Hello and welcome to my rp blog for Michael distortion from TMA :-) I created this blog after i made a joke about wanting to make a michael blog in a tma server and was immediately told "YES!!" so here we are!! i was originally going to name it "throatofdelusion" but that was taken so i instead settled with "melodydescribed"!, a reference to one of his quotes "how would a melody describe itself when asked?" and bc silly :3

Listened to "no distance left to run" by blur for the first time and bawled my eyes out for an hour.

The song is such an intimate experience, and so much more than just a breakup song. It's about closing chapters of life and moving on peacefully in a broader picture. It holds importance to close this door, so another can open, but simultaneously you feel small and insignificant. The song is comforting you with it's sadness, as if to say "you're not alone". It's far past grieving and more like a peaceful acceptance of a loss; willingful. Only thinking about this makes me cry again.

So, since everyone else has been dropping their Origins character in their older, Inquisition era... I figured I should work on the same for Mahanon! This was originally an AU design, but it's so gorgeous that I'm considering making it canon to his worldstate; @vahingoniloinenlapsi did an excellent job capturing the look I was going for! Mahanon has always been one to flirt with fringe cults; why wouldn't he take advantage of the rising power and shack up with the Inquisition? The Sword of the Herald, perhaps?
