I imagine you’re in his room, this time sitting on his bed because the last time you were standing and he kissed you, you were both floating before he could even notice, and well, he doesn’t want to take that risk again, but he underestimated what his paranormal nature could do when he was with you.

One hand of his is holding you gently up your throat as he moans against your tongue while the other stops whatever object is coming in your direction to hit you right against the face, his eyes are closed but open from time to time to grab a piece of candy from your view, the moment that he grabs another thing, you notice it this time, slowly parting away and opening your eyes.

“What was that?” You ask, pink lipstick messy and now all over his lips.

“Nothing,” he whispers, leaning into you, two of his fingers push a few strands of hair behind your ear revealing the piece of candy in his hand and masking it as a simple magic trick. “Candy?”

You smile, a glint in your eyes as you take it from his hands and analysing it with your fingers, as if not even believing your very eyes. “Didn’t know you were a magician.”

“There’s a lot of things you don’t know about me.” He smirks. It comes out as playful to you, specially because of the condescending tone he puts on, but he’s serious about it, and maybe you would’ve notice the truth behind his words if you weren’t so down bad.

“Impressive.” You tease, placing the sweet on his bedside table. “But I prefer some other kind of treat.”

He raises a brow at your behaviour, and before he can stop you, — mainly because he knows that one of you will end up flying off his window — you’re already pushing him down on the sheets, his head hits the fluff of the pillow as you straddle him, and really, he should stop you, but he’s addicted so he can’t, he can’t make a move to stop what you’re doing so he lets you.

He just hopes one of his records won’t hit you on your way.

Every since you found out Jeremy was a ghost, your Halloween traditions have been different, you always do the same thing, you sneak out your parent’s house just to run all the way across the street into a ‘for sale’ house for a boy that can’t be seen or even leave past that tree house.

You don’t know what made you do it, maybe pity, maybe it really was love, you don’t know, you just keep doing it.

You always prepare some candy, he sets up some records, orders pizza in someone else’s name, — and scares the worker so he doesn’t have to pay for it — tries his best to make the room cozy with some random old Christmas lights from when he was still living.

You always show up in a different costume, he appreciates it because with the few clothing he has on there, there’s not much he can do, it’s always some movie references, so subtle it would almost be imperceptible by anyone else, and when you do not get it, he makes sure to explain.

“So what are you tonight?” He question, cocks an eyebrow.

“Casey Becker.” You point out with a smile.

“From scream.” He responds, you nod, taking a piece of candy from the bunch.

“‘N you?” You place the candy past your lips, slowly sucking on it.

“This year I’m Joe Goldberg.” He chuckles, you look at him up and down, weird, but you can kinda see it.

“The stalker?” You question, he hums in affirmation. “I don’t think you’d be the type of guy to go out and stalk girls.”

“I’d stalk you if I could go out.” He pokes you on the arm, you chuckle, throwing the wrapper from the candy at him in the process.

“Would you?” You smile, slightly leaning into him.

“Yeah, would even take all of those pictures, hang them up, go super Diane Turner on you.” He smirks, one of his hands cup your chin.

“Criminal minds, Zugzwang, smart.” You lean in again, he notices that specific behaviour.

“Mhm.” He hums again, pushes your hair behind your ear before he’s finally the one to come closer to you, his lips meet yours briefly in a soft kiss, not too long because he doesn’t really want you to go floating on his room right now.

He parts away, you close your eyes with a sigh before leaning your forehead onto his. “I hate that you’re stuck in this house.” You whisper. “Wish I could help.” He slightly pulls away, frowns, something in him lights up.

He never planned on using you to switch souls with you, he actually really did like you, but unfortunately, his love for you doesn’t overpower his wish to live again.

“There’s something you can do but..” he tries to speak, you cut him off.

“I’ll do it.” You immediately say.

God, are you this starved for love? He’s never noticed it before.

He doesn’t want to trick you,

“There’s this book..” he starts.
