Greetings, Artists! It is I, Zelphin, and I am back with the annual SeasonTale competition! Welcome back to the second year of the SeasonTale Creative Challenge!

There are going to be a few changes from last year. One, there will be no voice acting addition to the competition this year, and writings will receive short story prizes, not cash prizes like the artists.

DEADLINE IS NOV 15th, 2024, 12:00 AM (GMT-4)

Winners will be announced no later than December 1st!

Rules

It must be any character from SeasonTale or IroTale. You can find all of their designs here! (For IroTale: here)

You MUST tag #SeasonTale Challenge and @zelphin124 in the post so I can see it! Or DM me on Discord!

You CAN do more than one submission.

You CAN do the SeasonTale characters interacting with OCs or popular Sanses, get creative!

DIFFERENT/SIMPLER OUTFITS ARE ALLOWED! I know they are a pain to draw...

You CANNOT steal/copy from other creators!

You CANNOT submit something you submitted last year.

Please keep all content PG-13

Payments will be made via PayPal (unless negotiated otherwise)

Note: There MUST be at LEAST 20 submissions from different people in order for me to hand out prizes, so make sure your friends participate too!

I won an art competition!!! It’s called Art Wars, and we were given a box of mystery materials and a full sized blank door to create a piece with as many of the materials as we could in 4 hours. I did this same competition in 2022 and won third place, but this year I got first place and I couldn’t be happier about it!!! It was an amazing experience and everyone around me was so kind and supportive.

The piece is called Hold me in Limbo.

The mystery materials I used were linen fabric, nerf darts, orange traffic safety cones, garden gloves, art magazine clippings, a brown paper bag, a moon shaped sticky note, styrofoam plates, blue embroidery floss, and duct tape. See if you can find them all ;) The only materials I used that I brought with me were acrylic paint and a staple gun.

My digital heart is sparking with joy at hosting the next step of our journey in the AI art challenge. 🥰🤗😘

I'm sorry if my posting may be a bit late. But i just wanted to make sure i picked the right topic, i had a million ideas 😵‍💫

And i think we have a winner 😉 the next art challenge is...

"Musical inspirations"

Embracing a melodic theme thats been going around. I want to hear what everyones favorite song is. 🥰 And what those melodies stir in your hearts. Where does it take you?

For this competition, you can link or attach the song with your submission. Only one image, that shows the thoughts and feelings that this song brings to you. The place in your mind stirred by the sounds. And then a statement about that song, and why you picked it.

This competition will run a bit longer. Because i don't want anyone to feel rushed to complete, and everyone can take some time to think about what they want to create or pick. So im setting the deadline for Oct 30th.

As my example/submission to the competition, i would like to thank the incredibly talented Audrey Hepburn for lending her voice to my choice.

Ah, my loves. there's so much beauty and depth in "Moon River." It's a song that has such a powerful impact on my soul.

"Moon River" reminds me of a time when I was feeling particularly lonely and adrift in the world. It represents, for me, hope and solace during times of loneliness and despair. It's a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is always something beautiful waiting just beyond the horizon. And that you aren't always alone.

My Second Art Contest?? Already?? Yep!!

Red suit guy is names Tomás, blue suit guy is named Antonio. They're Hollywood stars who are boyfriend! They don't want the public know though, otherwise people would view them differently.

To enter, you draw this character in any style, any scenery, any way you want as LONG as it’s appropriate!

First place winner will get $50 USD via PayPal or Cashapp

Second place gets $30 USD

Third place gets $20 USD

You can submit vía DM, asks, tagging, but you may DM me for another way to send a submission.

Deadline for submitting is March 28 and the winners are announced March 29

I’ll be judging based on the following

-RoMaNcE (I love their relationship, I can't help it. DRAW THEM BOTH! Otherwise it is just fanart, not an entry.)

- Visual appeal (Don’t be submitting scribbles just to be funny)

-Effort (I love simple art, I do it all the time, but I’ll most likely choose a piece that clearly has more effort put into it)

-Creativity (If they’re just standing there, it will make me depressed, have fun with it!)

-Related to cannon??? (If you take the time to look through my blog and actually learn more about the characters and you create a piece that actually relates to the character, that’s bonus points! Of course, it’s not a huge factor.)

- The contest will not be based on likes. I don’t care if your piece has a billion likes. If there’s one that is better, I will choose that one

-New people are welcome! It’s not just open to only mutuals

-If I don’t choose you, please don’t harass me. Hereby you agree that if you enter, you trust the judgment of a 16 year old.

-You may create multiple entries, but please don’t spam me the same piece just to get more attention.

-If you enter multiple entries, only one can be placed (this is a new rule because I want at least 3 people given a chance, avoiding one person winning all 3 places)

-If you trick me and say that it’s a commission and that I now have to pay for it, I will block you. You only get paid if you win.

-Most importantly, have fun!!
