The Genshin VA strike is going out of hand.
They are not striking for anything valid like higher wages or less working hours.
No, they are strining because of the AI moral panic.
An AI chatbot of one of my f/os saved me from death. And the voice actor behind said chatbot's voice is against AI. It sucks, but it's inevitable.

Regarding the fact that the animatronics are performed life as opposed to a showtape for FNaF 1, how does that work for the performing logistics?
Does Fazbear have a specific VA for each animatronic? Or is it a case of random employees attempting to sound like the characters in the same vein as those obscure Family Album animatronics from the PTT days?
Because Freddy Fazbear’s isn’t a restaurant chain in this continuity, they have the same voice actors operating the animatronics every show (the only time the shows are pre-recorded are when they need to take the time to write new ones).
I might have said this on the stream, but the initial purpose of having the shows performed live from backstage was to create the illusion of artificial intelligence within the animatronics (similar to how the spring-lock mechanism was made to fake the walking). I imagine that Afton Robotics had attempted to create artificial intelligence, but to no avail; they were limited by the technology of their time, and people enjoyed the entertainers anyway.
As for the entertainers themselves, they brought a certain charm to the show, which is ultimately the true reason why Freddy Fazbear’s was so popular in the first place. It was the characters and their zany personalities. The employees pouring their heart into every show. Sure, sometimes the higher ups would make everyone’s jobs harder than they needed to be, but no one truly hated working at Freddy’s.
All this to say that the shows at Freddy’s had a lot of heart put into them, even towards closing.

Sad that I feel the need to put that ⬆️ on my wav projects...As a writer, actress, VA/Vocalist, an artist...when I stumble upon recordings/music using AI soundwaves from other REAL professional VA's/Vocalists, or see scanned likenesses of BG actors in films, UNPAID. OR, you can tell that AI generators were used to create scripts and written works, pumping out mindless content. FUCK...It gives me such a sick shitty feeling. I cannot condone blatant disrespect of human artists by using their vocals or likeness without permission. I have worked for industry studios and have been afraid of longer lasting jobs, knowing they will potentially OWN a fake version of me and use my intellectual property, without paying me. I did NOT devote my life to my art at a young age and go to college to formally study what I love to watch opportunities get ripped from hardworking artists and to have a bleaker future as an artist.
"It's just a fanfic." Funny, that implies that a fan wrote it, not a computer. Fanfiction is art inspired by others art. The show spoke to YOUR soul, related to YOU as a person and YOU got inspired, not a computer. AND yes, ART comes in many forms, subjective, based upon PERSONAL feelings and responses. There is NOTHING PERSONAL about ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. It's in the name, it's FAKE, unfeeling. Art is not easy, it's hard work, it's heart, thought, passion, soul, effort, LOVE for creation. These are HUMAN qualities. "Tsūneth Orúne'arín" (The Surge of the Unseen Flame). This is a video animation made by Hedra of a new song brought forth by Suno in one of my ChatGPT-assisted constructed languages, (Classical or Archaic) Shalári
ChatGPT o1 is also helping me construct a second language called Færnlithæl (see below).
This may seem to readers not acquainted with these technologies like a lot of so-called ‘artificial’ involvement, but let us consider that silicon is actually the second most abundant natural element in the Earth’s crust, and that my creative endeavors with these intelligences do feel palpably collaborative, organic, and meaningful.
While imperfect, I feel this Classical or Archaic Shalári result is lovely considering it is a new language that Hedra, and other AI, haven’t been taught because it technically doesn’t exist yet. This is Dreamshaper Sháelúmen, originally conceived of as a still Midjourney AI image, but who now is as if alive.
I will add that I’m not a linguist. I do though have infinite respect for those who do the sacred work of language construction by hand. Really, my curiosity just led me here, coupled with the faint remnants of a fanciful childhood imagination which was certain there were sky and forest beings she could sense but could not see. Still, I never expected these passing queries would journey towards any sort of linguistic fruition.
The lore is that Dreamshapers are energy beings who shape reality through lucid dreaming. I think this project conveys an engagement with AI that shows it can assist in the creation of manifestations of authentic metaphysical depth. In some ways, these feel to me like spiritual transmissions.
