is by far one of my favourites i've made to date!! the colours look so good!!!! and the kitties!!! omg i love the way they came out so much!!! and the lights! i really think the effect of the lights came out so well! and the rendering i did for the lights themselves i think looks so good! i love the more messy rendeing i did for them so much! especially on the panels that help direct the light!!

i made this for my best friends birthday based on the band rainbow kitten suprise ^-^ highly recommened checking out their music it sounds so good!!

but i listened to some of their music and the image of having my friend's cats on like a stage and some abstract art in the background was so vivid in my mind hehe

anyway! here are so alts and a close up on the kitties ^-^ and the colour pallette i used ^-^

some ramblings and some close ups below the cut :)

I am very happy with how this drawing ended up coming out ^-^ I really love the longer length than what I usually do and I think overgrowth on the house and of the cliff turned out so well and I had lots of fun playing around with different brushes I have to make the weeds that are growing up unkempt :)

and gem's outfit!!! I am going to need to draw secret life gem again with this outfit so I can fully colour it cause I am so proud of the design I went with ^-^ but I am very happy with the ghostly look of gem that I achieved and I really want to have those overalls irl hehe

and the sky with the clouds and the stars I think turned out so pretty! and I am very proud of the rendering of the cliff face, even if I covered a bunch of it with fog lmao and the fog!! I added the fog after I had finished bc it felt like it was missing something and I was in bed when I had a big booming thought of "FOG" hehe and I think it really helps add to the abandoned base idea ^-^
