Thoughts on Ho'olheyak?

Oh, I fucking love her.

"But Doc, you never talk or reblog her" yes because so many folks just look at her surface level for the lack of meta, the sniddies, or the "lol what a wacky evil gal". Yet I have been lurking in the shadows, gathering my thoughts on her since Lone Trail...and her module. Her module gives me So Many Feelings, y'all.

Because yes, she's pretty, and she's powerful (in story and in game I stand by this SHE IS FUN TO USE HAVE HER BLOW AWAY SHEEP FOR ENRICHMENT), and she's that antagonist that always gets away to bother the heroes more. But under that? She is always at risk of being literally crushed by her legacy. She is grasping for eveyrthing she cannot have, and in many ways knows she cannot have, but she has to keep going because her sunk cost fallacy for her and her entire people is that far gone. She puts herself up on a pedestal she's building herself, higher and higher, and even if she's lonely she tells herself it's worth it. It has to be worth it.

I. Love. Ho'olheyak. And everything so deeply complicated about her.

do you have any advice on how to properly use texlapp, any opinions on Irish hip hop group Kneecap, and / or explanations on zero escape lore?

So if you want to properly use Texlapp synergy in the base, you'll have to bring in Exusiai to counter Texas' morale drain while both Texas and Lappland are in the trading post. If you want to use them on the battlefield together, you can put Lappland behind Texas so she can attack units Texas is blocking at a distance, and you can use Texas S2 to temporarily stun enemies if you need Lappland to make a couple more attacks to build up her S2's Offensive Recovery. Just keep in mind that Texas is really frail, so don't necessarily count on her as a good blocker for stronger enemies! Put on Get Your Brits Out and couldn't understand a single word they said outside of the chorus because they were going too fast. Thumbs up. Apparently they've been condemned by the government. I know that he has Character Development, but I have no idea what is it since well, y'know. so I have no idea how much the character has been developed! i wish i could give you a better opinion, i always feel like disappointing when i reply to a bingo ask and end up giving barely anything cause "character i haven't looked at yet" </3

PTILOPSIS MY FRIEND PTILOPSIS!!! she’s always been more of a “sleeper blorbo” for me, aka i don’t really actively think about her until she comes to mind via someone else and then i think about her a whole whole lot. i love her. she’s such an autism beast and she is trying her best and if she killed god i would help her no questions asked. she’s such a goat both lorewise and gameplay wise and her design is absolutely adorable. peak arknights character. rarely does it get better than this

For the bingo, how do you feel about Blemishine Arknights?

i love the entire nearl family and the knightly aesthetics. every nearl family member looks so cool. i would marry any of them. yes this includes młynar.

i think blemishine individually is cute and sweet. her smile makes me think of birthday parties for some reason. i think if she started laughing or smiling, everyone else would smile too.

together with nearl, the two of them seem like a fun duo to write. i especially really liked that scene in Maria Nearl where they fight together. i think thats really cute and sweet and cool.

i dont think she gets done dirty, especially when compared to nearl. (if i had a nickel for every joke about nearl's (redacted) size i would have far too many nickels.)

overall im much more of a simp for margaret nearl though.

Lumen for the character ask?

I do love Lumen a whole lot. He's such a cool guy! And yes, we all joke that he's a nervous wet napkin of a boy, but really, he has a lot of depth to him that goes unexplored or cast aside. I'm super excited to see how he develops further, especially considering all the potential plot threads he can follow. (Inquisitor, his family's legacy, the abyssal hunters, medic, inventor, etc...)

He does also work best in a dynamic, though he has so many to choose from! He's fun to just pair with other characters and observe through a microscope. However, he's still a strong character on his own with a lot to explore.

Muelsyse with the bingo ask

Muelsyse is that one character I WISH I could put more efforts to give content, she's seriously an amazing character!

She's cool looking because heh. nori's design. do I need to explain

Deeper than she seems, obviously - her whole character is that she appears like a teehee silly elf, but she's definitely more than that, and there's a whole bunch of things to say about her trying to find her place in this world, and her relationship with the Doctor!

And by god I can absolutely understand her. myself i feel like i have nowhere to belong, and the very few people im holding on to are straying away from me. i absolutely feel her on it, how she had to witness Saria leaving, Kristen changing, and how sick she could have felt at this moment.

And she got done dirty by fans because. we're in the Arknights community. of course. not saying it's every fan's case, but the Vaporeon joke with her is starting to get unfunny, and people will tend to waifu-y her anyway

Also, I hesitated to put "they work better as part of a dynamic", but I don't really think so. her character was already really appealing to me before Lone Trail, and so, before we learned how close she was to Saria and Kristen. she works well alone, with her whole existential crisis! but of course she gets extremely good bonus points with the dynamics she has, because not only she can't find her place, but also, she's losing what she considered her home

Mumu is very cool, I remember I was absolutely fan of her after Lone Trail, but then I just... Started to focus less on her. Probably because there's people out there who know and represent her better than I do
