Original Baxter stockman Basement painting by me. Loved making this. Early on this location played a bigger part in the story. We returned to it multiple times through out the old version of the film. Mondo gecko used to be held in a cage here. Baxter would buy stolen/illegal exotic animals to experiment on, There were story boards where Baxter exploded an alligator in the kiddy pool. We had kind of a weird amount of animal death in the old version 😂. There was also a beach boys needle drop. It was pretty tight actually. Can you find the Easter egg?

I got to transform paint this background for the Solar Opposites holiday special! It was such a joy to make all the colors fit for such a love struck occasion! I definitely took color inspiration from the target valentines day section, it had to look aesthetic!

Introducing, Weed Film.

Weed Film is a two minute animated comedy short film about two uni students in their final year and how procrastination can lead to big problems. It will be a similar comedic style to Regular Show, Adventure Time and Amazing World of Gumball.

At the beginning of their tenancy their landlord told them to take care of the garden but after two terms of doing absolutely nothing about the garden, it's turned into a jungle. Join them as they attempt to clear the weeds and come across a hidden adversary.

Me and a friend are working on this short together and are currently at the start of our preproduction. We have experience directing and completing one short already (which will be released soon) which we began in second year and we have both worked on another student's thesis film as animators and background artists (which also be released soon).

We project this short to be finished in potentially 10-12 months, as we will have to work on it part-time. However, we are working on securing a grant or potentially crowd funding if we get a large enough positive reception.

If we can secure funding then we'll be working fulltime and hopefully hiring on more people, the priority will be hiring UK based recent graduates to help animation, layouts, bg paint, audio, ect. Of course this is if we get funding.

I will be posting updates semi-regularly so stay tuned :)

I've been working on some easier to animate versions of some of the characters for a Youtube Intro and Outro!! I really like how these sketchy turn-arounds came out! They aren't up to industry standard, but since I'm the only one animating 'em it doesn't really matter! I think in the end it'll be super cute and goofy and fun!!

A huge batch of color keys i did for the mid credits high-school sequence in TMNT Mutant Mayhem, including some vertical phone ones. keys are a weird thing because they are sort of cobbled together from rough 3d and other artists paintings, lots of collaboration and recycling to increase efficiency
