That’s basically him, and look, he even has a new boyfriend! I mean partner. Partner *wink, wink* I think it may be some elaborate tribute to Sorachi, because it’s just too close to real Gintoki xD

Nendoroid Godzilla Singular Point Yun Arikawa

I've never had Nendoroids, but I've always liked them and found them appealing. The last thing I need is to start collecting something else. At least these don't take up a lot of space.

Finally my love of Godzilla and Nendoroids aligns! I’ve had these pre-ordered from 2021, and the Goodsmile Company’s US shipping had been delayed several times, but now the Singular Point crew has come home!!

As an enlightened Nendoroid appreciater™️ Yun, Mei and Pelops II make excellent figures in the series. Yun has my favorite accessories of the bunch (like the Orthogonal Diagonalizer or his gas mask), but Mei takes the cake for overall cuteness. The angle which she wears her big ole glasses is an excellent detail. The Pelops II nendoroid is very cool (my first nendo to feature magnetic limb pieces), but I have a difficult time swapping his faceplates, like I’ll break it if I exert too much force. Having broke an Ultraman and Evangelion Unit 1 figure one after the other after buying them at an anime con a few years back, I try not to push them too far.

Regardless, I’m so happy I’ve got a trio of nendoroids to display in my Godzilla/Kaiju collection. I’m hoping these do well enough that GSC releases more nendoroids from the Godzilla series. I would pre-order day 1 for classic human characters like 1954 Dr. Serizawa or Astro Monster’s Miss Namikawa. Hell, if they can break the monopoly Bandai Namco has on Godzilla kaiju figures I’d order an actual Godzilla figure in the nendoroid style, something cuter and simpler compared to the deforeal line of figures. One can dream…
